C M: Wish I had happier things to say but after being charged $40 for sending a message asking if my doctor received my file from another pratice and if they had a chance to go over it and then asking what my next move should be it's hard to say anything happy, doesnt help that given the several visits I've had here they've yet to actually make much progress on my symptoms

Valerie Miller: Today was one of the worst doctor experiences I've witnessed. My husband has been dealing with an ongoing issue that we have sought doctor after doctor who could not figure out what is wrong with him. When we were finally referred to U of M we thought we would finally be on a path with real passion to help and find out the problem. Actually do the work to investigate the issue. Instead based on a verbal retelling and a physical examination of everywhere AROUND the problem area. The doctor dismissed my husband's claims instead questioned his nervousness when being palpated as having "anxiety issues" or blaming his ADHD.The doctor basically told him that she didn't think he was injured and that physical therapy would fix him when he literally explained several times that physical activity makes it severely worse! There is visible differences in the area that she just said, "so you went from normal to normal" I'm sorry but if a gentleman is having issues with his private area he would know what feels normal and what doesn't after 38 years of living with it. We drove 2.5 hours to be treated like we were crazy and be no closer to finding a solution other than taking a stab in the dark at something she just guessed was the problem. Then proceeded to inform me (his wife who has desperately been trying to help him get answers for a year) that I should have brought all of the notes from previous doctors with us. If this was not provided by the referring doctor I should have been made aware so i could have taken the time to call the list of doctors that we have provided to every doctor prior.

I have never been so mad in my life , from the disrespectful comments to the rolling eyes, I was beside myself I even lost my own patience with this front desk. I work with three doctors myself, and have never seen anything like this. Now my own personality may have got a little out of hand, but that was due to the lack of respect I was receiving back I was only dishing out the way that I was being treated at this visit check inThis ruined my entire day and I’m also mad at myself for allowing it to do that to me. I will be moving myself away from U Of M completely moving forward.When people go to a visit at a hospital, typically they’re nervous they’re worried and what they need back from a front desk is compassion and consideration to make the situation better and calm and allow your opinions to feel considered invalidated the front desk at the urology failed this part of patient service.If I’m being honest disappointed is an understatement

Q. L.: The urologist was pleasant and great to visit. However, the receptionist was going through medical records not relevant to my treatment and commenting on them. When she was told they weren't needed for treatment she continued to read them and comment on the records. This seems like a huge violation to HIPAA and makes me question this offices practices.

sarah hobi: Confidently and extremely recommend Dr Ohl. Husband was diagnosed with vericoceles in January 2019. Dr Ohl performed the surgery April 2019. 3 months after surgery in June 2019 we conceived naturally after trying for 2 years. 10 months after my son was born I conceived again first time trying to conceive again and I am due in 2021! Dr. Ohl is an excellent surgeon. His precision allowed us to conceive naturally!
