Blue Heron Bay Splash Park: what do users think?
Kandra Sobel: KEEP WATER SHOES ON!!!! There are a TON of yellow jackets and wasps at this splash pad!! my daughter stepped on one under the spider spray and got stung. Keep your water shoes on if you go to this park. They really should invest in decoy nests to keep them away from the splash area, and plant mint plants around the perimeter of the entire area (they dislike mint)
Tü Jayz: Kids went nuts, its awesome for the whole family, go see for yourself.
Cindy Goheen: Bummer. Was not open and not posted on their Facebook page
The French bulldog lady: Birthday party was a hit food was yummy wasn't crazy busy will be back thank you
Shawna Gerry: Went for the first time and my kiddos were over the moon! I was pleased by the menu at the food bar and the prices were so reasonable!
Adam R: Great splash area. They have a open slide and closed slide. Lifeguards on duty in all areas. There is a concession area. Property was very clean.
Jessica Adams: We came here multiple times over the summer. My kids ages 2, 5 and 7 love this place!
Joseph Steele: Great place to go with the family to cool off during the summer. The water sprinklers, and the playscape with the big water bucket is always fun for the kids. The giant slides are always a big hit with kids and adults. There are restrooms, and locker rooms to change. There even is a snack bar selling hot dogs, burgers and chicken fingers. It's very laid back and a nice little place to go for the day.
GemsInfoPress Services: My 1 1/2 grandson is very happy playing in his section for little people. He has met new water loving friends
Brigitte Sparrow: Great place in the summer! Kids aren't supervised here. Parents no where to be found. Very responsive to requests of staff to intervene.
Joseph Bosnyak: Best course for disc in the area
Peggy Tiani: Kids love it all.
Matthew Bradish: Perfect
Ryan Nemeth: Great park and staff.
Anya Cobler: Great water park for small children. Always clean, low crowds, lovely setting. Wish we could bring in food but not a deal breaker. Love bringing my kids here.
Becky Ladebauche: Fantastic Place for kids of all ages!! The bucket dump is the best
Darcy Day: Great place to take the children for a birthday party!! Love the water slides!!👍
Alicia Webber: Great splash pad and Spray Park! Perfect for kids 10 and under. Two slides, must be 42in to ride. Very polite staff and reasonable food prices.
Ryanne Orosco: By far, our favorite water park for little kids. It's no Rolling Hills, but for the price and being able to go to Independence lake also it's pretty great.

Lower Huron Metropark - Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center: what do users think?
David Der: Great park for the whole family.
Anthony Doe: Funnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Jacques Dugger: Turtle Cove is great with one exception...the deepest end of ANY pool is 3-ft! 3-ft?! That's pretty sad. It has to be a world record for shortest deep end of a pool, at least tied for the record! The old pool at this Metro Park, now torn down, had a 12-ft deep end and diving board(s). That's a pretty big downgrade. Otherwise, this truly is a really great place. Spacious lawn, long lazy river, and a couple of great slides. Kids will love it, there's a lot of areas for them. But for a single adult like myself, not having a "deep end" of a pool to wade in is disappointing. Still, I'm going with 5 stars, as it's a really nice and clean place.
Sharon Cuttitta: Good but not great. Clean. Lots of supervision. Not much variety. Fussy about rules. We had fun for a couple of hours. A bit pricey for what they have.
MrSPLKING: Very nice water park 👍
Widesign: Nice and clean park
DJuan J. May: Fun time with the family!
Lante Lewis: My family loves it here
John Childs II: Had a great time with the family
Richie Perry: Clean and well maintained.
Tony The Shovel: Was great place to hang out for the day, get there early and get a good spot outside the waterpark. Was beautiful day! Kids had a blast!
QUEEN B: Half of the attractions were closed even tho website said they were open. Not worth price.
Raul O: Super fun!!! The aquatic center has everything you want. Big pool, lazy river, splashpad, and water slides. The entrance is reasonable in price. For the little ones there are free water flotties to use. The parking lot is huge and free, but access to the state park is paid. You can spend a whole day without getting bored. have fun!
Fnm Shm: ،beautiful place for the kids and safety
Gabriel Lyon: Very fun for all looking forward to new slides next year!
Susan Livak: Fun. Fun, fun. Reasonably priced and very clean.
Glenda Evans: We have our yearly family picnic there for over 30 years
Gregory Edwards: We had a family picnic
David Smith: Nice waterpark with 2 waterslides, pool, kids area, and lazy river. I was looking forward to relaxing on lazy river since I'm 66 with a bad back. Unfortunately it was closed due to staffing shortage. Must say they do have many good lifeguards. Place was clean & tidy.
Kelly Boelter: I live very close to the water park and have had visiting it on my summer bucket list for years. Finally yesterday we went. We were charged for three tickets, (we had our granddaughter) even though I explained that my husband had just come from the hospital, and would not be getting in the water. The bandages all over his arm should have given a clue. It didn't matter, and we paid. We got a slightly discounted rate as one of the slides, the food court as well as THE LAZY RIVER were all closed! I was so looking forward to the floating down the lazy river, and was extremely disappointed. We didn't bring food as it was advertised we could get food there. I checked several Google sites just trying to find out the hours. Nowhere did I see just how much was closed. They had ample life guards who were very concerned about children running and going down the little slides feet first. No attention at all was given to the big, teenage boys blocking the slides preventing the smaller kids from going down. I will make sure to do more research before I tell my six year old that we will be spending the day at the Waterpark.
Rajendra Prasad: Good.. Lazy river is closed due to shortage is staff and disappointing
