Amy: Love trying on new gear here. When I needed a new backpack suitcase, staff helped me try on different ones to find one most comfortable for my petite frame. They found me a bag that wasn’t even on my list, and was the cheapest! I come here for all my sporting needs and for clothes.

David in the bike department is so kind, patient, thorough, knowledgable and accommodating. Pat was great too! Maggie Williams: Honestly who doesn’t love rei.Yesterday I utilized the bike shop for the first time and was blown away. Being newish to Michigan, I was very nervous to bring my triathlon bike in for service, after years of utilizing a specific endurance bike shop in Colorado that specialized in triathlon. Because triathlon bikes are not the type of bike REI sells, I just assumed it might be an issue.The associate David was incredibly kind and patient as I tried to explain what hiccups I was experiencing with my bike. He walked through a few things with me so he could best understand my concerns, instead of just checking the bike in and saying he’d call when ready. He also offered varying services that he thought would be better than what I asked for given my bike is new, but did so in a way that was informative and not just pushing a higher service bill.I shop rei for all my rock and ice climbing needs, and I’m stoked to be able to use them for my other sports as well.

They were absolutely swamped this past weekend due to shopping for the holidays and Black Friday sales but the staff was still so patient and kind. Had questions in regards to a few items and they helped me out a ton. Really enjoyed my time there and will be definitely be a repeat customer at this location.

Honest News Network: Every time I go to this location my personal experience has been met with Arrogance. They talk over your head, I’m sure it trickles down from management. The tech I talked to basically made fun of my bike because I did not buy my bike at REI. They don’t treat you as a member of a so-called CO-OP and sadly not even as a customer. Also make sure to read the fine print as they take no responsibility for a bike that their techs work on. Will never do business again at this store.

Mike Siegwald: I needed to exchange something I purchased that was too small. (roof box for my car). I had no receipt but they had on file with my membership (Wellllll worth the few dollars it costs).They had a bit of a situation with my ordeal but figured it out and took care of everything and should be complimented on handling it the right way despite it being a bit out of standard practice. They sell mostly all high quality good stuff and have a 100% satisfied policy they stand behind. They not only exchanged my item, they gave me latest price which was a significant credit for my credit card. They're the best of the best here and I wouldn't shop for this type of stuff elsewhere regardless of price. REI might not be cheapest but they stand by stuff and do the right thing with minimal issue.

Dave MacFarland: Boarderline 3 ⭐️ experience. The online ordering process and pick was smooth and easy. Although, when I went for pick up I wanted to purchase several other items from store but couldn’t find them. I wandered aimlessly with a deer in headlights look for about 10 minutes and attempted to get the attention of two different associates to no avail. They didn’t appear to be busy with other tasks/customers. I want to support brick and mortar and experiences like this make it more difficult to continue to do so.
