United States Gypsum Company: what do users think?
Steve Kavanagh: Always fast to load shippers come out to truck to instruct you. Great staff
Deborah Brown: Great seeing former co-workers.
Chris Ramirez: Great place... only takes 45min to 1hr to get loaded... you need to drop your trailer, once you talk to Pamela and she gave you directions... you can park in the front and take a nap while waiting for your trailer to get loaded.... what? Did I mention they will put the tarp for you?? Wow and the people they're so nice...
DEL PATIO TRUCK Y MAS.: They very good people.this is the first USG I ever do at pick up and everything was done by 45 minutes, I like to came back and do pick up again.
Darko Iliev: Someone should teach that driver how to operate with our trailers,he bent my lending gear and i spent 30 min just to hook my trailer, and he does not care, look at my pictures and you’ll see
Cable: Frendly people , good place to work here just wish they sweep the place a little more often.
Danny Sullivan: Arrived here at 1233, straight to a door and was unloaded by 1255. Everybody here was friendly and professional.
Neil Adams: Good shipper
Noah Durfee: Would have been good except the yard dog bent my landing gear when he put my trailer down and then left. Careless. Stuck waiting on a tow truck.
Oleg Mutu: At least 2 hours to get loaded, but great staff!
Tha truth: These guys are pretty cool I get in-and-out as fast as possible

Daniel Ayala: First time picking up n everyone I dealt with were nice n friendly. I went in the week of driver appreciation week n they gave me a goody bag I wasn't expecting that. Thank you USG. Really made my day alot happier.
Michael Story: Need better cleaning crew for lot and a vaccuum to dusty stopps up filters on trucks not good to breathe into lungs and debree not good for tires
matt quirouette: Truck driver friendly
Kurt Wohlk: Not a bad place to load at all. Scale on-site which is always nice. I did not catch her name but the shipping lady is so very nice, kind, and helpful. She deserves 10 stars, we need more people like her in the world. The broker told me 6 foot tarps, I set both my 8 and 4 footers on the trailer when I dropped it and they were able to use the 4 footers. If they have loads available I will definitely come back to this place.
Jon Elliott: Good people

Menards: what do users think?
Jarrow Marval: I wanted to plant string beans in my yard but wasn't sure of their planting requirements so I went to the garden center to ask someone about it. I found an older woman with white hair who was wearing glasses and a face mask. Her response to my question was, "I don't know, did you try googling it?" Then she went back to her work, unable to assist further. I left and went across the street to Home Depot.
Nathan Nosudo: They have everything you could need for any projects and outdoor projects. They have all things needed to remodel yourself. Very fair prices but keep in mind you get what you pay for.
William Morris: WOW, what a place! Upon walking in I was a bit overwhelmed. Seems like they have everything! I was able to special order some items that other so called big named stores couldn't help me with. I'll definitely have to return soon to take my time and see what all they have. That place is huge!
Jay Honhart: If they don't have it, you probably don't need it.
Steve Fellows (The Handyman): Friendly staff & many selections
Armin Shakry: So I complained about the bathrooms and I went back again on 05/08/23 and now I am posting pictures. I was told to contact management through email and I did. It's been 6 days and no response. So whomever is reading these reviews passes the buck to contact management about the complaint. My original review is below:I think this place is amazing. The deals are great. Difficult to find workers at times.However. I never write anything bad on my reviews except when I think it is necessary. 3 times in a row in a period of 4 months I’ve gone to shop and I went to the restroom. Men’s. And all three times 2/3 stalls were backed up with feces. This location needs to check the men’s bathroom more often.
Tamara McGarrah: Menards is always exciting especially checking out whats on sell. Always clean and neat and the sales staff are actually available to help 😄
Charlie: Good thing they check ur items before u leave for customer pickup i was missing an item wouuldnt even of known until i got home saved me a trip back to menards so
Mika Allen: After being a loyal Menard’s shopper, my last run was my final run, at least for this location. I’ve ordered items that have arrived chipped and still had to pay a restocking fee; Although I didn’t complain, I completely disagree with a customer being forced to pay a restocking fee to return an item that arrived damaged. Nevertheless, my final straw is the customer service. Management has poor etiquette. A smile goes a long way, rather you agree or disagree with a customer. I’ve experienced poor service from management on more than one occasion, and it’s only the women, with the exception of the manager that appears to be Caucasian with the dark hair and tattooed eyebrows. I cannot fathom for the life of me why make your misery someone else’s issue. Please train your female management on professionalism before you lose more customers. One occasion may be excusable, but multiple instances cannot be overlooked. I do not spend my hard earned money where my business is not valued.
khalil T: Better than Home Depot
Kay Logan: Customer service is amazing!!!
Laura: Love this place, not only can i get my fence materials but I can get a loaf of bread.
Gigi Schuster: May 12, 2022Governor Whitmer Signs Bills Supporting People with Disabilities, Increasing Government TransparencyLANSING, Mich. – Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed House Bill 4256, Senate Bill 258 and Senate Bill 259 into law. House Bill 4256 allows public access training of service animals in real-world settings, which will benefit people with disabilities who rely on service animals. Senate Bills 258 and 259 ensure that government notices are posted on newspaper websites, increasing accessibility and transparency. This brings the total of bipartisan bills signed by Governor Whitmer to 823.“Today, I’m signing bills to support Michiganders with disabilities by allowing service animals in public access training to enter public places and increasing accessibility by requiring all legal notices to be placed online for free public access,” said Governor Whitmer. “Together, these bills add to the over 800 bipartisan bills I have already signed and are proof of what’s possible when we work side by side to get things done. I will work with anyone to support our neighbors, family, and friends with disabilities and make our state and local governments more accessible.”House Bill 4256 allows service animals in training to accompany their handler-trainer, and or trainer into public places of public accommodation for the purpose of training, moving forward with public access in places the handler needs to go, socializing the animal. These new laws and bills, allow service animals in public access areas where members of the public are permitted to go. The animal would remain under the control of their animal raiser, handler-trainer, handler-trainer with a facility trainer, and must have a harness, leash, handle or other type.Businesses must also be aware, that just like those who are physically disabled and are seen with their service dog by their side who are not on leash when entering a business. There are also handlers with service dogs, who have a unseen medical condition that also cannot use a leash when going into public-access area or businesses, and for their safety and their service dog safety if a medical situation should arise.Businesses need to respect this, and understand there are other ways a Service Dog with their Handler can go into a store, and have the service dog with them by tether, harness with a handle, or something that in the case of medical issue, if they need to let go for any reason, they can do so for them and their service dog safety and so the service animal can do its job. Many handlers with service dogs in public access training, or with a service dog in general, may not have their service animal on leash for unseen medical condition reasons, when that invisible condition would, and could put them and their service dogs safety at risk from things such as falling, fainting, cardiac, dizzy spells or balance coordination gives among other issues. There will also as of 2020 be harsher punishment for any buisness that hires employees who repeatedly maliciously harraass, with or without other employees also encouraging, or joining in on disruptive behavio that interferes with a handler and service animal in public access training, or a service animals with handler in general. If a handler is repeatedly harassed by employees, or others in a public acess area it will be taken seriously. The handler has the authority to call police on the employee, especially if the employee disrupts an alert, get a lawyer involved, report it to the BBB Better Business Bureau and ADA will be notified. And an investigation will happen at federal level if the employees involved are not held accountableAny employees found accountable for such federal government criminal acts against a handler with a service animal in public access training, or service animal in general. You can be assured you will go to jail, it will go on record, 600 hrs. community service and a hefty fine for harassing, and deliberately trying to start anything towards a handler and service animal will be punishment under federal law.
Yahia Taha: very well organized store products on shelves, great prices, clean store, good employees. 💯
Robert Saylor: Shout-out to Kendall for his help in the lumber yard at the Livonia-Middlebelt Menards. Thank you for making our shopping visit a lot easier. Thanks for your kind attitude and professionalism. You Rock Buddy !!!
Denise Mussio: Damon at the Livonia store was awesome. He found the exact box of clearance tiles I was looking for 🙂
India Applewhite: The store was clean and well stocked. The prices were good. Menards put home Depot to shame.
Alex: Paid $200 for in home delivery, but was refused in home delivery when my order arrived. Was asked to pay extra for this at the time of delivery even though it was already paid for. The most senior manager of the store, Wes, could not resolve the issue and hung up on me when I called to complain. Some customer service! I guess I’ll be visiting in person today to speak to Wes directly in an environment where he is unable to hang up, run away, or blatantly lie about his level of seniority. :)
Brian Pitts: The store was well organized and staff was friendly. The store space is huge - they’ve got home improvement stuff, a small grocery area, & light fixtures
Rahul Singh: This review is based on an online order. Once you get to the store you have to go the very back to pick up the order. They also charge a processing fee for online order “for pulling it off the shelf”. Why bother charging a fee if you’re going to make customers walk all the way through the store - if I’d know that I would’ve just gotten it myself. Their rebate system is also a joke you can only use rebate in store and be watch your mail carefully since it used to be a postcard that you might accidentally throw away thinking it’s junk mail.
Joe Adamo: The employees were plentiful and very helpful. The store was clean, well-stacked and easy to move about in.

Menards: what do users think?
Matthew Menna: 11% rebate is a bit of scam as you can't get a copy of your receipt if you lose it. Had issues with the truck rental being more than expected as well. Overall it's easier at the orange and blue stores
Patricia Good: This store for being a hardware store is hard to shop as they have items scattered in different areas instead of all hardware or outdoor goods or food separately you need to shop all over like molding on one of store then paint way on the other prepare to spend a day shopping for your few items.
Benjamin Liedel: I just hung up the phone with the store manager. I called 5 days ago and talked with the manager and he said he would call me back that night. He did not call back. So I had my manager call back two days ago and they said they would call by noon that day and did not call him back. Finally a NEW store manager calls me today only to tell me they take no responsibility for their online ordering system. She said several times that I ordered the door. Absolutely terrible customer service.
SABC Crúde: Good place to go for quick repairs and tools for the job. Service is usually very friendly and helpful.
Sam “Sayum” Canty: Very cool stuff but very skeptical about store safety after that guy got crushed by the tile in livonia
Kristen Knowles: I can see why there is such a high turn over rate at this location. The older gentleman that seems to be a manager, is rude and thinks he's better than you.
Gen M: Paint ruined my Levi’s and shoes. Liability company will treat you horribly and avoid paying full price plus will deduct 10% depreciation & take months/weeks to reply. Called 3 separate times and spoke with different workers. Repeated same scenario various times.
Paul Spinney: First time at Menards, and while I was completely lost with how big of a store it was, it was extremely clean, stocked up, organized, had time to look at it all (as I walked the entire store looking for drywall.)
Pam Lincoln: Got what we went for and more!
Douglas Chisholm: Menards is the Chick-fil-a of home improvement stores.Excellent service, clean, well-organized. It almost catches me off guard, I'm not used to seeing this.
A C: I was at a hardware will you buy shelves and stuff you for the walls and one of you employees were there to help he was very very helpful I told the manager and she said thank you for that and I think he should get a credit for that he had time and help me with finding shelves unexplained things to me and everything when I asked and that was very very patient person working there can't remember his name but I told the manager who works there and he works from 12 to 1 so ask her she was should know it's one of her employees thank you very much and have a nice day be safe out there all of you
Sara Baksa: Can usually find what we need every time.
Scott Beaudrie: Always receive excellent service. Staff are extremely helpful. Never had a problem with any item I have purchased. I believe I was the first person to purchase a floating boat dock from this Menards. The dock is still in use. No complaints with it.
Carla: Ist time in this store the customer service was awesome. So many items and products to choose from, just about anything you need. And the prices are reasonable.
j knockturnal: Blue collar Ikea. Interesting place, and I had a manager guide me through the labyrinthian aisles to find my treasure - aspirin. I also left with more than that blasted bottle of pills... A half gallon of Gatorade and a set of 2 Colgate toothbrushes. $6.28. Pretty damned good, eh?
Phil Reitano: Had everything we needed. We love Menards.
jason peterson: They had the products I wanted and at a reasonable price but they don't have the ability to cut wood/plywood over an 8" cut which made it impossible to transport my purchases home. For future purchases that need that service I will go elsewhere. Typically that means I will spend all my money elsewhere for convenience sake. Menards is the only home improvement store that can't perform this service.
Debra Fair: All I can say is Menards in Taylor has spectacular employees! Thomas and Derek are a dying breed, exceedingly rare!!
Sarina Weglarz: Disappointed with the service in your return area on 1/24. I spoke with Tracy and advised her I have a new menards card so I do not have the physical card to swipe at the kiosk and needed to look up my receipt. I had asked her if there was anyway to do this without the physical card and with the card information. She said there was not and they would just refund as store credit at the lowest price within the last 90 days. This seemed odd to me if they can look up my card when I check out and can look up the receipt with the card. I went back and researched online myself and your website will let you manually enter your card info and it will pull up any receipts. If this isn't common knowledge for your associates to be familiar with what your company offers and different routes they can use to obtain receipts they should be informed of this.
Scott Adams: Clean, well lit, met with a "Hi!" as I walked in. A lot of employees asked if they could help me thru out the whole store. When I asked, the guy stopped what he was doing and walked me to the main aisle that took me right to what I wanted. Hugh store that carries just about everything needed to build a house, maintain and clean it! Good prices too!
Lance Sulek: Made 2 different online purchases today. I got a response for the first order saying it wasn't available. I made a 2nd online order, drove to the store, and again received a message saying that one is not available. Once at the store I found booth items but was told they could not sell me them because they are marked to be put on display. Frustrating. Then I spoke with manager, Shane, about making sure my credit card wasn't charged and he said I just had to watch my bank statement and they should drop off. Ugh, big fail on customer service today. It would have been so easy to make it a wow experience.

Missy Parsons: I love this place, as well as the whole team working there. Pleasant and helpful.
