Shay Marie: They placed a remote starter device on my vehicle incorrectly which caused my car not to start, repeatedly. I took my vehicle to them countless times, and only received excuses. After paying money to get my vehicle towed time and time again (4 times), and paying for unnecessary repairs due to their work, I went to the company and asked for reimbursement or compensation, since it was found to be their fault. Though it was CONFIRMED to be an issue from the installation, they refused to reimburse me for the money I spent out of pocket for repairs and tows, and the owner was rude to me when I spoke to him over the phone. Thing is, I have purchased from them many times before he even became the owner, back when Moe and Menard were there. I continued to patronize the business expecting the same type of service I was used to with the previous owners (accountability and fixing the issue), but that was not the case. I would not recommend. At all.

This shop worked with me. Great customer service.So happy I discovered Detroit sound station !!!I came up there Friday at 925am, waited patiently, they where done 1250pm. They tested out the audio, the guy told me the audio was great, he told me where the gps and usb connector was located, and gave me a receipt. I will only recommend this place. I tested it myself, they installed it excellent, looks firm and in place. Everything functions brilliantly with ease, love it.I went thru loops beforehand. I went to Mickey shorrs. They told me they cant do it, didn't have brackets, kit too big, the stereo will fall back, its low quality, just wow. Went to abc Warehouse, they said they cant do it. Dude told me they dont work with third party products. Tried to advise me to buy their stereos instead. Other shops, booked for weeks and months. Never take no for an answer.Go to this shop, they are good at what they do!!!July, 23, 2021

Lo Lo: I've had 2 car starters with alarms in the last decade for "older" cars done at car tunes never had a problem.I went to sound and secure because it was close to my job. Came in on 11/22 got remote starter with alarm put on my car. The alarm would not stop going off! I thought I was doing something wrong at 1st. I called they told me to bring it back in. I came back 11/27 about 10am it was packed in there! I didn't have a problem waiting but after looking at my car they asked could I come back another day their so busy and need more time for my car. They did look at my car and they said because it was an older vehicle they had to wire it different and the sensor is making the alarm think a door I'd open. OK I come back 11/29 I was there before 9 because I wanted to be the 1st customer I had to leave my car and go to work. They were late opening about 8:07am. My alarm was "Fixed" but now I seem to be having issues started the starter. Today is 1/5 The starters I've had before you just hold the button for a few seconds and it goes. This one you have to click it twice but it's not an immediate start. Some times I have to click it count to 2 then click it the 2nd time. It's just annoying!! Sometimes it doesn't start until I click it several times. Maybe I'll go back again but I've already spent about $60 in ubers going back and forth. It's just too much.

marguerite goosby: I am very disappointed and angry that the salesperson at this location will try to overcharge you when a quote was given on saturday for 675 and on monday you want to charge me 1300 for a alarm and some rewire on a classic car. How could that be and then when asked questions the salesperson didn't have a answer besides it will be a lot of work. I would not pay them that amount and this business will quote you one price and then charge another amount if allowed. I will never do any business with this company and will advise my friends and social media how you all tired to get down on a customer

HaiDera Hollins: So my boyfriend got this speaker installed in my wrangler and the day of installation, the manager somehow did not know who we were after he spoke to him over the phone. We drove there only to have to drive back because somehow our appt was not on file. So we came back and installation had to be done twice because I told him specifically I wanted the speaker on the left side of my trunk, back facing the seats. I'm right handed so my trunk organizer stays on the right and I needed the back facing the seats so that I could have more room for groceries and what not. I also told him I switch out my trunk mat so I wanted to be able to slide out from under the speaker. Fast forward to today when I go to slide my mat out, this soace cadet ran the wires through the hole in my mat!!! That hole is specifically to anchor the mat down, not run wires! So now which one of y'all will unplug and re-plug my speaker so that I can remove my mat?!

The installing company did not honor their warranty and a competitor to car tunes was rude and condescending when I tried to inquire on a new install with them. That lead me down my search to car tunes and I was very happy with them! Nick, who works at the front desk is extremely friendly and went above and beyond for customer ease and satisfaction 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

None Ya Business: To the owners, I come because of the lower prices and the almost great service. Almost is very good in this day and age. I have been there several times for different things and I will keep coming back. YOU NEED A WAITING ROOM OF SORTS, THATS ALL TO BE SAID ON THAT. To the new young man at the woodward location, he was very nice and seem to like what he was doing. Its always good to see that when you go into places. Management and other workers are also very nice, polite. Their great attitudes are the reason I keep coming back and I only refer people to that location. With that being said, Dear Owners pay your people more and appreciate them because if you dont they will leave AND I WILL FOLLOW. That new guy at the woodward location is learning so much, how do you keep him in house? Pay him and the other people that are teaching him what they are worth before its too late... Always good customer service just needs a REAL WAITING ROOM.

OCD HD: I went in hopes to fix or replace my existing remote start system on my car.It stopped working a year ago and I asked for the replacement cost for a new system.The owner said around $200 for installation and parts.But when I got there he noticed my remote start sensor wasn't working and he unclipped and took it off.Then, to my surprised the remote start system WORKED AGAIN!Basically, my car thought my hood was open all the time and it refused to start for safety reasons.THE GUY DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO CHARGE ME. WOW.HE DID THAT FOR FREE.Such a kind man and great customer service. Fantastic place.I was kind enough to pay him $20 anyway. I just had to, I couldn't take advantage of him like that.

mohammad ettaher: BEWARE!!!!!!make sure you read contract very well. I signed a contract in 2011 and some how I'm locked in for a year whether I like it or not. Also im being charged almost double what ADT chargers. Even though my contract ended 4 yrs ago, there was in small print that it automatically renews yearly with a cancellation penalty. Canceling would cause me to pay for equipment that I'm sure is considered ancient, nothing has been touched since 2011. When I voiced my displeasure not one worker cared to help. In fact after receiving the run around for days the final email I received was a very condescending email basically stating I'm screwed no matter what I do and I better have a reminder to cancel 30 days before they renew me for another year.

Their equipment is faulty they will sell you trash and then lock you into a contract . If you’re not happy with their service they will charge you 3k to cancel lol and They will try to sue you if you don’t pay , their whole business motto is sign you in and lock you in to a long term contract. I repeat do not sign the crazy contract!!!!
