Heritage Park Petting Farm: what do users think?
Omar Salinas: Visited for the first time today and my had a great time along side my two boys. The staff is super friendly and the animals were gentle with the kids. Highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about bringing their families for a wholesome time.
Irma Fernandez: Un lugar lindo para disfrutar con los hijos
Chrissy Wagner-Jones: Lovely park
Marina N: Good
Jenna Wiebe: We absolutely love this place! The employees are always so welcoming and kind. We went to the jingle bell barn this past weekend and it was so much fun!
Brittany Smith: We had a wonderful time here! Our 3 kids had a lot of fun and it was super affordable. The animals were all very friendly and the staff was very helpful! Highly recommend this place!
David Walsh: All of the animals we had the pleasure of meeting were absolutely delightful. The staff member we met - whose name we unfortunately missed getting - was extremely knowledgeable and hospitable, which was greatly appreciated. This was definitely the best petting farm experience I've ever had!
Mariel C: The animals here are so sweet and loving, it's very apparent how mindfully they are cared for. We were escorted around the property by Binx, an absolute gentleman of a cat. Staff is very friendly, they introduced us to every animal by name and told us a little bit about each one. I'm so thankful to have had this experience, and will be coming again
Elle Abrams: Brought my family here and to our surprise it was a special exotic animal event. It was so much fun! Lots of different animals. Lots of space to explore. There was also a bouncy house slide. The kids loved it! I wish they had food trucks or some type of snacks available to buy.
Jamal Jued: It's good and clean and good people there
Jessica Blanchard: It's only 4 dollars to get in the have the friendliness cow. It's not that big but the have lots of animals and a pond with goldfish.
Melody A: Cute petting farm for youg kids.
Dave Cameron: I grew up in Taylor; moved out over 30 years ago. Went back for a visit and loved this place. About an hour if you do it right to see all the animals, feed a handful, and pet a handful. Everything is very accessible for kids; and safe. There are workers who bring out various small animals for kids to pet. The goats, of course, are always by the fence wanting food.
Ms Kristina: Omg! So reasonable and beautiful
Noor Saba: We were sooooo excited to see this farm , went with higher expectations, and got really disappointed 😒Awful atmosphere, animals most of them sick , recovering or just had surgeries3 sheep had pulled eye 👁, was very hard to see ..Some other had infected eye 👁,They charge 4$ if you are not a resident of Taylor which is ridiculous…there is nothing there to enjoy!! Why you would ask for admiration fees ???Any way save the trip and go to Detroit Zoo instead ,This is wasting of time and gasNot even safe to pet sick poor animalsThe parking space was convenient thoughTheres a hall that you can rent for kids birthdays parties. But not wow or special about it 😒In general I would neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr go back to waste my time
Yevhen Drobot: Staff was very accommodating. Great place for kids. Animals easily accessible for petting. Lots of different animals.
Valerie Nardini: Don't waste your money. Children are not allowed to go in with the animals and pet them also the people who are working in the barn won't bring the animals out for the kids to pet and interact with. 😕 I was able to get my money back. Why call this a petting farm if the Children can't pet them 🤔. Very disappointed.
Scott Killoran: We had our daughters 4th birthday party here. Great place. The staff was incredible. Everything went very smoothly.
William Tullus: Kids loved it.
kj Style: Family friendlyReally cool staff
Owen Newson: Great place to [DECOMPRESS] first thing in the morning. Or at the end of the day.

Hantz Farms Detroit: what do users think?
DENNIS SWILLEY: I Love this Place
cris King: They don't care about making neighborhoods better or volunteers or doing any actual good. Only about making money.
Anna Wolf: An excellent American company driven by a man with true vision & resourcefulness. Detroit has a true hero amongst the classes.
Scotty MSU: I grew up in Michigan. Live there most of my young adult life there. I had fond memories of the Spring, Summer and Fall Season there. Not so much the winter's times. Overall I love living in Michigan. I Graduated from Michigan State University. I got married in Michigan, had my first son there...Sadly, my family and I can't no longer lived there due to the State poor economic problem. It was terrible finding good meaningful jobs. One that you can raise a family with. I had to work two jobs, one full and one part time jobs and it was still a struggle to provide. Living there, everyday you can see the writing on the wall. Business and people leaving, moving away and never coming back. Vacant houses, House for sales, business and empty building with for rent and for lease sign everywhere.Sadly and unwillingly I had to move away from that. Move away from Michigan and from everything I knew. To find work, to find hope to find meaning in life. I Moved and lived in Ohio, New Jersey, Texas, Missouri and finally moved out West to Oregon. I still often think about Michigan and the beautiful Spring and summers there...I watch the documentary on Amazon name "Land Grab" and about Detroit. I hope and wish the people there.. and that the great city of Detroit finally heal. Like a person, I hope Detroit can grow and prosper again. To build a culture of dignity, honor and honesty. Good Luck
Bryant Cordova: I saw the Amazon Documentary. I hope the positive vibes, community partnership and good fortune keep changing the city for the better.
Bradley Peerboom: Thank you for being an inspiration all of your hard work is now paying off keep the good work up

Ponies "R" Us & Mobile Petting Zoo: what do users think?
Maria Enriquez: Took my daughter here for her birthday surprise. We both absolutely loved it!! The ride was absolutely beautiful as we were able to ride during the years first snowfall. She allowed us to check out all the other animals aswell and helped brush some of the Ponies. My daughter LOVED the hands on aspect of it aswell. The horses were super sweet and well trained . We loved listening to the stories of several of the horses. My daughter is already asking when we can come back and even help out on the farm. The owners daughter is also her biggest helper and the sweetest and very knowledgeable little girl who handle those horses like a champ. Overall the owner made it very welcoming and extremely relaxed. We never ever felt rushed at all, if we didn't already have plans for the remainder of the evening we would have stayed longer . Can't wait to come back .
Mia J: I do not recommend! I wish I read the reviews before I schedule an appointment. I was very kind and flexible. I PAID HER FULL AMOUNT OVER VENMO! She does not answer my phone calls or texts. Still not have scheduled my trail ride, I just want my money back.
Vicki Williams: Got a chance to have the first snow ride of the year!!! it was amazing, I LOVE 10 YEAR OLD BAILEY! She worked those horses like a pro. I will be back
Kyia King: I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS. Very unprofessional. I took my kids for a 1 hour trail ride she took us out for 30 mins brung us back and left us on the farm with a 10 year old while she rode off with “family she haven’t seen in years” then called herself arguing with me because I told her I paid for a hour ride. Someone needs to call animal control out there she had a horse with a badly infected eye that it’s bleeding from. This place shouldn’t be in business very unsafe and unprofessional.
A Bey: So I am driving home. I couldn't even wait until I got home to write this review! What an amazing time! The vibe... Amazing! The horses(and all the other animals as well) loving and well trained! I can't wait to come back. I plan on many more visits to come! Did I say the tour guides are the best! 10's across the board!!!!!!@@
Mahmoud Korin: If they tell me to pick a place for horse riding for sure for sure i will pick this one over all the farms around Michigan they areee so friendly and sweeeet i would visit them again and again and again for sure for sureeee I really really loved it thanks everyone♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍
Hue Phung: Aashan, 12/3I sent 250.00 to your Ponies "R" us venmo account for a trailer that Danny Crowder was selling on marketplace on 12/01/2021. The picture below was posted to sell the trailer has you can see, but when i got there it sure was a shocker, he said this house is his grandfather 43021 Fret Rd, Belleville, MI 48111. Once I got there he was in back and trying to hook the trailer and bring it out to me to look at. I changed my mind and wanted my money back and he refused to do so. He told me to take the trailer and that he will give me 100.00 back once he contact you 'his girl friend' he stated that.
Dina Fayed: My daughter had so much fun thanks everyone ❤️
Benjamin Durtka: We had a great time. Very laid back.
Gary Trowbridge: Aashan and all her staff were amazing today. Came in for an hour horseback ride. I and my family are novices, but took the time to teach us what we needed to know. Got to see new babies too. Great experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Legend and all the horses were great. Go out and see her.
ul2matespeciman: She took me and my children they were riding on the backs of ponies through the woods that. she does not own behind her house during hunting season while people were actually out there hunting so dangerous people please if you care about your children do not bring them here
Emmie Mckenzie: It was amazing! Fun, and defantly recomended!
Angela Wheeler: BEWARE!! If you are buying a dog from these people. They sold my daughter a dog that already had Parvo. They wouldn't answer our calls. Totally ignored every attempt we made to contact them. Terrible, heartless people.
Olivia Elwart: My friends and I loved our trail ride at Ponies R Us!! Aashan was so friendly and fun to hang out with. Most trails rides I’ve been on have been super strict and just honestly kind of boring, but Aashan makes it a memorable and fun experience for all! She also has the cutest baby goats that she let us play with! I’ve gone twice already and plan to keep going back!
Jessica McClure: DO NOT PATRONIZING THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!! This is for sure a puppy mill. We got a puppy back in April. Luckily my puppy didn't have parvo. We were told she was a pure breed australian shepherd. We paid for a pure breed. I was very leary of believing her. My husband was way more gullible. The woman told us some sob story about the puppies being her friends who was a nurse and she was selling them for her because of covid. I've don't a dna test on her and she is what I would consider a pure breed mutt. The only thing pure breed about her is that her great grand parents were pure breed. For sure not her! Her 8 great grand parents were 2 australian shepherd, German shepherd, Swiss shepherd, australian cattle dog, Jack Russell, Irish wolf bound, and one was a mutt. She is not pure breed!!!!
Isamar Hernandez: Muy bello y lo atienden muy bien
Amanda Meloche: Puppy Mill Beware!!!! I can not in good conscience ever recommend this business. I believe the owner Aashan Bucciarelli is running a puppy mill, and has failed to respond to any of my attempts to let her make things right. We paid her $850 for a black lab puppy the end of April, the puppy had parvo, we tried contacting her right away as we were worried about the other puppies she sold, she never responded. we spent over $6,000 trying to save our puppy, she unfortunately did not make it. I've emailed Aashan, I've emailed her business page, and texted her asking for the $850 back and help with the vet bill and all we get is silence. I believe she's running a puppy mill because she obviously had sick puppies and had sold 5 or 6 different breeds of puppies just in April.
Cheyenne Wellington: Very very helpful! Loved the entire staff. Will recommend to anyone looking for a petting zoo or horseback riding for a party. Absolutely loved how they did my daughter first birthday.
Kelly Warren-Green: I also bought a parvo puppy on April 7 2020 and notified her on April 8. She “seemed” surprised & panicky about her other dogs. She continued to sell those dogs. We saved our dog and we were lucky to do so. We sent her our $2600 vet hospital receipt & we were ignored. I have reported this to every outlet I could think of.
Jacob Lopez: Super friendly people and the animals were amazing!
Kim crowder: Everything was just perfect

Detroit Farm & Cider: what do users think?
Alfred Hundley: The very best farm to table experience anywhere
Paula Jarrett-Papaioannou: Took my children and grandchildren for their harvest event. We had a great time.
Sean Don: This place is the best, the owner is nice, the atmosphere is great, the servers are even better, and even the other guests have been great people so far. I will find myself here a lot more and I have recommended that so many of my friends try it out. During a time where I've felt alone, it's always nice to find places that make you feel this welcomed. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Rich Solo: Open to the public and makes you wanna raise your own..
Aaron Thomas: Come for the Farm to table dinners, stay for the horses, goats, and chickens.
K R: Detroit Farm & Cider was the host to "Outstanding in the Field". The event was beautiful, thanks to the farm for helping this event happen. The lead chef was from Marrow using some local ingredients. The grape leaves and pecans came from this farm.
Riley McIlvride: Good atmosphere(aside from every house on the street being vacant/rundown), nicely laid out, and overall happy that it's apart of Detroit Urban agriculture. However, was very unimpressed with their most recent collaboration on Tuesday August 17th. Food was subpar, but looked very presentable. The event was well planned it seemed in every aspect except the serving of dinner. As if the chef had never cooked for 400 people before. Meat was quite cold by the time it was served at the farther end of the table. Needed a bit of diversity in terms of meat. Probably would have been better if the event was properly staffed. Maybe 20 people instead of the maybe 8 people that were serving us? Also, WHY IS THERE NO CIDER AT A PLACE WITH CIDER IN THE NAME?! Oh, and everyone apart of the group wanted to make it seem about them when it SHOULD be about the farm.
Dee Easley: Awesome family friendly
Elise Shipp: Beautiful place in the city
Doris Fields: This was a very educational and enjoyable experience for myself and great grandchildren. We loved it and look forward to spending more quality time there in 2021. Thanks for supporting our city.
Jeffrey McDaniel: Set on the grounds of a long gone elementary school, this country enterprise is city contained. Urban- farming, cider- pressing, animal raising, and community empowerment are all bundled into this enterprise. Come out and be a part of this unique experience in the middle of Detroit! Local talent are often feature to set this to music. Hot homemade soups, cider, cocoa, burgers and other snacks are available, and low cost. The EBT card is accepted along with cash and credit. Very polite young folk who are being taught the value of hard work and caring for our environment will gladly ring you up.Hayrides, horseback riding, and animal interaction are a great experience for family and friends. Let's support this great place and watch it grow!
Healthy Wild Free - David Benjamin: I was the "Farm manager" here in the summer & fall of 2020. The founder and I had a falling out for various reasons. The Farm I believe has a lot of potential for the city of Detroit but I do not believe the management and ownership of this farm actually care for the city of Detroit. It's a money operation and the farm is really falling apart because the heart is no longer in it. It's sad, because I thought I was doing good for the people and city of Detroit when really the founder had some very unkind things to say and doesn't seem to have any positive intentions for the farm other than lining her pockets.
Kecia Waddell, Ph.D.: I enjoyed this treat in DETROIT in December w/ my daughters. I love the vision for the space. I will be back to support in a few weeks for the Kwanzaa celebrations!
Kay White: I love that it is the first cider mill in the city of Detroit, and its black owned. The donuts: 👎🏽 cold hot dogs but they have a microwave. But the chilli was ok. Most of all my son enjoyed the horse ride and chasing the chickens and cats around the farm. And everyone that works their are so sweet!
Marla Rocklin: Such a delight! What a wonderful place to go and way to support a giving entrepreneur..a woman...and a black owned business
SUMMER THOMAS: It was a great experience friendly people me and my family loved it bwe will be back next week with more family.
Felicia Hayden: Lots of fun!!
Mirja M: Fun place. Love the farm oasis in the city of Detroit!
A.W. Davis: Fresh vegetables right IN the neighborhood it doesn't get any better than this
Hope Kassandra: What a great place to meet up with family for a safe (cheap) outdoor outing right in the Detroit city limits!! The warm cider was good. There were horse and tractor rides!
J Z: What a great place. We wish you well

b weaver: They are amazing, helpful, kind, and are doing it out of a love for the people of Detroit because a few years ago Detroit had a severe ack of grocery stores. These guys teach you how to grow stuff, let you borrow their tools, give out free seeds & plants, classes n everything from raising chickens to bees and all for a couple of jobs volunteering for a day and I think $20 for membership. They will do all they possibly can to help you succeed, and even show you how to sell your extra food!
Chris E.: Get my garden plants from here. Great, friendly people.
Baba Green Thumb: Always a great experience at this place.
Darius Hardrick: KGD is doing great things for the city of Detroit! I went to volunteer and learned so much while being there. The site was beautiful and the things that grow there are delicious! Keep up the great work KGD!!!

The young woman that helped me pick out all my plants on my list, she told me what I needed and when I should plant it.The people were kind nice and everyone had the biggest smiles on their faces and it was chilly and rainy but they all were eager to help. I will go dack there in a heartbeat.
Todd Scott: Great to see this farm get rebooted via Keep Growing Detroit. It's a nice replacement for their former farm location near DTE and MGM. Being on the Dequindre Cut and at Eastern Market really helps improve access, too.
