Although, I went to find a washer and dryer for myself. I was given a price of $1,800 for Maytag appliances which when searched online went for considerably less. I'd double check other places before buying unless it's really a need and it's close.Update: in response to the post from the owner. This was my honest experience. I was told it was 750 for each washer and dryer Maytag appliance. It was not sold as a set. Thank you for your response.

Tim Szczesny: Great selection of used appliances at a reasonable price. They delivered a stove promptly and worked through some challenges with connecting it, which really saved us the hassle. Unfortunately, we had some issues with multiple burners, but Tony was fantastic and quick in his response to make it right by swapping it out with another stove of the same model. All is perfect now. Still have the same fridge for over 4 years and have upgraded appliances too and definitely have never had an appliance go out under 2 years.

Big Bus: Came into the store to purchase a washer and dryer set the salesman tried to talk me into buying a set I didn’t want, I offered to buy another set but for some reason I felt that he didn’t want to sell me the better set he was asking 100$ dollars more for it which was fine but still insisted i buy the older looking set but proceeded to write up the set i wanted i asked him can it be delivered today it was only 2:00pm they closed at 6pm he said no and he rather not sell it to me if it can’t be delivered today I walked out but then came back early in the morning 2 days later to buy the set and have it delivered he then tried charging me 200$ more for the set plus delivery fee….. Don’t know what this guy issue was with me but ironically he was owner of the store lol… hate to say race was a factor but idk what else to think….I recommend black spend your money where they appreciate you at

Very reasonable, and only ever had 1 issue with my washer back in 2015 about 3 months after purchase. someone was out the next day to fix. Washer went out again and they replaced my washer, no problem. That was the only issue I have ever had with any appliance from here and they stand behind their warranty 100%. I bought my stove in 2016 and the oven has now just gone out but I was ready for another one anyway. Fridge lasted a good while before trading it to dte for a new one and my dryer is still good, purchased in I believe 2019. See you all soon for another stove

Demetruis Green: The owner was very welcoming when I came in to purchase a dryer however the dryer only lasted 3 months. I’ve reached out multiple times in regards to this dryer blowing out cold air.I was wrong for not having the receipt on hand but I asked him did he have a receipt book and he said yes. Unfortunately he was too lazy to check! I reminded him that the purchase was more recent. I don’t support this place because they were eager to sell me a product but very dry with creating a solution. I would’ve gave this place one star but at least they answered the phone during a pandemic.

Especially when it’s something that is not at fault of the customers. No matter how much I spend whether it be $10- or $800 it’s my hard earned money and I took the owner for his word. B Ahmed: Worst place you can go to. I had a Worst experience with him. I bought a stove from him for $550 but couldn't even use 4 months. It started leaking gas by the main valve because they had replaced it with old one which I figured out later. They literally sell the junk stuff and charge like it's brand new and the guy gets very rude on you when you let him know about the problem you're having. This guy is very manner less and unprofessional he definitely needs to learn some manners about how to deal customers with respect. DON'T BUY OLD JUNK STUFF AND WASTE YOUR MONEY, SPEND LITTLE MORE AND BUY A NEW ONE OTHERWISE YOU WILL PAY TWICE AND REGRET LIKE ME..

After contacting the owner! I realized. It was way over the 30 days! My washer stopped working. never had any problem with their appalance from there.! He was so cool. He had another washer dropped off today. No charge! Wow! What good people. I recommend them to everyone! I never do this review thing. But I just had too! It's nice to know! There are good people out there still. That that take pride in their company. VERY VERY HAPPY 😊!!

Kristen Boucher: I called John R Appliance 2 days ago looking for a glass top electric stove. Over the phone, they told me that they had a 'great stainless and black stove that they just fixed up'. I asked about pricing and he said, '$275 plus $40 for delivery. I said that was perfect and I'd like to purchase it. I explained that I was about an hour away and the earliest that I could get there was Saturday (2 days later) and I asked if I could pay for it over the phone with my credit card, or put a hold on it with my credit card and then come in and pay cash. They informed me that 'they don't take payments over the phone but they could hold it if I was sure that I was going to purchase it on Saturday.' I said absolutely and asked their hours on Saturday...they said 10-6, so I said I'd be there at 10. He said make it 10:30. I said great and that I would see them Saturday morning. Fast forward to Saturday...I get to the store just after 10:30, walk in and say, 'hi I'm here to pay for a hold...I believe it's that stove right there.' The guy says, 'oh that stove was sold last night.' My jaw dropped and I explained the whole thing. The old guy with crazy hair (Ralph?) Told me too bad, the stove is sold and they didn't have anything else like it but that I could go down the street to different store. He also told me he didn't care how far I drove to get there or that they said they'd hold it for me. Frankly, I'm appalled at the horrible experience. I've purchased many times before, both putting a deposit down and walking in and purchasing. Bottom line, they didn't even try to make it right...it was just too bad that I wasted my time, gas, etc driving there to purchase something they never intended on holding. They could've been honest in the 1st place and I would've gone to store #2 first. With this experience, they've lost a long standing customer.
