DuMouchelles: what do users think?
Mark Rowe: I set up an account to do some bidding on a sculpture I wanted a couple days before the auction. I had to call in a couple of times with questions about the procedure and buying process. Ryan was very helpful with setting up my account and walking me through the process! Thank you guys for your outstanding customer service and I look forward to doing business with you in the future!
Andrew Hanus: I absolutely love this place. They are very knowledgeable in art and collectibles. From purchasing to selling Bob is my guy!! Highly recommend!
Divonne Jackson: I went in last Saturday to get a free appraisal of a painting. The man who buzzed me in looked at my item and said he thought it was a Pascal. He offered me $50. I asked for a second opinion. A woman said it was a print. The man then offered me $10. I accepted $20. Since then I feel like he swindled me. I was nervous and forgot they were supposed to give me a free appraisal. I am filled with regret for selling it so cheap. I thought they were a classy place but it seems this man was only out to take advantage.
Mekkel Richards: This place is a treasure trove. You will find what you didn't know you needed.
Sydney Pasquinelli: Great experience buying furniture from DuMouchelles. I got a good deal and was able to conveniently pick up the furniture on my own schedule as long as it was within 10 days. They were friendly when I picked it up.
Wood Saw: Wonderful place extraordinary item's
Betsy Voshel: Working with Joe Walker at DuMouchelles has been a wonderful experience. He genuinely cared about the piece I was wanting to consign with them and was quick to recognize its value as a family heirloom. I appreciated his quick responses to my inquiries and the time he took explaining the process etc. We did visit the gallery and highly recommend you make a stop there as it is an incredible place!
Nathalie Demirdjian-Rivest: Family-run auction house with fairly priced, beautiful pieces from modern to 18th century art and decor. It was our first time bidding at an auction, and the owner and his whole staff were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They were also exceptionally accommodating about shipping/pickups. We’ve bid by phone, online and in person at the past two auctions and traveled up from out of state because the experience here has been unbeatable. Our purchases have been modest and we’ve still received the kindest treatment. Highly recommend.
Sheldon Edelstein: My wife and I have been frequenting this auction house for about a decade. We have purchased numerous items and have bid in person, on-line, and via telephone. We have mostly been happy with the experience (you don't win every item you might want) and the opportunity to shop through an ever changing variety of art, furniture, and jewelry. I have always felt I was treated as valued customer. I have read several negative comments and I conclude that everyone needs to be beware that auctions are competitive and there are fees involved that need to be taken into account before deciding on any bid. But for my wife and me, we love the place and will continue to attend their previews and place bids on their unique offerings.
Karen Schmart: Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
john bruno: Placed a bid through Liveauctioneers and I was the high bidder. But when it came time for the item to sell online, the auction skipped my item completely and went to the next item. Then it said my item sold for the same amount that I'd bid earlier that morning, but that I was not the winner. Spoke with a woman on the phone minutes later. Her excuses were laughable. My Liveauctioneers bid was ignored. A waste of time.
My Dog Blaze: Completely unresponsive to emails. I reached out on multiple occasions and received no response whatsoever.
Nicholas Paul: I wish I could be as happy as some of the below posters. But see I'm a seller. Been charged 35% (that's on top of the buyer premium - 60% odd in total) and now no one will respond to my emails when I've asked why so much????So I'm sad and if you're looking to sell through them be very careful.....
Cathy Loniewski Girdler: I needed an appraisal on several pieces of art. Joe Walker was knowledgeable and responsive with the details that I needed. DuMouchelles was so very helpful. So pleased I reached out to them.
branger claire: WORST auction house ever! Liar and thief. I bought a Hermès bag for $10,000, and I received a fake. I tried to communicate, they never answered me. I returned the bag, they never refunded me. So unprofessional! Unable to authenticate, and unable to own up to their mistakes. TO AVOID !!!!
june bhattarai: Never had a worse experience at any gallery before. had previously emailed dumouchelles about pieces I had for consignment and they told me to come in. we go into the gallery and an old woman quickly glances over my pieces, doesn’t look at signatures or editions or anything and immediately tells me none of them are worth anything and walks away. I’m left standing at the register alone and i haven’t been in the gallery for longer than 3 minutes at this point. overall this is a terrible gallery/auction house run by a bunch of old people who'd rather go back to eating their lunch than do their job. amateur auction house for those who know nothing about art.
Martin Walsh: In seeking evaluation of two early Dutch paintings I had recently acquired, I was very cordially welcomed by the DuMouchelles staff on a recent Saturday open appraisal. The research team of Joe Walker and James Flannery tackled my pieces with great enthusiasm, expertise, and good humor. Joe's running commentary was particularly instructive. I learned a great deal from observing the appraisal process and was gratified to hear that my pieces were likely of the age I had assumed them to be. All in all a very positive and enjoyable experience.
Marc M: I have never had a bad experience buying or selling from Dumoshell‘s auction House. Staff is phenomenal and I don’t have the names of all the people who have been helpful but from unloading my vehicle to getting a quick parking spot that’s safe to just being handled over the phone and in person. This place is a Jim in the heart of our wonderful city. In particular Anne-Marie sent my young children their auction listing so that they could have a tangible item while they watched our auction progress. She offered to do this because I’m trying to teach them a little bit of business in the auction in art world in her effort is going to make my kids feel extra special. Great company honest people a wonderful store to visit.
Cindy Anderson: I absolutely enjoyed working with this company. Excellent people they know their business! And I plan to do business with them in the future
Hugh Pickens: Your live auction platform is awful. I registered for your live auction that took place on March 25 to bid on Lot 1044 by Donald De Lue. I repeatedly placed a bid on this item and it did not register or go through even after I pressed the button to confirm the bid. The item went for $10,000 while I repeatedly placed a bid of $11,000 and was willing to go much higher.I am very disappointed wih your platform.
Ahmed Issawi: I went to this place with some art work from my mothers Estate, going in I was really intimidated. But once I met Joe, everything was amazing, he set my mind at ease. He was professional and caring, and was willing to help as well as guide me with the art that I had. I would definitely recommend this place.

Block Auction House: what do users think?
june bug: They do not tell you items are reproductions!!! They did NoT include a lot I won!!! Emailed them twice and said I would get a refund … and still NOTHING over 1.5 months later!!! Bought 4 lots of Flat Paper Dolls and they charged me OVER 80.00 for shipping and handling!!! They obviously make their bucks from OVERPRICED shipping!!! Shame on them!!! Beware!!!! Of auctions that rip you off!!
My Dog Blaze: Unresponsive to emails inquiring about consignment. Seems to be an Estate sale company not a auction house if you only do 1 auction a year and don't respond to inquiries about the auction
Lynn Lesch: No AC and a hot day made a short shopping trip out of it
Jose Lucio: Got good deal on 80% off all items

Ashleigh Caroline Associates Inc: what do users think?
John Preville: Thank you so much for your prompt reply and guidance in appraising and selling my works of art. Your advice and direction saved me hours of time and frustration.
My Dog Blaze: Unresponsive to emails inquiring about consignment for art. I find it interesting you responded to my review so fast yet ignore emails for days. It's arrogant and unprofessional.
Info Request: Client Review:"I want to personally thank you again for the time you gave me yesterday to discuss the painting that we are trying to attempt to authenticate as a real Monet, or not. It is particularly heartwarming that somebody of your status in the art appraisal industry will take The time to listen to me and not summarily dismiss the notion that the painting might be real. I want to let you know from the bottom of my heart, that no matter where this journey leads us, I am eternally grateful for your time, your understanding and the basic decency of how you approached this" Sincerely, J.O.
Eric Bradley: A great company! Not only does Caroline Ashleigh manage the best appraisal service in Michigan, her national network of fine art experts helped me find a very rare painting for my collection.Caroline also helped my friend whose trusts and estates firm assists families with insurance and wealth management. A client requested a living trust which would include an important and sizable fine art collection. Caroline considered all of the art collector’s needs and tailored a tiered plan involving market research, art appraisers, and advice from other art specialists across the country, so that the collection’s paintings and sculptures were not lost due to estate taxation or mismanagement. This approach saved the family money by establishing fair, art market valuations for the beneficiaries and the estate.Caroline Ashleigh Associates is based in Michigan, but her extensive knowledge of fine and decorative arts, her global auction house contacts and professionalism make her a national resource for everyone seeking help with issues related to art and personal property appraisals. Aces in my book!

Holland Consignment Shoppe & Auction House: what do users think?
erin: Honestly this store is pretty incredible but the prices are a bit outrageous.
David Moloce: Lots of goodies in this place, spanning from WWII memorabilia to vinyl records and everything in between.
Anna Lush: Probably one of the biggest antique stores in Windsor. Huge variety of items to buy: furniture, clothes, pictures, frames, unique decor, books. Open on Saturdays.
kevin meloche: Goodtimes 😁
Dimitria Papadatos: I like this store. Been here twice - both times found goodies!! Sometimes you can negotiate prices. Overall nice place to find unique items
Barbara Ann Groulx-Hannan: Cute shop. Lots of stuff to see. Decent prices
Donna Wallace: I brought my items in, I had pictures and information on all pieces. They don't keep records of what they sell. They lost, a few of my items, and I even had to go through the store, after several visits, to find my own items. I'm still missing pieces, they keep telling me I got paid for it all....but the numbers don't match. I gave them plenty of time to make this right to solve this issue. They were uncooperative and rude.I Won't be consignng any of my jewelry items ever.
James W: Visited the other day, great selection of interesting items, large place. I didn't have time to visit the basement section but I'm sure it's just as good. Very good place to find any kind of antiques and treasures. Will visit again when I have a chance.
Jason Lavigne: Being closed on Sundays is always a huge mistake I see many stores making.Makes no sense to be closed on weekends.
Ayns H.: I work here and in regards to recent reviews, we do try to welcome people and help as much as we can. I am personally sorry if anyone feels unwelcome here, as I do try to greet as many people as I can when I'm not busy. We love our customers and know half of them by name. We don't discriminate here, but since we are a consignment store, a lot of people trust us with their belongings. We are extra cautious about people who we feel unsure about and people who bring in big bags and purses because we have the responsibility of making sure everyone's items stay safe.I would also like to point out that November and December are our busiest months of the year because of the holidays so we had a lot to do with all the holiday turn over.Anyways, I hope everyone had a happy holidays and we hope to see you soon.
Gaurav Murali: Very friendly and beautiful collections. Just keep coming back for more.
Shahad Al-Haddad: Great antique store, one of the best in Windsor. Has a huge variety of vintage items for affordable prices.
J B: Best antique store ever. The lady boss is so nice and helpfull. J.B.
Brian Price: Very busy store. When you have time to dig in, there are some wonderful deals to find!
Catalina Cardenas: Was followed around the entire store while I was looking. Not sure if it's because I am a woman of colour but I will never return here and do not recommend it to anyone
Pat Fox: Very interesting, unique. Definitely will return.
Catherine Goulet: My favourite place to shop. Great variety with new stock constantly arriving.
Denise Revoy: So much to look at and many items trigger memories of your youth or times with family members who have passed onPrices are a little high on average although some rare items and treasures are to be foundThey often deal with estates so they get in some pretty interesting peicesIt is best to be on foot or public transportation when visiting because paying at the parking meter can get tricky as it is easy to loose track of time when you walk through the doorsSince descovering this place 2 weeks ago I have been back a few timesOn my first visit I didn't catch the name and no store sign on the building I made a point to get a picture of the sidewalk sign so I could also find it on the map or add it since I didn't find this store on Google's map after my 1st visit
Michael Peters: Great place to auctions love going there .
