m scott: Jay's Flower shop is located on Mack Ave in Detroit Mi on the east side . Jay was there when me and my daughter arrived and was very helpful. Jay remembered me from a previous visit. Jay was very knowledgeable about the area funeral homes and knew exactly what to do. Jay's has great customer service he helped select the perfect glower arrangement and stayed within our budget . Jay will deliver any arrangement. I have bought flowers from Jay's Flower shop in the past and will continue in the future.

I had heard of Jay's Florist,but had not personally had an opportunity to do any business with them. I was in the process of coordinating a 50th Wedding Anniversary Service with the renewal of vows ceremony. Once I received input from the client regarding her desires, we visited Jay's and he provided great customer service. Prior to the actual date, the order was reviewed to make sure that all was in order. The floral arrangements were delivered in a timely manner for the service and everything was absolutely gorgeous.

I actually initially called the florist with a complaint although I was wrong, and she could not have been more respectful. She was very kind and offered to do something about it and give me my money back even though she knew for certain she was right. Which baffled me when I later discovered that I was in fact mistaking. it was kind of a “it’s in the bag” kind of moment and I would just like to apologize and bring all my future florist needs to her business as HER WORK IS BEAUTIFUL AND HER SHE SERVICE SKILLS ARE BEAUTIFUL AS WELL!

Allen Z: I called early Saturday morning to order a personalized bouquet for a third date experience that same evening. Since I am not from the Detroit area I did not know the address of the restaurant where I needed them delivered. The wonderful staff at Ashley’s looked it up. They took my order and added a beautiful arrangement around it (I asked them to use their discretion and artistic creativity - what do I know about arranging flowers?). Then they called me to politely let me know there was a problem with my card - which we quickly resolved. Then they called to let me know the flowers were on the way, AND made sure the restaurant called to let me know they had them and that they would be on the table when we arrived. My date loved the flowers (and yes, I got a kiss at the end of the night ). So, I cannot thank Ashley’s enough for the beautiful flowers, awesome customer service, and kick a— delivery!!! If you need flowers for any occasion, call Ashley’s!!! You will be happy you did!!!

I called Teleflora to advise them of no delivery and praise God her flowers 💐 were delivered at 10:00pm. walker john: Today is Friday, May 7th and just left Ashley's Flowers in the Millender centet and I was treated very rudely by a light skinned older black woman...after waiting about 10 minutes or so for her to finish her phone call, she finally approached and said "yeah" (not can I help you but "yeah")...I said "I need a single rose." Her response "I ain't got time for that....we too busy....I got a funeral and other stuff"...and she walked away.I will NEVER go to Ashley's flowers again....and sad to say, that was my first and only visit.And this part I hate to say...I feel if I was a white man she NEVER would have treated me that way.

PEPS GIRL: THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE!!! I called to inquire about grave blankets, I needed 4. I spoke with Mike and he assured me that they had what I needed. I made my arrival to Korash on the same day that I called, and the grave blankets were made on the spot. They are beautiful, full of flowers, acorns and 2 beautiful ribbons. The price was exceptional. I had been purchasing blankets from the Eastern Market for years and each year the prices go up but they only come with ribbon and acorns, skimpy!!!! I decided to take a chance on a local staple (Korash) I am VERY pleased!!!! Will buy again!!!!

Eric Johnson: Just left this location. Absolutely HORRIBLE service, bad attitude, and no bags to place your purchase in. HORRIBLE!!!!! I'll make sure not to purchase anything else from this location, and encourage everyone else to do the same. The sad part is the majority of people that shop at this location are African American. Unfortunately, the black girl working was the employee with the attitude problem. TERRIBLE!!!!

I was there for a funeral arrangement to take with me, the pre-arranged flowers looked dead and droopy. When asked if the dead flowers could be replaced in the arrangement, the guy looked at me like I had two heads! I politely left and went down 6 mile to Amazing Flowers and was greeted warmly by Marlene who happily put together a BEAUTIFUL arrangement with fresh flowers and greenery for a fraction of the cost of the dead droopy flowers at Thrifty! The one star is there because it had to be, not because they deserved it!

I bought flowers arrangements for various occasions and simple things such as individual one flower pieces (15) for thank you gifts. This florist shop has been here for more than 45 years that my family, friends, neighbors and I have been able to count on them to always more than please. The London & Joe Show: Today was my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend and I was out getting flowers the day of. Nobody else was open without a pickup. Marva put together a loose bouquet for my girlfriend and it was absolutely beautiful and affordable. Please go here and support this local business. They look way better in person too!

I was so nervous I ordered online including delivery. I received a calling saying what u wanted wasn't available but they could make something just as good. I didn't know if I should cancel or not but the lady made me confident that it would turn out great. And they did! Thank you so much. Delivery was perfect also.

There were quite a few substitutions (which sometimes doesn't translate well into the end product, but not in this case). Ghada and her husband went above and beyond to make our wedding match my vision and it couldn't have turned out any better. Their floral arrangements in store are also stunning and always ready to go! Could not reccomend enough!
Russel DaSav: I’m very disappointed in her work, We spoken about a specific back stage wedding decor and I received a whole different decor. I also got the full package deal, I didn’t receive everything I’m very disappointed once again and I do not recommend at all. Never ever again for flowers nor wedding events. Called to ask why didn’t I get what I paid for and they told me I’m from NY they don’t service NY okay that’s totally understandable BUT I GOT MARRIED IN MI AT BARRISTER GARDEN. I’ve made sure none of my family members service from here. Because we could’ve solved this another way but they pretended to not even know me.

Zeze Karout: Decor was pretty, however I was unsatisfied with the overall service. I paid for a package that consisted of entrance decor, stage decor, flowers on the tables, corsages, and the flower girl basket. Before the wedding, I asked if I can remove the flowers that are going to be put on the tables because the price was high, I was told it would be the same price whether I remove them or keep them & that they are part of the package. However, I ended up keeping them. A few days before the wedding I was told that the corsages and the flower girl basket needed to be paid for, when originally they were part of the package & I’m supposed to get those for free. However Gaddys didn’t charge me for the corsages, and she kept saying she will let it pass this time, as if the items weren’t part of the package that I paid for…Gaddys also stated that her workers needed some time to finish the corsages since they are artificial flowers, but the day of the wedding we received flowers that weren’t artificial. Fortunately, we got to remove all her cards off the wedding tables to prevent guests from purchasing with her in the future.
