DeoMor: "And don't come back" were the exact words the owner told me at 11:07 today Tue 08.02.2023.Background:Took my slow hp laptop in on Sat 07.30.2022 for speeding up. The worker told me it would cost $60 and 10 minutes wait time. I left the store after paying in advance (my mistake) with my laptop, a $325.00 refurbished Lenovo and a for $325 after giving a 10% tip. Later that night, I tried using my hp and found it was even slower than before.I called the office# on Sunday and spoke with the owner who suggested his associate made a wrong call and asked me to take it in so he could look at it and fix the problem.He did the opposite today when I took it in. He insisted that I should have written a clear description in a similar way that "x customer" did despite me telling him that I did exactly what his worker instructed me: "write your email address on the top line so we can email you the receipt". He then started to tell me how old and outdated my laptop was and there's nothing he could do because he wasn't the one who worked on it and doesn't know what work was ordered or what work was done.I showed him the receipt with the work that was done but he went on being shifty and arrogant. By this time, I had had enough of him so I gathered my laptop and said "Have a good day". His aggressively rude reply was "and don't come back". Well, well.I'll be returning the product and requesting a full refund.

themusicman2005: A growing frustration I have with community based businesses is the attempt to maximize their profit per instance, rather than understand sales volume. Whenever I go to get something I need they try to coerce me into buying the most expensive product they have, which goes far beyond my needs. Will even lie and try to pretend that's all they have. I try my hardest to support businesses within the community but, I don't like having to spend way more money than necessary. This is the type of stuff that makes ppl rather go an spend their money with their competitors. Thinks about it, you think Best Buy, and Microcenter grew to the point their at by trying to wring ppl's pockets? No they get their customers what they NEED! When customers feel like they got a good deal they'll spread your business through word of mouth, not to mention they'll become return customers themselves. This will maximize the sales VOLUME which will get you more overall profits. So you can choose, either oversell items to a handful of customers, OR get customers what they NEED from a store right in their backyard and they go tell (on average) 30 others about your business, which will create RETURN customers and maximize your sales volume. It would be so much more convenient for us to go to a business in our backyard, but they must learn how to COMPETE!

After numerous conversations with customer service and investigations I was told my refund would be processed and it was completed and to wait a few days and I had never received it. Back and forth with the company and still nothing. Later to only find out they decided that they were not going to refund the money they promised and I'm out of a 1400 dollar camera. So i will be returning all the other accessories I purchased for the camera including expensive lenses and contacting the better business bureau. This is unacceptable how a company can be so deceitful and treat their customers so poorly. I will not be shopping with them going forward with any of my electronics. I don't like being lied to over and over.

Tim Rehahn: Picked up a TV, they came out within a few minutes. He was very friendly, helpful. Made sure to put it in so the screen side was protected. Although it was a cheap TV for the garage, he cared as if I was buying the most expensive TV or their best customer. I wish I got his name, but they need employees like him everywhere.
Josh Cornprobst: I would like to personally thank the employee who costed me over 200 dollars and most of my holiday on memorial day by misspeaking and telling me I had 60 days to return the product. So obviously when I tried to exchange it for store credit so I could get the higher wattage PSU I was not allowed to do so eventhough It was at 30 days and Ishould have still had an additional 30 days to return it. I would generally use best buy over buying online do to the fact I could get something the same day.But now that it's costing me hundreds of extra dollars do to mistakes other people made I think it's about time to start ordering everything online. It's really sad that a once reliable franchise turned to scamming the very people that would be there most valuable customers. For those of you who read this I recommend you use the wait time for companies that do not do what they did to me to you best buy is not what it once was, that's for sure..

Rockin: Possibly the worst store in existance. They do not answer the phone. After 4 hours of calling, l get through to find out they can not answer the questions about what type of fibre optic equipment i need. I call the corporate geek squad, I explain the application and ask them if they have that equipment for sale. Yes but they are not able to tell me what equipment i need. They transfer me to inhouse service, who transfer me to customer service, who transfer me back to geek squad. And round and round i go. I wanted to buy equipment from them, but they wont advise me what tp buy. I'll try some other company, but not Best Buy. You can no longer call them Best Buy, because they’re not. They are not the best, they are the worst.
Dan Erdeljac: I have started to look to purchase a Smartwatch. I look at the ones that are on display, but they never have one, which is suppose to on sale. It would be nice to see the product, and try it on .The sales associate is quick to point out that it can be ordered. Well then I have to wait for it. If I see it, maybe I don't really like it. Just a waste of time. It's just not Best Buy who does this, but many other retailers do it too. At least have one on display, and do not sell that one. One other thing to note is, if you sell a product, the consumer should be able to come to the store and ask for help on the product, even if it is a year old. Please don't give the consumer that you discontinued the product and cannot help. That's what happened to something I purchased at one time.
Curtis Loch: I bought a laptop using their fairstone line of credit. They made a mistake on the bill when I left the store originally. They then charged me again without my knowledge or consent after the fact to cover their mostake. This required me to take time out of my busy schedule to drive back to the store multiple times to sort out this issue and by the time they were able to sort out the refund, the loan term had expired and now I owe an extra $1000 in interest! BUYER BEWARE! This is how they make money off of their customers. I am sick to my stomach and hope to never do business with them again. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would.
Random 4400: I think it's a great store and i really like it, however most of the time the in store prices are just way too much, the app is a great way to get around this as you can see literally everything they sell and catch really good deals and sales, thanks to the app i was able to get an acer RTX3060 gaming laptop for a great deal (they go for over 2k$ in store but i was able to get it for 1200$) since the laptop i purchased had windows 11 i wanted to install windows 10 because i prefer it more i also managed to get a 64GB USB stick for 10$ which is a good deal, it was also on sale and thanks to the app i saw it and managed to get one before they ran out of stock, made it very simple to install windows 10 and upgrade the drive on my laptop and if it wasn't for the app it wouldn't have been possible to get the items i got at the price i did so the app is a must on my opinion.Overall great store but the app is a must as the in store prices are usually very high.

I found Christian diligently cleaning the shelves in that area and he instantly stopped what he was doing and asked if I needed help. I explained to him what I was looking for and he quickly offered a few solutions that seemed to fit well. We talked about those and some WiFi problems I have in the home, some of my preferences for a new devices to have. Christian went above and beyond what I expect from a retail associate in a big box store. He quickly identified my needs and was able to come up with a working solution that checked all the boxes and fit my budget. Great job and thanks again for the help!

He had finished the previous customer, and after the customers moved out of the line, he continued his discussion with them for several minutes before even attempting to check us out. I told him that he that he did not greeted us, nor did he ask did we find everything ok, he responded with " Well, I have to take care of my regular customers." I told him that I was a regular customer and that he was extremely unprofessional . I reported this however all customers should be treated equally when patronizing a business!
Andy T: This is the worst Best Buy around, let me tell you why. I went there with 700 dollars to spend on an iPad. I sat there for twenty minutes by the ipads waiting for someone. With employees walking around in there own world no one came up to me to sell me one, horrible experience. All I know I won’t be going back here I’ll look somewhere else for it. Who’s maintaining these employees aren’t they sales people. To ignore a customer as a sales person is crazy. As a salesman myself this is a bad look. Do your job or find another and the manager needs to be reprimanded for this behavior.

He also said they haven't had any for months!SOOO... call the store to verify it is actually in stock BEFORE driving there!

Jay Honhart: Went into the Westland store today to purchase a Kenwood Touchscreen Car Stereo, Installation Kit, Steering Wheel Control Unit, Warranty and Best Buy Installation Service....Well over $600 worth of products and services....I Had been reviewing everything on their website earlier today, figured I'd go buy everything and have it installed.The bays were empty, meaning they could've gotten me right in. Walked around the car stereo department for over 20 minutes checking out the car stereo equipment. Noone felt like assisting me/us, they would much rather stand around and play on their cell phones and huddle in a small circle and talk about what they did last night. 🤷🏼‍♂️Oh well, you're not getting my frickin business....Frickin ridiculous.... In their eyes, it's only $600, I'm just a pee on. Walked all the way up to the customer service desk to get a pricing. Girl was straight rude and accused me of opening the box of the radio i was looking at when i found it on the "open box shelf ". She wanted to argue where i found the radio. I asked to look at the product to verify all the wiring was there. She acted like i was trying to steal the radio and wouldn't give it back to me. Wanted to call a manager over to discuss...instead of calling management she decided to help other customer while she basically pushed me off to the side. i walked out and spent my money elsewhere. i will not be back . Period

Eric Erdman: These guys are beyond what good business is made of. I was browsing the web for laptops for weeks and I wish I would have just been at this store speaking to Maher instead. On a pretty tight and low budget, Maher made me feel like I was with a good friend trying to pick out a laptop. By far the most comforting, honest & respectful customer service I have seen in so so long. Explained in great detail and taught me so much about laptops and was happy to do it too!! I could not be happier with my laptop and a great deal with a slick warranty, original charger and the best service. Maher even hooked me up with a case as he noticed that I was riding a bike home from the store. Stand up gentlemen here. I cant wait to go back and get a phone!!

Plymouth's cost was half the price of either chain's quotes.They let me keep my laptop in case I needed to pull something off for work, until the part came in.They told me every step and option available to me.When I got the computer back it worked perfectly.Almost a week later, the guy I talked to remembered me by name, and what was being done without me saying anything.They want your business and will earn it.I will recommend to everyone I know who needs a fix.

When I had another issue with my gaming PC, Maher worked diligently and thoroughly on my computer. I was kept informed throughout the whole deal and given options when possible. He did a lot of work and put in longer hours into figuring out the problem when it would have been much easier to just tell me I needed new parts which would have cost me way more, and I still got my PC back in a short time! They are very kind when answering questions and explaining things. The prices were very reasonable and fair. I really appreciate this place and we're lucky to have them around!

My son is 6 and has being saving every little dollar he had to save for an iPhone of his own. Well, after searching Craigslist I found this place. Never knew it exists and I ride past it every time I’m headed to produce my radio shows. I text the number provided and my man Malek was personable from the start. I told him what I needed for my son to enjoy Roblox. For $60 he sold me an iPhone 6s 128gb with a brand new charger and two cases. This is the kicker. I got home to set it up and it kept dying. He was honest and told me it was original battery and it’s probably fried. He told me I could come back Monday in which I agreed to. However I wasn’t happy that my son spent money and couldn’t enjoy what he spent his money on. I showed up just minutes before they closed after just leaving the store less than hour ago. With no hesitation he took that phone to the back and said wait in the car and he got me. He happily stayed overtime to repair it. Not only did he fix replace a brand new apple battery and hand deliver red it back to me, he provided me with a personal number to him for any problems or future business needed. What I will say Is you definitely need to hit this spot. Most honest and trustworthy salesman I’ve ever encountered. They have phones, tvs, computers, laptops and so much more. Just told my pops to go up here for his repair and I recommend y’all do the same. I’m in need of a computer so I’ll be back in a week.PS. This all was today!!!!!!Great Business
