Childtime of Detroit: what do users think?
cassie nelligan: Was only going to enroll my child here because a. Bright horizons was full , and b. I could walk to this location from my house. I called for a tour and asked if my child’s age group was full. Customer service rep assured me that their was space. My husband and I went up there for the tour. This is NO free parking . We parked at the meter. We went in and I told them I was their for a tour. The worker told me their would be no room for a 1 year old til SEPTEMBER. I told her that they told me their was room over the phone. She said they do that so you will come in for the tour to promote their business. Oh no. What a waste of time.
Sharday Barnett: They are very terrible! They say they accept DHS but do not wanna go through the work My child was kicked out prior to her already missing a month before because they kept saying her hours/payments weren’t approved when actually were. I asked administrator India to call my worker so she can verify that my baby was approved she said “no that’s not they job”, and jus kicked my child out of the program.
Amna Shaikh: My toddler was bit and beaten multiple times by another kid while the teacher did not intervene timely. He had bite marks on his arm. When we brought up this issue to director Ms. Tamika Spence, she said they are training teachers. The director Ms. Tamika did not do anything. I became vigilant and start keeping an eye on live videos and saw physical harassment on live videos aswell. This harassment continued and I would see bruising at several occasions on him to the point that I took him out of childtime detroit NCO.
Camille Sanders: Critical:Professionalism,Reliability
Teusdae Paxton: I love this place. So much so that even though I need to, I wont pull my child out. They love it, I love the app, the teachers are honest about my childs behavior but so sweet and caring. I'm so appreciative of all they do for her.
Melissa Fowlkes: If you haven't been to this location, please check out the new management team. This location is cute, cozy and NAEYC accredited. If you are looking for a great child care location, you must check out Childtime of Detroit-New Center.
Jackie Boesman: While I have only been using Childtime for a couple of days now, I am blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. Their new Director, Sydney, is truly special. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate our special circumstances without hesitation. Also, their Brightwheel app allows the staff to give you updates and photos of your baby all day long, which makes being away from them a bit easier. You really don't know how hard it is to drop your baby off at daycare until you do, and the staff at Childtime has made the transition much more bareable.
M Lewis Bass: Nice looking place. Kids seem to love it.
aaliyah jones: I had an interview there and my daughter was sick so I called to let them know and me. Tamika was very rude and didn't want to even try to reschedule me and hung up on me. I will not send my daughter there
Linda Ornsby: Great facility and great teachers. My daughter attended the W Grand Blvd location from the age of 4 months - 3 years old. My daughter learned so much while at childtime that teachers at her new school were impressed that she new her shapes, colors, letters, and how to spell her name. I can only speak at this location, but this place is much more than a baby sitting service. One thing that I love is that they implemented a mobile app which gives us updates, throughout the day, as to what our child was currently doing, pictures of our child in action, and over all updates as to what's planned for the rest of the week, etc. Nothing more brightens my day at work than getting a notification with a picture of my child going down the slide at recess. Management did a very good job at making sure all parents were aware of what was going on at the center. All of the instructors are caring and nurturing. You are in good hands with the staff at the W Grand Blvd location.
Karie Clayton: My daughter attended a Child time while we lived in Las Vegas, NV. I was so sad to leave them when we relocated to Michigan, however, while searching for daycare's-I found a Child time by my employer. I know she is in good hands at daycare, where she is loved, learning, and interacting with other children. I would recommend Child time to everyone as it is such a great educational based daycare who also loved my child as if she were their own.
Takera Lawery: The staff is wonderful and Ms. Shilah is the best

Precious Steps Childcare: what do users think?
Ruby Davis: I absolutely love Precious Steps! My son started when he was 2 he is now 5 and they gave him the best little graduation ever with the cap and gown and all !!! , he was born with Poland syndrome, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Ms Debra and her staff!! They really prepared him for Big kid’s school , she’s a true believer and the definition of “it takes a village to raise a child” , .. it’s really the best place for a child to be in early learning but not only learning Precious Steps Put the CARE in Childcare and Daycare you feel the warmth and love soon as you walk through the door. I Give it 100 stars !!
Tonya Vereen: Positive:ProfessionalismI absolutely love Precious Steps Daycare. My son started attending when he was 9 weeks and he just turned 4. We’ve had an amazing experience there. This is not just a “babysitter”. The children learn and are challenged daily. I highly recommend Precious Steps!!

Bright Horizons at Midtown Detroit: what do users think?
Run Jewels: Needs better hours since lives depend on it
Kelsey Peterson: We have been extremely happy with Bright Horizons. Our son has moved through the infant, transition, toddler, and now young preschool rooms, and we have found all of the teachers to be supportive, engaged, and caring. The admin is very responsive and helpful. The location/drop-off/pick-up is also very convenient - it's right off the Lodge and has a dedicated parking lot, which is hard to find in Detroit! Love the pics and descriptions they post on the app too.
Anna Gladstone: They are now Bright Horizons at Midtown Detroit, open to the public. My 16 month old has been going there for almost a year now and he loves it so much! The director Caitlin is so helpful and responsive to parents, they take such good care of our kids and best of all, my son loves it so much!
Mary Ann T: I absolutely LOVE Henry Ford Kids! My son started there when he was just 6 weeks old and is now in Preschool. I am not sure who loves HF Kids more him or me! I work at the hospital and when I drop him off I know that he is well cared for by a professional and caring staff. I promise you that you love HF Kids as much as we do. Not only is it a loving and nurturing environment but clean and safe. The Outdoor play area is Outstanding. All the meals are healthy with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. And I their curriculum focus is AWESOME as well. How wonderful it to have an employer to recognize that their employees need a quality, safe, place to entrust their children and also support the community by opening the daycare up to families in the area as well. Way to GO Henry Ford Kids and Henry Ford.
Kristin Karner: This is a hidden gem in the midtown Detroit neighborhood, open to the public, not just Henry Ford Hospital employees. My daughter is about to turn one and she has been going since she was three months old. She has absolutely thrived in this loving, nurturing, clean, safe and educational environment. The teachers are wonderful and communicate so well with the parents in meeting your personal needs for food, schedules and philosophy on how to raise your child. I walked into the classroom the other day (you can drop in any time) and the older infants were doing a science experiment with baking soda, vinegar and food coloring (the old volcano experiment). How cool is that?! It was carefully supervised, but they are always doing cool stuff like this: the sensory table full of miniature squashes and pumpkins and shredded paper, the bubble machine, reading stories, singing songs with Ms. Maria, taking a buggy ride outside (there is an adorable six seat buggy for the babies), the turtle pond full of balls, I could go on… This is a really special place. I'm so glad I found it. They also make life easy for parents by offering a breakfast, hot lunch and two snacks. They have great hours as well, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. You simply can't beat it.
Michelle J: We LOVE HF Kids! I work at Henry Ford BUT the center is open to the greater community. We have been at HF Kids since 2010 and could not be happier with the care. My older daughter started there and as she was graduating her younger sister came along and is there now. This is a true gem of Detroit. The teachers are loving and care for the children as if they were their own. The facilities are clean and well-kept and I sincerely appreciate being able to leave my precious child at a facility that I feel she is safe at. My children have both thrived at HF Kids. My older daughter, who is now almost 7, still loves to come back and visit to see her old teachers. The educational curriculum is excellent. We could not be happier with the care our children have received at HF Kids!
Jill-Morgan Aubert: My older son was enrolled in the kindergarten prep class last summer and my 2 year old is currently enrolled. We've been at the center for over a year and love it. It's a warm, loving environment with a wonderful director at the helm that I've known for years. The outdoor space is amazing, best I've seen at any daycare in Detroit. It's open to the public, not just Henry Ford Hospital employees.
Amy Meyersieck: A superb daycare center. My daughter attended from age 6-1/2 weeks until 5-1/2 years and my son is a current student, having started at age 9 weeks. The teachers are loving, considerate, creative, and are partners with the parents. The curriculum encourages independence (serving and feeding themselves), sharing, expressing themselves (both creatively and in conflict situations). The center is calming and the playground is clean and fun. I highly recommend this daycare.

Bright Horizons: what do users think?
Chantel Jarmon: Unprofessional, and poor communication.
Amanda Van Huis: We love this daycare and have been taking our child there since he was an infant. Caring staff and the best teachers.
Milana King: We love our Bright Horizons experience for our toddler! The teachers are amazing.
Amelia Hardoin: Literally the most frustrating experience of my LIFE! Promised MULTIPLE times that my kids would be in the daycare program just to call the month of to be ignored for the ENTIRE month, and then told at the end of the month they dont have the room but they will in this next month. Continue this process until you are ready to rip your hair out! I paid $100 to be on this wait list just to have it CONFIRMED that people joining the wait list AFTER me were getting spots. Unacceptable, having been on the wait list for almost TWO years now?? NOT WORTH IT! Find better care elsewhere. I have finally pulled my children from the wait list, and will be seeking better care.... If they are THAT busy that they can just SKIP people on the wait list for TWO years they are NOT taking good care of your children. There is NO way.
Character Asmr girl: False hope fake smiles talk to you all sweet then waste your time around kids like you'll get hired. Bs pay to deal with kids dodged a bullet.
Dennis Perry: This is an amazing facility and the staff are second to none. There is an app that accompanies the program and you receive constant updates regarding your child. Everyone I have interacted with has been polite and professional. The staff is also very personable, everyone remembers my daughter and me by name which is impressive due to the amount of people enrolled. The group sizes are small ensuring your child has individual attention.I would like to get a special shout out to MaRiesha who is my daughter's primary teacher. She has been wonderful to work with.
Queen JAH: Staff are very unprofessional here and the managers cant run their center professionally.
Kayla Larimore: Great care for my daughter!
Amanda M: Not open to the public. This is an employees only daycare.
