Timothy Draughan: No one is knowledgeable of the products that's there and what they're used for when you do talk to someone they ask you about stuff that you're not even asking about to try to sell other things that's not related to the items that you come there for. They always try to confuse you, instead of just giving you the items that you asked for. And for a bunch of men that certified to do plumbing or plumbing knowledgeable the only one that is knowledgeable and that is capable of helping you with knowing everything is a lady that's there and she's been there twice out of the three times that I've visited this store.

I will continue up to this location as long as Eric Gatewood is employed at this location . He deserve a raise great job all tens across the board.

Faucets and fixtures just appeared effortlessly and were exactly what we wanted. She definitely knows her stuff and is so easy to work with. It was worth the trip from the other side of town.

Lynn Reed: We were so glad to be able to visit a showroom and actually sit in the different types and sizes of walk-in tub available. Bud and the other people there were very helpful in our decision-making process, and we ended up with a tub that works for all of us ranging in size from over 6' tall and 280lbs to 5' tall and 85lbs.The tub we were replacing had a larger footprint than the new walk-in tub, so the installers had to get creative to fill in the space. We got the cultured marble for the walls behind the tub, and our installers Austin and Jeff figured out a few different ways to handle filling in the extra space and let us choose the way we preferred. It turned out really well with spacious ledges for holding towels, a beverage, candles or whatever else we want to have on hand for our bath!After his first bath, my husband came out wide-eyed, saying that not only did he not come anywhere close to falling getting out of the tub (like he did with our old one) but the whole experience left him relaxed instead of exhausted! Well worth the price, which was lower than we would have paid to any of the companies that send out the mailers.

Edward Adams: Stay away from these people. They will sell you a tub at a reasonable price. They do not stand by the manufacturer warranty at all. If anything goes wrong, and it did for our walk in tub after a year, you are on your own. They will not even return phone calls.Update: Mr. Bud Olejniczak, owner, replied below to my review a year later. We worked with Mr. Olejniczak to purchase the tub. I made many attempts to contact him trying to get his help in fixing the damaged, warrantied tub (photo attached). Should be a pretty straight forward request. He avoided all of my calls. I had to pretend to be a new customer to get Mr. Olejniczak on the phone and even then he did nothing to resolve the problem. American Tubs is a great tub. I called their corporate headquarters to get help, they were very responsive and sent a replacement handle. I repaired the tub myself which was complicated by the fact that I had to drill into the tub to attach the new handle. At no time did Mr. Olejniczak help in the process or offer to install the handle. I am very pleased to read that Mr. Olejniczak pledges to be responsive in the future and will personally 'ensure that any issues are taken care of'. That is wonderful. He writes that he doesn't 'know what I can do to try and make this right'. A letter would be nice acknowledging the error and putting in writing his commitment to his warranty. Every business can make mistakes. Everything about working with his business was normal and helpful until trouble happened.

John Brown: I got a walk-in tub for my elderly Mother who recently moved in with us. I find I am enjoying soaking in the tub as much as she does. I love the relaxing massage I get from the jets. They did all the work and I just relax and enjoy it.

Marcella Johnson: Scott was very evasive about pricing and told me to go somewhere else. I realize that you can't get an exact price without someone coming out for measurements. However the more questions that I had for Scott the more his CLASS 1 WALK IN SHOWER Detail changed. In the beginning it was $8500 then $10000 then $12000. Then he stated that it would be an up charge for color granite tile in class 1. He said that he would be able to give an estimate if I would email him photos of my bath and I told him that I have pictures on my phone at this moment but he wasn't interested. I don't believe that he want Detroit residents business. Considering that my pipes are copper and not gavinized which he kept saying not listening. So I took his advice going somewhere ELSE

Hawkeye Haugh: I had a great experience choosing a sink. Lori Weber was beyond helpful, not pushy, and very friendly. I called with questions regarding several sinks and she spent 10 minutes on the phone with me. I visited the store several times (couldn’t decide on a color) and Lori was always helpful and I never left feeling rushed to decide or rushed to leave when it was clear I still couldn’t decide. Lori even consulted with Angel to help me make a decision. If you are very indecisive, don’t like feeling rushed, and want a friendly person ask for Lori—she goes above and beyond!

Kathleen Bartlome: We are starting a bath remodel next month and I was having difficulty finding a specific Kohler valve and trim plate in the finish I needed as everything was out of stock. I contacted the closest Kohler Signature store to me (I live in Ohio) and it was in Birmingham, MI. I am so glad I did!! The person who answered the phone, Angel Buckens, was so helpful and she found the type of valve and trim plate I wanted and helped me pick out the other pieces that I needed to completely the shower in the matte black finishes that are so hard to find. I highly recommend this store and the sales/designers that work there. They know their business. Can't wait for my shower to get started and finished. Next week I will be contacting her to figure out the faucets for our vanity and freestanding tub!!

Beth Baergen: Our designer was Lori Weber. Lori was great--highly professional and responsive to our needs and concerns, in person and on the phone. When our brushed bronze hand shower wand was back-ordered indefinitely, in the midst of oiur remodel, she searched the country for a substitute, and found the ONLY brushed bronze shower wand available that would work in our bathroom! We had it in a week, just in the nick of time to finish the remodel. The other people at the store were also very kind and professional, checking on the status of back ordered items (even during a power outage and working from a coffee shop!) and letting us know the estimated date we would receive the items. Thanks Lori and Kohler Signature! We love our new bathroom!

She was helping me source a very difficult part to get a hold of and she immediately jumped into action by searching for this part, we briefly discussed a “plan b” incase it couldn’t be located. Lori even called kohler directly to confirm it would work with my current project, potentially saving me hundreds of dollars in product and wasted time.Ultimately we chose a part (recommend by Lori) that ended up being extremely similar to the original part I spent weeks looking for.If it wasn’t for her patience and knowledge I’d still be searching.The final thing I would like to mention is even after the order was placed Lori included such a kind note with my order confirmation, I truly believe she deserves to be recognized for the amazing experience she provided.-Heather Sitek-Farajian

Blair M: I would like to share the amazing customer experience my wife and I had this past Tuesday with Lori W at the Kohler Signature Store in Birmingham Michigan. Over 17 years ago I had installed all Kohler fixtures and faucets when I built my home. In that time, up to now we only had a problem with a kitchen faucet "which Kohler replaced over the phone". This time one of our sink faucet handles broke. It is a decorative special handle with a porcelain insert. We had never been to the store before and quite honestly didn't think they could help us with such an old item, not to mention a small item. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. Lori W greeted us when we arrived and right away made us feel like we were their best customer. She spent at least 1-2 hours researching the exact part number of our faucet handle and finally found it with the help of a customer service person at Kohler that she contacted. To top it off, the part had a 15% discount. :-)I cannot express how thankful we are to Lori W for her amazing customer service. She never gave up until she achieved a good result for us. That's the kind of person I want on my team. Her actions meant more to us than the faucet handle, I just haven't experienced this level of help since I can remember.

Diane Raby: My husband and I are re-doing our Master Bath and Guest Bath. We decided to go to the KOHLER store in Birmingham, MI. This store is absolutley beautiful! The staff was so professional and personable we worked directly with Lori Weber. She is so knowledgeable and helpful and stayed with us even after store hours to complete our order. We loved the fact that it was a one stop shop and that we were able to see everything in person as opposed to shopping online. JIM: Purchased a Kohler Veil toilet. It will not flush sanitary waste until after three or four attempts. Store does not back up the products they sell and dump your problem off on kohler customer service. It has taken 4 months to get a tech out. Ordering a replacement flush component but said he doesn’t even know if and when he will be back. Additionally we ordered fixtures for 3 bathrooms and kitchen remodel. Shipment was received but parts were missing, wrong fixture and the tub jet pump did not work. We had to pay for reshaping costs. I def do not recommend buying from this place.

Christian Hubbell: I usually prefer shopping on Kohler's website but one item I needed wasn't in stock and was directed to contact a signature store. The staff was extremely helpful and was able to locate and order items I wasn't able to get otherwise and for a better price. I can't recommend this store enough to everyone when doing any kitchen or bath project.

Matt Golden: I was very confused about what I wanted to do in my new kitchen. I was all over the place and don’t always have the best taste. My first thought was to go to a big box store, but I knew I needed more help than you get there. I decided to check out the Kohler store, because I have passed it many times. The store is beautiful. Upon walking in I was greeted by Lori and told she was available to help with any questions on products or design help. I browsed a bit and then asked her some things. She was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. She helped me pick out all the right products. Thanks to her and the Kohler store my kitchen is beautiful and perfect. Carol Brewer: I was so pleasantly surprised when I came to look for help with a bathroom project. The showroom is huge with all sorts of beautiful tubs, lighting, sinks and faucets galore. Paula was so knowledgeable and even let me sit in a deep soaker tub to see if I could get out of it. No pressure. I was on my way in an hour with everything I needed to redo my bathroom! Received a call from a customer who pre-purchased $10,000 in Rohl faucets and he has not received even one customer service call or update from either Ferguson or Rohl in Months. I feel they can't answer any questions and they are afraid to contact him.This business a lack luster at customer service and delivery, go somewhere else and save the headache.

Sharon Cislo: Great experience shopping for fixtures/tub/toilet/sink for our bathroom remodel, until you need help with a return and reorder. We purchased our items in February but, due to Covid, our bathroom remodel didn’t start until July.We contacted our saleslady because the original pedestal sink we ordered was too big. We would like to return it, and reorder a smaller one. She sent us an email of 4 different options, all of which were too big. After leaving several messages for her to call us back, sadly, I had to contact the store manager just to get a call back from her to resolve our issue. Once she called us back, we picked out a new pedestal sink with her stating the sink was in a Kentucky warehouse and would take no more than 5 business days to ship to the Troy warehouse. (That nonsense of the initial call to her, to ordering a new sink took 8 days). In the email she sent us with our new receipt, she stated she would contact us once the sink came in, to set up a delivery date.Two weeks later I call Fergusons to check on the status of the pedestal sink only to be told that yes, it was in, sitting in the warehouse.By the time the sink was delivered and installed, we figured, due to the incompetence of our saleslady by not returning our calls, or calling us when the sink came in, she delayed the completion of our bathroom by 2 ½ weeks.Dealing with another employee to get a refund for the original pedestal sink we purchased is another story.If you love added stress/anxiety and have the patience of Jobe, shop Fergusons of Troy.
