Uncle Scroge: We attended an MS Yoga Event with about two or three hundred other people. Dinner was provided. They did a great job considering they had to feed us all within a short amount of time. I was impressed!

Cedric Robinson: Came to this hotel on May 30th around 10:30 pm. I booked through a 3rd party and for some reason they booked a handicap accessible room by mistake, I asked the woman to change the reservation for me and it just spiraled out if control from there. I was accused of harassing the woman behind the counter because I asked for her name, she was rude, short tempered, and talking on the phone with her son when I arrived. She called the police on me and I waited for them, they showed up heard my side of the story and my room was changed but it took the Southfield PD being called for that to happen. I want to know who hired and trained this employee, I don't know her name but someone should review the cameras from this day. I may even seek legal counsel because I felt threatened when she said she would call police on me for asking for my room to be changed.

Rachel D: Literally the worst. Filthy rooms. Not just older rooms like expected based on the age of the hotel, but hairs left in the shower, carpets are sticky and linens stained. Front desk and 800# did nothing when contacted. Was not expecting 4 stars, but with a name like Radisson I assumed they would have some cleaning and customer service standards.

Cindy Spencer: Ivan is amazing! Talk about going above and beyond! It feels like a breakfast at a five star restaurant! He is so helpful and friendly. We loved his waffles!I highly highly recommend staying here for the breakfast ran by Ivan! It'll make your stay in Michigan friendly from the moment you get up!Food & drinks: Breakfast was included and Ivan made it amazing!

Thomas Guyton: From Carol---- It's taken me a little while to wrap my mind and emotions around authoring this review because it was such a conflicting and disporportionate experience. Update! One week since I wrote this review and still no follow-up. Horrible!!I worked with Jutta from Jan.-April to plan a large surprise party. She was responsive, congenial, professional; and even accommodated a room upgrade based on the party size etc. She was on-site for the first hour or so on the date of the event. After this, my experience -considering that this was a relatively high 5 figure plus event-went downhill fast.Carole-- my banquet manager for the night--- was rude and made me feel like I was an utter annoyance and inconvenience. I asked a simple question about dessert; Carole asked me not to bother her servers. She rudely told me that the: 'kids meal placeholders we're not in place' (kids move things); and that I should be more aware of my contract. These are only samplings...I was spending a lot of money and got rude pushback with respect to simple questions designed to help accommodate my guests. The food was bland and almost cold (they would not let me taste test in advance). I almost cried when I saw all of the 1/3 eaten plates being discarded by the servers. I texted Jutta about this on April 9th. I received a text apology with no escalated follow-up or remediation gestures. Period!On the upside, I must pause to mention that my two bartenders were awesome.Several guests booked rooms for the night, including myself. The rooms weren't very clean and the glass soap holder fell on my daughter's foot during her shower (we have pics). We called the front desk to ask for more soap, towels and a band aid; we were told:"you're gonna have to come get that stuff yourself!"Overall, my upfront/planning experiences with Jutta left me anticipating a much different outcome. I'm deeply hurt by this extremely expensive and disappointing experience! BTW, I've sent Jutta 2 unanswered texts post-payment and event night. I feel like they got the big bucks from me and moved on...Shame on this venue! Think real hard about trusting them with your once-in-a-lifetime significant events!

Pier Alessandro Agazzani: Business travel in Detroit,Room is big and with all needs, even if it's not so "new" and modern.Service is good, ready 24h and fast responding on every needs. Breakfast is complete and staff people extremely kind.Position is not the best one, too close to an important main road with lot of traffic

MJ Hapa: The staff was friendly, room was clean, bed comfortable, and shower had hot water. But that's it. Breakfast wasn't included with the price they charge, the facilities are showing wear and tear, heading towards shabbiness. It's disappointing to see major hotel chains go downhill, chasing short-term profits instead of investing in repairs and maintenance.There is no bathtub, shower only. The hotel provided shampoo, rinse, and soap in little travel tubes. Coffee and a coffee maker were also provided. That coffee wasn't bad, actually.The orange water they offered in the lobby was quite nice, but the coffee is horrible. Blech. I should've gone with the cheap teabag they had.Location-wise, it's less than a 30-minute drive to the Detroit airport, which was convenient.I chose to stay here simply because Priceline gave me a deal after renting a car, and the reviews weren't too terrible, compared to the cheaper motels nearby. I didn't feel unsafe staying at Radisson.I also got a nice view of a sea of tree tops from a higher floor. Parking was free, too.

Maggie Ullrich: I received a text to ask how my visit was , and I explain that the first night was unacceptable, and no follow up was provided to find a solution.There was a significant gap between my room and the conjoined room. The people in the conjoined room came in around 4:30am and their talking made is sound like someone was in the room with me. They have every right to talk at night but there was no sound proof. I live in NYC and understand standard sound proofing but it was non-existent at this hotel. This is in addition to the fact that you could hear anyone who was outside of your door in the hall, which the wedding party at 2am woke us up.Furthermore the room was dirty; stains on the sheets, dirty paper towels left in the bathroom, wet floor when we arrived, and in the bathroom the wall had a hole from water damage. Water was warm at best when all the way up. I took this hotel because it was rated well but I wouldn't even give this a 2 star review other than your staff was friendly.

Robin Ratliff: The pink palace visit is what our 5 night stay here is now referred to. Staff was helpful and some were friendly. Rooms were comfortable, clean and perfect for our needs. They were equipped with a fridge. I liked that you had to use your key to enter the building felt more secure. The decor was mostly an art gallery style collection of older automobiles. Indoor pool area (we didn't use) but looks comfortable and well maintained. Overall a nice place I really didn't have any issues with anything, and enjoyed our time there.

Lee Draper: Stayed just the 1 night here I did find the room not very fresh and you can’t open any windows so put the a/c to freshen up the air.It’s a big complex they have with pool hot tub which I didn’t find very warm a dry sauna which worked well used for a while then carried on they did do breakfast but unfortanetly I had to leave before it was served.All in all a good experience will make sure I return again.

CHARESE TYLER: Nice clean rooms! Staff is Amazing. All I could smell when I walked inside the hotel however was a very strong smell of marijuana. Pool area was awesome, and breakfast was amazing! Love the antique look the hotel gives. It’s also very easy to get lost in here if you’ve never been here before. Stayed 2 nights and don’t remember house keeping coming around… however, I was in and out, running around all day on my stay. Would return! Would recommend! I believe the walls are Sound Proof also! Good first time experience.

Not allowed inside of the WESTIN or the Starbucks the Supervisor Mr. Christopher Hiltycalled the police on me thinking that I was gonna get in-trapment with Detroit Police Officers, being unorthodox with me being a Black African American Citizen that lives 1 1/2 block away from this location. And the Barista said that I brought in TAROT CARDS. I do not do TAROT CARDS READINGS /I'm NOT a Reader.I do not discriminate against people who do TAROT Cards Readings I am working on a ART PROJECT and The Barista at This Starbucks discriminated against Me, Saying I'm READING based on the fact that she calls my ART PROJECT TAROT CARDS. I needed to have something printed in color and Dalano was happy to do that for me. Especially when he had to go to the other side of the building to print what I needed. He went out of his way to help me and that meant a lot. I hope he reads this because he is very appreciated.

Greg Hack: Safety: The valet service was very courteous and welcoming.Food & drinks: My family attended a wedding reception for my daughter's sister in law (my daughter was a bridesmaid). We had a choice of prime rib, chicken or ravioli. I had the prime rib, which was the best I have ever had! It was thick as a delmonico steak and so tender, you could cut it with a butter knife. My wife and son had the stuffed chicken, which they said was very good. The salads had a delicious dressing of cherries and walnuts i.e. Michigan salad. The bartenders, servers very quick and friendly.Noteworthy details: The place is beautiful! It was just a skip and a hop from St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where the wedding mass,took place.
