While there are MoGo racks of rental bikes around the city, I find them incredibly heavy and uncomfortable to ride. This shop rents bikes right along the riverwalk near the Merry-Go-Round.I went there to buy a bike today. They did not have a big selection, but it only takes one right? I love my new cruiser, and they were kind enough to assemble it within 2 hours. This is a local shop with kind people. I highly recommend it!

Jeff Duperon: I had booked 2 days before the tour and then found I had to cancel due to the chaos in the airline industry causing my flight to be significantly delayed. I let them know as soon as I knew (the night before). They would not even entertain transferring my payment to a future tour giving a pat BS answer of having to pre-arrange the guide for the tour that already had 8 participants and was not likely to sell out because I booked the tour 2 days before the tour. They got this money, but will never get another dollar from me.

We all had a great time. Better than I expected. I will try this again but I will be sitting on the bench. The other seats are actual wide bike seats. The ride is 2 hours so keep that in mind.

k: Wonderful bike store ran by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. After getting hit by a car on my ebike, which is a different brand, Carl and Jason were very helpful in me getting a plan together, contacting the other party for insurance information, and ultimately, repairing my bike in less than a week. The only reason they couldn't do it sooner is we were waiting on parts, but as soon as the parts came in, it was a same day fix.Whether you're a biker already or someone looking to get into it, I cannot recommend this store enough for the culture, experience, and costs they offer. At this point I consider the staff my friends, and am happy to stop throughout the month. In the spring and summer they host high-profile events that connect and strengthen the biking community of Detroit.

Keya: the customer service here is atrocious. first off Jason didn't tell me they don't have the items I reserved in stock. after wasting a drive only because he said the items were being held, only to find they were COMPLETELY not at all the same items. how two different models can have the same stock number is beyond me. and now the shop refuses to practice the simple courtesy of returning one simple phone call despite saying they will in 10 minutes every time they answer. apparently they exist in some alternate reality where time doesn't exist and don't expect their words to carry any value whatsoever.

Eric Martin: I think the bikes are too expensive even though they seem to be good quality electric bikes. Still don't think they're worth that much I checked them all the lowest prices was from $1,500 up till $6,,000 and something dollars. However I like and recommend to everybody who rides bikes, there their anti-flat protection called armor which goes inside the tire and over the inner tube I felt inside of it with my fingers and its pretty thick in the middle in 15 to 17 mm if I remember right which feels thick enough to me to prevent most or all things one may run over from giving one a flat. When I get the money I plan on going in and getting some for my bike. Like they're thick strong made bike baskets too. They're stronger than the ones I have on mine and are better for me or anyone who carries groceries in there baskets like me. I think I'll get one of their baskets too when I get the money. I don't like that none or most of their e-bikes a lot of the type but allow you to go without pedaling.

Nat Zorach: I brought my bike in for repair and I'm still having the same issues, so I'm a bit annoyed as it means I now have to bring it the whole way back and get more expensive parts replaced, even though the mechanic assured me nothing was wrong with the rear cassette (chain skipping constantly on higher gears). Also, they charged $42 for "parts" for a chain even though I have the maintenance plan for my bike. A bike chain is like $15 or $20 tops? I'm not sure how this works. Anyway I'll update if I have any more experiences. They have a great selection of stuff here overall. I don't have generally good feelings about ACF, but this spot delivers in the retail experience overall.
