Aaron Ghee: We just went there and something very unfortunate happened there, we got two drinks, each $13 and when we got our bill, they included 20% “gratitude” tip, and I was ok, I signed the bill for $33.22 and we were fine until I saw that they charged my credit card for $42. I called my credit card company and they said I probably signed the bill for $42 or I tip them higher that 20% but none of them happens. So anyway $9 is nothing but still didn’t get it why they overcharged my account.
Mr. Nice Guy: In their own words, it's a dive Tiki bar with overpriced cocktails.

Brooke: This place is cute inside. The service is eh. There’s not a lot of seating so be prepared to not be able to sit somewhere. The “menu drinks” are extremely sugary and mostly filled with ice. No kidding my drink took me about 4 sips. I probably wouldn’t go back.

Esha Sohail: Customer service was nonexistent. Bartenders took forever to even acknowledge us and we wanted to order more drinks and they never checked in, in the 1.5 hours we were there! Waited so long for our bill and eventually had to go ask for it. They had no idea where we were seated (go figure) and had to ask another bartender what we ordered. He then asked us again if we were at the table in the corner and gave me the bill. My bill was $27. He ran my card and handed back a second receipt with 20% added gratuity that I never consented to nor was it presented to me originally that way. Drinks aren't worth it. Not going back again.
Jim Siterlet: Cool bar. I bought a specialty drink and it was really gross. Service wasn’t great even though there were plenty of employees. I might go back. I would just order a beer though.

Keith Becker - Becker Home Advisors: The Temple Bar...we love this place. It is not flashy on the outside, but dont let that stop you. This is a great place to meet before or after a game at LCA or dinner at Basan. You will likely run into some locals who tend to frequent the place.The staff is always friendly and they pour a good drink. They usually have a nice selection of regular and craft beers and have Short Local Light on tap.It's definitely worth stopping in for a drink or 3...enjoy.FYI, they don't serve food, so plan accordingly.

Perry Columbus: Best and most famous dive bar in Detroit. This place has been family owned for 100 years. It's very welcoming to whoever shows up. Straight, Gay, young, old weird or cool everyone hangs out here! No food besides chips. Its a block away from Little Caesar's Arena and across the street from The Masonic Temple (hence the name) so its perfect for a pre or post show round or two.
