Detroit Zoo Butterfly Garden: what do users think?
Pa Houa: Butterfly Garden is in construction, so it is temporarily close.Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Brian D: January 2023 - first stop at the zoo from my 3 daughters. We love this place. We got to see them take butterflies out behind the glass and onto the tree (picture). The woman said they are wet, and could not hear why. However, she said they will dry off and then fly. It was really cool. The next room has some birds. Before you go into the butterfly room, there is usually a globe and other items. I was told sometime this year, the stuff should be back. Maybe some new things.
Alice Wilson: I love it here. The butterfly exhibit is my favorite place to be! I really love the penguins too!!!
ed arseneault: Always a favorite, either winding the tropical fauna populated by a variety of birds or visiting the butterflies, its a relaxing and endearing experience.
Cake S: Loved the butterfly garden
John E. Jorgensen: An excellent exhibit
Angie Hanner: Haven't been in a few years but We'll never forget this. The butterfly exhibit feels like another world! Would be great to go and stay there longer. You'll want to enjoy this precious experience for as long as you can!❤
Marc Andonian: This is a great zoo with a ton to see. The city had really put a lot of time and resources into it and it shows. The staff is knowledgeable and it's a huge place to explore. And fun fact, the penguin exhibit is the largest in the world! Definitely a fun day trip for people of all ages.
Eric Prather: Beautiful! Much to see, even in the winter.
John Renaud: The butterfly garden was the best of the entire Zoo. The entry price for two senior citizens is a complete rip-off $38. Three-quarters of the animals weren't even seen or there Building closed. Went on a beautiful day. No senior citizen discount what a shame. People on a fixed income can only attend the zoo when they hit the lottery.
Ricardo Rodriguez: Beautiful and relaxing.
Jaime Almo.: Hermoso lugar, muy bien cuidados los animales. Muy limpio.
tom m: Great place for the fam
Hazel Johnson: Had fun with family
Alicia Ney: Soooooo pretty
Timothy Holley: Beautiful exhibit!! There is a Marc Chagall painting in the same building for which I'm trying to find a title!!🌻💐🐞
Jesse Stark: Was closed for private party...but there was no party..so payed 46 bucks and was not informed till after I payed that the one thing I brought my family to see was closed..
Tina Price: The butterflies were big and colorful
Kristie Hess: Awesome!
Oxi Fresh: Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning crew had fun.
lotus child: Breath taking

JMLady GodsGrace: Enjoyed the drive and walk touring the grounds.
Kay R.: This place is MAGICAL inside and out!! When we visited the Koi pond was frozen over, but we plan to try to go back some time once it's warmer. The conservatory is warm inside. When we went it was pretty easy to find parking and we didn't have to walk far. Check out the aquarium next door while you're here if you have time. The conservatory feels like stepping into another world and/or a time machine; pictures don't do it justice. It's split up into different sections with different types of plants. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a day trip.

Detroit Abloom: what do users think?
Ang G: This is a great concept and community project. We got an area here for the 1st time and can't wait to work it. The area is quiet and zen like with other Gardners sharing space and ideas. Every community should have an area available to grow your own food.
Teemaree: This is a magical place right in the middle of a neighborhood. Simply park your car along the street and enjoy this free offering that is beautiful and meaningful in raising funds and awareness with their flowers, vegetables, and event space. We went to enjoy Tai Chi and will definitely go again as the garden itself and what you can do there is ever changing.

Dan stagner: Great little neighborhood hidden park!
Laura Woodward: Playground: Inform medium age kidsPicnic area: Comfortable and low-key for a good snack
Jacqueline King: Small..but cozy and lovely place to relax on a bike ride..nice for a picnic too!
Ashley Wall: Beautiful Park to hike around and play! They have multiple playgrounds, kid sized trails, and a sand play area.
Max Herzog: I understand it's difficult to escape the sprawling hellscape that is southeast Michigan but man calling this an arboretum is a little tragic. It's a decent enough place, hence the three stars, but if you want to actually feel like you are connected to this Earth I'd travel a little to a metro park or other nature center.
Christine Page: Cute park! If you go behind the Senior Center, there is a beautiful little wooded area with a walking path. We saw a deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and tons of birds, including woodpeckers. Very relaxing, and there's even a children's play area with structures.
Jeff Eisenberg: Very nice!
Susan Orbach: It's a peaceful, beautifully maintained nature preserve.
Daniel Saad: This collection of native Michigan trees is easy to access on maintained trails. Trees (as well as other native plants) are marked for a genuine learning experience. Nearby paved parking.
Katherine Renee: Lovely park. Mostly in the shade. No bathrooms.
Wendy Warner: Beautiful.
Douglas McIntyre: Very nice establishment
Sarah Murphy: Smaller than expected but lovely on a crisp, sunny fall day.
Tiffany Austin: Great place for children to play and explore
Melony Gallup: We went after it had rained. It looked nice but we couldn't walk through mulchy area because of the mosquitoes. The area holds in moisture for probably a couple days. The playground was nice too. Appreciated being able to get water inside the facility.
Djmcde: Great Park!
