I went to 9 different dress shops in the metro Detroit area and this shop was my number one favorite not only because of the beautiful and unique dress selection, but also because of Shawn and the experience she created for me. Marilyn Delrosa: I traveled all the way from a Cleveland, Ohio suburb, just because of the amazing customer service. I Previously went to a store at a mall that carried the brand we wanted. The mall store had customer service that was terrible so I decided to visit quince primaveras I figured if the other store treat you like that when you are intending to spend $1000 on a dress after they have your money it Be even worse. I saved hundreds at quince primaveras. I was on a business trip in Michigan and decided to check out the store. I got lost and called to ask for directions, the owner told me that her store was actually closed that day but that if I could give her time to get there she would open the store just for me since I was traveling from so far. It was at that moment that I knew that was the place I wanted to get the dress. I came back with my daughter during a fashion show the store had so she could select the dress. She had my daughter come back stage to try several dresses until she found the one she liked. She took her measurements and when the dress arrived it fit perfectly. My daughter has issues finding clothes that fit perfectly and give her an hour glass figure this dress she choose with their advice was perfect she looked like a true princess.

The saleswoman asked for what color and quickly responded we dont have that color on sale. Big surprise. Then we asked to see more dresses and she was too lazy to go get them kept making excuses on why she couldn't get the dresses. The service and attitude was horrible. There were no other customers inside it was only us. Best recommendation is get staff that are eager to sell. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I came here with my maid of honor in search of bridesmaid dresses and found a cute shop with lots of options and a store owner that was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Linda knows her stuff dress wise and put me at ease right away. She contacted all 5 of my bridesmaids via phone and worked with the 3 that were out of State. The dresses came in with time to spare and when the company sent the wrong dress for my maid of honor, Linda was on top of it and corrected it immediately. Linda handled all of the alterations and did all 5 in one day. She handled my phone calls and concerns wonderfully and was incredibly pleasant yet assertive. I would recommend anyone to Linda who is planning a wedding. She will put you at ease and will get the job done when it comes to ordering and altering your bridesmaid dresses!

Long story short she ordered the wrong size then told me I gained weight.... in one week mind you. Linda said that she could fix it, it’s a week before my wedding and the dress does not fit at all and the alterations done to it are poor. It’s not even the length that I requested. Though I feel that it’s my fault for not denying the dress when I tried it on the first time, I also feel like she conned me. She will not let me return it or exchange it. She said she would fix it but a week before my wedding I’m not putting anymore confidence in her and am shopping for something else.

My daughter asked her if the area where her cleavage shows could be covered up. This woman said to my daughter that she is young that she should show some skin and show her cleavage. She insulted my daughter about the duration of her engagement by telling her that she doesn’t know why a man would want to be engaged to my daughter for two years. Then she told my daughter that if she knew that my daughter was not getting married for two years that she would not have even taken her. At that point we left. I have never dealt with a business woman who was so rude. I do not advise for anyone to go here. This experience really upset my daughter when this is suppose to be a positive time in her life.

Dylan Pruden: Nice place for alterations. If they cant do it, it cant be fixed. They sewed up my favorite pair of jeans, and for that I will forever be greatful. Thank you Iris!! And they have a nice selection of clothes. And some second hand stuff too. Not really sure on that as I didnt buy anything. But they repaired my pant quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Parus: Huge variety of dresses and quick service.

Shaina Gambrell: This bridal shop is so unorganized and closed like 5 days a week. I had 9 dresses ordered, deposits were paid not one receipt was given. Dresses arrive, the owner June says no one can get their dress until everyone pays in full. That’s right, even the women that paid their full balance couldn’t get their dress. They don’t do alterations, the sizing of the dresses was absolutely horrible. My bridesmaids spent over $300 on the dresses & still had to pay over $100 in alterations. Oh let me not forget, when I presented my concerns to JUNE her response was “this is why it’s tough to do business with your own ppl”. Meaning African Americans. So she’s prejudice. Who says that to someone who was inconvenienced & is purchasing 9 gowns from you?5 out of the 9 of my bridesmaids had issues with their zipper, they suggested we buy wax off of Amazon. If you choose this place, good luck.

As the mother of the groom, I accompanied the mother of the bride and the bridal party to look for wedding dresses. Having just come from a discouraging visit to David's Bridal in Novi (our stylist was double-booked and not attentive AT ALL; she CONTINUED to bring my DIL dresses in the color and shape that she had not requested or that were not complimentary to her shape), we were hesitant about our visit to My Dream Bridal. However, we had no need to be concerned. We were greeted by a receptionist who escorted our group to a private salon. We were served our choice of water, tea, or Rose'. Our wedding consultant, Destiny, entered with a calm and soothing voice and immediately engaged the bride in a discussion about what she wanted (i.e. - color, shape, adornment, length, etc.). With the most AMAZING skill I have EVER seen, Destiny adapted each dress she brought to my future daughter-in-law based on her previous comments/thoughts. She 'drilled down' until she had located a dress that met every one of her requests. The owner came in to verify size and preliminary fit of the dress and engaged us in talk about the wedding details. My daughter-in-law felt so special and her bridal party had a blast. We will be returning to outfit the bridal party. Do yourself a favor: eliminate the stress of outfitting your bridal party - go to My Dream Dress Bridal Salon. You will NOT be disappointed, for real.

Suraya Chamseddine: Overall, I had a bad experience here. The total price I was supposed to pay became more when I went to go pick it up. The alterations that were discussed and agreed upon (which was surcharged) were NOT done and I had to scramble around finding a third party to make the alterations. She tried to sell the dress to someone else who happened to be my family member and our weddings are only 6 weeks apart at the same venue. I do not recommend future brides to go here.

Carly K: First off, I never write reviews. I will read reviews until I am blue in the face, but never leave them. L’Amour Bridal is the exception, because the experience is exceptional. I remember the day I drove two hours to see Hana at L’Amour for my very first bridal gown appointment ever. I had three appointments that day at other places and L’Amour was my first stop. I was SO nervous. Would I find the right dress today? I mean, I am SO picky, will they brush me off and coax me into a dress I do not love? Will they be kind and make me feel comfortable? Needless to say, I cancelled every appointment after visiting Hana at L’Amour. She is has the kindest soul and made me feel like I had known her my entire life. Her shop is absolutely beautiful and I found my PERFECT wedding gown after trying on only 5 dresses(like what?!) I could go on and on. I recommend L’Amour to everyone, and everyone should do themselves a favor and go here. Having someone like Hana take care of such a large part of your magical day is what every bride needs.

The shop is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The fitting rooms are HUGE and Hana will not hesitate in helping you get dresses on/off. She is quick to make suggestions in how you can alter the dress to your liking (I ended up swapping the fabric on my, and love it!!), and make personalized accessory suggestions. She makes a huge effort for this experience to be all about YOU, and takes time to really listen to what you want in a dress. Hana was also quick to ask my budget so she could avoid bringing me anything I couldn’t afford, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend L’Amour to anyone wanting a very personable and stress-free wedding dress shopping experience.

Visiting other metro Detroit bridal boutiques left me a bit discouraged, especially with regard to fabric quality and construction, and overly trendy styles. Vinnie's boutique is full of gorgeous high quality dresses (I was finally surrounded by 100% silk dresses, instead of polyester!), and she was so kind and supportive while I tried on many dresses. I found my ideal dress, and I can't wait to wear it in a few weeks!Additionally, Olga is an incredible seamstress, and she had my dress fitting perfectly. I can't thank Vinnie, Elvin and Olga enough for a wonderful bridal experience!

Anika Jackson: Vinnie & Elvin are literally family. I was sent to them from another boutique when I needed my first (emergency) dress altered. They greeted me with loving open arms . After deciding to have a wedding in October with only three months to plan I was against the clock to find a dress. I did not love my first dress from the other boutique (nothing wrong w/ it just not the dream dress) but I bought it as a back up just in case I didn't find anything. Once I arrived Vinnie was super patient and let me try on a myriad of dresses and after a couple of visits I found the DRESS. Vinnie and Elvin are the best. Martee Lampson: Vinnie and Elvin were awesome!!! I walked in feeling so nervous and uncomfortable, but Vinnie quickly helped me feel comfortable and welcomed. They had selected several dresses that encompassed thoughts I gave and also some that pushed my comfort zone. The first dress I tried on ended up being the one I said yes to! Vinnie even said that she recommended trying it on last for a “finale” dress! (I think she knew before we even started trying things on). In the changing room, Vinnie made me super comfortable and not at all self-conscious cause of being plus size. Speaking of! They had a large selection of plus size dresses for me to try on! Which was a huge relief! The champagne toast, photos, boomerang, and videos were an awesome perk! I will forever tell brides to go here! And what an awesome way to support black owned businesses than involving them in the special day!

ANGELA COHILL-BEAVERS: I had a really hard time finding a dress. At some point it became so overwhelming it was no longer fun. The first time I walked into Ashley & Alexandria’s I felt welcomed. I don’t feel rushed nor did I feel obligated. I found a particular dress I thought I may have wanted but I still wasn’t sure. Vinnie gave me the best advice possible. She said go to other places, look around but you won’t find what you’re looking for elsewhere. Boy oh boy! was she right. No other experience felt the way I felt when I went here. Long story short. I went back and purchased the first only dress I absolutely fell in love with! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to share that experience with!

They are amazing at communication (phone, e-mail, text) and working with my schedule for appointments. I had many friends and family who came with me to look at dresses, and they were always welcoming and sweet, which was important to me. I cannot express how excited I am to continue working with the Le Salon crew!

Kathleen Uhl: My daughters and I had an appointment to shop at Le Salon this past Sunday for a wedding dress. Two of my girls live out of town and traveled home to be a part of what should have been a very special shopping trip. As I had previously explained to Alexis this would be my daughter's first time trying on wedding dresses for her July 2016 wedding. The appointment was made nearly three weeks in advance and we were given instructions to text as soon as we arrived at the Southfield location. We arrived about 15 minutes early and texted the number as instructed. I then received a phone call from Alexis who told me that we had canceled my appointment because the bride had already found a wedding dress! I assured her that we did not cancel the appointment and that we were waiting as instructed at the boutique. I could not believe it -- we were so excited to look for a dress! Alexis was generally unapologetic and continued to say that WE had canceled. She made a call to a consultant while we waited outside of the building only to call back and say that the person she had called was out of town so we were out of luck. She finally suggested that we visit Demetrios to look for a dress since it might not require an appointment. Le Salon is incredibly unprofessional to say the least -- do not waste your time booking an appointment here. If I had to guess -- someone wanted Sunday day off and fabricated a phone call so that they could have it. (Demetrios did indeed take us and our consultant, Pam, was lovely!)

Allison Myers-Fabian: This Salon is by far the best one in the Detroit Metro area. Their selection was very unique and representative of top designers at an affordable cost. My dress was a Paradiso Couture and at par or better than some of the more common designers. People were taken away by how gorgeous my dress was and the intricacies/perfection of the beading. Not only do they have some of the most unique and classic dresses, but their service also makes you feel like royalty. From the initial day to wedding day, you get the best service. Alexis and Jonas are truly there to find you that special dress and make the following months as stress-free as possible. I encourage you to stop at this boutique when shopping for your wedding dress.

Valerie Hassan: Wedding dress shopping can be one of the most important task a bride does. Finding the perfect dress can get quite frustrating. I found my perfect dress in a boutique in Miami. Unfortunately, when I went back they had sold it and were not ordering more. Le Salon made my dreams come true all the way from Chicago! They not only ordered my dress, but I was able to have it personally delivered to Miami from Chicago. I can not say enough great things about Le Salon. They truly work with you from the beginning to very end. A bride would be crazy to go with any other bridal boutique. Thank you Le Salon.

Lauren Poncsak: I just went last weekend to shop for a wedding dress. Both Eryn and Sarah were extremely helpful and attentive. I found a dress I fell in love with and ordered that day. Eryn was very professional and made me feel so special when I was trying on dresses. If you want a personalized experience and great selection, look no further. I felt like the whole place was just for me and didn't feel rushed at all. It was exactly what any bride would want when looking for their wedding gown.

Lindsay Quade: I had the most amazing experience at Le Salon in Southfield, MI. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jonas. He took me and my mother up to the bridal shop, which was open and beautiful, with a comfortable sitting area, large chandelier, and huge mirror. And then we met Alexis, who was immediately friendly and excited to have us there. I had emailed Alexis pictures of dresses I was interested in and the shop had asked for my budget ahead of time. She then showed me the dresses she had picked out for me based on the information she knew about me. I was very happy with her choices and felt like she truly got the look I was going for. One of the best parts was that all of the dresses she chose for me were in my budget, so I didn't have to worry about that at all. As we tried the dresses on, she asked about me, my fiance, how we met, and our wedding venue. She matched various accessories to the dresses I picked out and really listened to what I was saying. At the end of the appointment, I was torn between a dress I had tried on at a different shop and a dress I tried on at Le Salon. My mom was only in town for the weekend, and Alexis and Jonas told me I could come back the next day (a Sunday!) if I needed to. That night, I talked things over with my mom and decided I did need to come back. So I emailed Alexis and she personally called me the next morning to set up a time that could work. Both she and Jonas were just as excited to see me the next day. After trying the dress on again, I knew it was the one! One really cool thing about the shop is that they gave me a log-in through the shop's website so that I can track my dress and any contact I have with the salon. Overall, Jonas and Alexis were so professional and great to work with. As a stylist, Alexis really listened to me and I trusted her opinion on what she thought looked good on me. I never felt pressure from them to buy anything and they were so accommodating. I am so happy with my dress and my experience and can't wait to see them again when it's time to pick out accessories and get my alterations!

Theresa Maribbay: Let me start off by saying I had a wonderful experience and Jonas and Alexis were truly wonderful. My story, I think, was typical of any bride. I had shopped around but obviously hadn't found anything I was in love with and I was easily overwhelmed by too many options and "Limited time" discount offers . My best friend actually got her dress from Le Salon about 3 years ago. It was at her urging that I go through and make an appointment. In all honestly I was very intimidated by the fact that Le Salon has moved from its quaint shop in royal oak and had expanded. I thought that meant they would be too expensive and exclusive. The day I went to Le Salon, I had had another appointment before and thought I had found my dress. I was so sure, that I made a later appt that night to come back and purchase. I was very hesitant upon arrival, but Alexis quickly put me at ease. I kid you not, I bought the first dress she put me in. Even if my dress had not been there, i still had an incredible experience and they had a great selection. The only slightly negative thing i would let brides know is that I probably wouldn't go here if i only planned on spending a couple hundred on my dress. Le Salon has beautiful unique gowns and is a high end boutique. But even then, I would still call and discuss budget and what can be done. All in all, this a great shop I would recommend to any bride and hope they meet Alexis. She is a real gem.

Michelle Frost: My Review is a little late, but I only have wonderful things to say. I purchased my wedding gown off the rack at le Salon and ordered all of my bridesmaids dresses through them also. It was the best experience I could have asked for. Eryn and Sarah are absolutely amazing. i described what i was looking for and they gave me options, i ended up by the first dress i tried on. It was an awesome experience and i recommend le Salon to all brides.

Eryn understood what I was looking for after just one phone call and picked out the perfect dress for me. She was extremely patient with me, allowing me to try on several of the dresses more than once, and she was an absolute joy to work with. Both Eryn and Sarah were extremely sweet and helpful and made finding my wedding dress a blast. All of this, and I didn't have to break the bank in order to get an amazing gown. Christina Klausing: Eryn and Sarah at the Valparaiso location were fabulous. I had a very tight budget but Eryn worked well with me and found the perfect wedding dress for me under my budget price. She was fun and professional while listening to what I wanted. She did not try to push a dress on me at anytime, which I truly appreciated. Le Salon is one shop I was completely comfortable in and hope to return to in the future.

From the time that we walked in the door until the time we left, this was a first class experience all the way. Not only did I find the PERFECT dress, they gave me all of the right resources to customize it and make it my own. The store is amazing. As a Bride, it annoys me when vendors are hard to reach...or worse--they sometimes never call back. However, I was always able to reach Eryn and Rachel and if I could not get them right away, they ALWAYS called back SAME DAY. I appreciate that...anyway, I am rambling. Rosalie Dunlap: Le Salon is the absolute best place to go for wedding attire! After visiting about every bridal salon in Southeast Michigan, I finally found the perfect place! Because it is appointment only, you are the only person in the salon, so shopping is a relaxed and enjoyable experience. You also get Alexis' full attention which is a huge bonus because she is so unbelievably helpful and patient! And of course, Le Salon has the best dresses. I actually fell in love with two of them on my first visit and after a long debate I ended up purchasing one that day. Then, when it was time to look for jewelry and accessories I went back to Le Salon because they have the best stuff and I was able to try on the jewelry and accessories with the sample of my dress so I could see the full look. I alsoordered my bridesmaid's dresses from Le Salon for a HUGE discount as well as the groomsmen's ties which match the color of the bridesmaid's dresses perfectly. And, after my mom got her dress she sent a picture of it to Alexis and she helped her pick out the perfect accessories. Throughout the entire process I had a lot of questions and Alexis and Jonas were always there to answer them. They are both super responsive, helpful, and patient and have made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. I delete just picked up the last item I ordered and am actually sad that my experience there is over. I highly recommend Le Salon for all wedding attire!

Kristyn Makar: Remarkable and wonderful!! I feel these two words characterize Le Salon and their team of wedding professionals. I will recommend Le Salon to every bride I meet. I went to so many salons all over Michigan not sure of what type of wedding dress I wanted. After months of searching I was getting close to the deadline of even ordering a dress. I finally decided on a dress only to have a salon tell me it was no longer available. I called everywhere to see if anyone could get me the dress I had finally decided on. No one would even try to get the chosen bride dress, until I spoke with Jonah at Le Salon. Their magnificent team not only got my dream dress, but I also purchased all of my wedding accessories from them. They have a wonderful collection of jewelry, hair pieces, veils, shoes, etc. Everything you could image! Le Salon made sure to accommodate me as I had to drive a few hours to get to their location. I also had my alterations done at Le Salon and the work was perfect the first time. I never had to tug or pull to keep it up and the bustle was gorgeous (best I or anyone has seen). They work so well as a team to make sure you, as a bride, gets all the attention you need and deserve for your big day. I had many compliments on my dress (including the priest) and I truly believe everything was made possible because of Le Salon. It was the best phone call I made, and I am not sure why you would go anywhere else. If you are just starting your wedding dress shopping make your first stop at Le Salon because they will find the dress of your dreams and you will not need to spend anymore time shopping around. As a bride, you deserve to be radiant and stunning on your wedding day. This is what Le Salon does, so let them do their magic with you!
