From the suggestions of what to serve (a Mexican/Taco bar) to how much to serve, they knew exactly what to do. Delivery and set up gave me less to do and, most of all, the food was delicious. Dashawn: I used Jackson Five Star Catering for my mothers repass. From start to finish everything was professional! Their set menu was perfect! The food was A++ and the service they provided was way more than I could have ever expected! It was already an emotional day for me! But even worse it was a major ice storm, the power was out at the hall, the limo was late picking us up due to the weather, the singer called in sick, just a mess! The owners wanted to cancel our repass dinner. Jackson Five Star catering showed up and had the owners go buy a bunch of candles and battery powered lamps and we had an amazing dinner by candle light! Jackson Five star turned our storm into sunshine! Everything turned out better than perfect! Perfect Day for my Beautiful Mother! I definitely recommend Jackson Five Star Catering for all your special events! Thank you again Jackson Five Star Catering! God Bless You all!

This was my first time visiting Jackson Five Star Catering, as I had never heard of it before. So I was curious about trying a new place. My girlfriend has had some of yours food before, and she thought it tasted very good. So I became excited. Upon walking up to the window, the young woman on the register visibly had an irritated look on her face. My girlfriend ordered a sausage, and as I was about to say what I wanted, the cashier just walked off before I had a chance to begin speaking. After she came back to the window with a wrapped sausage, she looks at my girlfriend and asks, "Anything else?" I spoke up asking, "For the chicken tender meal, how large of an order of fries come with that?" She responded, "It's a $4 fry order". Once again, I had never eaten here before, so I had no idea what size that would be. So I said, "But I don't know how big that is", after which she holds up an empty tray and says, "All the food fits in this tray! The chicken sits on top of the fries!" She then shoves the tray through the ordering window and almost directly in my face saying, "You do the math! I don't know what to tell you!" It was at this point that I just told her, "Never mind. I don't want anything". Then my girlfriend handed back the sausage, and we both walked away extremely agitated, and extremely hungry.This is the only interaction I've had with this establishment, and I don't believe that I will be returning.

Ali Razvi: They are on first name basis and are very efficient at order taking. I've witnessed a customer not sure of what he wanted exactly and they are insightful enough of their own menu to find them something they liked. Food came quick. I had the Thor. Lettuce, tomato, and cheese were the perfect ratio. The turkey and bacon completed each other well. A refreshing veggie taste coupled with a fulfilling protein taste. I went from empty stomach back to normal without feeling bloated or something like that. It was exactly what I needed at that time. Also, their truck is cool, it reminds me of being a kid again. They know how to talk the talk and walk the walk.

And the waffle fries were perfection!We visited them on a Sunday at the Eastern Market, around lunchtime, and by the time we got our orders, there was quite a line stretching out, which was 100% understandable. I would buy yummy sandwich food from this truck again in a heartbeat!
