StoneCrest Center: what do users think?
TooTuffTom: Since 2017, at least four patients have died within two days of being released from StoneCrest Hospital, a private inpatient psychiatric facility in Detroit. Despite being notified of each of the deaths, state officials never investigated. If you want the truth about this place go read the reviews here with the most thumbs up. Theyre all about how bad this place is. Youll notice also that the 5 stat reviews have 1 thumbs up if theyre lucky. So it speaks for itself which reviews are honest and which are posing. Absolute miserable excuse for a mental care facility. Outdated methods and staff that doesn't care. Good luck getting help with anything here. You will be placed around other people who may get violent or lash out at you for no reason, and guess what they're going to keep you around those people too. No private space and constant overstimulation. This place is a front for a tax write off or so Detroit can say they have a "mental hospital". Disgusting. This place should be shut down it is inhumane. Never witnessed such an awful environment for "recovery". You will leave this place more messed up than when you went in. Any 5 star reviews are likely spam accounts or staff trying to save its rating from tanking into the ground worse than it already is. There are good mental hospitals around Michigan but this is an insult to any mental care practice.
Caprece Rose: Kerry Ann the social worker on 4 north is rude. My wife is there and every time I’ve talked to her she’s rude and acting like she can’t be bothered to talk to me about her care. Leave voicemails she don’t respond. When she does answer she tells me to call back to then not answer when I call back. I would give 1 star but Shontia on 4 north is great.
Beth Boik: I went to StoneCrest center about 6 years ago- (approximately). While under their care, I found comfort and support from nurses, and staff.I attended art therapy and music therapy and to this day I still have all of my art projects! Art therapy was very important to me and my mental health. It helped me understand myself better and gave me the tools I needed to use at home after leaving the hospital. The art therapist was AMAZING! I will always remember her.Music therapy also gave me hope and cheered me up when I was severely depressed. I looked forward to the activities. I’ve been to other hospitals and not had the best experiences. But I felt like the staff cared about my story and listened to me.Thank you StoneCrest Center! ❤️
Madison droste: Very nice staff especially Yolanda m. Processing can be a little slow but they provide a very safe environment and go through all the proper procedures and make you feel comfortable. Much better than other places I have seen and treat patients with respect.
Brian Hubacek: Worst place ever!!! Dr Haddad is a real piece of work. Meds are refused. Release dates are disregarded. He doesn't even visit them. No one returns your phone calls. They overmedicate the patients til they're drooling and sound like they are drunk and can't walj straight. Restrain you for no valid reason. There is no compassion in this place. Forget any communication I tried for a week and got the runaround. Had to go down there to speak to anyone. Try and get your loved ones out of this place. It should be closed! Great place if you want your rights to be violated. Theres a reason they have to have their employees give reviews on here. Otherwise their rating would be worse.
joyce Smith: Never got a call about my husband who is a patient there by the case manager or physician. Even 1 star is way too many
Clare Azar: Stone crest had a very few women that you could tell had love. The tech Alicia was my favorite miss hello kitty was a good lady. And the cleaning lady was so very nice. Thanks for a good hospital visit
barbara davis: The admissions process needs a lot of work. It is completely unacceptable to have ambulances waiting for several hours to admit a patient. Several counties are struggling to have enough ambulances to respond to emergencies and this place ties multiple ambulances up per day for hours at a time. Most psych facilities don’t make EMS wait through the entire admissions process and honestly it’s not their job. Once the patient has entered a facility it is the staffs responsibility to keep that patient safe. Not EMS. Change needs to happen.
Alex Schweizer: Great staff here doing important work!
Susan Banks: I just spent a week there and it was honestly just what I needed. Unit 3SA had friendly staff, the food was actually amazing and they offered different group therapies such as art & music. Amelia was amazing at art therapy! The only complaint was not getting outside or getting fresh air. They keep it clean and they have good snacks!
KING S H A D Y: Medicine was overdosed I got put in the quiet room for no reason and rude workers!
jblock 2511: Horrible I was punched in face and no one did anything felt threatened for my life I have two black eyes PLUS THEY HAVE SCABIES
Laura Serratos: I've been there and hated this place. They won't let you hug your family membersWhen they visited me.i felt like if i was in prison.I wasn't able to sign out and leave.I received calls from my mom she told me that she was taking me to court to become my daughter guardian. After she assumed that i was never getting well. With my families in law. One of the female staff was rude to me.& Bcz I expressed how I felt loosing freedom. She wanted to send me to my room.My mom accused me of not taking my medsJust to have the doctors at Henry Ford hospital. To put me at this crazy hospital she accused me of having schizophrenia. When she called the ambulance on me telling them that .I tried to tell the nurse when she called me 10 days later.Letting me know i had to go to court to take my daughter away from me.She applied for guardian ship to have my daughter. All the nurse at the desk did was gave me more medication to calm me down.&she would not listen to me.she interrupted me alot.I was upset at my mom bcz of the way she had the ambulance to bring me at this jailhouse hospital. She also told the ambulance that i was mentally retarded. When I tried to tell her I made a mistake drinking monster drink & 5hour energy. It made me jigidi. With my medication.I tried telling the doctor there who was working with Dr Kyle Smith. About my mistake drinking monster drink & 5hour energy shots with my medication for anti depression and anxiety. He didn't really listen to me he claimed that my meds was not working. He tried changing my medication to Serroquel.
Ebony Whitford: I started working at StoneCrest Center in 2021. I love being part of such a great organization, that provides Quality care services to the patients.
Michael Prichard: Friendly staff and clean facilities
Ann Stewart: Working here is the best decision I have ever made
Danielle Todd (DaniGirl): I had a friend at StoneCrest Center who had a very positive stay and outcome once discharged.
Britany Spangler: The staff was so kind.
K H: StoneCrest Center (SCC) has been my work family for almost 9 years. The day I walked into that place I felt like I was supposed to work there. I remember walking out of my interview with this feeling of I belonged before I even was offered the job. You just never know where your path might lead you or what our purpose in life here on earth is. I feel confident to say that SCC has given me a purpose. Mental Illness alone is so stigmatized and dehumanized. Naturally, I believe that anyone not knowledgeable about how an inpatient behavioral hospital operates they are most likely not going to have a good picture of what it’s like. The only portrayal of inpatient psych I knew of before I started working there was from the movies. So no wonder why people have negative thoughts about this setting. Since working here, I have seen what amazing work we do at SCC. I witnessed patient breakthroughs while working with the different therapeutic services we offer during a patients stay. I have seen how our staff gets our patients to engage in different type activities such as talent shows, spirit week, and holiday celebration like trick or treating through the units on Halloween. It brings such joy to me to see our patients getting the help that they need and to feel like they are important.
Amelia M: Just came here to say that the social workers, therapists, nurses, and other staff members work really hard every day for their patients. I truly love my job as a therapist here and I see people get better every single day.
Amanda Norman: Activity therapy groups are engaging and fun, you can tell they enjoy doing what they do and care about the patients.

Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority: what do users think?
Evan Miller: Should be longer hours life’s are at stake
Chandra Hoffman: I'm new at navigating around all of this and it's been a struggle. All I wanna do is be able to help my son.. They have helped me in more ways than one. Ronda that was assistancing me was pretty amazing, super nice, clear, and helped explain things in away I could easily understand. Plus removed the giant weight I had on my shoulder. Thank you again Ronda
Mary Young: Horrible customer service. Just horrible
Justin Banks: It has been almost three weeks since I called the intake department. I left a message and have yet to hear back from them. It sucks when you try to get help and the actual resource provides no benefit. Apparently you can contact their hotline 24/7 but you may not hear back from them for days when you ask for help. It’s so disappointing. And unfortunately peoples lives deteriorate when they don’t get the care that they need.
Tracey Jackson: Great place to work with opputuniy
Anna Fisher: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! My friend is having a mental health EMERGENCY! if he were calling in his condition, NO WAY could he have navigated the multiple times I was transferred, put on hold; and when I told a woman I couldn't hear her (she was talking too fast and too softly, and probably on speaker phone and not speaking directly into the mouthpiece) she hung up on me!!!! After several calls thankfully, I DID get my question answered, but that person was also on a speaker phone and I was not able to hear her. The sound quality was TERRIBLE!!! This so-called psychiatric emergency service is totally UNACCEPTABLE!! I know it must be overwhelming work, and maybe the social workers need more support, better quality equipment; whatever the reason, as I said TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! (I hope my friend doesn't die or inadvertently harm someone before he gets the help he needs!!!) It is such a helpless feeling to call the place I'm supposed to call for help, and get a TERRIBLE, useless response! (I got the answer I needed about where to go because I called back several times!)
jay w: These people here, have always been there for me. I may have had to call back a couple times, but they are open 24hrs if you're in crisis and have always been caring..Thanks to them
frost deathwind: Because they mistreat people
Mr Tanthos: I tried to file a grievance with them regarding a mental health treatment center I go to. They can't even get the right information right that I provided to them and were every snotty records me but yet they claim to care about us? They can't even follow there own police's or make shure the clinics are fowling the policy the state of Michigan has set out regarding are treatment right's. The right's booklets are all out dated.
Bradley Greene: What a joke... I called daily for 2 weeks only to be told me they couldn't justify inpatient rehab because I wasnt high when I called. This agency should be dissolved and replaced with a competent one. Seriously, outpatient rehab is just a way to meet new drug buddies.
Karen Grace: For folks battling mental health issues with nowhere to go, a phone call to them is the first step to getting on the path to feeling better. I know.
Bianca: The system is flawed.
Shauntay Frazier-Hall: Rude and abrasive.
Muzan Ubuyashiki: It's laughable how a real person will state there concerns and a staff member comes right behind them with a fake 5 🌟 comment. Y'all so dam slow with getting anything done about time yall get around to the client's they would be half DEAD..
Delatorre Lockman: A very renowned mental health center in the city. The doctors are just amazing in their work ethics.
Lisa Reed: The counselors are truly amazing and caring.
kailey lawrence: Rude over the phone. Not helpful at all. Trying to find a person who speaks actual SPANISH shouldn't be this hard. Do the people who work there even actually CARE about their job and helping people?
Danielle Nolan: Great place. Hard working team. Dedicated to ensuring quality care facilities for consumers.
rebecca eatmon: Easy fix, relocate the eyesore which is Team Wellness Center on Russell. What were they thinking siting a homeless addict treatment center there? The place is a medicaid ripoff racket anyway, they bring homeless to the area by the bus load (literally) picking them up at verious shelters. To get the fun services (free laundry, watch tV) they are told to tell the DWMHA that they need psych services (I hear voices) and viola they get into the program where Team Wellnes bills the heck out of their medicaid for services they dont want or need. Walk by, its dangerous, always get asked for money, many of them are stoned or drunk. Smoking right outside the door. If they dont get shut down for medicare/medicaid fraud they should be relocated as a public nuisance.
April Austin: If you can find another Support Agency please do so. They do not care about their consumers. The support coordinators are inexperienced and clueless. They're always complaining that they are understaffed which means poor deliverance of services. My son has had 3 different support coordinators, within the last year, so no one is on the same page when it comes to services.
Jack Al-saher: Their computet system is so bad, no updates, different information process, and inexperienced costumers support... If you don't have a mental problem, then you will get it because of them..

Development Centers, Inc.: what do users think?
Erin D'Hondt: I had the intake appointment and then they just stopped answering me about setting up another appointment and sent me a letter saying my phone number is disconnected…even though they contacted me on my phone. This is not the place to go for help.
Maria Gordon: I’m still waiting to see or hear from someone to open my case back up I’m so depressed
Deanna Morris: This place is terrible they aren’t a help to my mother. They make it hard on people who really need help. Should be replaced my a more competent team. I will report to the State of Michigan.
Bougie GG's confidence: I'm not understanding this placeI'm not sure how they even got the job here no one keeps their appointment time they don't know what they doing they giving out wrong information. Never on time this is the worst place ever. And we suppost to let y'all help us wow. I'm waiting now for them to call and it's now 30 minutes late calling me.I'm Done
Katrina Harvey: A lady Therapist... I know I'm a grown woman, going through, What's wrong with me... She said to me at my appointment... You a grown woman now you should know that. What the heck,,,, If I knew what's going on with me mentally; to see a psy. therapist.... Duu, hummm I wouldn't have gotten help, especially by her.... My mind mentally" I dont know" yep, I loosing it.
Kala Crosby: Terrible, rude attitudes they do not accommodate with schedules(school, work etc.) in other words accept the appointment or get terminated from receiving services. I would not recommend anyone , I rather deal with stress and anxiety than to pour my thoughts into “professionals” with apathy towards your situation! No thanks !
T.G.: this place is ridiculous. no one knows what they’re talking about and desk receptionist are rude. there’s always a miscommunication on policy and ways to get in touch with your psychiatrist, these are suppose to be helping us and they’re not.
Charlene Torres: If it wasn’t for my therapist I would have never came back to this place.
Clayton Young: The first time I had to this place was Awesome, in 2014, Then this Year I had Came back for more Service's, and this time was horroble. One the Residents need to have Experience before they sit behind that desk... Second thing is everybody goes through things in life like loosing a loved one especially if it your Spouse, I had went back to New Directions Club House and was sent home in tears and thinking the worst!! Like I said this place has changed and so has the STAFF YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!
D'Juan Clay: Need improvement in area restaurants workers reflect 1921 depression instead of old money. Coney on the right. Can't miss it.

Disability Network Wayne County Detroit: what do users think?
Tawanna Foster: I haven’t had service with these people before but what I can say is when I emailed for helped they contacted me right away and when she couldn’t assist me she sent me resources that will help and I really appreciate that thank you
Darchelle Stewart: Disability Network Wayne County are doing an amazing job. They’re helping people with disabilities find work, a place to to call home, and that’s important because a lot of time people with disabilities are overlooked because of certain circumstances. I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do, and keep up the great work
Latreeva Rush: I have contacted disability network on many occasions and have always been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Great resources and great environment from all staff I encountered.
welcome to my world shantel: I have been calling for information on trying to get housing or to get on sectioved a call backn 8 and can never get intouch with anybody I also leave messages to call me back but never recieved a call back...
Tiffany Lee: Great staff great benefits for the clients
ReGina Hentz: Very accommodating to clients. They offer a variety of services to the disabled that many don't know about.
Syreeta Hemphill: I applied for a job with this company recently and was told to schedule a morning phone interview, which mornings was all they offered. So, I scheduled my time for 9:30am. I waited until 9:40am for a phone call which never came. I emailed the person I had the interview scheduled with Jeana Tall, that I never received a call. She emailed me back late that night 9:43pm saying, "I called you several times. You did not answer my phone call and never called me back." I emailed her back saying "I did not receive any calls or voicemails so I wouldn't have been able to call you back. I waited up to 10 mins after my scheduled time. No calls or voicemail came through and I could not wait any longer as I was at work at the time." Jeana emailed me again saying that she recorded her phone record that indicates that I was called several times on the day and time. If she called several times like she said, wouldn't I have gotten at least one of those calls with a voicemail? I thought is was rude for Jeana to contact me not to apologize but to insult my intelligence. My phone and voicemail works just fine and I didn't receive anything from her. Funny that I got her emails but no phone calls, go figure. To have me waiting like that was very unprofessional then the defensive emails were even worse. I really do not appreciate anyone devaluing my time like that. They lost out on a potential great candidate and if that behavior keeps going, I'd assume they will miss out on even more great candidates. Looks like I dodged a bullet!
keith “wildbill21” butler: I called this place 3 months ago to request a list of low income apartments. Within three months the person(Mr Butler)who's charged with generating the list gave me the run around saying he mailed it to me on three different occasions. I called to speak to the office manager(Shaunice Knighton)..,she told the receptionist to ask me what l wanted(unprofessional). At this point l asked for the Executive Director(Lori Hill Sanders).Ms Wilson the receptionist gave me her voice mail.l still haven't heard from anyone. I never thought that requesting a low income apartments list was this hard to get. Looking at the pictures on this site,it appears that they are all about partying and taking pictures. They get a zero rating from me.

Detroit Behavioral Institute | Capstone Academy: what do users think?
Sue Sandrowicz: My son was there and it was THE WORST facility by far. Flanagan and Young beat my son and he was actually admitted in the hospital because of it. Then they blamed my son for his injurys. Please do not send your child there!!!!
Crystal Farrow: They beat kids and it don't give them the right to at all the marks I seen on a child is uncalled for
Darrion T. L. Estrada (DEMISE ME SOLDIER): I flew from Colorado to Detroit from Nebraska to Detroit Behavioral Institute Being told that I was going to the open side of the program and the whole facilitators kept me on the institutional/locked down facility side of the program. No one back in Nebraska knew where I was or what was going on knowing this is worst than where I just was which was not what was supposed to be going on or happening. They treated me very wrong, I was disrespected, as well lied to from the beginning. I later was finally able to get ahold of family & workers. I got on a plane flew back to Colorado to go to Wyoming to a different program. I didn’t not cooperate w/ there program or therapist. I just followed the basic guidelines and rules.
Brock Lindgren: I went to this facility and had feces throw n at me and the staff didn't do anything, the food had roaches, and ,they would not let me call my family more than once a week
Jessica Smith: Communication is the worst. The staff is so unprofessional, would not recommend
lil'l'dog the youtuber: y'all be tripping they are a really good place...
Tamira Bacon: My daughter was Touched inappropriately by male staff on her breast. Today April 19, 2019 Staff members Draper punched my daughter several times in the face. While mr Flanagan and other staff members held her down. This place is horrible.
Deb Bush: Please do not let your child go to this place. PLEASE take this as a serious post. What a feasco!!!!!My grandchild was sent home in the cloths that were issued to him. Oct. 2017 until Feb. 2018 we are still waiting for his cloths, glasses and personal belongings to be sent....but guess what? They can't find them. Frigging theifs..other issues but won't go into that at this time....later date.WARNING !!!! WARNING!!!!PLEASE DON'T SEND OR LET YOUR CHILD BE SENT DBI...
Lakehla walters: The worst ever. Lack of communication and everything with the parents.,, do not send your children there......

Motor City Center for Hope: what do users think?
Crystal Smith: 10 stars for Darthanian Nichols. Me and my husband just started marriage counseling with Dart and it has been nothing but an eye opener. Each session he challenges my husband and I to be better spouses to and for each other. I love the homework he gives. Before we started coming to Dart I had trust issues with my husband and I am glad to say that I am learning day by day to trust him again. Dart has been helping us in many other ways also.
eastdetroiter: I’m certainly glad I started coming to therapy at Motor city. They are friendly, understanding and very helpful in trying to get you to reach your counseling goals. I’ve been going about 8 months and they have helped me through some trying times. I prefer a in person session and they have been real convenient with that as well!
Brie: I have been a client of Mr. Nichols for 6 months now and he honestly has been one of my saving graces. Initially when seeking out a therapist I preferred a black, woman therapist just for relatability sake. When I was unable to find appointments with counselors that fit the criteria I was suggested Mr. Nichols and I told myself I’d give it shot and worst case scenario if it was a bad fit, I could go elsewhere.God has a way of delivering you what you need before you know you’ll need it. I can say I am beyond grateful that the black female therapists I wanted initially were not available because Dart has been not only a phenomenal physician, but a great support system to me in extremely trying times. Dart has been an advocate for me when I didn’t know how to be one for myself. Dart has a sense of relatability that can be difficult to find even amongst your own friend groups. Dart has helped me see different perspectives without making me feeling shameful or judged. After my first session with Mr. Nichols I recall feeling noticeably lighter and remembered looking forward to our bi weekly sessions. If you are to join this group I highly recommend Dart as your counselor. You will find someone who is personable, attentive, patient, intentional, supportive, kind and an advocate.
Lauren Means: Mr. Dart is an amazing therapist! I’m extremely pleased with the relationship he has established with my son. It’s not only helping him, but helping me to see things from a different lens. He’s truly helping my little family and I couldn’t be more grateful.
aaron thomas: I’ve never had a therapist that’s held me accountable quite like Dart! This man has went above and beyond for me from showing up to my court hearings, to providing me bud tickets and even offering to take me bowling and challenge my viewpoint of how I think things should be. It’s been a great honor to work with him and although we don’t always agree on everything I know he’s doing his best to keep me pushing forward and striving towards my goals.
Shar S: I highly recommend Darthian Nichols. My boyfriend and I has been his client since August of 2022. Although this was our 1st experience he created a space for us to be vulnerable but yet safe. He’s very transparent, honest, stern, holds you accountable, supportive and just all around good at what he do. I love the fact that he listens (and REMEMBERS) and allows each person the floor (with No interruptions) He also creates different exercises that corresponds with whatever’s discussed during that session. These last 8 mths has been a rollercoaster that I do not regret. We’ve trusted him enough to let him guide us and be open enough to want to look at things from a different perspective. The fact that he’s reachable and responsive outside of business hours was important to us. I honestly didn’t think we would look forward to our weekly session but we do, and we’re grateful!
The King Jackson: Darthian is amazing easy to talk to but will also check you when he feels you’re not being open and honest. He is truly like a brother to me now. He is a big reason as to why me and my wife are back together and I thank him deeply for that and he continues to help us thru day to day struggles of a young married couple. I look forward to our meetings every week and would recommend him to any couple or family out there that is in need of some guidance.
dj tfink: Amazing place and amazing staff, they do truly care and go way above and beyond!
Michael Thomas: RayVon is our counselor Motor City of Hope. He has counseled my wife and I prior to getting married and continues to counsel us. He has counseled us through difficult moments in our lives and help us to get through. I enjoy his homework assignments for my wife and I to do. These exercises help and continue to help us to better understand and relate to one another. I enjoy his counseling, he teach my wife and I how to effectively communicate with each other. Because of RayVon, my wife and I are more confident that our marriage will last and withstand storms. I highly recommend RayVon as a counselor. He doesn’t judge but will make you feel comfortable in your imperfections.
Victoria Brys: Monique aka mo intern clinician is amazing and helps me . I have gotten better mentally and grow so much she is non judgemental and shows empathy . Love coming every week
SunnyG: Kind, caring and considerate are words that come to mind when describing the staff here. All the facilitators go above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I always leave with a much better outlook on life. Thank you for all you do.
BeautifulNerd1: Please do not waste your money with this facility. They only care about making you feel comfortable enough to share your trauma, but will not actually do anything about it. In my last session with my therapist, I asked her why she hasn't reported the things that have been done to me to Adult Protective Services and she told me that this was not a productive session. She even watched all of the video footage from my ring camera, from the incident that occurred on 6/19/22. I sent her an email an hour later, advising that I no longer wish to be a patient at this facility, not to mention that I sent her 3 links via email documenting who is a mandated reporter for the State of Michigan/ what should be reported. I am very disappointed in myself for trusting this young white woman to do the right thing. I may suffer from mental illnesses, but I am not stupid. I hope she does not make the same mistake with another patient.
Shauntay Frazier-Hall: Ray is a wonderful facilitor for married couples. Very real.Very transparent.Very excited to see where and how our relationship grows from the services provided. I will update as we move along..
D: I was very hesitant to go to a therapist but Cindy literally saved my life. I can not thank her enough. It's been almost 2yrs and I still carry the strength she gave me. Thank you so much for saving me and making me believe in myself.
Crystal Lyles: Best place ever. I love talking with Brandi marble .. she's the best #HANDSDOWN
Mike White: At first I was nervous at the fact of seeing a therapist of course I felt like any other person would but as me and my fiancee kept going we opened up more and Ms. Tanya is a big help in our lives. I would recommend this place to everyone that feels they need help or guidance
Gabriel Odom: Tanya Bankston really helped me through my deep depression and anger, she makes me laugh, treat me with kindness and understands and makes me feel like I'm not really alone she been the biggest help I need and now I'm living life baby sets better and reaching my goals...😋🤟
Dennis: I worked with Tanya Bankston. She is perceptive, practical and caring. What really stands out is her personal involvement -it is wonderful how she can recall people, situations and events from prior sessions. Be prepared to work, on your own, between sessions, too (which I like)! She provided fresh, valuable insights that helped my relationships with significant people in my life.
Saad Uddin: A great place to get help with when you feel down, depressed, or alone.
Eleanor: I first started seeing Cindy during an extremely difficult and tumultuous time. She could probably hear it in my voice when I first called about setting up an appointment because she had me on her calendar within a week. Things went from bad to worse for me shortly after that, but Cindy was there for me throughout all of it. She challenged me when I needed it, listened when I needed to be heard, and always provided great perspective. She can crack a good joke, too!About a year later, I don't know where I'd be were it not for Cindy. I owe a lot to her and she'll always have my gratitude. If you're thinking about Motor City Center For Hope, I cannot recommend it highly enough. That place saved me. Thank you, Cindy!
mike Burgoyne: My counselor is awesome caring and understanding. She is the first to actually to get through to me in 8 years. You want caring and respect go here, youll be one step close to great mental health.

B Mitch: I used to work in one of their homes and they had these terribly formated progress notes that made the job so insufferable when you weren't showering and cooking ect. You were constantly writing about it. No one ever reads them you have to sign your name about 12 times per sheet and it's a huge waste of time and resources. I hate progress notes
Marcos Carmona: I'm helping renovate it! The General contractor is a super great team!
M No: Staff that answers phone calls ARE NOT properly trained . I was told to just have them call for an assessment , An incarcerated person CANNOT complete an assessment for intake by calling and several staff members answering calls have no knowledge of this . Incarcerated individuals need to have a social worker at the facility( jail ) to be able to call for an assessment. Staff needs better training and knowledge of this . There should be a direct number for incarcerated individuals to be able to call to get help. And we need more mental help for people in this world today .
John Rumney: I took my stepson there for his meeting.
Lyndsay Richards: Terrible customer service, no organization, no one ever calls back for scheduled appointments.
Tina Marie Jean: The people answering the phone need some serious mental healthcare. The customer service representative was very under educated or pretending to be. She couldn't comprehend a yes or no question, got upset, and hung up multiple times on me. Based on the background noice she was working remotely in an exremely inappropriate unprofessional manner.
Ernest Odeh: People here are mean, unfriendly and few chairs.

Easterseals Michigan: what do users think?
Allison Adeline: I have only just started to interact with this Easter Seals in Southfield and I am absolutely mind blown by the difference from the one I was previously going to in Centerline. I was hung up on twice by the receptionist and I haven't even gotten set up with a therapist yet. There is very little communication, and this process has been extremely hard for someone with mental illness like me. I didn't even want to switch over but have to because I moved. Now I'm being told I have to request a transfer from my case manager when I haven't even started treatment with Southfield yet. Not to mention being transfered between the two same numbers getting different answers. I actually can't believe this experience I've had so far. My experience with Easter Seals Centerline was amazing. This place has given me nothing but anxiety.
Kate OLeary: Update: after I left this review, I got an email from a staff person, who listened and followed up on my issues. They are government-funded, so there's a lot of bureaucratic overhead that gets in the way of care, so I understand. Added a star for the follow-up.Original review: Better than no care, but the agency has serious problems. Psych doctors have to do everything by the book and have little interest in the more nuanced aspects and issues of mental health. Case managers are largely bureaucrats who have to go through the same boilerplate checklist of topics with each visit. It's meant to be a person-centered facility, but it's not. Some staff can be outright disrespectful and condescending. They've improved a bit over the years, but not enough. We have enough challenges just dealing with staying reasonably well. Easter Seals, you can do better.
Donna Wilson: Staff couldn't care less that you are there and make it seem as if it's a nuisance to talk to you. Therapist appts rarely last 45 minutes, much less the hour they charge for, appts get cancelled/blown off with little regard to rescheduling let alone inconveniencing you. That's if you can get appointments because that's a nightmare to begin with.
Antoinette Taylor: The people are veryvery helpful they are nice and they make you like a friend that. You known for along time i just the staff love
