Hope Kerkhoff: Since this location is closed, this is a review of their pop-up at Batch Brewing.I just moved here from Austin, TX a couple months ago, and I have to say the chicken here rivals my favorite al carbon spot in Austin. The salsas were also delicious and everything was very affordable. I am so excited to have this here and will absolutely be back!
Evan: As advertised. This place slaps

Bradley Greene: I know I’m reviewing this place while they rebuild from the fire, but this still needs to be said: best roasted chicken in the known universe, SOLID tacos/burritos/tortas. Tasty salsas, pitchers of margaritas. Fair prices, friendly waitstaff. I can’t wait until they reopen!
Mike Hardie: dang! burned in a fire! please reopen, this is the best chicken ever!

Clark Bruce: Delicious tacos (birria and traditional). Small local place that absolutely crushes it!
Reuben Bryant: I didn't even get the chance to eat here when I stopped in about a week ago but I would still rate them 5 stars because the food is really good !!!
Jody Grimmett: The food is authentic and the staff is always nice. It's a little bit of a wait but it's well worth it. Quality cooking takes time, especially when it's packed. That's fine with me.

RICH “BIG RICH” Cisneros: This is a hometown favorite to many. If you want the best tamales in town, you go to Evies. When I was married, I used to drive all the way from Warren to eat breakfast here every Sunday. They have 99 cent breakfast burritos and a great breakfast . The chilequilles are really good and the posole soup is a must. They have a good-sized menu with the standard Mexican dishes. The tamales u can buy by the dozen ready to eat or frozen. Out of the surrounding Mexican restaurants, this one is one of the better ones. It's a smaller place and quaint. Not bustling like or overly busy. I have the pleasure of knowing this family , as they are good people with good values. Overall anyone will enjoy the great food and atmosphere here. Come see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Eric H: Super affordable, and delicious. Will be returning regularly.
G S: My family and I have been coming here since before i could walk or drive myself here. One word, TAMALES. Get. Them. They are always so good😭 the hot sauce is nicely spiced, the beans are as they should be, the rice is never dry. For the menudo lovers this is your place as well, they are always straight forward badda boom badda bang you know why you came and you got what you needed. Great prices for a dozen fresh tamales, this place is a neighborhood holy grail, definitely make a stop here and enjoy the vibes and enjoy the food.
Bryan Cunningham: Love this place

C M: I liked the place and its authentic mexican atmosphere. The food was ok, but I didn't like the excess of frijoles refritos in every dish... we even had in our queso fundido con chorizo. Indeed, we didn't even taste the chorizo. The classic margarita looked great, but the Cointreau was replaced by a very sweet, cheap version, and it ended up not tasting like a real margarita.
Moldy Bread: Worst service ever and VERY overpriced
Takia Maxwell: Went with coworkers for lunch. I had the chicken fajitas. The chicken was too thick and not tender. The peppers were in big chunks and raw. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. Authentic Mexican. But I just didn't like the food. My coworkers loved their food.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bekah Galang: Awesome service, delicious food! They sat us pretty quickly even though it was a busy night and let us sit on the first floor (partner is on crutches). It was a little messy but I don’t fault them because it was a busy night and they were flying! Drinks were lovely too.
