The Royce Detroit: what do users think?
C. McD. Goodrich: Great wines by the glass and a well manicured selection of wines by the bottle. It's not an overwhelming selection, but a very good one. The meats and cheeses are mostly typical with some interesting options sprinkled in (smoked duck is terrific). I always enjoy my visits here and make it a point to stop in when I'm in town.
Frederick R: Great staff. Really cute 😍 ☺️
Timothy Emmitt: Very good wine by the glass
Harald Dickel: We visited all wine bars in the city and this is the best! A great list of open wines and good selection. Fair prices
Mary Bostic: Went randomly one night they had karaoke that night had a blast it's got another level inside everyone was friendly and very welcoming everyone supported one another even if you couldn't sing the songs with karaoke and also have their own different types of why and even offer you to buy it while in there and you can drink your own bottle of wine at the table and very nice low-key spa and everything is done through cure skin you cure scanned your order for drinks food and you QR scan your songs for karaoke bar staff was nice welcoming environment and haven't been to a decent place and a long time and I give this 5 Stars this is not meant for a younger crowd this is strictly for 25 and up and people who are on their grown ish. It's a small business not a lot of room but do host private party's
Curt Swogger: So good! Bobby and the team are awesome. Love the variety of wines. Love that the vineyards are owned and operated by women. Come in, grab a bottle, get some charcuterie and relax. All the wines are presented by density and the staff are knowledgeable to help find one to your liking. Sit up stairs for some privacy. It's our goto before we "walkabout". Good times!
Andres Saavedra: Great environment and friendly staff, cocktails were on point. Will recommend to anyone who’s looking for a chill spot, perhaps a quit date place
Emily Jantz: I cannot describe how wonderful this place is. The bookshelves of wine complete with sliding ladders give it such a cozy vibe, the staff is welcoming and warm, and the wines are diverse and delicious. This is my favorite place in Detroit for a cozy date night or a long conversation catching up with a friend or two. If you love wine, you'll adore this place; if you don't know much about wine, ask the staff for a suggestion and they're always spot-on. And on top of all of that, the wine tastings on Wednesdays are free and often run by a small business owner. You won't regret trying it! (There's often street parking a block or two west if you're not finding any, fyi.)
Rosy Hobson: My friend took me here. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely spot. We sat upstairs in the loft area which is a very decent size. I enjoyed every sip of my Spanish wine. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic evening or just want to hang and talk with a friend. There is also plenty of room for bigger groups. If you love wine and is searchihg for something "different",  this is the place.
Shawn Nolastname: I left Pure Vin to take my friends to The Royce. Walked in at 10:36pm they told us it was last call. You're a wine bar not a traditional bar. I will never visit The Royce again!!!
Niall McCarthy: Great unique wine selection and helpful employees
Kirsten: We love The Royce! They always have a great selection of wines and are very helpful in answering any questions we have. Their prices are great as well.
Kory Bevacqua: Great bottle selection. Love the wine cocktails! Always great service too.
Keith Miller: Stopped in for a beer and wine. Got a great meat and cheese tray. Can't spell charcuterie board
Perry Columbus: I love this place. It has some of the best decor and ambiance in the city. I am a memeber of the wine club. Ping makes sure that this place has only the best. Always great selections. My favorite eats/pairing uses are the white anchovies, the manchego and the chorizo.
Britney Sallen: A fantastic wine bar - we love the wine classes as well. Delicious charcuterie
Arber Velencia: I absolutely love this place. The staff is incredible and so knowledgeable. This is THE place to go. And they are LGBTQ friendly which is always a plus
Eugene C: I have been going to Royce since it has opened and for the first time I have had a bad experience at checkout. A wine bar should never have a corkage fee if they are charging retail prices the wine (which I served myself). Corking fees are for restaurants that allow you to bring in your own bottle of wine. THIS IS NOT TYPICAL. I purchased a 20 something dollar bottle of wine and found out at checkout that there was an additional $15 corkage fee. I’ve been going here for six years and Typically spend over $100 each time. I am debating I’m not going back.
Marisa Hamel Casazza: The wine here is amazing. Be aware there’s a $15 in-house wine corkage fee. I’ve been coming here for 6 years and today was the first day they’ve imposed the fee. Not sure how a $15 fee on a $20 bottle of wine makes sense. I love Royce and understand that there’s a high price to bringing great wines to us. But I don’t understand the high corkage fee (also served myself the wine).
Karen Kubicki: Very disappointed in the selection of the menu, slow service
Michael Timofeev: Great selection of wines and accompanied food. Coming from Germany where European wine is quite affordable it is a costly adventure. Nevertheless, I can recommend it very much. Great service! Try the truffle brie!

Grey Ghost Detroit: what do users think?
Kanishk Bakshi: I had a pork shank and boy it was delicious. Seems a bit expensive though. So, it was not good for the price. But given the ambience and plating and taste of food, Pork Shank was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
KiKi Dasher: I was looking for a restaurant not too far from the Fox theater because I was attending a concert with my son. I tried to make reservations online and had difficulty. I spoke to a nice young lady and she got me a reservation. I’ve never been to this restaurant and our sever Ibrahim was very attentive and he suggested a cocktail that complimented my meal. We were asked about special occasions or dietary restrictions and that was awesome. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. The food and service was excellent and I’m sure I’ll be back.
Sandra Renee: Great range of cocktails!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes French Fries …More
Katie Kleisner: Our first time here- everything was tops. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and drinks, plus a fabulous & attentive staff. Shout out to Chef Joe for his extra hospitality! Memorable experience in the best way, thank you!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Eric Lindsay: This is a must stop for anyone in Detroit. Make a reservation as it does fill up every night. Its my fav burger in Detroit but everything on the menu is a must try. Everything is made in house and it shows, the drinks are just as good if not better than the food as well so indulge when you go.
Dan Sharp: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Michael Taillard: An excellent restaurant experience. Great service, great cocktails, great atmosphere. The food menu relies heavily on obvious things that fail to showcase the culinary talents of the chefs (e.g.: oysters, steaks, etc.) buy the food is still very good. The wine list, while limited, is impeccable. Definitely worth the trip.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lola Meyers: Best shareable plates + cocktails. Always 10/10 date night spot
Dezerai Monique: It was a great night the ambience was good nice atmosphere. I ordered the lamb and really wanted to like it was terrible like they just put tomato paste water down on top of it how can lamb not be tender and moist? It was dry bland horrible just horrible. I found nothing to like about the meal. Besides the drinks were good. I see why it's called GHOST...
Kelly Marie: I think this place has a lot of potential. I worked in the service industry for a while and I expect a certain level of decency from staff. The general manager did not seem to have that. I was accused of feeding a backserver caviar which never actually happened. I apologize if my verbiage came off wrong- please show me your cameras. My group was cut off and we decided it was best to leave as the vibe was off. You know, nobody fell over, no one yelled, I was accused of making “slurs” and honestly we just came in for some late night food around 9 pm. I’m still not sure what the real issue was. I’m so over spending 300Plus dollars to be treated like trash. If the owner is reading this- please reach out. I’ve been coming here for years and your GM needs an attitude adjustment.
Jordan Smellie: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot, Paid street parkingMore
Derek Fuller: Grey Ghost is a great spot in Detroit to get some high class food and cocktails. Haven is the best waitress there by far!!! Very polite and attentive to her guests. Must go place.
Jon Tucco: The atmosphere, staff, food, and general experience at Grey Ghost was amazing. My wife and I had a great time celebrating her birthday there.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Candy Bar: what do users think?
Mike Violette: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jameca Atkinson Palmer: The hype did not live up to it. Drinks were ok.. but the furniture is dirty. We sat at the bar. If I had been seated on the couches, I would have left. The lights are dim, so it's hard to see. But I will not return or recommend it.
Julie Ross: Cute, you must stop in for a drink at least once
danny baghdadi: intimate atmosphere, vintage experience, very classy
Takia Maxwell: I went here for my birthday with a friend and it is so cute. Perfect little cocktail bar. Amazing drinks. Great for going after dinner or a show for a nightcap. The service is great and they have snacks if you get hungry. The lobby is so cool. They have a bed out there ....lol
Brandi T: Such a lovely, cute atmosphere. The cocktails were exceptional! The place is small. Therefore, reservations are recommended.
Perri Love: Came here with my sister excited to try drinks in a beautiful setting, our waitress was PAIGE…she made the experience a bit dry, no smiling, didn’t check on us..we had to ask someone else to grab her as she was behind the bar doing nothing…I personally wouldn’t come back based on her attitude, however if you get another server this ambiance is cute.Drinks are decent. Super cute setting though.
Briana McCarthy: It's a pretty tight squeeze in there. We're right on top of other patrons. The drinks were good and the service was very good as well.
Todays Present: We had a wonderful time getting drinks here before dinner. I loved that Sean is an excellent bartender that can make what I'm feeling/looking for even if it isn't on the menu. I would totally return here again and again to try something new. Even though we had a reservation, the space is small and it only takes 1 group (especially if they are loud) to really change the mood of the place.
Raven “Frank” Sharp: It feels amazing! It’s soooo small and intimate. Think a sexy early 2000’s Miami night!
Rachel C: Okay, not well described on the website and it was hard to find; also it’s super weird there’s no phone number listed to call. But alas. Turns out Candy Bar is inside The Siren hotel, but by the time we figured that out, we were a little late for our rezzie. They were really nice though and it didn’t matter. Drinks were really great, about $15 each; no food. People were friendly, definitely recommend a rezzie as it is very small.
sybil edwards: Very nice and cozy place drinks are awesome, very friendly staff very elegant place very nostalgic
freda s: The service and the "Playful Secret" cocktail were great. It's a small quaint room
Luke Lordes: Drinks were amazing!! Most were about $16 so pricy but for a night out with friends very cool experience. The location is small so either reserve a spot or pray you somehow can get in. The host (male, dark hair, dark eyes) was the nicest! We got there when it wasn’t yet too busy and he sat us down right away and told us we could stay for an hour until the table which was reserved was needed. So he made it a great experience by being honest yet super friendly and accommodating.
Katie Tingle: The Hollywood Glam vibe is immaculate and the drinks are just slightly overpriced, making it the perfect place for one drink before heading out.
DeShaun Harris: Great little place hidden inside of the Shinola hotel. Great location and area, close to lots of other bars an hotels in the area. Nick was our bar tender and the waitress was a very nice lady with great suggestions. Our favorite was the one with the raspberry in it (tequila based), but tasted like cotton candy. Will return soon, Thanks!
Ferique Kothari: I assumed the drinks would be extra sweet but they were very good and mild sweetness. Don't think u can go wrong with a cocktail you pick, but make sure you get a reservation!
Stefanie Greenberg: Cute boutique hotel with this little gem in the rear. Very small but cozy vibe. Great place to stop by for a drink or 2
Kyle Pucciarello: Worth it for the experience, not necessarily the drinks or service. We were lucky enough to visit some incredible cocktail places during our brief stay in Detroit, but everyone told us you have to try Candy Bar. Armed with a reservation, we arrived at 9pm and were ushered into the back of a hotel, making for a not-so-secret speakeasy sort of vibe.Oddly, for a gorgeous Saturday night, there were only six other people in the tiny, pink on pink bar. Which is actually what brings my rating, and our experience, down so low.Our first drinks didn't appear until nearly 25 minutes into our seating, already putting us at the halfway mark. When we asked about snacks, they didn't have much but we needed a little something - sadly, they never came, and we weren't checked in on until we asked for the check. With three people staffing this tiny bar filled with four couples, you would really expect better service. And, for the prices, it really wouldn't have been too much to ask.
Jerry Hopkins: Hostess was rude and short when showing up with reservation.
Bailey Geise: Great spot to grab a drink with your cute friends.

Stefana Valpotic: drinks are mediocre, service 0/10
