Andrew S: Staff is great and took good care of my sons cat but they don’t tell you prices over the phone or before you’re seen. I had to put $60 deposit down for neuter appointment then have exam and shots. It was 260 for exam and shots and neuter is up to 450. They have my deposit but I’ll be looking around before I get it done. They should give you a heads up for pricing. All about animals charged me 100 less for Neuter than this place charged for exam and shots. I was going to bring my other cat here for shots and exam too but I’ll be looking around first.

jay44220001: Today my baby girl was feeling down with a hematoma and ear infection, I tried for almost 2 weeks to heal her but I just couldn't get her there tis why I'm a carpenter 😁 so I gave it my all did my best!!Jefferson Veterinary was such a wonderful experience from the Front Desk, The nurse that held my baby girl threw it all and the Dr answered all my questions never seemed rushed, this was my first visit and I will always use them!!!!!!To all the Staff at Jefferson Veterinary THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!!!! Mecca is truly one of my kids, and I'm glad you enjoyed her company as well as she is a sweetheart!!!! See ya in 2 weeks!!!!!

She answered all of my questions in detail and was always happy to take my calls. They emailed me the lab results instantly after I called. I had my dog neutered there a few weeks ago and the whole process was extremely easy and smooth. They provided me with all the information I needed after the surgery. I highly recommend them.
Inspired adventures: My XL Bully was hit by a car and I called them for help...they took too long so I put my bleeding dog in my car and took him there and they told me they couldn't take him because they're full. My dog died. I'm disgusted and hurt. They don't get any stars. They didn't even offer medication for his pain that I would have paid for. This happened on July 27,2022. Rest in doggy heaven Bullet

Angelina Palacios: Dr. Carter is so kind and truly knows her stuff. I have tried other places and they dont listen to your concerns and want to run a million tests. Dr. Carter listens to you and gets her diagnoses right. She doesnt want to scam you for money she wants your pet to be better. The prices are also very reasonable!

Oh well...good while it lasted ....shame after spending several hundred dollars for shots...didn't quite make sense got two emails and a call reminding ME when the appointment was but then i arrive at 10:02 and wait for 45 min..i guess that two minutes was my grace period /45min punishment....
Carla Hendershot: I wanted to add my experience as a cat owner as most reviews I’ve seen are for dogs. I have a FIV+ cat and the staff has been so great with him. I called to make a last minute appointment as he seemed to have an infection and they got us in the same day because of his condition! They also don’t try to upcharge you for services if you don’t need them. Great place to take your pet!

Hannah Smart: I’ve been taking my puppy here since I got him in 2020. This little fluff ball has had more than his fair share of issues (WAY more) and Dr. Carter always squeezes him in, even if it’s last minute and we didn’t have an appointment. She has let me email her and even send videos of symptoms. I trust her and appreciate the support staff, too. Every vet office is slammed since COVID and many in the area aren’t taking new patients. Glad I found this place!

But Dr. Carter and her amazing staff were able to fit me in between appointment. The good doctordiagnosed my Gwen almost immediately and had us out within 20 mins! Thabk you so much, I will be bringing my pets here moving forward without a doubt!

Sabreen Nafsu: edit: upped my rating from 4 to 5 stars. my dog was licking at his paw and it was all red and raw looking so i called and was told their next appointment wouldn't be for another month, but because it might be more urgent they would find a place to fit me in their schedule in between other people's appointments. the wait only turned out to be ~40 minutes, i was just so relieved they did what they could to help us when they are undoubtedly very busy. for comparison, my previous vet would turn me away in a situation like this so i am very grateful to Dr. Carter.great first experience. the only negative is i wish they would have told me the nail clip was gonna cost $20 before they did it especially because they barely cut anything off...but otherwise the whole experience was pretty good. i really love the doctor! she was personable and made me feel less self conscious about my dog having separation anxiety.

Stephanie Primov: Since moving to Green Acres in September 2019, Dr. Carter has been my vet. She is very kind, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. Her rates are very reasonable based on the needs I've had to go for. I've gone for basic things like shots, as well as some weird things like a skin issue that needed antibiotics. There are a few times she's even been able to squeeze me in for a weird situation that was urgent but not needing emergency vet. I am very grateful to Dr. Carter and the staff at this vet clinic and always refer people to them since I've had such a positive experience.

Tina Williamson: When you call the staff tries to push you off on other vets saying they are "booked out" and puts barriers to service in place so you go elsewhere. The 2 times I got my cat looked at I wasn't very happy. I felt like I was just there to be talked poorly to and pay. I don't know why people are so mean these days but if someone is calling a vet they want compassion not all the loud sighing and attitude. I called once and got told I was cutting someone's lunch break short...and they proceeded to finish on the phone...I'm never going again

If you aren't in LOVE with your current vet, please give Dr. Lee a chance! I cannot rave about her enough! We have found our forever vet!
Alyssa Iseppi: I've been taking my dog, Mayor, to Patterson since Feb 2020 when he was just a puppy and to this day he still LOVES going there! Dr. Graham, Dr. Lee, Amelia, Amanda, Lynda - they're all amazing people who truly care about your companions. The rest of the staff as well! I'm so grateful for them. They send out friendly reminders via email to help you make sure that your companions are always up to date with tests, vaccines, etc., which I really appreciate. I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else - I'm so pleased with their service. If you want a veterinary practice that cares, GO TO PATTERSON! If you also want to go to the oldest veterinary practice IN THE COUNTRY (so super cool), GO TO PATTERSON!!

Evan Lock: I appreciate the walk-in only service, it allows people to have their pets seen by a vet on the same day. Other vets that I talked to were booking appointments weeks out.I showed up at 7:30 with Pumpkin, my cat. I was second in line and we got inside promptly at 8am. I filled out a sheet and was taken directly to the exam room. I waited there for about 20 minutes, filling in an information sheet and detailing Pumpkin's reason for coming in.Once the vet did see us, she was kind and attentive. She explained the procedures and costs up front and made sure Pumpkin was comfortable. She also gave me a few tips on getting Pumpkin in her carrier.Knowing the process going in, this has been the best vet experience I've had.
ron watson: They save my dog's life because I was ready to put her down and they said "let's try one more thing". Hurleys took care of her and they save my dogs life. I recommend Hurleys to anyone that has a dog or cat.

EVERY time I have taken my baby (my dog) to see them, they've throughly explained her condition, possible medication side effects, and the dos/donts. Ann M.: Dr Kala is the sweetest, most patient vet and has an incredible memory. She took the time to explain everything to me and was so good with both my dog and cat, she and the staff were very affectionate towards my animals. You can tell they truly love what they do and the animals they care for. They were so smooth with both of their vaccinations, neither of them even whined or whimpered, and were so kind and gentle with my cat when she got spayed. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate their kindness and skill.

Jim Wheels: I don’t think waiting four hours to get a annual vaccination is reasonable. I would like the option to make an appt. I feel like this animal clinic does not value the time of the customers…customer service is not something Hurley is concerned about. There are other vets that are local that take appts. I wish Hurley could offer appts and walkins. That way you are trying to provide service to all. I feel like if in suburbs there is no way you would not offer appointments!
Johnny Zachman: Hurley is amazing! Our dog was attacked by an off-leash dog while on a walk, and the Hurley team was able to accommodate her immediately, even without an appointment. She was seeing the doctor within an hour of the attack, and had surgery shortly after.Their team is super nice and always helpful with any questions I have — and they're also very reasonably priced compared to other dog emergency hospitals I've been to. We'll absolutely return for any further hospital needs! Thank you, Hurley team!
Morgan McKinnie: yeah this place might not cost a lot but they waste your time telling you they’re walk in only, when someone walked in at 12 saying “12 o’clock appointment for blank” and they were helped within the next 10 minutes not even. While I wake up early take off work to go in @10:50 to sign in and never be helped I waited until 12:30 and not one person said a a word to me.

They wouldn't honor my appointment date. The Doctor was rude and said mean things about my animal. Please go somewhere else if you want to be treated with dignity.As you can see from their response to me they are not professional thanks for proving my point! My issue was never about the estimate it was about the poor customer service and not keeping my appointment that was rescheduled...hell y'alldidn't have my name correct. I crawled out of America....there's alot of implications from your unprofessional statement! This is what l experienced being a first time customer at this place. What more could you say...how about simply apologizing for making a mistake instead of making me out to be a liar! I paid for poor service today. I went to another Vet who charges more for the quality of service a customer deserves! It wasn't about money but about how you treat a person... That's my river!!!!!Everything worked out for the best by going somewhere else!

One person will tell you one thing and then another person will tell you something else….Or, if you want you animal administered their vaccination in the lobby by the receptionist…Or, if you’re told you’re not allowed in the examination room, while watching another customer of another race come out of one….This clinic is for you!I was a customer of this clinic for 15 years under the previous Doctor and he was WONDERFUL!The new owner sits at the front desk surfing Amazon and making unprofessional jokes towards customers, while the receptionist administer vaccinations!My new puppy has had (3) appointments changed because they didn’t have the vaccinations available and (2) appointments cancelled when I arrived because the Doctor didn’t come in that day, without notice! And NO ONE called in advance to notify me!This clinic is a JOKE And VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!I suggest finding a REAL Veterinarian that care because this one don’t!

Mike Williams: This dr. If you can call him that is a joke. Took my dog in for dental examination...because i noticed sonething in his mouth....this guy looks quickly in his mouth and says no he doesnt need any extractions. Just some tartar build up....5 count them 5 teeth were bad and had to be removed, could have been handled alot sooner. We ended up in emergency vet the next day almost died...thats the last time i will goto this place. If you value your pets STAY AWAY FROM HERE.....o yeah forgot to say after a 1½ years they cant find his records you know vaccinations and other info....what a joke....

Patricia Martyn: Listen, this is not a fancy place, nor is this a fancy man. This vet is serving a needed neighborhood with care and compassion. Is he internet savvy, no, but will he answer your phone call? Yes!!! I just brought my cat to him, arrived at 1:25 for a 1:30 open time. Was the 2nd person in the door (when I left the little wait room was full 4/5 pets) My cat need anesthesia, so he asked me if he could call me back when the day is done and he can do the procedure my cat needs. I'll update once were done. So far he feels caring and genuine.Update: called me back at 4:30 immediately saw our cat, performed the surgery that effectively saved his life. Sent us home with antibiotics for the next week. The $700 hurt, but not as much as losing my baby and the fact he was seen and fixed the same day! Dr.Adolph called twice in the following days to check up on his patient. ❤️ grateful.

This place may not look fancy, but the doctor cares about animals so much, and it’s very apparent. Salina: You'll never find a better veterinarian who actually cares about saving or helping pets. Hes not about the money and charge a new for every nickel and dime to find out what's wrong with your pet. He has a wealth of knowledge and is actively keeping up with pet medicines. God-bless this man he is one of the best vets that I have ever heard of or known of in the state of Michigan. He is a true treasure to people and to all the pets.
Caira Blevins: Y’all don’t know how grateful I am for him! My dog’s eye popped out of her socket and every other vet advised to remove it. But he decided to take his time a replace it back safely. He only charged us $400, while others were $1500 and up. My dog has also had other emergencies he has tended to such as antidotes! Same day walk ins too. All love for him.
S. Chenault: I’ve been going to this doctor since 1972. And his office has not changed since 1972. I drive 30 minutes one-way to him because he is the only vet that I will allow to see my animals. I had a 19 year old cat that only he cared for.Then I had a Shitzu that weighed 5 ounces when born. The owners gave the dog to me because I thought that the dog was going to die. Because of Doc, she is now four years old, weighing a whopping 9 pounds. She is and healthy and active and getting it all kinds of trouble thanks to this doctor.

Shaun Rick: My dog got infected after fighting with a stray cat. Her leg swelled up and she could barely walk and ran a fever. You could tell she was sick and miserable. We called and drove all around to veterinarian's clinics but no one would see her unless the same day. But when we called Cowan Veterinary Hospital the doctor said come in. The doctor was nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Over 30yrs experience and it showed immediately. He look over my dog, let us know what the issue was then gave her a shot and not even 15mins later the swelling started going down. Buy the time we left she was walking much better, gain more energy and started becoming her normal playful self. I'm pretty sure we found a new permanent veterinarian. I highly recommend this place.

Chero Shanna: I was enjoying great experiences giving great ratings to get the stress of losing Majick off my mind. then my reviews asked how was my visit to Cowan Vet my visit was horrible. shortly after a night spent and day of surgery sadly Majick passed away. she was winning loud couldn’t walk her legs were weak in the back. she went gracefully looking at me sadly saying goodbye her last moment concerning about my feelings. our entire family is still devastated over this sudden death of a lifelong companion .The next Monday I visited Cowan from calling and visiting all weekend to talk to Mr Cowan to let him know that I had been calling since Majick arrived home and passed shortly after. I paid almost close to 1000 dollars for her surgery and a few other procedures one of removal of a abscess on her tooth that wasn’t removed. I asked for half of my money back I was given 100 dollars and a hug and no explanation to tell my children what happen to magic .Mr Cowan shook his head and said I don’t know it could have been a number of things .
