Moosejaw: what do users think?
Thengine: Called to speak about new skis. Was put on perpetual hold twice, and on my third call the lady said that I should look at the website or drive in instead of asking her questions over the phone. Go to another store that cares about its customers.
Crystal Lyn Johnson: Great store ♥️♥️to shop for sporting goods 👏🏽👏🏽.
Giovanni Lucia II: Free beer Fridays!!!!
keith wisdom: good
Patrick Conner: Place is the best to buy anything and everything.
Suraya: I was accused of shoplifting here because I put the pants I tried on in the dressing room back on the rack instead of giving it to the sales associate guy. they checked my bags and everything and were so rude to me. Literally have never been this embarrassed in my life. They handled the situation so badly.
JAHN CLOUD™: WHAT CAN I SAY...ITS MOOSEJAW
Chris O: Moosejaw is filled with everything you could possibly need for your outdoor adventure and probably has a hundred things you don't need but desperately want 🤣 for real though... The place is really cool, the people are always amazing inside and there is a ton of Detroit and Michigan inspired merchandise. What more could you want??👍
David Efros: They were so helpfull getting my daughter a sleep pad to PCT in california. When it went to wrong address, they re-sent another one immediately. Anya was so grest, keeping track of everything and seemed to be really concerned aboutmy daughter. I wiil definately go there again when I need anything for my camping excursions
N A: My service dog and I went in to get some gear for my upcoming first hike! They were more than friendly, treated both of us great! But they treated my Zoey like a queen! She’s exhausted from all the pets and love, even got our pic on the wall! 10/10 would recommend!
Dorisann Washington: I stop by Moosejaw. for thw 1st time.& it was "Great" everything for outdoors type, I will be back
D Nalls: The service here is great. Went above and beyond to help me find a Vest jacket and get it delivered to the store.
Norman Witte III (Meph): Only place that ever carried a winter hat that fits my giant head
Marley Kaufman: Staff is friendly, and they are covid secure. They carry a variety of clothing, a selection of boots, and smaller odds and ends of gear. However you can talk to them about the products and they can backorder anything into the shop for you!
Ryan Powell: I love Moose jaw and this location has great employees
TJ Kane: Helpful people and they let you browse. I bought an awesome winter coat in May and wore it for the first time Monday.
Tony Ventimiglia: I got a nice vest. It showed up next day at my house instead of 2 days.
Jason Smith: I walked into Moosejaw for the Lighthouse Lantern. They didn't have it in stock but would ship it to me. The attendant was cool, and laid-back. He stated I should get it in 2 to 3 days. No cost for shipping. This was a Thursday. I expected to get the Lantern on Tuesday before my camping trip on Thursday. Nope! I received it the next day! Friday! Man, that was great service, and the Lantern is so bright. Thank you Moosejaw!10/1/20Just got back from camping in Hocking Hills,OH. This lantern is Awesome! Very bright! Kept it on dim during the evening if we had to get up in the middle of the night. Used it for two evenings, and it still has 4 bars of energy! Oh yeahhhh! A keeper!
setoria davis: Comfortable settings I enjoyed it clearance rack
Dan Martin: Cool little set up, felt like i was walking into a Corky's that only sold clothes, i expected alot more based on what website has to offer. Drove over an hour to take 5 minutes to browse the whole place. I guess I'll stick to the website.
G* STAR: Excellent staff, great selection of apparel and loved the setting of the store. We visited in January and were very impressed. A must visit in Detroit.

DYNO Detroit Climbing: what do users think?
Roland Amarteifio: Love this Gym! Great staff, routes and atmosphere. I just wish they opened earlier in the morning so I could get my climb in before work.
Riley Ketvirtis: I love coming to dyno! There is a great selection of climbing routes for all different abilities. The routes are changed pretty often so there is Always a new challenge. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and informative. Dyno is a great place to learn and push yourself to new heights! 🧗‍♀️🧗
Kayla: Had an amazing experience here the other day. We came on a weekday which was perfect for us beginners less crowded. Carolina was really sweet and explained everything well during our tour. The owner Dino was also very personable and encouraging.Side note- I’m in no way shape or form super athletic or thin. As a plus size gal, I was worried about a few things but, shortly, I realized this place is very inclusive, and the instructors were encouraging overall. It seemed that all body types and athletic levels were welcomed here. It was exciting to try something new and feel very welcomed. We will be back!!
MD M: DYNO detroit climbing is amazing. Good ambient, good people, good staff. Ive been climbing in many diferents climbing gyms in US and Spain and DYNO has the perfect combination. The most remarkable point is the routteseters. They build with logic and the most important thing, both the rutes and the boulders are very fun. This is very important. Again my congrats. Keep going.Marcos
Owen Mills: Such a great place! Staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Great sense of community. Every single staff member is very kind and charismatic. They make sure to make everyone feel welcomed. I’ve been a member for a few months now and I’m excited every time to go.
Dilluhn: LOVE THIS PLACE!!!Just got back from Dyno for the first time and it was an absolutely amazing experience. My friend and I are complete beginners and we were able to do a lot and learn a lot!The environment and workers are so friendly and inviting! No intimidation at all!1000% coming back if I could give it 10 stars I would!
Bryan Devan: Great climbing gym in the Detroit metro area. The building is super nice and there are many climbing and bouldering walls.
Kristin Pelletier: Owners feel like hosts at this rock gym - especially welcoming and helpful.
rob montgomery: Awesome place to visit. My 13 year old son loved it.
Ping Zhou: Awesome establishment. Lots of space all around and ton of bouldering problems. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is very chill. Lots of climbers of all levels, making the place feel welcoming and comfortable to all. Membership perks, which includes yoga, bring a first time friend for free, one returning friend per month pass, and discounts on merchandise makes it totally worth it. Oh, and the owner always brings his adorable Chihuahua in. This is my favorite place in all of Detroit.
Dustin Gibson: Used to live around detroit area and climbed at planet rock while I lived there. Moved away for work and Dyno opened up a year or so later. I come back occasionally to visit friends in the area and have climbed at dyno multiple times while returning.LOVE the setting, the gym layout and that they are working on a cafe setup. Staff is super friendly.Recently left some shoes and a chalk bag while visiting and the staff was super helpful coordinating it to be dropped off by my place in northern KY! (Someone from detroit making their way to the red river gorge)Highly recommend!
Calum Bryans: Best climbing gym in south east Michigan. Great route setting, staff is friendly, gym is clean and spacious. I'd live here if they would rent me a closet.
Neal Captain: If you're looking for a climbing gym that will exceed your expectations, Dyno Detroit is the place to go! The gym is truly exceptional - top-notch in every way. The first thing you'll notice is how clean and well-maintained the facility is.In addition to being immaculate, the gym features some of the best route setting I've ever seen. Each wall has a variety of routes to choose from, ranging from beginner-friendly to challenging and technical climbs. The staff at this gym are excellent too - they are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you with any questions you might have. They do a great job at providing a fun and safe environment for climbers of all levels.Overall, Dyno Detroit is a fantastic climbing gym that I highly recommend to anyone looking to up their climbing game or just have a great time climbing indoors.
Breanna Wagner: Good orientationLots of levelsVery clean
Kevin Kurasik: If you want to go climbing I would recommend not wasting your time or money at this establishment
Margaret Whitfield: CHAMP!!!
Syed S. Qadri: Had a great experience with my 7 year old son. Quick and clear instructions prior to starting the first time. Multiple levels available from beginner to advanced. We are looking forward to going again soon.
Alex: Incredible staff and fantastic facility.
Greg Eakins: This is a large climbing gym with a huge bouldering area with routes of all types and quite a few top rope options as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and got us on the walls pretty quickly after an orientation. We are experienced climbers and the ratings are definitely on the harder side here.Being one of the few climbing places around, it does get very crowded. However, the bouldering area was large enough that we were able to find appropriate routes away from the crowds just fine. All of their climbs are accurate in the Kaya app, so major plus there. They also have a cool little hand care station for any hand damage you end up with.
Debra Levine: Love this gym! The staff and owner are so welcoming and kind! They strongly focus on safety and the gym feels very inclusive of different skill levels, ages, and body types. The gym is clean, and the routes are fun and interesting! I wish I lived closer! My friends have set up a carpool group to make the 45 minute drive more sustainable. Thanks, Dyno!
Andy Miller: I found myself in Detroit for 24 hours to get a rushed passport (long story) but I had time to kill. Luckily I brought my gear ahead of time but the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating to my surprise trip to Detroit. The walls and routes are great fun and everything is very clean and pristine. The protein bites are awesome and the vibes of this place are what a climbing gym should be. Kudos for being awesome

Justin Mayer: Great outdoor shop. The staff is super friendly and helpful, which makes for a great retail experience.
Kyle Hopper: If you're an outdoors enthusiast looking for great gear from a lot of different brands that isn't REI (nothing against REI), this shop is fantastic. They have an absolutely fantastic rewards program (10% back on all purchases), price matching, and return policy. The staff are all very friendly. Only real downside is the parking is a pain off Woodward.
Ant Iri: Love the quality.

She took more time to explain what to expect from this experience and how help my son enjoy his scout experience. I will only shop at this location.

All Seasons Outdoor Equipment: what do users think?
Vince Padula: GreatServiceBrought it in 2 days agoAnd it was all ready doneToday220 21Great job all season
Jon Sadowitz: Just had the rudest experience as my wife went in to have them put an after market carb on a Troy built weed wacker, they were demeaning, laughed that it was a Chinese and said they wouldn't put it on.They wanted to charge me more for a new carb $100 + than I paid for the weed wacker new.Would not allow me to pay for labor for the install.Totally unprofessional, and rude, won't be doing business with this business anymore.
Kingsley Ifezue: Great service fixed my chainsaw in 5 seconds
Wendy Blackwell: Needed a lawnmower battery, so I went to All Season's Outdoor Equipment to purchase one. When I got there, they were closed, but Ernie, the salesman, actually opened for me to purchase my battey!!! Great customer service and reasonable pricing! My battery even came with a warranty! Will definitely be back for more lawn equipment. Thank you again Ernie!😊🙏🏽
Steve LaCombe: Helped with some hard to find generator parts to get us back up and running. Thank you for your help!
Brian De Busschere: Always helpful.
J Sk: Really good people that work there, and service is great a long with great parts and Prices , Great job guys 👍
mike check: The customer service is Great if you have a question about your mower they spend the time to explain how to fix it and the parts needed very knowledgeable very Helpful.
Alfredo Francesconi: do good work
Brian Kadets: Outstanding service and repairs get done in a timely fashion
Joseph Kopytek: Very knowable and great service
Charlie Mack: Although they didn't have our part, they tried very hard to match us up with no resolve so they directed us to a different supplier. I love those guys for the augmentation
Edwanik Johnson: This place is the worst. One guy completely ignores you and although the other had better service. He gave us the absolute wrong information on a Exmark we paid over $7k for. Told us we could bring it back if we had any problems within 30 days. We did have a problem and they wouldn’t even look at the rider. They told us we had to go through Exmark. Everything we’ve bought from this store gave us problems within 90 days and the one guy don’t make you feel like your welcomed.
Michael Z: Has parts on hand also can order the parts thanks for getting my equipment
Randy Jobin: Seems to be a pretty decent place. They had what I needed and have great service
Chuck Harley: Very rude and rip people off.charged me 80 dollars to put a spark plug and air filter in my edger
Patty Dubrish: Great place to go.Very helpful and k knowledgeable.
Jack Daniel: Go to Wiengartz you will be amazed at the difference in service and price. The people that work here are all pole smokers. The owner ernie is the worst of them all. No respect act like your bothering them by shopping there. Slow as hell give you the wrong parts for 15 percent more then anywhere else. I wouldn’t even consider leaving my equipment here for repairs as the do engine work outside next to the dumpster. Just look behind the fence before you go in and I’ll bet you will go anywhere else. Simply pathetic.
Tim Tuohey: Ernie services all makes and models for your landscape needs. Ask for Amsoil.
Bobby Higgins: Huge waste of time and way too expensive. The guys at the counter are rude as hell. I was the only person in the store, and it took them five minutes to finish their conversation that they were having before they decide to ask me what I wanted or needed.
Bob Mckenna: great guys

REI: what do users think?
Ahmed Anwarullah: I had the pleasure of receiving exceptional assistance from Matt, an outstanding employee at REI. Originally from Colorado, Matt’s passion for the outdoors and extensive knowledge of outdoor gear truly shone through during my recent visit. He went above and beyond to provide me with invaluable guidance and recommendations, ensuring that I found the perfect gear for my upcoming adventure. His friendly demeanor, expertise, and genuine dedication to customer satisfaction made my experience at REI truly memorable. I highly recommend seeking out Matt’s assistance for all your outdoor gear needs.
Kevin Lodish: Guys at the bike shop are awesome and really take care of you and your MTB
Mary Campbell: Husband returned some warm weather bike pants flawlessly. Everyone were so helpful. Great discounts. Still the best place for bike stuff.April 2023, got my new water bracket and water bottle today and they are such a great store, used all our bonus points. Yippee.
Elaine Pearson: REI never fails me! The customer service is impeccable and helpful each & every single time. I’m a new camper and I walked out there more broke than when I walked in but listen…not only did REI take all my money but I walked out of there with every single piece of equipment I needed and so much knowledge and comfort in this new adventure. Todd is the MAN!! He was patient and awesome working with me! He had me try out the sleeping bags, the pads, explaining options and didn’t mind while I asked question after question. I don’t care what anyone says, REI is my go-to!
Bryan Eiseman: Store is always very clean and well organized. We are regularly helped by Todd and he is phenomenal - consistently chipper and incredibly friendly.
Scott Herzog: I haven’t been to the Troy store lately but wanted to express my appreciation for an online order that was delivered to my old address. REI stepped up tremendously and re-ordered my items and shippped them immediately to my new address. Unbelievable customer service and outstanding positive company composure and communication. I’ve been with them 19 years and will continue to tell people to shop here. Absolutely amazing service!
glen suszko: A great place for all your outside activities equipment.
DeShawn Hayes: I’ll never shop at any other outdoor store after my experience here. Staff is friendly and PRESENT you can actually find team members to talk to. They have everything you can think of for your adventures even some items you wouldn’t think you needed. Great sales and a cool program you can enroll in for the deals.
Richard Nave: Great stuff. Love the employees. With the member discount it is a great value. I always look forward to the garage sales.Great help with bikes.
Todd: Nice place. Was searching for some ice and rock climbing info, and learned more from the climbing girl in 20 minutes, than I did 3 hours on YouTube.Gave me a hands on equip tour and answered all my questions. Thanks
John Dissimo: Barbara needs to wash her hands. Yes Barbara, you sell outdoor gear but you need to use both soap+water after using the restroom because it’s available to you in this bathroom (this is Troy, not a campground in the upper peninsula), it is a typical Michigan winter and flu/cold season, and DUH you are still a customer representative for REI. Disgusting.
Dominic Carino: Snow was sticking to my cross country skis, so I went into the Troy REI looking for wax. I haven't had a stick of snow since using the wax, that the incredibly helpful employees recommended for me to use. Thanks a ton! My cross country experience just got WAY better!
Jennifer Blackford: The employee that helped show my husband, daughter and I interested items was very helpful, friendly and well informed. I did not get his name sadly but he was very helpful showing us the light weight chairs, and a few other items as well.
hussein Alawsi: One of the best shops their membership is mostly free you pay 20$ a year and they give you gift card with 20$.
Denise Denis: Great person at the register, Emily was very helpful.
Agatha Pawlikowski: Came in to pick up an online order and ask basic questions about buying some new skis. One particular dude at the ski counter was so rude in his response... left really disappointed in REI
antony portuguez: The best camping gear and the most affordable biking options. Great offers for members
J V: Always helpful and always has the right stuff for the job at hand. Reliable and friendly staff. The same great place! I still have stuff from them from the 80's and it works as good as the day I got it.
Jessica Oleskie: Always have great experiences with this location. The staff is the most helpful and honest, it truly makes you feel great as a member and customer to know they want to find you the best equipment for what you are personally seeking. Kyle was the representative in the back that was immensely knowledgeable and extremely helpful, Alexander was our representative in the front who cashed us out and was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Love how their member garage sale location is. We are very pleased and highly recommend this location.
Bobbi: In addition to having superior equipment, this particular location has quality customer service as well. 10/15/22 I made a purchase and didn’t notice until I was already home that I was charged incorrectly. I called the store to explain what happened, hoping I didn’t have to drive the hour back. Jessica Bertollini very promptly handled my issue, requiring her to go above and beyond any standard protocol. The customer service I received from her that day (and the day after) was outstanding, and I’m going to do my best to give my business to the Troy location solely from this experience. Thank you again so much Jessica! Just incredible.
Michael Hickey: Great stuff at this place, plus helpful service for when I had trouble finding a few things. I ought to be a member.

Planet Rock Climbing Gym: what do users think?
Luke Demo: it's a decent gym, probably top 70%. the wall angles are dope. need to reset more; some feet are so slick and fingers actually were turning black from the rubber/grime. grading is kinda all over the place, but that's like a lot of gyms. pretty soft up to ~v7 then it's really hit or miss. some accurate, some up or down a grade, but around v7-9 it starts to mirror outdoor difficultly. kind of feels like they don't have a bunch of strong climbers forerunning? some 6s are more like 4s, same with a few 5s that are like 3s. anything that mirrors technical outdoor climbing is very ...forgiving, but your overhung jug/crimp haul is more or less par for the course on the grades. thought the setting was pretty good though! could just use better grading. and maybe a tension or fricticious hangboard rather than the old/gimmicky stuff.
Dax Billcheck: So much fun!
Olivia Eddy: Have been a member here for years, love the environment and great community of climbers. They should bring back the crank nights and bring a buddy day so we can get friends more involved in the activity.
MH Shin: Like the sign on the wall “Did you clip in”.Safety, and fun walls.
Devin Cleveland-Stein: Did the intro session with some friends. The staff were very knowledgeable and made it simple to learn the basics. For $45 it included the gear rental, the class, entry for the day as well as entry for one additional day.
T mei: It was the best!! We had such a blast. Me personally I liked the bouldering.
Manuel Pumarada: I went with my daughter and her friends. First time in 6 or 7 years. They gave me a refresher. A thorough refresher. I climbed a couple of times the tall but easier ones (5.7 and 5.8 in case that means something to you). Anyway, the employees were friendly. The place is well kept. It has a decent gym. The $20 fee covered both. They also have a coffee shop, a fireplace. It's a pretty chill place. Get a workout while having fun with friends.
Sean Hunter: Great time. Instructor was thorough. Clean place with gear for purchase. Not too crowded. It's a pretty large place to begin with. All around I have no complaints at all. Get out there and climb! (Safely of course).Still awesome all these years later.
Karli Raimondo: Great gym and a huge facility. PR has been a staple for Michigan climbing for years. They bring a strong kids team to the national stage and they have very classic climbing style routes. All the climbers there are super nice and the community is great. The reason for 4 is that all of the great things about PR are overshadowed by the immense access/paywall to climbing that they provide.Specifically, in order to have access to their facility you must take a belay certification which costs an additional 50$ and 120 minutes of climbing time.PR has an extensive bouldering area and and personally I just boulder. It’s a shame.I often introduce people to the sport I love but I always have to skip PR and go to Dyno instead to have people come join me to climb.I hope that they change it so just bouldering is an option.
william kemp: Love this place. I try to make it once a week. it’s a great workout
Tomer Assaf: Pros:- It's a climbing gym in Michigan, you don't have much choice- Actual facility is spacious with toping out on the boulders- Has some basic barbell gym equipmentCons:- Place is filthy, even by climbing standards. They don't really enforce "don't go to the bathroom with climbing shoes on"- Routes often stay up for several months, get taken down with no schedule- Broken equipment (lifting eqp, water fountain, cubbies) stays broken for years- Chunk of the staff is just straight up aggressively rude...luck of the draw who you get :(- Only gym ever to require pricey 2 hour intro lesson on top roping before you can boulder. No exceptions- Have lied in attempt to charge me extra fees. Just sort of sleazy business practices.- Does not take safety seriously, allows the birthday party kids to run amok under climbersTake away:Now that Dyno in Detroit is open, skip this mediocre-at-best experience. Planet Rock has a lot of potential in its facility, but squandered by its poor staff and worse operations.
Rahul Singh: A+ great place to learn or advance your skills. Truly feel you are not judged here and everyone is helpful or learning themselves. Staff have always been friendly to work with. Check their website for training classes, prices etc. only downside is it can tend to get to crowded but goes to show climbing’s popularity is increases. Compared to their location in AA, I think this one has more room, more walls etc. it does feel more crowded since the bouldering area and climbing walls are all basically in the same area.
Alan Kaliszewski: Great place to climb!
Chelsea: We had a great first experience today during our starter lesson. I do not have any experience with climbing equipment, but our instructor did a great job guiding us through the basics of climbing and belaying, stressing safety measures along the way. Though we did not have time to stay and climb after our lesson today, we will definitely be back in the next few days to put the basics we learned to the test!
Len Lasook: Staff don’t smile… it’s like they didn’t want to be there! Not a warm welcoming place. Nice gym though, likely won’t go back to this location.
Shelby Wager: I had a fantastic time rock climbing with our instructor Nate. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient, and really helped me feel comfortable and confident as I learned the ropes (literally!). His attention to safety was top-notch, and he made sure to carefully explain and demonstrate proper techniques before we got started. The climbing itself was a lot of fun, and I feel like I learned a lot in just one session. I'm definitely looking forward to more rock climbing in the future, and I have Nate to thank for making my first experience such a positive one. Overall, I highly recommend Nate as an instructor for anyone interested in trying rock climbing. He is an exceptional teacher and a great asset to the climbing community.
Joseph Hampel: Lots of fun! We did the beginner's class and then climbed for a little while after. The instructors were really great, the facility was large with lots of options, more than enough room for everyone there, and we look forward to climbing again!
Michael Arwashan: No frills solid gym
dave lim: I'm a first timer at this climbing gym. It seemed to be top rope/lead climbing focused. The main autobelay section is on the short walls unfortunately, with one autobelay on the high walls. One of the autobelay sections has a spray wall which i haven't seen in other gyms. So I definitely recommend bringing a partner, or be comfortable to ask for a belay to get the most out of the gym. There were two small bouldering areas. I didn't like the mats because they are the plastic type and my home gym had more of a cloth top which is much more comfortable. Routes here are graded and written on the start tape with the route setters name. Not as easily identifiable as other gyms i've been to that grade the routes by color. Other unique parts of the gym, they had ice climber training poles, a crack and offset width route. First timers can skip the class if they can pass the belay test. I made the mistake thinking i had to take the first timer class since it was my first time at gym, but they were happy to refund. I found the staff friendly and helpful and made me feel welcomed as a first timer.
Kit Lane: Hours are wack. Never seen a gym that closed at 6pm on weekends. Unfriendly to new climbers. Setters are okay, but they don’t change the routes enough. Boulders are closed often. Youth competition kids are prioritized over members. 90% of the employees are rude and unhelpful.
