The Fillmore Detroit: what do users think?
Shanice Wright: Always have great shows
Cathy L: Visited this venue to see Harry Mack - woot, woot! The venue is beautiful, and ranks high in the design and architecture of venues I have visited. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. It is easy to get to and parking can be found easily. There are many food options in close proximity, so it is easy to park and walk for an evening out.
Charlene Hardon: The Fillmore Detroit is such a beautiful venue with great vibes. Ella Mai was AMAZING! I'm so happy I was able to experience her live in concert after all of these years
Sarah Springer: Music sounded good, bar staff were super nice.Paid for general admission tickets, it costs $20 if you want to sit down in a seat. Was not told vapes were not allowed and was yelled at by staff for using one when no one was aware.$5 for a water, $10 for mixed drink, $10 for a shot.
Camiyah Blackmon: The staff there are A1! Helped us change our seats to really good ones and were very kind.
Sarah Webster: Thank you Ryan.
Supa Emcee: Best place on the Planet!!!
Alexis Bayne: Not safe. It was packed and I felt like I was going to pass out and there is nowhere to sit down. It costs $80 to sit at a table. Unreal
Martin Gonyeau: The lines for drinks can be the most frustrating at other venues, but I had the best experience at the Lil Wayne concert!! I lucked out and ended up in a line that was super quick all night! I believe her name was Morgan. Great staff, and I love coming to shows here!
Michael Jennings: Old venue, but a classic. Sound is always on point, and has great ease of access. There is also a lot of parking very close by, and within walking distance of several restaurants
Squirrel 2020: This was my first time in Detroit and the Fillmore was AWESOME!!Really cool and interesting structure, they had a bar up from the main stage, and an outside smoking area for intermission and whatnot. Also the bathrooms were big, and quite clean. There was nothing bad about it for me.
Sean Eman: Great place to see a concert
Leif Gullikson: Very nice upscale venue!
Melanie Pinion: Great sound, great staff.
Zach Schoeneman: It's a nice place in terms of looks and access, but it was extremely humid despite no rain the day prior when I attended and it seriously aggravated my allergies. I enjoyed the concert I attended, but it was extremely hard to get full enjoyment when the environment was bothering me so much. Balcony seat rows are too close together, I essentially had to sit spread eagle the entire time because there's not enough room to put my legs between my seat and the seat in front of me. Parking and everything was good, just the humidty/mustiness and the lack of space between rows was frustrating.
Ryan Miller: Awesome venue! Super nice and the acoustics sounded great!
Carbon Molecules: The venue is nice. The staff was great. The show was great. However, Charging people $5 for a water is absolutely ridiculous. Not only that I wasn’t allowed to buy a cup of water, it had to be “Liquid Death” in a can. Which on its own is a over charged can of water. I would be fine with with the option of that and a cup of water. You have tons of options for alcohol and pop. I don’t drink. I want some water to stay hydrated so I don’t pass out in your venue, and I don’t want to pay $5 per water to prevent that. I tried to bring a single Un-opened water inside with me when I got there, and was told to throw it out at the gate. It’s also super inconvenient to be a cashless venue. Came in with $20 and never spent it because I wasn’t allowed to. Thanks for the show, I’ll be skipping this venue in the future.
Donny Aird: Rachel is an amazing bartender. She keeps the line moving and is always hustling.
Joe Trompen: Beautiful venue, I've been here a few times and always enjoyed it
Lonna Riley: Very beautiful old venue in a great location.
Sofía Syntaxx: Absolutely fantastic customer service! I really cannot say enough good things about the crew, specifically in regards to accessibility accommodations. Big thanks to Mark, David, and the rest of the team! We enjoyed a really special night.10 out of 10 would recommend this venue for a concert or show: friendly bartenders, efficient merch set-up, bathrooms are very clean, and the overall vibe is immaculate. They do not accept cash at the bar, plan accordingly.

Harpos Concert Theatre: what do users think?
Mick Bussdieker: Love the history of this place! So many good shows. Great venue for wrestling too!
Michael LaRue: The fact that this place is still standing is a minor miracle in and of itself. Back in the day, this was the premier metal/hard rock venue in all of Detroit. The crowd and the neighborhood were notoriously hard at the time - This was fine for the time, but as time went on, the metal bands got older too and started performing at other venues in the city. But in a odd rebirth, this place is starting to find a second life as a wrestling venue and I don't see as much animosity between the patrons and neighbors anymore (though that's probably because the crowd at Harpos is more diverse nowadays.) The building is in need of repair, this is what drives the score down, but the drinks are cheap and the entertainment is good. The parking situation is much improved now, so you don't have to worry about getting broken into or anything. If the building were fixed up a bit, I'd amend the score higher.
Jon Chinnery: Great event great experience.
Pebsibhlub (justahmoob): This place should be condemned. No heat. No hot water. Floors feels like you're about to fall in. Roofs ceilings dropping chunks of cement's. Smells like mold. Etc...I can't expect much from a dump but at least be humane and shut this place down.
Kristi Gilson: Harpos the best Detroit hard rock venue of all time. I saw DIO, Pantera, Suicidal tendencies, and Slip Not. Need l say more!!
Su Feng Yang: Worst place I've ever been for a concert. No heat, the ceiling was falling down and the bathrooms were flooded. Horrible place to go to if you're gonna go watch someone perform.
M Yang: Attended a concert there over the weekend and had the worst experience ever! Place was run down, ceiling particles falling down on people, moldy stinch, no warm water in bathroom sinks, nasty flooded bathrooms, no heat, no light, gridlock parking, bar chair had nails sticking up on seat - the worst venue I have ever experienced in my life! Is it even safe to open for the public?!!
Ezra Odin: Owner was rude, heat went out the day before the show and no one was informed, kerosene heaters used inside filled the room with fumes
Trevor Homrich: Smells terrible of mold but cool place
No Competition: This was a really nice place to see a concert.
Seth Aguinaga: Great concerts, but the service is only ok.
Rob battlecryawesome: Filthy gross.
Paul Donnelly: We are very perfessional plumber s that will go above and beyond for our customers if I can't do the job I will request my supervisor to come out and if my supervisor can't figure the job out the owner of Armstrong will come and figure the problem out his self
Orlaith Jamieson: But the staff were super nice, crowd was great, and the sound was INCREDIBLE!!
cal14th: Perfect grungy place! Lax rules for exactly the kind of events that are at Harpos. One of my favorite venues in Detroit!
angel Hart: Mixed emotions cause the show I s seen was great and it had nice vendors. However the actual building itself is falling apart and could barely handle the bass from the speakers. I know they working on the building.I sat at a table that had ✨something✨ on it when I arrived but it was dark and I couldn't tell, just assumed someone didn't get to wipe the table off so I did. Later noticed I was sitting right under a crack in the ceiling. Nothing new or concerning to me since most of the venues in Detroit are older and being remodeled. Throughout the night as the artist playing got louder, my friend mentioned they felt something dirty fall from the ceiling into her face, I just brushed it off. Then we returned to our table and it was almost covered in the ✨ something✨ I had wiped off. It was dust and dirt falling from the crack in the ceiling above us..I understand y'all are working on the venue to make sure it can still be used, however steps should be made to assure the people attending are safe and not disturbed by the work bring done. What if I had drinks on my tablet?? I would've drinken that dirt without even knowing, or what if the dirt from the other cracks feel into my friends eye instead of on her face???
Dale Armbruster: Great venue
Chef Flugz: Great music but cold no heat
Chris Sinclair: It cud use some updates
Reggie Bayless: Good
Commy Comentor!!!: 5 stars... saw ESHAM and MASTAMIND and had the absolute time of my life... the sound system SLAMMMSSS!!! they even lit up the disco dance floor... SO damn cool... thank you HARPOS!!! I'll be back for sure!!

Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts: what do users think?
Scott Spellman: Intimate 500 seat concert venue with stellar sound. A wide variety of world music and cultural performances.
Chelly Pooh: Absolutely enjoyed the performance, but aesthetically they need help They need to resubmit ceilings paint ceilings clean chairs if you just happen to get stuck up at the top of the balcony it is the worst You would think the ceiling is going to fall on you
Joe Tyrrell: Wonderful historic small theater in the heart of the entertainment district. Dixie Longate was hilarious.
Mark Erichson: Nice, comfortable, mid-sized theater. Classic old architecture and decor. Tiny lobby, with Aretha's - a very nice little cocktail lounge - off it.
Daniel Church: Great venue for live music!
Jonathan S: In town for a week from London and were lucky enough to see the Stylistics and Spinners at the Music Hall. Great concert at fantastic venue - like stepping back in time to the music and venue's heyday. Met lots of really friendly locals too which made it a special night.
Lanee Hatten: So nice
Todd Bostwick: As Detroit continue it's ascendance to awesomeness, Detroit Music Hall is yet another locale that can only add to the classiness and list of growing venues the Detroit Metro area offers. The concert was amazing (KC & the Sunshine Band), the staff and bar folks charming and equally classy, and the overall experience was wonderful. Will definitely be back for future events for certain. Make sure you give it a go - as Detroit retains the history, class and puts effort into keeping magical places like this where so many other cities tend not to.
Joan Herbert: Great venue! Lots of history and beautiful
Mike Millward: Great venue!! Not a bad seat
terrance hodge: One of Detroit's gems.
Sandi: KC and the Sunshine Band was awesome. The place is beautiful. Way too many steps for us older people. Overall, I'd come back again. Not a bad seat in the place
Twan Squad: Gotta Love This Venue... Always Good Vibes And Everyone Is Very Friendly!!
tamekia nash-walls: Food at the Jazz Cafe was decent.
Deborah Germany: Classicly beautiful theater space. Convienient structure parking. Very walkable with restaurants and attractions clustered near buy.
Lisa Kai: LOVE THE MUSIC HALL; LOVE THE MANY PERFORMERS THAT HAVE GRACED THIS VENUE!WONDERFUL!!!
Thisisme CantUC: This place is falling apart. Look up and see the plaster and paint falling off. And why was it so much smoke coming from the light's on stage, don't the have fan's to cool the lights? I thought it was a fire starting. Let's talk about the seats from hell. The seats are so close and uncomfortable, your blood will stop flowing in your legs. Spirit airline seats feels like heaven compared to these seats. I'm 5"4 and it hurt my knees sitting there. And don't think about wearing a dress , the person seated in front of you don't have to try very hard to see up it. I was ready to leave before the play was over, but we wasn't the only one with that ideal, 8 people tried to, but The elevator stop working and we all had to go down 4 very dark floors(no lights on) to get out this death trap. I don't won't to die, so I won't be back till they put some money into this place and make it safer and more comfortable than it is.
Trina Hutchings: I was very disappointed with the snack options and I don't believe you could take the food to your seat so I paid an arm and a leg for a 99 cent can of Pringles and $1 Water oh & my girl got a drink the total was $46 🤣😂🤣
Joya Mills: Beautiful venue. Excellent acoustics. Nice roomy seats but the cushions are worn. The seats are the reason I did not give 5 stars.
Mark Anthony: Had a great time at the Music Hall. Excellent acoustics and intimate setting.
Joanne Parks: Enjoyed a concert there, but they definitely need to replace their seats. Too low and too close. My husband's knees were uncomfortable the entire time.

Saint Andrew’s Hall: what do users think?
Robert Biggs: Not much bad to say. This is my favorite concert venue. Great people good location VIP options.
bellmore1987: One of my favourite venues in Detroit for concerts, great sound, great size for a more personal experience!
Jason R: Very good concert venue. I would recommend the upper balcony upgrade, the view and bar up there are great!
Angela Dodge: My favorite concert venue by a long shot!!!! ❤️
Amanda Leon: Love the venue, the staff are all super nice! Will definitely be here for shows often!
Sarahny Chhom: Last night I enjoyed the performance I saw here, but the security was a letdown. After using the washroom in the lower level, I was instructed to leave the building on the opposite side. Being from outside of Detroit, I wasn’t familiar with the area so I was absolutely lost. I just wanted to go to the main entrance and find my boyfriend and his friend, I had to follow people around. When I arrived there the security gave me an attitude as I approached the front of the establishment and told me that I was not permitted to stand on the pavement. I had no clue they were trying to move things around as the staff didn’t say excuse me or let me know what they were doing until the moment I was standing for a short period of time. They were rude and wouldn't let me talk. I was only trying to wave at my boyfriend since I saw him from a distance in the hall.
Hailey Chevalier: This place was absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back for another show!
Ben Bridges: Love this spot have go back I missed yelawolf show but got see many legends devin the dude young dro and tyga some of them FYI u can't smoke fattys in front stage hahahah nice one cussin
Sophia Stahl: We just saw Theo katzman, I hadn't been to st Andrews since the remodel but it looks great! They built a new bar at the shelter and everyone is super on their game. Great staff, great vibes. Glad to see the building is back in good condition :)
Ema: Went to the set it off : dopamine tour and it was amazing, my first Concert and the venue was amazing also there was a lot a room for dancing and standing.
Janette Flores: Pretty big venue. Came here for gimme gimme disco and it was extremely cold at first. Once the show started it was all good. There are some parking areas near by that Def won't take more than 2 min to walk. They have alot of security and are very strict about minors drinking. If caught you will be immediately asked to leave. Bar only takes card but they do provide straws 😆
Jessie Schwerin: I went to Saint Andrew's Hall for a Set it Off concert. The space was tight, but still an amazing experience. Beautiful building and loved the lights and tech.
Mali: Daughter enjoyed her concert.
JoLee G.: Incredible venue! All staff were amazing! My friend was immediately spotted for ADA and we had an amazing and safe time. It was very appreciated because the crowd was wild! The security looked to handle it with extreme grace and expertise. Everything about the venue was stellar. A magical time!
Joel Watson: I like this venue a lot...lots of parking nearby, reasonable prices on drinks, excellent stage lighting, and pretty good acoustics
Mr E: Great venue! Peezy is the boy too!!
Ayeekellss: Ive been here a couple times now! My most recent trip however was the Pouya concert! My overall experience has been great with my couple concerts here, the security in my section was absolutely amazing. I never been to a concert where they hand out water majority of the concert. That was honestly really helpful and amazing. The parking was also great! My group parked right outside and used our phones to pay, super convenient and close!
Reginald Elliott: Amazing
Angela Hunter: Just saw Pouya, Fat Nick, and Kxllswxtch the other night and this was the first time I've been to this venue. It's an awesome looking building. The security and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Loved that there was a downstairs with a bar and some space to get away from the crowd if you wanted to, yet they broadcast the concert to the screen down there so you could still watch it which was awesome! I really enjoyed my time there and I hope to see another concert here soon!
Joshua Hoffman: Great place to see the action. Was near the front door Plini concert. Easy parking at bricktown lot of blue cross. Great food options nearby, went with pizza cat and the sounds, vibes and atmosphere were exactly what I wanted. Took my son and we had a great night together

Magic Stick: what do users think?
Emily R: The pizza is amazing! The atmosphere is so awesome! My bf introduced me and I can't wait to go back!!
Max Lennon: Decent venue. They charge for a cup of water or will give you a cup of ice and tell you to fill it up in the disgusting bathroom. Not sure that’s legal.
Kabana XO: I’m pretty sure not serving free tap water is illegal and unethical.
Matt Wendt: Had a Pabst, ate Sargent Pepperoni medium pizza. Bowled a 68. Life is good
Toni Johnson: The place was to small or over booked 6 people to a lane is crazy and using the same ball return for both lanes also with 6 people loved the music and the tv's needs more room but I had a great time.
Ashlee Goovaerts: Fun atmosphere!
Robert Waters: It's awesome!
Morgan: Cool music venue! Good selection of drinks
Mike Gurney: Lit per usual
Rico Lawns: Magic Stick over everything !!!!!!
Felice Baker: It was ok. I didn't like there was 6 of us and we had to bowl out of 1 lane. The game took 1hr and that's all we could play.
Monique: Went on a school trip , had alot of fun the service was great and the food was great as well overall a really pretty set up
Jen German: Super fun.
Jamison Mosshart: A dang staple, went to my first concert here in 2002. Good sound, excellent patio and reasonable drink prices for a venue. The bar staff always treats me with gritty kindness and is on top of getting drinks out. Love this spot.
Nicolas Vimard: Went to see Tinlicker last Saturday, great venue for private concert. The line up of DJ was great as well!
Tom Distler: Drink your water, avoid alcohol, smile, be kind, good vibes
Stacy sunshine: Always the best time
Janette Flores: Magic stick is located above garden bowl a very nice venue with a deck available for smoking attached. Has a pool table next to the womens bathroom and a coat check. Very nice place for small events/concerts.
Fetti Bby: Food ok, lanes a little dry, decent service, over booked. Good Location but kind of small
derek john: “Winning!” As Chuck Sheen would say (If he were still with us) about this lovely multi venue experience. Get a slice from Detroit’s famous Sgt. Pepperoni's, grab a Rolling Rock to pair, go roll some rocks at the Garden Bowl then head upstairs to shoot a lil pool and catch a real rock show. Your boyfriend will brag about it to they friends for weeks just like the time you splurged for fast pass tix at Cedar Point. WINNER WINNER SHEEN DINNER
Emi Pixel: The magic stick is such an awesome venue!! I love how it's connected to sgt pepperonis, and how you can get pizza and bring it with you into the concert part of the venue!! This place rocks!

El Club: what do users think?
Ever Eschenweck: So dang hot in here, vibes cool though
Chloe Weaver: Great acoustics and great music
Joel Watson: I like this venue alot...small, but the place is cool, the drinks are reasonable, and the sound is fair, given the size
Gabe Jackson: Sound was good for Roc Marciano, who is the pinnacle of live hip hop. Sounded better live, which is crazy to say
Erica Kalmerton: Great little club. Hard to see as the area where they set up the band can't fit all the people in it. But they do have tvs around broadcasting the performance which helps. Nice outdoor area. Typical club prices for drinks
Ej Dowling: Great venue. Nice vibe. Lack of parking is not terrible due to street parking. Drinks a bit pricey but the orange green tea was delicious. Sold out show meant we couldn't even get into the room. But at least we could semi see from the bar. Outdoor area is nice.
Randy Gray: Great place to see a show. Small and intimate. Sounds great. Everything about this place is cool
1-4 Nitzo: Dope Spot
julie Hines: What a great space!!
John Trummer: This place is dope. My SO's fav band (Weval) had this place on its new album tour...Great vibe, perfectly designed for small concerts.Friendly and fast staff. Keep doing what you're dojng!
Elise Bancroft: Ive been here 2 times. Cool venu! Always way oversold and packed. Makes it hard to enjoy yourself when you can't move your arms 😂 Taco truck across the street is delicious and the bakery next door is amazing! Worth stopping before any show
Joshua Summerlin: Awesome place, will definitely return!
Clara Couvillon: Saw War & Treaty here with William Prince opening the show and it was awesome. Small space but the intimate show was beautiful. War & Treaty brought down the house. Would definitely come back to see a show.
kelly mcdermott: This is a great venue to see a show. I love the character, the bar, and the ceiling is amazing. Totally love that they have an outdoor area too. We saw War & Treaty ... the whole vibe was perfect the whole night. Very mixed crowd of people too.
Leslie Aretakis: Love the venue! I like a more intimate style while listening to indie artists. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
Jonah Roznowski: Over sold shows, unsafe with how oversold their shows are. Avoid going here
Mikal West: Cool smaller music venue.Drink prices pretty average, selection was good. For a sold out show, drink lines were reasonable if you picked your moments. Minimal wait for mens room, looked like a decent line for the ladies room for much of the night.Large outdoor area for smoking or getting some fresh air.Sound is great if you are in the main room, but it was uncomfortably packed for a sold out show. Even if you get a decent spot, it's a huge hassle getting in and out through the crowd to piss or get a drink. From the bar area you can hear the music, yet with poor sound quality and see a grainy imagine of the artist on flat screens. For a show that isn't over sold the place is great.
Art Brownell: Went to War & Treaty concert. Excellent show! They are getting the attention they deserve. Too bad El Club isn't a little larger on the music side for shows like this.
Kurtis Moore: Oversold showsDangerously packed venueSold out shows and they still sell tickets at the doorMoney hungry at the risk of safety
David Birch: Good venue, don't forget hearing protection as it gets LOUD
Abigail Bolen: Really a smaller venue but the vibes were immaculate and we had a lovely time.

Ant Hall: what do users think?
David Feygne: Your spot for independent theater and comedy
Melissa Tews: Patty and Patry in the USA was hilarious !
Angelina Bertoni: Such a great place! Discovered it today while at my Electric Forest Audition ans I vant wait to come back and check out the comedy! Such a cool venue
Chris Casteel: Don't come here! It's just too cool of a venue (theater and bar) and you won't want to leave. Some great local theater and music with adult beverages. Support local theater, comedy and music. Popcorn too
Sherri Newman: A fun friendly relaxed atmosphere with plenty of entertainment. There's so much to do and the entry fee and drink prices are unbeatably cheap.
Sarah Maier: Such a fun theater. We saw Liz Miele here and it was fun to see a more popular artist in this space.
Darrett P: What an eclectic place to be! A bar in one section, a room for comedy in another, and a movie theater/stage. I had a chance to watch Liz Miele at her early show along with some of the opening acts. All in all it was a good time, and a good place to go and be safe!
Ryan Everaert: Great space, great vibes.
Josh Portelli: Awesome place, Awesome staff, you NEED to check it out.
Whitklep: A small space with big vibes and a connected bar.
Katharine Doré: A great welcoming place for all people, my favorite comedy club in metro Detroit. Check out the Independent Comey Club! Always fun karaoke and live bands in the bar, good drink prices, and friendly staff.
Paul Youngs: Cool place! Loved it.
realbc7: Planet Ant Theatre was a great venue for the Paczki Day kickoff. The Polish Muslims kicked it off to a full house, excellent sound system and adjacent to Ghost Light Bar. Plenty of street parking and a few lots nearby make for a decent logistical situation.
Mary Lechkun: Great performances at this venue!
Aubrey Powell: This is one of the best places that can be found in Hamtramck! If you are looking for a fun time definitely check this place out. There were 2 venues in one both with different vibes, all of which were immaculate.Would recommend to friends
Doug Prishpreed: Cool improv theatre that i will definitely be returning too, this is the type of place I have been looking for that I need in my life.
Letitsha Hill: This is a great place for those who are trying to get themselves out there. Beginners that have what it takes to give good entertainment
Adam Whitfield-DeMolen: Arrived early for an 11pm show and hungout for an open mic at the bar. Awesome place. Great people. Good times.
Sheriah Orum: It's nice that there is quite a few different events that can take place at the same time in this building
Chanel Geter: Great shows and people. Community artists thrive here
Jennifer Cavanagh: Planet Ant rules! The theatre brings great energy and unique shows to Detroit. The George Lucas Talk Show live was awesome and I can't wait to see Big Grande this month.
