Brew Detroit: what do users think?
Emily C: This was the first stop in town while I was there for a wedding. All staff was SO kind!! Bartender seemed new & in training - receipt said Connor (hoping that’s him) - but he was so eager to help and thoughtful.Very unsuspecting place; really great! This stop kicked off a fabulous weekend! :)
Nick Winiarski: Disappointing visit between the dry brisket and pulled pork and getting smoked out by employee while trying to eat out side.
Jared Sipes: Last week, the location I'd reserved for my wedding rehearsal/dinner announced they were completely closing their doors. The reservation was for 5/5, and I only had a few days to try to figure out another location. Luckily for us, the first place I reached out to was Brew Detroit. I sent them an email, and less than 30 minutes later, Xena called me to get some more info and asked me to come by the next day to check the place out. By no miracle, the staff here easily helped us pull this off, getting our catering order in and getting us a space to work with even on a day where they had another event scheduled, on top of it being Cinco De Mayo. I couldn't thank them enough for helping take that stress away from me after the initial shock of needing to find a new location. The food was delicious and plentiful, the beers were very very good, and the staff assigned to our group worked their butts off to make sure we were taken care of. I want to thank Brew Detroit a million times over, and will be spreading the word of how incredible they are to everyone who will listen!
Chrystina Hall: Absolutely fantastic! We participated in a tour of the facility with the general manager, who was friendly and informative. The facility is fascinating and amazing. Their beer and food is delicious! They have a wonderful event space and large patio. We will definitely be back for future visits.
Michael Doherty: I had a good experience stopping by for a few hours before my friends arrived in Detroit. Bartender was super nice and gave me some recommendations. The beers were good (not great) but I really liked the Yumtown which was almost like a Shandy. I was a little letdown by the food. It’s probably a little my fault for getting the most boring thing on the menu but I needed something healthy. The black bean veggie bowl was almost entirely rice. Not much roasted veggies. Honestly I think it was basically steamed broccoli. For $16, it was a poor value and bland. Black beans and veggies aren’t even expensive. But all in all I would go back because the service was so good and the beers were solid. I just probably wouldn’t eat. There is so much space I could see it being an awesome place to spend a few hours with friends
B: Very hip space. Great beers and our bartender was awesome. We will be back
D. Scott Kramer: Great place and beer
Ellie Fassoi: Great brewery! 👍 Loved the ambience and off course the beer!
Kim Rochford: This place is amazing! They have an awesome game area upstairs with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and genuine. I will definitely be coming back! My friends and I had a wonderful experience. 😊
madison hively: This place is amazing. The food is great, the atmosphere is great and the staff is even better. Everyone we encountered had an amazing attitude and went above and beyond in every way. 10/10 recommend to everyone!
Mara Phillips: I had such an incredible experience at Brew Detroit. The service is beyond reproach, and the staff does everything they can to make you feel at home. The food is some of the best (if not the best) bar food in the area, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience!!
Matthew Monroe: The upstairs area with pool tables, darts, and cornhole was perfect for our small get together. Food was amazing and The staff were so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend! 10/10
Evelyn Jagger: Attentive and thoughtful staff, delicious food and bev, fun games and overall great experience at Brew Detroit!
Jeff Kingzett: Great beer! Great vegan entree selections!
Elle Mistruzzi: Not a good experience. Beer was good, place is cool- food was terrible. Ordered eggs Benedict, it came out as bread with over easy eggs and no hollandaise. Sent back, it returned with melted butter on top. Sloppy and disappointing, AND got charged for it. Pizza was undercooked and underwhelming. We felt bad for the server, not her fault- but she was clearly aware of how awful everything was for us and agreed management has some work to do. We went in thinking we’d order more food and even buy swag to go, but instead left promptly .
Marc Stankus: First time there for a work event and everything was great, from the food to the service, you couldn’t ask for more. Hospitality was very much appreciated and looking forward to visiting again sooner than later.
rayshard futrell: Great place, good bar good, decent culture and somewhat fair prices. Probably the least sketchy place to play pool and darts in the area. True hidden gem.
Jesse Powell: Great food and beer!
carol cerilli: Loved it, will definitely go back
yayo mimo: Alright, I have been waiting to do a review on Brew Detroit because I wanted to go back a few times for a fair assessment. This brewery is on point and should be on everyone's go to list. They have everything including great beer, food, pool tables, a shuffle board table, an outside seating area, cornhole (AKA bags) and an entire upper floor you can rent out for very large parties. The staff is second to none with their service being fast, accurate, and friendly. This is one of my top brewery's in Michigan.

Batch Brewing Company: what do users think?
Andrew Beachy: Smoked/fried wings were awesome, smoked turkey/ pork belly club was delicious. Beer I had on tap (Bonus Beat) tasted great, and service was friendly. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their drafts. The in house soda tasted better then any I've had before as well. Good selection in menu with vegan/GF options and big patio. Hard not to be here on a sunny day.
Corie Johnson: Pretzel was yummy beer was meh also very nice outdoor area and tap room inside
Nkenge Reed: Awesome staff.
Nat Zorach: Batch is one of those rare locations that is simultaneously a great spot for a beverage or food after work, a great place for a first date, a great place to bring old friends, a great place to meet new friends, and, quite significantly, a great place to sit outside. Not all restaurants can claim the ability to check each of those boxes. The rebooted menu is really awesome and the addition of El Rey on Tuesdays and Mondays is transformative.Picture of Jack (RIP) because he loved coming to Batch.
Curtis M. Todd: A very nice lunch had with family. Excellent (German) pig knuckle (Schweinshaxe) and cheese noodles (Käsespätzle). Nice set of beer offerings available, too.
Rachel's Music Garden: It's totally my top 5 favorite breweries that has gluten reduced beer!!!I love the beers that they have, but their vegan and gluten-free food options are extremely limited.... but they are planning on expanding the menu very soon!!!
Tamika Winget: Its very nice. Lots of outdoor seats. Soon to come concerts outside. The text is closed in.All the beers are good. They have food that is really good.
Steve Kaudle: My favorite place to get a beer. The beer is always on-point, their sours are excellent. Usually plenty of lower ABV options. They reduce the gluten in their beer well enough that it is the only beer that is not explicitly 'gluten free' that my GF can drink. I'm not sure why they don't give more publicity to this aspect of their beer? It's a game-changer for her. We're there at least once a week (usually on a Taqueria night). Highly recommended. Pic is from the Roast fundraiser.
Shashank Sawant: Located in a quieter section of Detroit downtown, this brewery caters to different taste buds, whilst also having traditional pilsners. There's option of seating outdoors, or in a shed, or in a proper bar setting. Add to it board games and cornhole, to make it a proper setting for a fun night out. Ordering and payment is online via a QR based website. Cheers!
Mike M: The beer was cold, the service good, the food was ok. Nice atmosphere, other than girl who smoked pot in bathroom before me. They were setting up the outdoor seating and tent for additional space. Fun summer time hang out.
Kyle Nordstrom: Stopped here when I was in town visiting my brother. It was the weekend of Dally in the Alley. I had a fantastic time, and the staff were great, and talkative. Visiting this brewery made me think twice about continuing to live in Minneapolis.
Vanessa Logan Wentzloff: I loved the selection of beer! Lots of lighter ales than most breweries. We loved the food truck right outside for snacks. Can’t wait to return!
Christy M: Great first time experience. Nachos were delicious and hand a seltzer, cider and 2 different beers. Will definitely be back!!
Andrew Hester: Came in sat down, no service. Waited for about 10 min, place was not crowded, tried to ask for service but was ignored. I got up and left. Very disappointed.
Chuck Marshall: Awesome brewery in Corktown serving super beers and outstanding BBQ!!
Tony Apperson: Went here with some of the family and really enjoyed the drinks and service. We didn’t end up staying here for food because we wanted to make a couple more stops but I’m sure it is good just based on the overall experience. I just started getting into brewery’s and winery’s and this is one I’d for sure recommend you check out if in the area. All types of different options to choose from. Thank you batch brewing for the great experience!!
Ron Reed: Went to Batch to meet friends after St. Patrick's parade in Corktown. We sat at picnic tables in their heated tent with about 15 friends. The beer is excellent, the food is great, and the service is the typical Detroit Super friendly staff you're going ti get at nearly every place in Detroit.
Anthony Filice: Service is aweful, inaccurate and slow despite the QR code scanning. Food was decent, but things are chaotic. Hipster paradise, beer decent. I don't like how they run this place.
Lien Tori: Excelentes cervezas y excelente la onda de la gente del lugar! Muy recomendable
Josh J: The barbacoa sandwich melt was amazing.
Ryan Snell: The porter was superb. The food was awesome. Smoked chipotle wings had a crunch I never had before. The outside smokers and the cornhole has me returning! The porta potties outside leave much for the imagination for those that seek shelter. I would make effort to rid those from the premises.

Motor City Brewing Works-Canfield: what do users think?
Chip Williams: Great beer, awesome pizza. Highly recommend. We went with the Oatmeal and Nitro Stouts. Crab dip appetizer came with a loaf of fresh bread.
Emily: Beer was okay. Service was completely lacking.
Moriah Boone: Great pizza and beer spot. Cute outdoor patio, staff is lovely. Had to drop a star due to free parking limitations.
Chelsea Johnson: First impressions were very positive and I’d def come back. Tara as well as the other server (apologies for forgetting her name) were super friendly. The pizza was fresh and pretty delicious. The cocktail was quite good as well. Overall a really nice place to go and relax in good company and great food :)
emmelie bicknell: This is the only place i’ve ever really enjoyed a pizza. On god, no cap, no tea, no SHADE. Get the mary did have. Thank me later.
Natalie Chariot: Blown away by the kindness and generosity of the staff. They were out of one of the pizzas I ordered - I not only received a phone call letting me know almost immediately after I ordered but was assisted in picking out another pizza and also given a free cheese bread. I live an hour away now but will be making trips home more frequently just to visit this place. The food was amazing also. Thank you so much!
Peter Stewart: Love this place. Great beer, delicious pizza, and an incredible staff.
Willard Stacer: Very nice, the German Bock was excellent, albeit served on the colder side.
Marc Zawiejski: Best brewery in Detroit
John Gilchrist: Absolutely amazing brewery with great food. Scotty is always behind the bar, providing wonderful customer service and supporting the very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. It is our Tuesday spot. One of the best lunch spots in Midtown
Tim Hooker: Amazing artichoke dip and always fresh food. Love this place and the atmosphere, chess games and beer, cheers!
Morgane F: Great service, good food and good beers !
yashodhan sawant: The most underrated & undervalued brewery in Detroit. It is an amazing place next to wayne state university campus. The beer is amazing, make sure you order a flight to pick your favorite. In appetizers I would recommend the dry rub baked wings and you will never go wrong with a bbq pizza. Do try this out while you are in midtown Detroit.
Jared Grogan: Midtown at it's best.
David Landry: Great spot to grab a drink and something delicious to eat. We even broke out the cards against humanity while waiting for our food to arrive, so much fun!
Jason Jarey: I've been coming here for over 15 years. Always a superior experience.
christopher stanton: Hold the phone! Completely blown away. I didn't expect much. I'm from out of town and made a list of places I wanted to see. I started here and I've been thinking about it since I left. Super cozy spot with a local vibe. I didn't eat here but the food looked amazing. I was probably the only person not eating pizza. The bartender was super cool and helpful. The star of the show was the beer! The oatmeal stout was delicious, but then I tried the Czech Pilsner. I have thought about this beer at least twice a day every day since. I wish I didn't live 5 hours away because I would be here every day for that beer alone. Great spot, I highly recommend!
abner fuentes: This is a nice little cozy spot with a variety of beers. I went in for lunch on a work trip and had the “sopla fuego” pizza. The pizza was decent and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.Brought a coffee mug and a decal sticker back home.
Cathy Morris: Great food, beers, craft drinks and service. We stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for several. We had some great beverages. The Kolsch Beer and fruity seltzer were fan favorites.
Marion Bushey: Nice beer and tap room.
Timothy Bies: Great place to relaxant enjoy some great beers and food. Staff very friendly... even to Bills fans. Recommend to anyone who is in the Bills Mafia.

Detroit Beer Co.: what do users think?
John Addy V: I feel like this place has really gone down hill over the years. The beer selection rarely changes or updates and the new chef got rid of the Hair of the Dog burger. Honestly pretty lame. That burger was a landmark of this place and it's removal from the menu takes away some of what made this place so great. I first came here when I was a kid and was blown away by the fried egg on that burger and always would come back for that specific menu item when I moved to the city years later.
Bruce Williams: Jambalaya was delicious, could of had more shrimp in it but the flavor was great.
Zach McGuire: Good appetizers and OK beer. Overall a nice place to have a meal with a great atmosphere. Wait staff was really attentive and helpful.
Brad M: Great Brewery. Awesome food. Beer changes a lot. The small batches change around a lot and sometimes the same beer recipes change and are not consistent but they are still great brews. Cool location. Great atmosphere.
Rick Bame: Cozy little hangout. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded, but obviously that’s a good thing. Great food options, great beer and great people. I have been coming here for years.
AmberZamora01: out of towner here & might I say this spot is so delicious! & I liked that they had good non-alcoholic beer. Despite it being busy the bartender was attentive to everyone! enjoyed the atmosphere & the customer service!
Jeff Fetter: I love this place. Casual atmosphere. Good food and decent prices.
Alexandria Davis: It’s a hard no on the food. Secondly, Why did the service have to be so rude? 2/17/23
Mike Herman: We had a bus load of 33 in town to attend MSU/UofM hockey game at the LCA. A junior hockey team from Canada. Busy day in Detroit. Wings played at noon and this game at 8:00pm. Detroit Oprah house with events. We had reservations at 5:30pm and the pub was very busy. They did an amazing job of getting us in early and our server was amazing. A great experience and many many thanks for how they looked after us during a demanding time!!
Ingrid Nelson-Stefl: My husband and I went there for lunch one Saturday in early December and had a great experience! My lentil soup was made with a little juice from a lime and a dollop of sour cream and was very delicious! The beer was good, too.
Alexandra Hazen: My sister, her boyfriend, and I stopped here to eat for dinner. The place has a big main level and an upstairs area to eat. We ate upstairs and were able to see all the people walking into the Detroit Opera House for the 8pm show.We shared the black and white dip with tortilla chips. It was half asiago cheese dip and half bean dip. Kind of looked like a ying-yang. Wow! This was so good and addicting.Beer: The Detroit DwarfI ordered the cheese ravioli. The ravioli noodles were decent size and filled with ricotta cheese and served in marinara sauce. What was really interesting is that it came with what looked like half a cheese pizza (without the sauce). This turned out to be the cheese bread. Both were super delicious!
Eryn Rybak: Detroit Beer Co is the absolute best! You've gotta get the grilled cheese, it's to die for.
Scott Castle: Had been here a while ago and forgot the name of the place (given how many bars start with Detroit, it's not that difficult). Anyway, have been trying to find it for a while and finally did! The fact this is a brewery and not advertised as one is a little annoying; I would have fond it much faster! Upon my first visit I remembered liking the food alot. I think I just got a burger, but as we were drinking this time around, I didn't order food but I did see a few plates that caught my eye because they looked so good. The nachos being one and the tacos being the other. They don't have a huge selection of beer (I think there were 8 to choose from), but the ones we tried were very good (and are there own; although they carry a few that aren't theres). An IPA and one from their sour series is what we ordered. It's pretty small in there and it was quite busy. There was a Red Wings game and it was 2 hours before the game, so not sure if that was why or if it's normally like that. But we were able to get our beers quickly and although the bar area was full we did stand across from it where they have tables to set your beer. It worked for us. I'm really glad to have been back because I liked the set up and the atmosphere. Vats of their beer prominently displayed behind the bar but still feels like a nice restaurant with a cool, casual bar to chill and eat. Definitely coming back here again for food and beer now that I know the name...and definitely not forgetting it this time.
Mary: Excellent nachos and a beer!
Ove Nyström: Very good beer. It's a brewery. Awesome interior. Very friendly regulars. Friendly staff. Very good beer.... :-)
Ken Patterson: We sat at the bar and the bartender was super helpful and friendly. Very comfortable place. Nice happy hour specials. We got chicken nachos and soft shell crab tacos and both were very good.
Zach Jensen: Handled our pre arranged party of 60, yes 60, ahead of a noon kickoff at Ford Field. Great service and food! Was a great start to a great day. Go Rockets!
Leslie White: I watched the Thanksgiving game there and had a great time. On the way out I took a turkey dinner out go. It was better than anything my mom has cooked in the past 30 years (from scratch) with 0 existential guilt. Delicious! I think I'm going to have a 'bad head cold' next year.
Ryan Zasowski: Service great . Good ppl to outsiders ( I'm from Buffalo) and this got dam fried chicken sandwich is 2nd to none , perfect .
Liz: Not what it used to be a few years ago.
Brenda Frankart: It was fabulous! Great food and ambiance and we just stumbled upon the restaurant too.

Founders Brewing Co. Detroit: what do users think?
Rick Bame: I have had many a great time here. I just learned the news this morning that this location has abruptly closed. This saddens me greatly because although not my favorite brewery in Detroit, it is one of the best places in Detroit to grab drinks and with the most variety in terms of beer. A nice, cozy little fire 🔥 pit on the patio. You will be missed! I hope all of the workers who don’t end up taking on other rolls in the company find good jobs in a timely manner. At least there is Grand Rapids, and one of the best beer tours around. Cheers!🍻
James Anderson: Planned a day there. Went and power was out. STUPID FOUNDERS. P.S. ALL DAY IPA RULES. Apparently they closed this location permanently. That wasn't very neighborly. Stupid founders.
Brad: Forget about it it’s gone 😢
P Park: Excellent beers and food served in a great facility. There are a nice variety of styles available, certainly way beyond what you can purchase at your local store. The tastes are excellent, the prices are good and the service is excellent and attentive. There's a nice outdoor area with fire pits but it was just too cold for us to sit outside unfortunately (late April 2023).
Jared Dana: Service was good, food was amazing, and beer was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachel Prioste: Great service, many workers around so you are well taken care of. Servers are knowledgeable about the beer and help you decide based on what you like and are more than happy to get you a sample before ordering! Lovely ambiance, always a nice time going to Founders. Pic is of the nitro rubaeus :) (have only been to the Detroit taproom)
Cathy Morris: I love the decor, open spaces and beer offerings. We sat out side. The food was ok. The pulled pork nachos were really good. I enjoyed my Southwest salad, but the wings were disappointing. They seemed over cooked and chewy. The staff was a bit overwhelmed. You can see all of the fermentation tanks which is really cool. I plan to go back for another visit.
George Thomas Sr.: Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Always willing to help and make the day better. 10 stars
Sakshi Bagai: Great choice of beers!!
John Hana: Awesome bar, definitely go check it out if youre in the area. I was going to a game at Comerica park and decided to get a drink and a bite to eat here first. Its only a short walk from Comerica park or Little Ceasars Arena.Food came out super fast, it was great quality and fresh.Atmosphere is really inviting and nice, not extremely loud but very lively. They have lots of craft beers on tap and some great specials, definitely some interesting options.

Got an opportunity to try a variety of their brews. We ordered the beer and cheese dip & spinach and artichoke dip. Enjoyed both, but especially the beer and cheese dip. Easy to get to and park. If you enjoy craft beer would recommend visiting this place.

Atwater Brewery & Tap House: what do users think?
Terrence Wallace: Nice place to sit down...relax and have a brew or 2🍺🍺. The food was nice. The bartenders & servers were very nice and accommodating 🤙🏿
Phil E: Beers are good and the food is too. Prices are decent as well. Love coming here in the summer and sitting outside or on the rooftop patio.
Jay McKee: Found Atwater in walking distance of my hotel. Great atmosphere, friendly service, outdoor patio. Their Strawberry Dirty Blonde was different, but very good!
Stephanie O'Callaghan: Love this place so much!! Their vanilla Java porter is one of my all time favorite beers! And even tho I don’t drink a ton of beer anymore, I always get some vanilla Java porter when I visit home. It’s just the perfect beer. They also have a great pub set up- got lunch this time and was blown away by the food. The only bummer thing was when we ordered a second of the Atwater dogs (because the first was so good), the second one came out overdone and a little disappointing (pretzel bun was very dark and hard). Otherwise loved the food. I’d choose fries over chips as the side but enjoyed the Atwater dog for sure and the Pierogi’s. Def try the porter on nitro too! Nice rooftop space but no beers on tap up there :/ only cans but pretty views (can see the water a little bit from the rooftop). Also have tables out on the sidewalk and into the street for nice weather days. And they have their own parking lot adjacent which is nice so you don’t have to try to find street parking.
Nicole Runnels: Stopped in on Sunday at Atwater in the Park and the taps were down-it was ok because they had cold cans available. Surprise came at the end when we realized that we were charged the same as if they were pints. Basically paid $42 for a 6 pack. Food was good, but can't say we will be back.
Fred Thompson: Took my wife and daughter for lunch here today. We were all extremely satisfied with our meals. The girls had a seltzer with OJ and I had a Blond, OUTSTANDING.
P Coletta: Blah beer bi like high IBU
Demitrius Mallos: Got the gyro for lunch. I couldn't find any feta on it, and 1 slice of tomato and 1 small piece of onion. It was basically just meat on a pita with a light spread of tatziki. Pretty disappointing for the price.
Johnathan Owen: Great place for a beer and burger. I personally love the dirty blonde. Bartenders are super friendly too
Sumit G: Decent beer, poor service. I don't want to assume they asked me to go to the back of the line because of my colour even though I was next in line and the person in front even said so, but can't help but get that feeling. Anyway, not buying a t-shirt
Kelsey Nelson: Went for lunch with my family this afternoon. It's a Friday during lent and I was excited to see the fish n chips option, but honestly thought someone was playing a joke on me when the food came out and I saw the portion size. For $18, I got three tiny pieces of fish, smaller than a piece of perch. I basically paid $18 for fries. Everything tasted good but insane to charge that much for literally no food.
Kelli Burley: NADIAAAAAAAAA!!! Is the best.
Stephen Smith: Great spot to get work done during the day with good food and safe, free parking. Right off the riverfront. Great staff.
Ms Tonie: My first time visiting this place and they messed my food up, I ordered the Beer Cheese Nacho with pulled pork. It's supposed to have their beer cheese, shredded cheddar cheese sour cream an jalapenos, when the Bartender brought my food instead of sour cream the cooks put mayonnaise all over it, YUCK!!!!. So the Bartender took it back an told them but mind you she told me that she thought it didn't look right but she gave it to me anyways, I got another one the right way with sour cream, I ordered a Detroit Vodka with cranberry juice the first one was good but because of the Mayo on my food she said the next drink is on her an instead of giving me another Vodka with cranberry juice she gave me cranberry juice with Vodka totally different! Here's a pick of my remade Beer Nacho an the cranberry juice with Vodka. That's why they got 4 stars, although I will say that I would go back cause the food was good an so was the atmosphere. In the pic you can clearly see that thats cranberry juice not a vodka cocktail with cranberry juice.
Kevin Walsh: Atwater is such a special place with fantastic beer and amazing service from Chris and his team. We were thrilled to bring a Detroit History Tours group to Atwater and from every planning stage through excellent settings, flight variety all 50 of our participants were completely satisfied! We can't wait to return for more tours in the coming months!
Biff Henderson: Great Beers... Try the Vanilla Java Porter... Great stuff! Good food, too.
Miguel 'Mig' Denyer: Excellent food, most excellent service and staff, reasonable prices, and a great selection of beers. I will definitely be back in the future.
Corbin Laparl: This is the best brewery I’ve ever been to! I had the best chicken sandwich of my life, a regular told me to order it, so I knew it would be great and wasn’t disappointed. Plus Dirty Blonde is the best beer in the world. It’s a must stop!
Lance Davis: Today is my first time coming and i enjoyed myself. Food was good, fast, and so was my drink. My girl also enjoyed her food. The bartender Murph was great. He was Friendly and full of recommendations. Great hospitality. I'll definitely be back. This is not paid advertisement lol
JulieBlueSerb1234567890 Rfgh: Head to this brewery restaurant, blocks from the river, for some tasty sandwiches. Chicken quesadilla, pulled pork, shredded turkey, and the special brisket. Asked about the potato chips and supposedly they were made the standard way. But we all found them to be overcooked and untasty. This was the only fault. The Atwater IPA was mild tasting, different from some IPAs.
Giovanni Lucia II: The pesto chicken is delicious

D R E W: I love this place. Great beer, great staff, and cool vibes.
John Addy V: Always the first place to hit during an Eastern Market trip. The beer selection is always great and has something fresh. The yearly Pączki beer releases are a personal favorite.
Roberto Torres: Fun place to grab a solid beer. The alley behind the brewery is a great spot.Have had many awesome beers at this place.Played trivia one night and got a pizza from Supinos across the parking lot.A must if you're in the area.
Robert Goodrich: Stopped for a couple beers on my way home from work. The stoned fruit sour and the elephant juice IPA were both very good.
hali fortuna: Came here to pick up paczki beer this year and got to try them on tap first. It's a really great, little spot downtown for drinks. One of the paczki beers was a bit thicker like a slushy at the time but our cans weren't like that at all.
Denise W: Great service, friendly and quick! Wonderful selection, and quite tasty! Visitors were fun and friendly! Just how it should be! Coming back!
Sebastian Nadal: Great experience!A must in Detroit.A showcase of Detroit live
Hornet35: Great local beer recipes! Try the paczki beers...when in season.
Mike M: Great beers. Friendly service and nice place. Don't miss this stop while at Eastern Market. You can bring food in and enjoy with their good beers.
kyle tarcia: Proud to be a member, beer and atmosphere are awesome. Great place to bring your take out food into.
Elizabeth Bottorff: Rude as hell! Came in at 8:30pm on a Saturday. The staff began packing up chairs at 9pm, so we confirm they close at 10pm. At 9:15pm we get one last drink and the bartender pours a 5oz when a pint was clearly specified. By then, all the chairs were up. We downed the beers and left. Obviously not welcome there and won't be back.
Yanely Ramirez: Really enjoyed grabbing a beer here. They don’t serve food but definitely feel free to bring some in. The nice, cold beers are refreshing and they have non-alcoholic options as well. Also, the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend and would come here again!
Alexander Freeman: Great management team, delicious beer!
Thomas MacLeod: Good beer. But I don't like drinking out of flimsy, 12 oz. plastic solo cups, or sitting out in the alley at wobbly tables trying not to spill my drink.
chad vanderpool: Enjoyed selection and taste of the beer i tried. Service was over the top great! They told me about other cool local places to check out and were very friendly! Highly recommend!
Jenny & Alex: Tried all their beers and they were good! Brought over Jose’s Tacos from the other side of the block and enjoyed the food and the beer in the nice alley picnic bench area. Definitely a spot not to be missed in Eastern Market! Great street art all around and many other friendly patrons. Dog and kid friendly!
PAUL RITZ: Good place with a casual vibe. Liked the open walls and outdoor seating in the warmer weather. Blood Orange Radler was a nice, summer's day kind of beer.
Ryan Coe: Strong Ipa game! Great job
david stocks: Enjoyed a good variety of their beer over the years, this was my first visit. Rode our bikes and sat on the patio. Awsome.
Brian Williams: Always excellent! The outside seating is great, kids, dogs, whatever. The beer selection here is one of the best in the state, Elephant Juice turned me on to craft beer and still ranks as my favorite! Cool vibe, trivia nights, Supino's around the corner, so much good about this place!!
Adeana Libman: Friendly service, nice patio space, strawberry rhubarb IPA was lovely!

Brewery Faisan: what do users think?
Valerie Beauchamp: Love this place and the owners, the atmosphere is perfect and the beer is incredible!
Mark Tremel: Caring. And sharing and a certain amount of craft and fussiness- in a good way! First, the beers: excellent and a great selection. Everything brewed on the premises by the cute married couple who owns the place. I have become rather fussy and funny about the beer I drink (so your miles may vary) but these folks even made the girly beers that I don’t like taste good! I was there for a group event and they even opened up on their day off just for us! Awwww! I think my favorite thing was the old world craftsmanship that they used in making the beer.
One Drop Brewing Company: Hands down the best brewing company in Detroit.
Mary Jo Szlaga: Best array of craft beers in Detroit. Love the atmosphere, the service and the owners.
Max Brooks: Human tested, dog approved.
Michael Spears: Great facility and really good beers. Trivia was fun. I am hopeful that it will become a neighborhood anchor. Love the natural light and patio.
Jeff Raudebaugh: Absolutely 5 stars
John Voymas: Very good Belgian-style beer. When it warms up it is delicious! Wish they would bring back the wonderful Belgian waffles on Sundays.
Travis Blake: Huge, casual, welcoming. Great beer.
Mark Rudd: Cool location, industrial section of a neighborhood that is on the edge of a comeback February 2023. Great service, The owner head brewer was bartending. Beer is very good, nice selection. They serve flights. No food, but there was a food truck serving lobster and it looked okay. We didn't eat, but the beer was good.
Brad H: Fun place, great Beer. Love their new food trucks!
Jonah Grabelsky: Great beer, great staff, and great atmosphere.
Hans Buehler: Very nice place and friendly staff. Really good beer at good prices. Definitely worth trying.
Zaenger Doyle: They have a good variety of different beers here. I really like the periphery raspberry saison, but they have all kinds of options and are happy to let you try a couple to find one you like. The building has a nice ambiance, outdoor seating for the nice days, board games and art on the walls for the dreary days
Scott Wilson: Excellent brews. Relaxing setting.
Alex T: I was skeptical but all beers were exceptional! Great service and clean bathrooms. I need to come back to try the belgian beers 😎
Sibi Sebastian: Outstanding brewery. Tucked in an industrial area, but it has it's own vibe. Has a nice little patio area as well. I tried 4 different beers, and I throughly enjoyed all of them. Staff was awesome. I believe they have 4 packs of all their beers as well. Highly recommend and will return (many times).
Saul Schuyler: Been to hundreds of breweries and seldom does their lineup leave me with any more than a couple favorites. There are not any bad brews here. We tried everything and had some to bring home. Bravo!
Connor Otway: Really chill vibe, highly recommend!
Alex (bonfyah): Leaving 5 stars because the beer, & half pint pricing are amazing. However, I strongly recommend trying to get a food truck on big nights! Location of the brewery is pretty limiting otherwise.
Rodolfo Valladares: Cool brewery. We’re in town for the weekend and came down here for drinks. I like how they play with flavors: their lavender honey wit was a nice refreshing Wit with a gentle lavender aroma, their raspberry saison was also fruited just right, the spiciness from the saison blends really well with the raspberry making it feel like you’re eating a raspberry.Their space really big inside, and they have quite a bit of tables outside.

Timothy Lindsay: Love this place! Best chicken and waffles and mimosas!
Jill Orent: The chicken and waffles were off the charts!
James Hall: Hallie was SO accommodating and friendly! She really made our experience! Only 4 stars because the salad we ordered was not really worth $21, otherwise fun atmosphere and great drinks. The tomato bisque is where it’s at
kimberly storks: Just SUPER FAB !!!!
Mitchell D: The staff is absolutely stellar.
Kelly Mramor: Loved the atmosphere and the ginger ale
Paul Gullick: We popped in for a light snack whilst visiting the city center. They've got a great range of beers, the location is perfect and there's plenty of space. However the service left a bit to be desired. Our waitress took ages with our drinks and forgot the 2nd round we ordered. The food was tasty though. As we'd travelled over from Wales this fell well short of the renowned American service levels we hear about and experienced else where.
ZTK: Great service & fantastic food. I'd come here again.
Johnny B: Wish I could have been able to give a review of the establishment it self but the hostess huffed and puff when ask to sit outside. She should have just came out and said I'm lazy and don't care. Maybe it's good but the staff sucked
Jessica Henry: True pub experience and absolutely loved our service and the shepherds pie!
Jennifer Hennes: Very cool old building. Didn't eat, but observed the food coming out of the kitchen. Shepherds Pie looked delicious!
Daniel Luscombe: I’ve been to Grand Trunk a dozen times over the years, sometimes with a group of friends or after/before weddings or events. Great food and atmosphere. So it was a natural choice when a group of us wanted to get drinks after a friends wedding. 5 Stars to the friendly and efficient bartender who served us! - However, it has been a long time since I’ve met servers that rude. The place was dead empty and we arrived in good spirits, certainly not unruly— and we were greeted like the plague! He whined and complained, slapped appetizers on the table (showering pickle chips on a guest) and said he was expecting another large party (who never did appear?) — I can honestly say we were pretty low maintenance, and the bartender quickly helped organize tabs and made sure we got drinks- I believe it is a bit of a wedding tradition to leave generous tips- so I hope she was the beneficiary of this! — If I ran Forans - I’d speak to your server— we felt so unwelcome we started looking for another spot, but luckily the bartender sorted it out pretty easy, so we could all have a nice time
Debbie Petteys: I was there for lunch. The service was fast and courteous. The food was outstanding! I'll definitely go back again.
Christie Ford: Best Bloody Mary!
Gerald Perry: Incredible beer selection, and really nice staff. My meal was great too!
cailin seip: Went here for dinner last night, our server (I forget her name) and her trainee Stephen were hands down the most amazing servers i’ve ever had at any restaurant before. Service, food and drinks were amazing. If you go here, you must try the Finnegan, it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
Eddy Libralesso: La cameriera era molto gentile e disponibile a dare informazioni. Cibo medio a mio parere.. ma comubque non male
Nicole: Food was mediocre and over priced. Staff very unhelpful and lazy.

PeopleFirst Technology: A perfect blend of healthy food, impeccably crafted wild yeast ales, friendly staff. Great to be back at the Jolly Pumpkin after all these years!
Chip Williams: Good beer, great atmosphere. 28 beers on tap today. Awesome service.
Abdelkader Fares: The pizza here isn't that good, it's just okay. The staff is really nice and friendly, and the inside of the restaurant is pretty cool. Overall, a nice place to come to but not for the pizza.

Blaine Nickeson: Came in on a weekday when it was very quiet. Sat at the bar, and had a wonderful bartender. We tried a number of beers (they have the Jolly Pumpkin sours, and the North Peak line of "normal" beers). Stick with Jolly Pumpkin - we had a few pints that were amazing.Highly recommend the curry chips. I wish I could buy them in a bag at home.
jason hall: Very good. Cleveland ears in Detroit treated like we'd treat them
Amy Steinhoff: Pizza here is really bad. Was so disappointed.
Ryan Garvey: We stopped by for just drinks, brewery right? But it’s kinda got a food court vibe to me, and the brews made by Jolly Pumpkin were all sours, I didn’t know that going in, I like to try the home brews but didn’t know all they made were sours. Whoops my mistake

Abo Tarq: Very awesome and clean place with nice customer service:)
Julian: Food is good but not good enough to deal with all this extra stuff. From the start, every table i tried to sit at was filthy. They've automated the whole dining process. You have to order from your phone, server came and said hi then was non existent. Appetizers & Starters came out at the same time as entrees. You have to get your own cups, plates and silverware. But there were no cups, plates, or silverware stocked. When i finally got my dishes & cutlery, I noticed they switched to cheap, flimsy & porous plastic dishes that were still wet from being washed but yet still dirty? Fosho not going back to this location. This is more on par with a college food court lol.
