The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center: what do users think?
Dee E: Closed 💔💔💔
Gladys Johnson: Found some deals. Clothing,a long runner rug. Good prices.
phyllis Spencer: Great store
Jazzy J: I used to enjoy thrifty but Salvation army sale over price items that are donated to them. Alot of items I can get brand new I usually shop at the thrift shop to get a bargain but not anymore.
Alina Popet: If i give the clothes for free i expect the clothes to not cost.anything..its only fair...why make money off the poor..
Dallace-Nikhol Degregorio: Seems like employees are nice. It's a big building.
Paul Boggs: Very good place to shop
Sage Percival: I was told to get out of the women’s bathroom and was repeatedly, intentionally called “sir” by one of the employees (I am a woman :~). The other employee who rung me up at the register was super sweet however, which is why I give two stars. selection of clothing was mid.
zar zar: Resale shop prices are high they ought to be ashamed they sells clothes you can buy at a regular department store for the prices that they're charging collectibles knick knacks prices are ridiculously high I will never go there again
Roberta Lotko: Found a few Treasures which is always fun when you go thrift store sailing
Michelle White: Clean with friendly staff
Mi Eman: Nice store I stop every chance I get
thankyou forplaying: That place is just a clothing store they have no shoes for men.
belle muse: Today was my 1st time visiting this store. I was looking for kitchen items and their items are EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. A clearly used glass bowl was $8, it would be $10 brand new at a Marshalls. I mentioned this to the cashier and she said “well it’s $8”. Also an elderly lil woman asked the price of a mini plastic piece, one employee said $4 and the other LOUDLY began to complain that $4 was priced too low. That same employee seemed annoyed when asked to double bag a customer’s purchases. She literally asked him if “ he was walking”. Although I’m not really a Thrift shopper. I know poor customer service and price gouging when see it.
Joanie Oakes: Bought a nice pair of heels 👠
Carolyn WilsonHall: Prices are too high to be a thrift store.
CC “CC” Jeff: Good tag sales. Wednesday senior day 25%
Brendan M Brogan: Timing. It’s all about timing at downtown Detroit’s Salvation Armani. Feast or famine, it’s a regular stop for thrifters.
Ismari Silva: Pésimo servicio! Mala actitud encima la cajera bloqueo mi tarjeta espantosa experiencia!
Sita Sita: This is an excellent Salvage clothing place always wonderful finds and affordable prices for the quality of clothing, They have a good rotation of clothing so there's always something new to look at..I definitely recommend shopping here if thrifting is your Passion.
Shellie Huff: I didn't have anought money they had what I want ed aways

St. Vincent de Paul Society: what do users think?
Erin P: Mr. Krockett / Crockett is VERY rude and nasty gets loud over the phone when “assisting” customers. Also using words like “demanding” and “spoiled” when speaking to the public. I overheard him yelling very loudly at my mother (I heard him from another room) when she was trying to follow up with him and he had not called her back all week and she had to reach out to management and he apparently was very upset about that and felt he needed to let her know that she cannot “demand” him to call her back (even though his voicemail stated he would call folks in 48 hours ) he states he “gotten busy” and his feathers were apparently ruffled even though HE did not follow through on his end as he was supposed to do. He called back to fuss and huff and puff because his feelings were hurt instead of doing his job and assisting the customer or simply providing her with information.
Anni Adkins: The people are there to help.
Brandon Rozanski: Wow what an experience. The Men and Women of this Ministry are Truly doing God's Work. I visited here during a brief incarceration, more of a lack of monitoring my reaction to prescribed medication. Nonetheless the things this ministry does is nothing short of miraculous. They gave me a FULL set of clothing for an entire week Coat and shoes included. Soap, Razors, Deodorant, Etcetera everything one would need had they just left the judicial system. And offered gentle persuasion to seek counsel with the Lord. Being offered with no Bias or expectation. I hope any individual in this situation finds this Ministry, and fully appreciates all they do for them, myself included. This is a fine example of Light in the Darkness.God Bless all of you in this Ministry.Brandon Rozanski
Barbara Dempsey: Thank you for helping my son. When He came off the streets and he said you told him to get what he needed and he made a whole outfit. He can’t stop singing praises to you and staff.
Nicole Paulsen: They lie and they don't help. I was promised to get help with my dte bill and then they cancelled the check and they didn't even have the guts to call and tell me anything. I have left multiple messages and no one has returned my phone calls. I am very upset and stressed out. Don't even call and ask them for help because they are liars and it's a shame you call yourself christians.i just started my job a days ago and I can't even get a little help
Tracy Houston: I love this store! The sales ppl are amazing! I just don't understand why the owner allow for the credit card debit card machine to stay broke and will not fix it which causes us who comes very frequently to have to leave and go to atm or not able to purchase the merchandise and some don't have vehicles so it's very frustrating! This is very very inconvenient for this area if it was another area maybe they wouldn't have that problem!!
MaryAnn Herold: Dental clinic is good. Same as MCDC at Samaritan on Conner. Resale shop nice small childrens clothes. Cups dishes etc. Aarp does taxes here.
Kathy Parker: I highly recommend Doctor Lee. He personally called after having a wisdom tooth pulled at the Dentist office and of course I was in no pain. He and his staff are awesome and the service was great!
Shani Davis: I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! It’s the best to me by far I recommend everyone to go by to visit Dentist/Oral Surgeon LEE and his staff Susan they’re very kind highly attentive to any concern dealing with dental problems and no worries, you wouldn’t have to wait long in and out. The outcome for me was wonderful...♥️
Tommie 007: Warm, welcoming. Comforting and knowledgeable. Only place I'm going for dental work.
Rhea S: I would highly recommend this dental clinic to anyone. They have a fantastic group of people that work there. Dr. Lee is an awesome dentist. I have a cracked front tooth and he repaired it on my first appointment..wow! Pretty also did such a great job cleaning my husband's teeth. Glad I found this place!Note: The dental clinic is located at the ground floor of SVDP thriftstore. It's called MCDC.
Ashley Cameron: This has been by far the best dental experience I've had in my 30 years of living.. They got me and my 2 children in in one day. My 1 year old had a great first experience. All the staff have warm and friendly personalities. Earlier today I had both of my wisdom teeth pulled and I feel just fine. They realot treat you like you are family❤
Lou Morton: Experience here is always a comfortable and very wonderful visit. The staff is truly to be appreciated. Dr Lee and " pretty " are exceptional, as well as the receptionist .
Meka Baby: This team is awesome. I highly recommend anyone to receive service from these guys. The staff is very welcoming and courteous to your every need!! I love these guys especially PRETTY😍
Honey Rolling: Safe feeling or care. They're Protecting....as if THEY are the ones that will feel the pain, and not the customer.Thank you for the care😸
Pearlette Finch: I recieved excellent service and the team was very polite and courteous. I would recommend everyone to use their service. They made me feel so comfortable seeing that i am o e of those people who have not seen a dentist in over 10 years.
Shelly Bean: There awesome the dentist is amazing an the dental assistant Jen is very friendly they make you feel like family the whole team is a gem.😎
Sherry Barlow: They did a great job and they were quick. I 💘 there service
Sheri Brown: Good everything good prices
angelina campbell: It's a preschool upstairs. And it's great
Stella “Sky blue” Boyd: Th I s is great place to shop for used items and help the charity.

Gloria Ramos: Awesome store
Therese Nolan: One of rhe best thrift stores you will ever find. Clean, well organized and so much variety.
Gamil Mohammed: I am very happy to visit this place. The prices are reasonable and most importantly the workers are kind

I always like to find baggy pants or just good jeans in general and they always have them! Expect i cant really good shirts but it’s still so good.
David Schultz: Upon walking in the store I was pretty satisfied to say the least.Easy to find the things around the place, great staff, looking forward to going back.
Wade Shoff: Closed at 745
Venus Wilcox-Rankin: always find something good
Dave Snyder: They could do better in displaying there clothing, some are big piles of unfolded clothing, makes it hard to distinguished what your looking at
Darla Hedrick: Not busy
pablo Abud: Muy buenos precios y variedad
Aaron Curry: Nice place to find great stuff! Everything is well placed and the customer service is great! They deserve a raise
Russell: As a lover of good thrift items,I’ve found great pieces at really good prices here. Although some items are overpriced for their quality I’d sure still recommend you go by sometime. Always hope to be attended to by the black female cashier, her aura is always super friendly!
John Johnson: Nice friendly staff and good deals 👍.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit: what do users think?
The CuRvEy: Such a helpful organization. They offer classes and education for those in the process of wanting to buy a home to those who want to build their credit and get out of debt. They give you soo many opportunities to give back and help and it also helps the community. These guys are super helpful in what they do.
Steph Pettway: I will be a proud owner of an Habitat home soon. I have had a lovely experience working with the Habitat for Humanity Detroit team and volunteers. I have built new friendships and like family feeling with the Habitat of Detroit team. Awesome experience and look forward to being a Habitat homeowner.
Willie Brake: I love this organization because of its commitment to increase homeownership opportunities and understand the impact affordable housing can have on a family’s life.
Angela Wiggins: Did not go but love it.
Loretta Powell: Big Shout Out to Brandon who works at Habitat for Humanity. He donated Garden tools to Little Detroit Community Garden and we are grateful. Thank you again Brandon for supporting our community.

I try so many time to get help Just need some more people to work there it's very sadvery rude person you can't get help we're you live but other area's can so tried of all the lies. One ⭐ is to good to put down for this place. Macomb County Habitat for Humanity ReStore: what do users think?
Dis appointed: Used to be able to get some decent deals here- Not any more!Prices of many of the used items I looked at were HIGHER than retail of new items elsewhere.Seeing as how your merchandise is donated there is no need or excuse to gouge people with your pricing!
Helen Ann: Visited here yesterday. The prices are so high now it’s ridiculous. I will not be returning. You can find much better deals at yard sales and Facebook Marketplace. This is supposed to be Habitat for Humanity but their prices are inhumane.
Jackie Barlet: Poor service. SMH
L Blossom: I got my couch here for a decent price and it was pretty clean! The awesome people who worked there helped me move the couch onto my trailer. Thanks!
Diane Spencer: I visited this store with my friend and we were followed constantly and watched I work a job I don't have to steal anything I have never stole anything in my life I will not support this location the employee followed and watched so tough I just played cat and mouse so he can have something to watch
cliff montgomery: Very nice people. I’ve found plenty of great bargains. To some of you others who complain, please consider: It’s a charity. Thx for your donations. Pls include a bit more kindness and consideration.
Todd Doughty: Awesome.
Rachel Leonard: I've been to a lot of restores and I can't believe this place. It feels like you've walked into a hoarders garage. It's filthy, disorganized, hard to figure out what they're selling let alone anything specific you're looking to buy. I came to donate and browse. When I pulled in, all the signs said donations accepted during store hours only, but then when I asked at the front they said they don't accept them after 3.
M B: I support the Restore by shopping there only, I have refrained from visiting lately because the store is closed during day time. No notices on the door or anything. Also their prices are little too high and someone needs to check around before they price things here. Why would I buy a used window for $200 if it’s $129 at the big box store?!
Jenny & Alex: Rip off. We have supported many Habitat projects and stores over the years but unfortunately the person in charge of pricing the items here is completely detached from reality. Many items are priced at or above the full retail price for a new item! It’s really too bad. Habitat used to be a great place to donate unused tools and materials and also pick up discounted items. I hope they can find their way back.
Karen Deneau: Found exactly what I was looking for at a super great price. Store staff was friendly and helpful.
Sunny Days: Most items are higher than retail at big box stores. But if you looking for odds peace it a fun place walk around. I like electric section lot old stuff. I was able to rebuild a old fan.
KB MILLER: Well here is the 100% Truth, I donated probably 10,000 in paint to them in the past 3 years, & I am appalled at a. The prices of what they sell that is donated to them which is three times the normal price and B. the fact that they are made aware of it and do nothing about it and C. The fact that I am told that I may receive 1/2 off 1 item for this amount of donation, I usually say nothing and walk on, but not this time, so when the time comes I will recommend to all my followers the 200,000+ to go elsewhere until then the salvation army and other stores have better pricing btw habitat folks change the name to Habitat for our pockets because that is what you have become and it's sickening to the core...
Keith Gardner: Great deals for used household items appliances furniture tools fittings all kinds of things
TONY POETIC: Very good place to shop.
Julie Zarzycki: Great store Great service
Catherine Dial-Boyd: Prices are extremely high for it to be a retail donated materials store
James Rogers: Everyone was really friendly. Thanks for helping me wrap my table.
Daisy Karan: Cool fund place to shop
Kristenn D: This is a great store to shop at if you’re looking for furnish your home for cheap, they even have cheap paint for small projects :)
Munir Shareef-ET: Very good prices

Grace Centers of Hope Thrift Store Warren: what do users think?
Dannielli Robinson: Loved it
C Wilton: They know me almost by name try to come at least once a week
Cheri Garrett: They truly have nice things but what I don't understand is why are some of the prices are so high when it was giving to them for free? I mean it was things that the donators didn't want obviously and if they hadn't donated those things to them it would have been donated to the trash can or curb. I understand they want to make some kind of profit but please be reasonable to the public's pockets about it remember you got it for FREE so please try not to rob other poor peoples pockets but other than that they do have fabulous things....
jon winters: Very RUDE unprofessional workers! Their delivery services sucks! I will NEVER again patronize this thrift store!
Mazhar Khan: Prices are very low and staff is very friendly.
Gerel Buttram: Very good thrift store. Good variety.
Jerry Fawcett: Cool DOG!! Cool STORE!! Love this place.
Co Beadia: I used to really like this one. But they took out their dressing rooms and have a sign out front that they do not have any public restrooms and if you you bring something to the counter that does not have a price tag on it (which most items doesn't have a price) they will NOT sell it. And there where two ladies at the counter one just sitting there talking and the other actually working.
Arianna Pattullo: The clothes are a bit overpriced for sure, but still cheaper than salvation army or goodwill! The staff was super friendly and it's a good organization to support. I benefited from this organization as a child in need, so I will gladly drive out of my way to deliver donations here to pay it forward. Bonus: Found an authentic, autographed painting here today from a popular Chinese artist in the 40s. A treasure for sure! Paid $10 for it!
Cathryn Smits: Incredibly overpriced for donated goods. Don't waste your time.
Nze Bertram Chinyelugo, PHF: Great place to shop for artifacts while helping the homeless. I recommend a visit and patronage.
Paul S (Skip): Very friendly staff. Prices are a little high on some things for being donated. But something are not priced bad. Do like this place though
Amanda Flowers: Barley any clothes and the second you walk in the store all it smells like is cigarette smoke. It smells like a chain smokers house absolutely disgusting
Michael Mitchell: Ridiculously high prices. I passed on a bunch of items. As I was leaving, I noticed a 50 percent off everything sign. I just left. Why not start with reasonable prices, instead of having to mark them down? You are a thrift store, and the community depends on your prices to be reasonable. Please reconsider your practice of pricing high, even with 50percent off some items were still overpriced.
Beverly Beverly: Over priced clothing $7.99 for used yoga pants ,$1.25+ for cup lots of vintage stuff.
Nicole Harbert: Love the people and service 💞
Robbie Dew: I enjoy going there once a week!
Toni Craighead: Beautiful everything was half off today!!! I got everything and more I will always come back 💯!!!!
Jacquie Anderson: They could have a lot more stuff to sell if they had more workers. They have tons of stuff in the back with bags up to the ceiling that's been like that for months and no one to open them and sort them and put them on the floor. They also have a lot of carts full of stuff in the back that's been there for months.
Shelia Blazofsky: Great Place. Nice people, and very reasonable. ❤
Minhaz choudhury: High price
