This jacket means a lot to me, I had it since my youth and Pritty much impossible to replace since I bought it in the early 90s. When I came in to drop my jacket off and I talked to paul I can see his passion for his work and that made me feel at ease. I’m here picking up my jacket and what an amazing job he had done. Nicole: Paul is a miracle worker. I subscribe to a clothing rental service and at Christmas time, my niece got some sort of weird slime ink stain on a $550 coat I was renting.My sister and I tried to remove the stain to no avail…so after some Googling, I found Paul and took my coat to him in hopes he would be able to remove the stain and save my wallet (if the stain couldn’t be removed - I would have had to purchase the coat at full price). I said to him, “take all of the time you need, whatever you need to do, please try and save this coat!” That is exactly what he did.The price was more than the original quote, due to him having to order extra chemicals to remove the specific type of stain. I had no issue with this he called and gave me the option of using it or no - plus he said it would pretty much guarantee a result (and it was not an outrageous amount). It took about 10 days to get the coat back due to this and holidays but Paul informed me of that when he called to get my permission for the and I felt like it was still a fast considering the circumstances (plus I wasn’t in a rush).To wrap this up - Paul is a man of his word and my coat came out PERFECTLY! It was like nothing had happened AT ALL. A true magician. I’ll be recommending him to everyone I know and will be a repeat customer until he is no longer open.Thank you Paul!!!

Not only did I find them not particularly friendly, I found them to be downright unpleasant. Seemingly annoyed that I was there. They didn't want to clean either piece I brought in -- 1 silk and 1 cotton with lace -- and I would definitely not recommend them for cleaning fine garments.

Took him a while to find my stuff and when I got my pants back from being dry cleaned there's a massive crease/wrinkle running up the leg that's most definitely noticable. The shirts seem fine but he botched the hell out of my pants. Went here because I love close by but will go elsewhere next time

Kristi M: I took a bridesmaid dress here for alternations last week, granted the dress was about 6 inches too big on the sides and the alteration would have been challenging for any tailor, my dress came back worse than I brought it in. This shop doesn’t know what they are doing in regards to tailoring services. The dress had a metal bone that was not moved during the alterations so the dress bulged out on the sides and was too big on the top when i picked it up. I left the shop feeling discouraged but didn’t want to cause a scene in the store, i immediately drove to a reputable tailor in royal oak (30 minutes drive for me) and the tailor was appalled that i paid for this service, he said it was one of the worst alterations he has seen. In talking to the owner/manager of Clifford street cleaners to express my frustration and attempt to get a reimbursement for my charges i was told i was a liar and that i was happy originally.. i provided pictures of the work taken 20 minutes after i picked up the dress with a time stamp and the manager was still unsatisfied, he would not refund me any money even though i had to pay twice now for alterations. I would not trust your garments here for alterations. I wish this place had more reviews when i went in the first time so i would have known to go elsewhere.

Marcus Fleming: My experience with West York Cleaners has been horrible. I have been taking clothes to them for about a year now and I started to notice that when I take clothes to them that have been worn only one time, with no stains, my clothes were coming back with stains. I constantly had to keep going back to ask them to re-clean clothes with unexplained stains. My whites were coming back duller than what they were when they went in. I had holes in my clothes that weren’t there before. The Son and Mother at the cleaners were very rude and arrogant when I complained to them about the level of service I was receiving despite the fact that I brought them a lot of business every month. They denied my accusations, and thought that because they gave me a refund, and told me to find another cleaners, that everything was fine. I left there feeling ripped off and not appreciated as a customer. The last straw for me was today. I received clothes back that smelled like the outdoors, from a concert that I had went to, and the cleaners basically pressed over dirty clothes and gave them back to me the next day without cleaning them. My new linen shorts, that I had worn only one time, had a new unexplained ink stain on them and was wrinkled. My shirt smelled like outdoors from when I wore it. And, I firmly believe that they are not cleaning half of the clothes that they receive which would explain the quick turn around time. Something is wrong with their machines that is causing stains to customer’s clothes. I am not the only customer that has experienced new stains on their clothes that wasn’t there when they brought them in. The cleaners will not take responsibility for this. They need to be investigated. There is no other way to explain how they are able to give a customer their clothes back in one day and they come back, not looking or smelling fresh, with new stains on them. And this is coming from someone that did a lot of business with them. Please beware !

Junk Man: I have a very old long black wool coat that had some tears and the liner was hanging out of. I'm not sure what kind of magic she did, but when we got it back it looked nearly perfect. I thought some of it wasn't salvageable, but they did an amazing job and at a great price. My girlfriend has basically stolen the coat from me as it looks so nice now.

Paris Bezanis: I had a disaster stain--a massive red chili oil splotch (maybe 6" by 4") that had soaked through a really special silk shirt as well as my favorite bag. I was so upset, but I brought the pieces into Kimbrough Cleaners and they COMPLETELY removed the stain SAME DAY. They are the most competent and efficient dry cleaners I have ever used. Rush jobs are no problem for them and they do not compromise quality. If you have a tough stain Kimbrough can get it out!!

I had purchased the top without realizing that there were makeup marks on it from people trying it on. They were small but directly in front.Had I known the outcome I would have never brought it in. Today I went to pick it up and in place of the small marks were two huge giant splotches. They looked like a water stained ceiling. I was baffled and shocked (this is 2 days before my wedding). I was so confused and then I was handed a $5 bill without much of an apology and got hustled out of there. . One star for service, zero star for the dry cleaning job. I am So devastated and upset. This is for my wedding and now I don't know what to do. It's unacceptable.

They said it was not their fault and I probably didn’t notice the stains. I didn’t fight it. I took the shirt and politely told the employee I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be returning.

Sandhya Garg: Unbelievable crazy woman on the phone, I called to ask the price for dry cleaning a suit and 2 shirts she said she can't give me a price, Then I asked her a time frame for the dry cleaning and she disconnected the phone after saying she can't give me a time frame. What is wrong with them I really didn't understand how hard was it to give a simple answer which all dry cleaners give answers to. Not recommend.
