tlennon: I've been to this store twice previously with no issue. They've got my insurance on file. I made an appointment online. I show up and am told that that the doctor they have in that day doesn't accept my insurance but the store does. I ask why I was able to make an appointment with a doctor that doesn't take my insurance or why they didn't give me advance notice about this, or at least list the insurance they do take. No answer. Just told I had to pay full price. I left

That seems really scummy. Great way to milk people for more money. I think they lost a long time customer today.
Sarah Shaltis: Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a Warby Parker. All the workers were so rude and cold. They were so incompetent in adjusting glasses, she put her hands all over my lenses and wrenched my glasses until they almost broke and then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do about it. I will never set foot in this location ever again.
Andre Iadipaolo: The retail experience at Warby Parker was pretty good. I had an eye exam and purchased glasses last year, all with very friendly service. However, DO NOT BUY WARBY PARKER GLASSES, THEY SCRATCH EXTREMELY EASILY.Out of all the glasses I've ever had in my life, these have scrached the easiest. Less than a full year having them and the lenses look like I've had them for 6. Shopping experience was good, frames look awesome.... does not make up for the extremely low quality product. Take your business elsewhere, Warby Parker is not worth the hype.

They messed up my contacts prescription, I ordered ill-fitting contacts that were bi-weekly instead of dailies as the prescription indicated, and when I tried to get the daily contacts ordered they insisted on me coming in for a completely new eye exam, even though my prescription was still valid, and did not offer to waive the eye exam fee. I will not be coming back for eye glasses or contacts.

A man answers and tells me yes store is open and they are open for inside business. No appointments needed. I Drive down and they are closed!!! No signs on the doors of why or anything. There is a positive ending though. I went to Ford Health system OptimEyes and Kerri whom helped me as extremely friendly. Plus They were following all Covid protocols so they received my $1546 worth of business from the different peers of glasses I purchased.

Our first experience with Dr. Chisom C. today was fantastic! So patient with our son…and Nick W. has a keen eye for frames that fit…another gold-star experience at Heritage!

Karen Pettiford: I was on my way to pick up my glasses and called to let them know I was only minutes away. I was told that an employee had an emergency and they were closing and walking out the door, but if I got there before they'd left they'd gladly hand me my glasses. I got there 10 minutes before closing time and they had left. The guy that said he'd gladly hand me my glasses if he was still there asked me what would I do if I'd gotten an emergency call. First off if someone were to call and it was an emergency calling 15 to 20 minutes before closing is Not an emergency, clearly they didn't want to wait and I rushed there on a half flat tire after getting someone to sit with my 2 yr old granddaughter not to be able to get my glasses. Clearly certain staff members here are unthoughtful and unprofessional

deshaun willingham: I’ve had an exam from seen optical which I highly recommend. I took my prescription from over a month a go to heritage for SAFETY GLASSES!!!! It’s been 6weeks I’ve heard nothing. Before that I received a call confirming my order. They had the wrong script wrong first name the right telephone number and the right last name a long with a host of staff issues and manager who just up and quit. I was told my paper work couldn’t be found. I gave them all the correct information and still waiting. Horrible I don’t recommend anyone go here. Located on east Jefferson. I wouldn’t give them a star.

I brought both of my siblings the second time, and they also had an amazing experience. Our doctor was very knowledgable, courteous, and helpful. Our optometrist, Jamela, was really helpful when it came to choosing glasses because all three of us had different insurances, and she was able guide us to what would be covered for each of us and provide us with useful information. Jamela made sure to phone us after picking up our frames to ensure everything went smoothly. The Henry Ford OptimEyes, the Detroit Renaissance Center, has Jamela to thank for that.

She was the first one who made picking out glasses an exciting experience rather than tedious trial and error process to find glasses that I both love and that fit my big head. Tina's store is not full of the same types of styles and colors over and over. Tiffany Haney-Brown: HORRIBLE service overall with SVS! My husband had an awful customer service experience at this location. His "optician" was just inattentive when he was picking out his glasses. And even when I was looking at frames she wasn't really listening to what I was saying. When I purchased glasses at the Warren location, I ended up exchanging my lenses for single vision. I NEVER requested to remove Transitions from my original order, but somehow it was taken off the order. I called the office and the lame optician said "You're outside of the 45-day warranty." So I'm stuck with lenses because someone messed up. I've called corporate and I hope they can address this issue because glasses are too expensive to get the order wrong and then say "outside of warranty." STAY AWAY FROM SVS!!!!!!

I rushed there for service one day and granted they were closing in 20 minutes but like any other professional company, you help every customer that enters before closing. They turned me away. I came back and placed my order and specifically asked how long it would take. I was told a week. It’s been over a week and now I’m being told another week. This is a huge inconvenience.
A Wright: The staff were friendly, however I was disappointed with my eye exam. Not sure if there is new protocol between eye doctors and insurance but I felt my eye exam was subpar. The staff asked me multiple times if I had specific questions or concerns for the doctor and my answer was ‘no’. However, I think this response probably gave the ok for what I feel was an incomplete exam. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years. At every eye exam I’ve always had my eyes dilated to look at the back of my eyes. This didn’t happen at my eye exam on yesterday. The doctor just readdressed my old prescription and used his otoscope to look at my eyes. This is just a little concerning as I have family history of glaucoma and cataracts. I don’t think I should have to verbally request a standard screening, if that is what I’m there for and the insurance is paying. Maybe I’m misinformed. I guess I’ll find out for sure next year at a different eye doctor… I had to edit this. I forgot to mention the best part of my experience. The staff was more than accommodating! I wore an old pair of glasses to the appt and needed them adjusted. Without hesitation, multiple staff went out of their way to make sure this was done. Also, when selecting a pair of glasses, staff was more than helpful, showing me multiple options of different styles. I really did appreciate this as I can be very indecisive.
Deborah Brown: Call last Thursday to inform son glasses frame had broken, first Lady say she will contact insurance company and call me back she never did. I had just pick up new glasses in December. Call back on Saturday said she will look and see if they had frame put us on hold 5min then said she will call us back never did! Call back Monday and talk with young man Corey at Mack & Moross so professional at for son d-day name look it up said he could order them with payment and they take a few days and was able to pick new frame up on Thursday!! Paid $400 for my Clear frames and they turned colors like a clear phone case does brownish gray. Instead of them replacing them.they said its probley from make up or chemicals etc . I only where at night time to read 2x a week .because I have contacts smh sad and sorry.
Destiny Styles: I have been a client at this location since I was about 5 years old. I have a great experience with my eye doctor every time I get an exam, I am always given the proper lens prescribed for my vision. The receptionist are always polite and the staff are always very helpful. I highly recommend this location for your eye care family. I absolutely love the staff they are very polite.

As if she thought I was going say state insurance! I would never spend a dime for any kind of service. LaShantae Hall: Definitely don't recommend. I went in at the end of March for my eye exam. It was uncomfortable but I didn't think much of it because the tech was still learning I assume. Picked out my glasses and was told 7-10 days. They weren't ready in that time frame. I got told 10 -15 business days when I called to check on them. Ok. I called back after the 10 days and was told my glasses came in but they had the wrong transition color. Refunded me $50 and told me the correct glasses would be ready in 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks to call back and they still aren't ready. I completely understand things are a bit slower now but this is ridiculous.

After going back and forth they took my insurance customer service number and called after calling they let me know they found me under my insurance and everything was set. The morning of my appointment they need say they can't find my daughter. Because of this I didn't show only to find out the found her later on. I rescheduled my appointment and the day before the next appointment they could not find me on my insurance again. This staff is sad and don't know what they are doing. Will ever try to come here again. Was only coming here for the convince nothing else. Found a better place downtown to go.

( this is where they get you ) Most of the options, you don't need$275 will quickly turn into $1,000.. be careful. I went to pickup my glasses and no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. Conrad Bajer: Worst place you can go. Just spend the extra ten minutes and drive to sam's club, way more professional and not expensive. This place is just bonkers and is going to eventually stay closed. How you charge someone for glasses when you yourself stated that the exam must of been done incorrectly smh.
j Smith: PBH Optical is the greatest, I spoke with the owner whom repaired my Cartier glasses in a very short time in sharp contrast to the company where the glasses were purchased lens crafters Fairlane about 8 years ago, since that location closedown I was told the Telegraph/12 mile store would would handle ( a screw had fallen off) I arrived at location an associate told me the glasses would have to be shipped out, the older female manager rudely shouted out if you don’t have a receipt we can’t do anything! I had traveled like 30 miles, to be given no consideration to what my problem was, very poor customer service . Glade for great services at PBH optical!
