The owner Joyce Stallings was very kind and interested in our needs when I called. She was even more attentive in person. She introduced us to a caregiver who was a young man named Quintin. He was very caring and easy to receive with a great personality. He and my dad hit it off great and my dad liked him right away. After he cared for my dad I thanked him and he thanked me for allowing him to care for our loved one. I’ve scheduled another day with them and requested Quintin again. I think Visiting Angels are a perfect fit for my family’s needs and recommend them highly if you’re looking for someone who will care for your loved ones as you would.
Peggy Stewart: When I contacted Visiting Angels, my mother had been diagnosed with beginning dementia. I realized she had a problem but had no idea what it was until I was toldby her physician. The director at Visiting Angels, Joyce Stallings, paired me with a woman who became me and Mom's angel. She assisted me in helping with all of my mother's daily needs. Sometimes people with dementia will not bathe and that was one of the problems we encountered. The caregiver brought my mother food with her own money, took her out on daily excursions and in general became my right hand incaring for Mom. Eventually, we had to move Mom into my home, and the caregiverwas there with us until my mother recently departed this life. Without the assistance of this caregiver, I would not have been able to give mom the last peaceful, days she deserved.
Mary Ann Weber: Visiting Angels has been a life saver for my Mother and I. I have used their services when my Mom was in need of help after being hospitalized. The staff and caregivers are wonderful. They provide a great service (and relief) in the daily care of the client’s needs, i.e. accompanying my Mom to doctor appointments. Elina Gelfand: Always Best Care was providing services for two of my special needs sons. Caregiver was wonderful and had wonderful relationship with the boys. However, I was way overcharged - charged for the days that she wasn't in and charged for more hours that she worked in the day. I tried to contact the office on numerous times, but didn't get any email. text or call back.

Carolyn Landers: The fact that this company pay rate is 13.00 13.50 at the most is beyond me and caregivers are essential and we are always look over and paid coins. They have alot of call offs I'm guessing because of the pat rate.
Suzanne Kowalski: Very disappointed. A family member contracted this Home Care Companies services and it was awful from the start. The caregiver didn't show the first day. The office was no help when we called to inquire for a replacement. When we finally did get a caregiver she was nice but did inform us that she wasn't coming back because we lived to far for 12.00 a hour. My Aunt needed 24 hour care too often no caregiver showed up leaving family members to take off work to cover the shifts. This company over sells what they can deliver. The management will sweet talk you promising results but you never get any. The manager comes across sweet and caring but there is a undertone that makes you think she is only concerned with the profit. The management needs a big reconstruction and perhaps pay their caregivers more especially considering what my family was paying. Extremely disappointing experience.

Geralyn Will: My parents have been using Affordable HomeCare Care Pros since April. The care that they received was wonderful. The Care Pros treated them with respect and cared for them much like if they were their own family. Affordable was responsive to any questions or concerns that we had and always took our concerns seriously. If we were to need additional care at a later date, I would have no problem returning to Affordable for that care.

Esther Bay: Shannee has been an outstanding patient attendant for Joe. He has so many additional losses in addition to the progression of his dementia (loss of vision, functioning of hands, and hearing). Most recently, his caregiver was emergently wisked to another county to get the rehabilitation she needed and to be near her family. This left him very along and without his support. Shannee stepped up to the plate and provided a warm and accepting attitude, tolerated his loose thoughts and need to be in his home so he could carry out his "routines". Moreover, Shannee has had some personal issues in her life yet continued on adhering to this schedule and keeping Joe safe. Kudos to his RN, Glenda Knight for creating a personalized care plan, so Shannee could maintain his standard of care in his home while he adjusted to 2 months of being alone. With her help, he is safe, well cared for and making good adjustments while his wife heals. Thanks Shannee & Glenda!!

Robert Bough: Angelia Carroll has been my husbands caregiver for several months . Bob has dementia so the following issues can be difficult to handle. He looks forward to her each morning as she has been able to get him to do bathing, shaving and other personal hygiene each day that had been an issue with other care givers. Most importantly they give him companionship. When I get busy it is just too difficult to visit on a daily basis and Visiting Angels help bridge the gap so I can work with my clients without them giving up any quality of work for me. I am truly grateful for all that Visiting Angels does to make mine and my dad’s live’s more full and less stressful. Dena is his regular caregiver and she is an absolute sweetheart. Any time we had a question or request, our calls and emails have been returned promptly.At our initial meeting, Robert Johnson, owner & director, was professional, courteous and treated my father with respect. He listened to our needs and matched us up with a fantastic caregiver.The very first night that Jessica stayed with my father I instantly felt at ease. I am confident that she could handle any situation that may arise. My father is in the early stages of dementia and she seems to know what to say to get his mind to change directions. Kristen Moore: Will leave your family helpless without any kind of warning or attempt to find coverage. I have over 10 years of experience in Home Care and Retirement facilities and this is honestly the most poorly run and unprofessional business I’ve seen. No owner of a reputable business should argue and berate clients like Diane does. I briefly witnessed this business from the perspective of an employee and it was truly alarming to see the lack of training process these aides go through before they come through your door and care for a human being — let alone someone who needs advanced care. (Not the fault of staff. Most of the girls I met seemed to have prior training and were very nice) If you’re looking to seek meaningful employment with room to grow, keep looking! If you’re looking for a home care company for your family, Synergy home care is incredible!

Carla Henley: The owners of this company are the most unprofessional, and dishonest that we have come across, and they are mentally abusive to seniors.They refuse to do their job, and get hateful when any questions are asked of them. They defraud the VA by taking money for a job, then refuse the care to people who really need it, like my father who is a 100% disabled veteran confined to a wheelchair.I sincerely believe in my heart that this company in fact does NOT care about your family, and will abandon your loved one without a second thought. They gave less than a 24 hour notice that they were ceasing services to my father. They were done as of 4pm today. His evening care they were supposed to provide was to begin at 6pm today.The owner Diana Cain is extremely rude and spiteful to anyone who questions her and should not be in charge of helping anyone. Brenda the other owner will rarely call back.This company is extremely petty and unprofessional. They should not be trusted or hired by anyone who is trying to get home care for their loved ones.Sadly, I had to give one star to post. Shame on all of you for treating my parents so horribly. I hope everyone that reads this steers clear. Maybe you should put your pettiness aside, do your jobs by providing even satisfactory care for the clients you take on.
Coleen Fortener: The owners and office staff of this company are unprofessional and unorganized. They do not make schedules ahead of time, leaving clients without care for hours. When questioned about coverage, office staff becomes argumentative and unsympathetic. The staff is the lowest paid in comparison to other downriver agencies which attributes to the company’s high turnover. If you are looking for a company to abandon your love one in their time of need, then this is the company for you!I should mention, most of the caregivers are hard working and care a great deal for their clients.

Debbie Liedel: When we needed immediate care for a family member, Senior Helpers of Farmington Hills Michigan came promptly to our assistance. They guided us with a flawless transition for our elderly family member from FL to residential care waiting at home in MI. The assessment process was completed upon arrival back home and 24hr caregivers were in place scheduled to deliver caring services. Being such a small family unit we relied heavily on the competent assistance they provided. My mom had Alzheimer's for ten years, and for almost a year, we hired caregivers for my mom (I was not employed here when we hired the first caregiver). Krystal was great with my mom, and very helpful to my dad. She moved and left the company, and we just didn't click with #2, so I asked for a change after three days of Michelle, and we we're blessed to have Gloria. She eventually helped us move my mom into a home with other Alzheimer's women. Gloria would call my dad occasionally to see how my mom was doing until she passed in April. The caregivers are trained in dementia and Alzheimers by Senior Helpers, so I felt they were very capable. I have recommended them to my parent's friends, who again make my review worthy. I see the compassion by the staff from the inside AND in the homes. I would recommend Senior Helpers, and have many times.
