Rueben Danou: I stop at this branch because of its convenient location. I ONLY stop here for the most minor things I need from my bank. And I love fifth third, I go to a different branch and feel so welcomed and that they’re willing to do whatever it takes to help me solve whatever I have going on. The people working this branch are WORKING this branch. They’re not there to help people, they’re there because it’s their job. Banking is something serious, not retail, etc.Anyways, the last time I was there, was next in line, a black lady was called before me, an older black gentleman was behind me, the woman in the office comes towards the 2 of us, completely ignoring me, and helps the gentleman out.After waiting for about 15 minutes, I get called and tell her what I need, she tells me I need to sit down to wait for the lady in the office.Racist.
mike derrick Counsel: This particular bank on 8 mile near livernois is a terrible bank there were three women there , two that gave me a hard time I was brought into the managers office twice because they didn't believe my 5/3 check issued by 5/3 was real , after 25 mins I was told I would have to pay a fee , the two main women were not professional they were not decent people.

Keith Butler: Fifth 3rd is just a horrible bank for business accounts all around. The fees are ridiculous, there are no benefits loans, credit cards etc. For the last 2 plus years they’ve been saying it’s coming but never has. So basically they’re just holding your money. I was in Mexico for 2 weeks and could not get through to handle any account business. There is no online chat or customer service option which in 2022 is just down right crazy. I get back and go into the Livernois Branch and all they could do is say I’m sorry and gave me the customer service number. Never again.

I just received my money with no receipt. When I asked the young man for a receipt he seem to have an attitude. I will be looking for a new bank once I come back from vacation. That's ridiculous.

I come back two days later to find out my cash and check is on hold. They asked me to validate a brand new business. I usually bank online, but I wanted a local bank to handle cash. After, this experience I will never work with 53rd again.

John Smith: I've been to this branch maybe 15 times for basic deposits and withdrawals and I've never had a negative experience. Small talk doesn't seem to interfere with speed. The people in the offices have also came out to help if the main line in the lobby was getting long.Completely unrelated to their customer service, the women in this branch are absolutely beautiful.
Destiney Blades: Worst location ever. The company I work for banks here. In the last few months they have screwed up 4 times with either forgetting to give us deposit slips or messing up our change. Toya Goins: Came to the drive through at approximately 4:40. I didn’t get waited on until 5:10 while the 3 tellers inside laughed and talked to the customers inside. Every time I hit the buzzer they would say someone would be with you shortly while one of the other ladies who I’m assuming was the manager stood behind the teller holding a conversation instead of servicing me. I was only making a deposit. So simple. While another teller comes talking through the microphone saying the customers had lengthy transactions. It only takes a second to put someone on hold to do a simple transactions to go back to something so lengthy. These bank tellers need customer service skills reinstated ASAP. Terrible

If not Robert, then Aricka or Miss Trudy— are unfailingly polite and upbeat. I’ve never had a neighborhood bank until now but it’s great to have one now.

It seems like she must have some form of dementia due to the fact I HAD TO STOP HER FROM PUTTING ANOTHER CUSTOMER FUNDS INTO MY ACCOUNT. Terrible location full of unprofessional staff.
Mary Couch: If I could give them a negative 5 I would. This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered while trying to take care of business. Particularly Trudy and Omar, they are the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. The other teller (who always has a frown on her face) it’s just rude. Loud, gossiping about the customers talking about people’s business where other customers can hear is unacceptable. It’s sad and unfortunate when you try to do business in the city where you live & work that you get this type of treatment. Whenever I go into a fifth third bank in the suburbs I never encounter what I have experienced at this location. I’m closing all of my accounts and taking my business elsewhere. Now I have to be inconvenienced because they don’t know how to treat the customers. Smh!

April Brown: I've been banking here for a year and I've had nothing but great experiences every tIme I need assistance. They had the exact kind of savings i needed. They offer a prepaid debit card that you can transfer finds to protect your account when making online purchases. Alli of the staff is professional and friendly. They have many ATMs you can use without getting fees. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the security door. It always confuses me but I understand the need for safety. I highly recommend this bank!

Thought I would give it a try again, considering this is the closest branch and I have a small child I do not want to take out in the cold. The second experience was way worse than the first. Waited 20 minutes (only person in line) just to be told they don’t have enough “big bills”. Then they couldn’t verify my signature. Was told to come inside anyways. Just close the drive thru down if you don’t want to service customers through it. The only friendly banker is Trudy, the rest are rude and unprofessional, they make it seem like they have a problem giving you YOUR money.

Marie Van Buren: I was thinking about getting my home refinanced, wasted a lot of time with these people. They purposely didn’t tell me important information and I almost got scammed into sending in an application with them (which I’m happy I stopped, I’m sure they get some kind of reward to push people into this).Not only did they leave vital information out to trick me into applying, when I had additional questions, they “couldn’t” seem to answer them. They kept dodging important questions I needed answered before going forward.That’s when I had enough, too many red flags. Manipulation. Not forthright. Just completely unprofessional and an embarrassment to GP.
Brent Collins III: Maybe it is the time of day that I come in to pay a visit to get a few things accomplished, but there is never a wait too long in line, I always manage to get the happiest teller, I get everything accomplished without any issues, and leave with a smile on my face from the customer service. Definitely grateful for this branch.
Jaspuneet Mohie: One of the most helpful, knowledgeable Fifth Third branches I’ve been to. The manager, Mr. Andy takes the quality of customer service a few notches higher by resolving the situation instead of just pointing the customer in different directions. Highly recommended.

Doesnt the banks customer pay enough fees to cover the cashing of checks they write?
