Kyle McCarthy: Stopped in before a concert at LCA. Walked in on a Tuesday evening, and hadn't made a rez but they were able to seat the 2 of us no problem. Though I'm sure on busy nights reservations are recommended. Great tapas spot, we tried several different menu items and I would have tried anything on the menu. The margaritas were classic, high quality and so refreshing.
James Myers: Always amazing. Every time we go downtown to eat I look at new places and just end up coming back here.
KaIndy Global: Updated review 05/2023:It saddens me to write this review because La Féria has been our go-to restaurant in Detroit for many years. We did not dine here for this updated review** (our last visit was in 05/2022 and was excellent). But unfortunately, their criteria for making/canceling reservations/dining is very customer unfriendly. You can make a reservation online, which is great but you have to give your credit card information and after your reservation is complete, $25 is immediately taken out of your account. You cannot call for a reservation. But, If you want to cancel your reservation, you have to call for someone to physically cancel it. The first time we tried canceling, the staff did not succeed in doing it. We had to call another time, which took 15 tries of calling for someone to answer the phone. If you fail to cancel your reservations 24 hours in advance (be aware of days they are closed) you will not get your $25 back. Also, after you reserve, you get an email stating when you dine there an automatic 3% processing fee is added plus 20% gratuity for all checks. It just seemed like there is too much stress/rules/fees with wanting to make a reservation for a tapas restaurant.Previous review 10/2019:One of the most Spanish authentic restaurants we have been to in Michigan. The food is awesome and the hospitality is great every time.
Callie Bussell: I absolutely love this place! Great wine, great food, I just recommend making a reservation!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Pulpo a La Gallega, Tortilla Española, Charcuterie and Cheese Plate …More
Nazariy Dumanskyy: Amazing place! AMAZING FOOD!!🔥 Amazing people! One of the best and most enjoyable experiences I’ve had!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Chocolate Con Churros, Calamares Fritos Con Patatas, Charcuterie and Cheese Plate …More
JC: Overall, La Feria was a good experience. The food came out quickly. All the food was hot and fresh. The service was excellent and the servers were friendly. We didn't have a reservation so we had to sit at the bar. The bar had plenty of room to share the tapas dishesThe food didn't have as much seasoning as I would've expected based on other tapas experiences I've had. Most of the dishes were quite bland, especially the chicken dishes. I think that the best dishes we had were the churros with the chocolate sauce and the shrimp. We tried every meat tapas dish on the menu. They were decent, but I think they all required more seasoning.Parking: Parking is hit or miss, especially on a Saturday when the weather is nice.
Aaron: Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday. You should only come here on Tuesday. The dish everyone want to order will only be provided on Tuesday. However, today is Thursday.
T Scott Galloway: I understand that running a restaurant is a real challenge these days and I'm happy to pay a reservation deposit, a living wage charge, and have the restaurant pass along credit card processing fees to me for the convenience this form of payment affords - BUT in exchange I expect to have my reservation honored and to receive attentive service. My reservation of almost two weeks ago was not available when my party of four arrived. We were told to wait in a hallway by the bathrooms for 40+ minutes despite there being room at the bar and open tables that could have accomodated us. 3 members of a party of 5 that arrived 15 minutes after us were seated 15 minutes before us. Once seated our waiter failed to provide us with water, explain the menu or the wine list and made infrequent stops by our table. The food and drinks were excellent and the prices very reasonable given the creativity and quality of the food - so unfortunate that the front of the house let down the back of the house.
Christina D.M.: Yum. This place is a winner every time. Delicious food, consistent flavors, cozy atmosphere, and kind staff.
Brendan Watson: Meal was good, not great. Some of the flavors lacked much subtlety - the kitchen really LOVES garlic. I do, too, but I had fire breath after eating a subtle of dishes with that one note of flavor. Service was friendly, but so, so. And we were told we had a time limit to eat when we sat down, which was a first for me. No real strong complaints, but pretty middle of the road experience.
megan widman: The tapas here are quite authentic (I am not Spanish but lived in Spain for a year and ate a lot of them!) and reasonably priced. Highlights include the gambas al ajillo (shrimp with garlic) - be sure to dip your crusty bread in the remaining garlic oil. The Pulpo al Gallego was delicious and on special. It was smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The churros are divine.I highly recommend making a reservation. Note that you will have to pay a $25 reservation fee, which will later be deducted from your bill. This was fine with me, but when our party of six arrived, the hostess took us to two tables and pointed at them and said, "there are your tables". I asked if we were to join them ourselves and she said yes. We then proceeded to scrape and squeak them across the floor as she watched. It was VERY strange. I would think for the not so minor price of $25, we could expect to have our tables adjoined, especially since our reservation was at 5:45.The hostess also made sure to remind us before walking away that we were limited to 90 minutes. Our waiter was attentive and on top of everything. He was friendly and welcoming. There is also a 20% gratuity and 3% service charge added onto every bill. The sign says to "ensure their staff receive a living wage". Of course I always leave at least 20%, but I found it curious that they are passing on this responsibility entirely to the customer and was left wondering if the owners also pay a living wage to their staff.Given the extra charges, strange service, and pressure to finish our meal quickly, I don't think I will be returning, although I did really enjoy the food and ambiance.
Jenna Jackson Wright: The staff is always so friendly and welcomingRecommended dishes Charcuterie and Cheese Plate, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Patatas Bravas, Chocolate Con Churros …More

Nat: Great beer
Rob Thorne: Good beer selection and friendly service.
Kelly Mramor: I just love the cat theming and my food was good!
Crystal Marie: Had a great time with my siblings yesterday! My brother came in from out of town, and this was the perfect spot to meet at on a rainy evening! The marguitas are tasty (strawberry), and my other brother and sisinlaw liked the burgers and fries. It's definitely a neighborhood spot I frequent, so I'm glad everyone enjoyed it.
Carl Klaudt: Try the chicken and waffles! You will be addicted
Julian K.: Great Michigan Beer 🍻
Yuliya Koval: Cool atmosphere and aromatic food. I loved Coriander in the Arugula-Avocado Egg sandwich.
RandomAndysChannel2: Definitely want to visit again
Eileen Thompson: Excellent food and amazing service. The fries are excellent and the tomato bisque and grilled cheese is seasoned well and always perfectly cooked. It's one of my favorite entrees. Love the decor of this location as well.
Beans Baked: Not the best if you want flavor but if you're used tasteless you'll love it
Michael Jones: Service was kind of slow, but it was packed so that's understandable. Food was delicious especially the Cosmic fries. The drinks are not very strong but typical for a restaurant.
Rodney Carter: Very laid back with great service and food. I will definitely be back. One of my CFOs favorite places 🎯
Ryan Thummel: Not nearly as many beers as there used to be. New smash burgers are really good though.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Helen Mart: Love the atmosphere and taste of the food. It is a very busy place . Please clean your floors in the restaurant and bathroom.
Chad Fitzgeorge: The killer Mac is to die for!!!!!!!
Young O#1 Rice: Great service
John Mathai: Great food great atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly. The food and drinks were great as well.
Susan W: The fries are of course incredible, and i've had them before so this time I tried the Vladimir Poutine which was not only a funny play on words but a really yummy dish! I only wished there was more pierogi in it.The waitress was also very nice and attentive.I would definitely come back and try more of their food.
Mike White: Found this gem while waiting for a concert. Brought my wife and daughter and we all loved the fries. Fresh crispy and soft with delicious flavor. I got the pretlze bun burger and I will say the bun was soft and flavorful while everything else was moist and delicious. There was a 45 min wait so might wanna get here a little early or get your table reserved so your not waiting in the waiting area to long. However even if you do it will be worth it.The servers gave everyone plenty of attention even that busy and made great recommendations. Thank you for a great meal hopcat.
Stephanie Trude: Consistency has been lacking at this location. From everything to the person answering the phone not being familiar with the menu, menu substitutions are not clarified and communicated, pick up times are not accurate. I was told 10 to 15 minutes and I waited 45+ my order was wrong. So I had to waste my gas come the whole way back I never even got napkins or utensils. Or any compensation whatsoever for the fact that the order was incorrect.
