Monica Simmons: Just had gastric bypass by Dr. Genaw and he's a VERY WONDERFUL man!! He has an AWESOME team at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and I will RECOMMEND him HIGHLY if you're thinking about getting gastric bypass or the sleeve!! All I can say is that You would definitely be in good hands!!
Kim Nash: There are not enough words to describe Dr. Genaw. He is an amazing hands on surgeon. He only provides the best care because he is the best surgeon. He is a "tell it like it is" Dr. Because its what's in the best interest of your life! He pulls no punches on your behalf. But he is in your corner for every round. I had my surgery 20yrs ago. Ive never had one complication. I remember after I woke up during the hospital stay he visited me and I told him how sick I was from the anesthesia, he told my nurse to give me extra anti nausea medicine and she pushed back on him. He said, "this is my patient, give it to her now!!". It saved me from so much vomiting. He is top notch. Hes such an amazing dr, disappointing him is worse than disappointing your own parent. Because he believes in you without judgement 💯. This man, this Dr. Ive never forgotten about in 20 yrs because he was my guardian angel. I hope to see him again someday. You can trust your life with him! He'll never fail you!! Thank you Dr. Genaw, I love you!!
Iamglamorous J: Dr Genaw is amazing. I had gastric bypass weight loss surgery on Janauary 24th. I went from 248 pounds to 158 pounds currently. Still losing. He is amazing with experience beyond one can imagine. I definitely recommend Dr Genaw as my weight loss journey has been top tier because of him.
