Ian Templeton: Very beautiful store with an overall welcoming environment and staff. There is also a wide range of selections where you can find a lot of items in various sizes. The shirts are a bit pricey, but I was able to get a shirt on clearance and only paid half price. I recommend for those who are looking to shop downtown.

Polo Nius: The Spot is Bere Fiyah! The boutique has lovely vibes and merchandise. Shout out to the saleswoman, Meagan. She made the purchase experience worthwhile. She's also a great conversationalist.
Gabrielle Williams: Love the overall esthetic of the store and its items. I heard about this boutique and made a trip there to see what it was all about. I did feel a slight tension while in the store with the young lady working there. It was almost as if she was suspicious of me for not fitting a certain demographic, which I found really unfortunate, but did not voice while I was there. I really wanted to fully support this brand given what they stand for.

Mel: Very cute shop. VERY well curated, but a bit overpriced. I wish they had more of a range of sizes. I come here often and most items are size 6 or smaller.

They even host free clothing repair events so you can keep wearing the pieces you have and learn how to sew!I liked their location in eastern market and am excited to visit their new relocated storefront in new center!

Their insta story / shop is a good place to get a feel for what they have but there is so much more in store!Also, fun stop on a girls day. Spent 2 hrs there with some girl friends once trying on and chatting with the amazing ladies that work there. We all end up buying at least one thing! New location has plenty of parking and other retail and bar/restaurant spots to walk to nearby!

Leigh Yeh: The BEST vintage and consignment store ever! They have the greatest clothes, super reasonable pricing, and handle everything with care. I’ve lived in LA and NYC the past several years, and still continue to purchase from Boro frequently and get things shipped out to me all the time. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on the pieces I get from here, and if I’m ever in Detroit I’ll always be sure to stop in. Highly, highly suggest!
Shawna Brown: High end, very gently loved pieces for a steal! The shop itself is super clean, organized, and smells great. I love the exposed brick, circle iron staircase, and piping for clothes rack. I scored an amazing pair of leather pants and lace body suit. Will definitely be back!
Brittany Galeas: I love this shop. I've purchased clothing & sold some of my clothing on consignment here and it's been such a great experience, on both ends. If you're looking for something super unique you have to stop by Boro (see pictures, baby blue backless maxi dress with bell sleeves? Yes please). Side-note, I love their IG. Follow them to get some outfit inspiration. In conclusion, I love Boro. Will shop here again. And again. And again.

Cynthia Hood: I visited this location after dining at Le Culture Restaurant a few doors down! A lovely shop, with wonderful pieces. I felt like I was in a shop in Amsterdam, kool vibes and the structure of the building is wonderful and something to see! I purchased a vintage necklace and earrings set. And I wore it for the first time yesterday. I received sooooo many compliments from men and women! I am glad I stopped in!!!! Thanks for opening this gem and investing in Detroit, and continued success!!!

Sequoyah M: Stopped by Mama Coo’s on a whim while waiting on a brunch reservation and this place was MAGICAL!! I feel like I could’ve bought the entire store and the person working there, Desmond, was hyping me up to live my shopping spree fantasy, ha! Everything was so well curated and all the brass, vintage, and other uniqueties were incredibly beautiful. There were SO many pieces that would be great for spiritual spaces like an altar! I could’ve spent at least an hour in this little shop. Definitely stop in here and have a look-see, you won’t regret it!

Luna: Huge selection squeezed into a tiny store. So many amazing things to browse including lots of earrings (my favorite), and even some small home goods. Most of all I was surprised by their prices, SUPER reasonable. I got a vintage midi skirt for $10, vintage mod dress $17, vintage earrings $5. I don’t think that can be beat. The associate said they are bringing in new items daily. Masks are required!!

Katie Laskowska: Love this store! Thank you for having such a great Instagram account that allows us out of towners to know when to come in for special deals or items. The lady working the register was so dang nice! Friend material, honestly. The place is a little small and hard to get around in (would be impossible for someone heavily overweight or handicapped), but they do outdoor market days occasionally so if you are not able to shop indoors, you do have the chance to do that at least. Be aware that parking is limited and not ideal.
