Karen DeFiore: I had BBL and Halo and was burned and scared. After paying $1500 for services, I’ve almost paid that to remove the scaring. Multiple antibiotics, creams and disfiguring. Dr Hajjar denied that I was burned and was in denial. 6 months later and I’m still putting on expensive scar creams.

I went to my family medical practitioner for help, and he referred me to Dr. Hajjar. I was reluctant to go because I did not think that anyone could help me. I had been suffering from excessive and tearing skin and a ventral hernia for 18 years. I was at the lowest emotional point I had ever been. I didn’t even want anyone to see me. I was slowly disappearing. I had lost weight thinking I would feel better about myself but that didn’t happen because of all the loose skin that looked horrible. Dr. Hajjar created a new body for me and gave me my self-esteem back and my life back. I also liked that he did the procedure in a hospital, which made me feel safe. His staff treated me with openness, kindness, and respect. I couldn't have felt more secure and safe from the hospital staff from the information desk to the operating room staff. They were supportive and communicated well with my family with me in the hospital. All the staff was a lot of fun to be around as well. All of the hospital staff couldn’t stop expressing to us how professional and thorough Dr. Hajjar is. Lauren Lapointe: I’ve seen Dr. Lumley a few times for both Botox and Lip Filler. I do like his work, however; the front desk staff needs to work on their manners. Never once, did I have a pleasant or inviting experience while checking in. They have an attitude without reason.

I called literally 5 TIMES to schedule an appointment and I guess after I told them I was an African American seeking treatment they decided it wasn't a good idea to see me, so instead of being bluntly honest, they decided it would just be best to hang up on me each time I called. And then someone had the nerve to answer the phone , only to say, "Oh well they hung up", as if they had said hello to me in the first place, after I spoke to someone, only for her to say, "Yeah I get it hold on". I wouldn't recommend this place to ANY PERSON OF COLOR. Don't waste your time or money here.

He addressed all of my concerns and picked an implant that was proportionate to my body/size resulting in a natural look. Charles-Ray Pennington: Dr. Rozzelle pinpointed an extremely rare condition I had called "torticollis." It was a condition that was preventing the muscle on one side of my neck from stretching making me look as if I had a "crooked head." She performed the surgery (which lasted 20 minutes) and was extremely caring, kind, and professional. I was only 12 at the time but I have never forgotten her. 10 years later and you can hardly tell I ever had a "crooked head." I actually have to point it out to people now. Thanks Doc for changing my life forever. I was once bullied for my head but after the surgery and all that physical therapy, the bullying stopped.
Lindsay Miracle: This amazing woman fixed my baby up 13 years ago and still remembers her face to this day, and the memories of when she first came to her as a newborn. Micole Heggs: Dr rozzelle did a 8 hr reconstruction surgery on my son head when he was 2 yr old. When I tell u I was a nervous wreck but dr insured me he would be fine and sure enough it was a success. He’s 4 now and u can’t even tell he was cut from ear to ear. It was a long healing process but I thank god for such a gifted surgeon like her. I recommend her she is awesome.

Rebecca Swoveland: I won’t take stars away for Dr. Rozzelle because she did amazing work on my daughter. Her current office staff, or at least the lady I spoke to, leave much to be desired. I called to inform her there was a pile up on the freeway and ask if we could still come if we would be late. I told her my appointment was for 4:20. She very hatefully told me that no it’s for 4. I told her “I’m sorry the appointment card said 4:20” She then says “No it didn’t but it doesn’t matter! She’ll still be seen.” The whole interaction was unprofessional and if I hadn’t already had appointments with Dr. Rozzelle, I may have considered other options.

Joshua Aylward: Dr Rozzelle has done surgery on 2 of my kids. My daughter had crainio vault reconstruction at 8 mos, which turned out beautifully. She has done 2 surgeries so far on my son for a bilateral cleft lip & palate. She is skilled at what she does. Dr Rozzelle takes her patients care very seriously. Their health and safety is a concern for her. I feel like she will do everything in her power to make sure our kids medical needs are addressed. She is a perfectionist & it shows in the quality of care she provides her patients. She’ll even get down on a child’s level to explain a procedure to them in a way they can understand. Her office staff have been helpful over the years (so far we’ve worked with her for 7 1/2 years. We have another decade to go). Her assistant, Peggy, is particularly helpful. Dr Rozzelle is definitely a doctor you want on your child’s team.
Sugarpuffthefox: I had to put a star on to comment...0 stars...she lied to CP's stating "I have never met the mother pre surgery" when in FACT...my arms holding my kid were in all pre-op pictures. Her misleading statements led to the removal of my child. 18 months later & $6,000 later...my child was returned...with an apology from CPS! I was told not to google my kids procedure due to the graphic nature...I wish I wouldn't have listened to that...Do yourself a favor...take the trip to U of M Mott Children's,Ann Arbor or Beaumont Children's, Royal Oak

Meghann Hawley: Let me start off by saying I had 4 consultations with other doctors before I found the surgeon of my dreams! He takes his time, takes insurance, and he’s a master of his craft. I’m 34 and I had a mommy makeover. I went from a size F bra to a size D. Including breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction. I lost 50lbs prior to surgery as doctor recommended. People don’t even recognize me! My scars are so small and minimal. Every appointment was amazing with Nicolette! Just had my last check up and I’m starting scar treatment with Ruth the new PA! Connor Mallory: Completely botched a young trans mans top surgery and didn't care about the results. Do not let this man near you, especially if you're a trans person.
Exodus Cruz: Absolutely horrified at this doctor's actions towards a young trans male, instead of sending him to a capable top surgeon, this "doctor" decided to mutilate someone's chest. It's EXTREMELY unlikely that this was anything but a hate crime. (Look up Eli Joiner, the images are not for the faint of heart.) Considering that he likely paid you thousands of dollars for the permanent damage you did, you should be ashamed Herman. I truly hope the hospital sees this and decides to hire a replacement.
Matthew Oliver: Did not perform top surgery correctly on transgendered individual. May be good at plastic surgery but that is not what top surgery is.

brooke wiese: Overall experience with surgery was good. I was told they provide 3 complimentary laser treatments for scarring. My 3rd appointment was set and cancelled by them due to the machine breaking - in January. I had to call about rescheduling 2 times- once in February and again in March. And the 2nd time was told I can no longer get this laser treatment at a time I previously was seen for it (4:30pm) because they set a new schedule. This procedure takes a total of 5 minutes and as someone with a full time job until 4 pm I cannot take off work to drive 40 minutes round trip for a 5 minute laser. The front desk staff I spoke to was not accommodating at all. Very disappointing considering I am not happy with the scarring at this point- 7 months out.

Kathleen Lewis: Just had liposuction done and I’m so happy I chose Dr. Masri. Scheduling was easy. They do the surgical clearance at the clinic which is convenient. I cannot help but think this was done as a financial move because I had said I was moving to florida and I feel as if the motive was to get as much money out of me as possible because I may never be back. Endia Greer: I didn’t get a post op call. Then I was scheduled for a zoom appointment with him and that was a no call no show. Staff was nice so I give it 2 stars. As for my surgery I was got lipo of my arms back and stomach…nothing was different… I had 16 incisions and looked exactly the same. I had to question if they even touched my back because there were no incisions on my back, they were all on my stomach…I was told to give it a few months…well after a year I still looked the same. Only thing different is now I have these incisions marks all over my stomach plus 9k down the drain

Tracey took the time to listen to me and said she would speak to the doctor and get back with me. Not only did Tracey take the time, she has been such a blessing. My husband would have had to otherwise wait until March 7th of next year to even have a consultation with U of M for the surgery he is requiring if not for Tracey pointing me in the right direction. He also sent me a pamphlet trying to persuade me to get implants stating that men only want women with large breasts. Was a very uncomfortable experience and felt shady. Do not recommend.
Lisa Chunn: For many years now I have wanted breast augmentation. My apprehension of waiting so long was purely for the fact that I had never had any surgery/anesthesia in my life. I consulted with several surgeons, both in office and via Zoom/phone. During this unique time with a pandemic, I completely understood why most visits were out of office, to ensure patients, staff and surgeons the least possible exposure to Covid. Dr. Roche and his entire medical staff, put me at ease and made me feel the most comfortable. The pre-surgery plan was well outlined and easy to follow, this was great because other consults had an insufficient plan in my eyes. I took it upon myself to ensure I was in great health on the inside and out prior to my surgery, which made my recovery and results absolutely perfect. Then she proceeded to tell me that I would take pictures of the area I want treated and send it to them so the dr can tell me how much it would cost me. Linda Matthews: I’m posting anonymously due to the nature of the type of surgery. I’m writing this after going to two other consultations and experiencing how other professional clinics are. When I went for a consult at Straith, the young lady at the desk ignored me and had her back to me. Presumably she didn’t hear me, but I saw her shopping on Amazon. What kind of office allows for their staff to sit with their laptops propped up in a way that could record us, or take our personal information. No other staff including the doctor had a portable computer or device. Another gal came out to greet me who was pleasant, the nurse was pleasant and the most enjoyable part of the visit, however the consult with the doctor felt rushed. I had some questions regarding my skin, they introduced me to the skin tech, turned out the rude young gal was the skin tech. I could tell she was disinterested in my concerns, and had something negative to say about every product I use. Which is fine, but the attitude was not needed. I asked her about her expertise, it didn’t sound like she’s been doing it very long. I’ve gone to two consultations since then, one last week and one today, the doctors both took their time, and at one I met with the skin lady. She was very thorough, including putting my face in a special device to better understand my needs.

caroline maxwell: Dr Atisha is an excellent plastic surgeon. I healed quickly from a double mastectomy and implants at the same time. Scares healed nicely.She is very passionate about me as a patient but more importantly as a person.she does not hurry through an appointment. rls25132: I had stage c3 breast cancer with all my nodes taken out. I was referred to her by my surgeon for a consult. After waiting 90 minutes, with two med students in there, I was standing bare chested as she basically did not answer my questioned in a professional or respectful manner. She humiliated me, she left me frightened, with no options, she was such an arrogant woman I left in tears. After chemo, extensive painful surgery, and radiation she saw me as nothing more than a waste of her time and money to collect from my insurance and co-pay. I can't tell you if she treats everyone this way, but she sure traumatized me for some reason.

What I didn't expect was the professionalism and adeptness of her staff, from reception staff like Alex (which is too light a term for those front of office), to Sharon (who knows all about insurance submission). This group of personable, focused, driven, diligent women provide a rare commodity in the medical world: trust. I was able to approach an incredibly scary process/procedure without one worry, and as a fifty-year-old widow and bariatric surgery patient, that was pure magic. It took nearly a year from first inquiry to home from hospital and was worth it. No one can bottle security, but this group comes as close as you will get. Thank you for taking care of me.Update: this went south fast after a terrible experience with someone in trusted there. Very disappointed in the shift. Considering their location and offerings, they won't miss me or notice this issue as related.

Jennifer Haisha (Joanie): Had surgery with this Dr in 2019 to replace my implants. Simple procedure, it turned out to be my worse nightmare. She did not follow up with me properly and I ended up with grade 4 capsular contracture!!! Despite the fact from week one I complained about the pain and swelling. I have a bleeding disorder and that should have been a red flag. She dismissed me from her office when I wrote a bad review after numerous attempts to ask to remedy my situation! I had to have my implants removed by another surgeon, waited 1.5 years for them to heal I became disfigured in the right breast and had to go numerous Drs to find one that does reconstructive surgery. This ended up costing me 18,000 ! She never took pics of my breast after her surgery ???? Wonder Why. !!! This Doctor should be banned from doing surgery and she does not care about her patients. Only $$$$$$ Read this again Dr Ellen
Loretta Lemanski: Keep looking around. I am a mess and do not feel attractive to my husband. One breast is a C cup the other is between a B and C. And points to my arm pit. I do not have a belly button any longer. I was left with a flap of skin . This is all after her revision.. keep looking for another dr. I thought I had a good one and a woman who should know what it means.well let my mistake teach you keep looking.....

jennifer Jones: When I made my appointment on the phone, the staff was very friendly and quoted me on a procedure which is part of the reason I decided to try out this facility. The reviews looked promising, but I have learned my lesson with "great reviews "now!! It's not what it seems. As soon as I got there I was informed the girl who quoted my price on the phone that she was new and quoted me wrong. The price of the procedure was over double what I was quoted. Also, I was told that another procedure I was interested in was not "done" there..really weird vibes.
Renee LaRose: Recently my friend asked me if I would recommend Dr. Ellen and her staff for a breast reduction (I had mine in 2018). I recalled that I had not sent a review or a note to the office thanking them for EVERYTHING!! From the minute you walk into the office, it runs like a machine. You are greeted, given information, pictures taken, process reviewed, meet the PA and the Doctor. They take care of insurance issues...it was a place like no other. My surgery was perfect - I have perfect breasts, very little scaring and not much pain overall. I am glad I chose to go to the surgical center- they were fantastic ! I am so sorry I did not write this sooner and my only regret is that I did not go to Dr. Ellen sooner in my life !!!! Thank you so so much.

emily yaldo: i came to dr.janetzke to remove the silicone in my lips. she assured me she could do the surgery and that i would be happy with the results. she seemed confident that she knew what was was doing in this specialized surgery but come to find out....she was not experienced in this surgery what so ever. it makes me feel like she just acted like she could do it just so she can get they money. it’s been 2 and a half years that i had the procedure with her and now i had to get it for a second time with a different doctor. When i told my current doctor i had the removal before he straight up said “it doesn’t look like you’ve had the surgery before.” not to mention when i got the surgery done with her people would look at me and say “you look exactly the same what did she do?” it disappoints me that people will do anything just for a check. do your research before having any procedure done.

Kim, Dr. Ellen's PA, is nothing short of amazing. She is so kind, took all the time needed to answer my questions and made sure I was feeling comfortable about the procedure I was needing. Sharon, who handles the insurance, was wonderful. She made sure I was informed the entire way. I was very nervous leading up to the procedure. No one at Dr. Ellen's ever made me feel as though I was bothering them with questions or wasting their time.I had my surgery two weeks ago. I chose Beaumont Royal Oak (which was an amazing choice - they are fantastic as well). The entire staff at Dr. Ellen's continue to exceed any expectations I had. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Ellen for any plastic or reconstructive surgery needs. You will not be disappointed. Definitely do your own research but don't be surprised if you end up right back at Dr. Ellen's office. This type of surgery can be very scary (especially for someone such as myself having never had any plastic or reconstructive surgery prior). The staff will make sure you are well taken care of.
