Juan Jose Vallejo: I didn't like the place, way to dark and music too loud. The live performance was lame. I felt sorry by the singer about how bad was she.The neckline of the server at the bar was way revealing. I was there with my date and made me feel uncomfortable. They need more training about how to make a simple Gin&Tonic and less about how to make tips showing the breast.We were surprised how deserted was the place on a Friday night. This place is lame as funch. I do not recommend it at all. I'm never going back. It didn't worth paying the $5 entrance fee. Great date, worst bar ever.

They have new owners and a new DJ, the bar is pretty empty for a Saturday and they were paying old Motown music l, as though we were 65!! My girls and I use to come here for the old throw back club music, it’s definitely not like that anymore. They really need to read the room and get a better DJ.

We were there last night, and at 11:00 there were 7 customers. Also, the air conditioning was blasting out. The staff was great, and the DJ was playing great music. There just wasn't anybody there and it was too cold.

Dan M: Great spot! Been here a bunch of times I actually can't believe I didn't rate it before! This has been a great spot for many years we've been here with just me and another person and a large party. The staff and ownership always seems to accommodate. It doesn't seem to be super busy until later hours in the night but it does get pretty packed so I would say try to get there earlier than later if you want a good spot especially if there's any events in the area. Like I said been here several times and will continue to go keep up the good work.

Also it is important for people to know that patrons will offer you "bumps" in the restrooms. Take that info as you may.

They could tell you that my ID was real by the way… I’m not going to say what even ended up happening to me that night.

Chanel C: False advertising, terrible management and very unprofessional. I’ve been to this location numerous amount of times where the flyer promotions does not match what the staff says. I went to get in free before 11 as the flyer stated, the bouncer tells me it’s $20 at 10:40, i pull up the promoter’s Instagram to show them and surprisingly he deleted the post. But my friend had the screenshot, the staff still refused to honor the post and gave us terrible attitude and refused. All this was because of a special guest (Latto), that never actually came to this event. Would not be returning here again, wouldn’t recommend given this place your money. Drinks are overpriced as well.

I've promoted parties there, had a hs reunion there, etc etc. . .never not once have I ever been so disrespected so blatantly on a day that didn't even matter. Spent majority of the afternoon there celebrating a bday with friends only to find out they no longer offer food. After a couple friends left and came back from getting food I and 2 young ladies go down and walk to the next restaurant over to grab pizza right quick. Once in line for pizza the bouncer at the door says that we have to pay 20 to get back in. Why didn't you say that while I was walking out. I wouldn't have left. He then proceeds to tell me the owner saw me leave saw what I had on, he wants to attract a whiter crowd and that he told him to charge me 20. It was 90 degrees, I had on shorts and designer tee. I confronted the owner and his only excuse was he can change the the door whenever he wants. (It was 719 pm, I had been there since 3) my group had spent well over a few hundred dollars and I the owner eventually let me in once I started to call him out on his bull. Never again will I goto that establishment and I encourage anybody else to stay away. Oh here's the bouncer that fed into the BS after the fact (not the real one who told me the truth the one who tried to enforce the bs the owner set forth)

The security guard and bartenders were very kind & friendly and the atmosphere was laidback. I was there again around the 3rd of December and once again had another awesome time. This is definitely a go-to spot for me & my traveling companions.

Meshellaz: Nice environment for 40 crowd. It could use a pool table or darts. The crowd does get younger as the night goes on but all in all we had a good time with our parents from outta town. The bartender was very attentive and drinks were strong! The DJ did a good job of mixing the music for the different ages.

The food is delicious I highly recommend the truffle fries. This is definitely a place I will continue to party and enjoy myself at. If you haven’t been here yet you’re missing out! R&B Tuesdays are highly recommended as well. Free entry before 11!

denise nicole: Friday May 12th was my birthday I had a reservations for the Friday night dinner party from 6 to 10 my reservation was at 7:45 my party and i arrived at 7:20 to find the doors locked and no one at the venue try to locate someone to talk to spoke to someone via text only to find out that the dinner party was cancelled without my knowledge therefore leaving my dinner and birthday ruined it's made me very upset I started crying someone dropped the ball they told me that they sent out emails stating this cancellation they lied I went through emails couldn't find one cancellation look through my spam not there I text on Instagram to ask them could I bring cupcakes in for my reservation No One reach back out to me if the dinner party was canceled someone should have said something very very unprofessional they apologized and said they will compensate me at 10 it was eight by then and we all were starving I will never return to this venue definitely going to tell my friends about not going to this venue ever!!

Upon being seated even though we had a booth reservation they told us we could not have a booth because it was only 3 of us …. It was people there with less than that AT A BOOTH. They were yt of course so we were placed at a filthy bar I looked and noticed all the glasses were filthy they had dirty food plates near other clean things that was just so unsanitary to me. I didn’t order food went to the bathroom and saw DEAD ROACHES in the stalls ! And on the bathroom counters . I got my friend and told her we had to leave . I am partially OCD and I can’t stand to be uncomfortable then bugs I just kept imagining all the food the bugs was mixed up in smh YUCK

I went the entire night with literally no service. We never had anyone take our drink orders and it took roughly 15-25 min to get drinks when we finally decided we just have to go to the bar if we were going to drink. The lady who sat us down, literally never came back, walked by us over and over and never heard from her again as she helped literally every booth around us, we eventually had to find someone who working so we could at least get the champagne and cake that was part of the package, we never had anyone ask us about food so I have no idea how the food taste. The place looks nice but my lady was very displeased with her birthday package. As was I, I'll chalk it up to a "busy night". We made the most out of what we had, but I would probably look into other locations in regards to birthday parties. At least that was my experience.

The gentleman sweeping the rugs outside said, "at 12:00." He then said he wasn't sure if we would even get a seat because it's standing room only. I explained we had reservations, he said, "ohhh."Upon entry, our purses were checked and we were wanded, which was fine.Our "reservations" that we paid $10 a person for landed us a seat at the bar. The bar was filthy. The QR code in the pastic holder was also dirty. There was stuff all over the floor behind the bar (I understand it gets busy as the evening goes on, but everyone had just arrived, it was clearly from the night before).We had a very vague explanation of what the $39 brunch was about. So we asked again. She explaned it was $39 a person and we would share the bottle of champagne that came with it. This was confusing, what if there were two of us? Or four?We finally ordered, when the bartender made our mimosas, the fruit holder was gross, didn't look like it had been changed over or cleaned from the previous night. The glass shield was also filfy.We watched girls literally get ready, doing hair, putting make-up on, eyelashes, etc. on the floor with the mirrors surrounding the DJ.It's clear the only employee that arrives before they open to get ready or clean the place is the guy outside sweeping the rug.We ordered mimosas, shrimp and grits, and french toast. It was okay.The bartendar was nice and did her job well. She would receive 5 stars. The place, not so much. It has so much potential though.

The drinks on R&B Tuesday are a bit overpriced for the amount of liquor that they give you. But it’s still a nice experience. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a good time!

My bartender forgot he was my bartender! What a joke. The Yelp review also stated that security attacked these people physically that were just trying to get their card back . Sad. The music is good but I won't tolerate this type of low class disrespect from anyone.I gave the bartender my card to open a tab. Later, I tried to close the tab and he told me he lost my card. I told him multiple times it was in the other register and he didn't listen. He told me the other bar tender had it. She did not. He lied and said he already closed me out. I told him, no he did not, that i never signed anything! After making me go through this song and dance, wondering where my card was for at least 30 minutes HE FINALLY LOOKED IN THE DRAWER I TOLD HIM 3 TIMES TO LOOK INTO and found my card. they refused to offer me any discount for the bs i had to deal with. I will never come back here.. I would appreciate someone in management reaching out about this matter

Realtalk 4eva: I went to this bar the Thursday before New Years of 2022 and gotta say, music was good and the DJ's - I think were all women! Shout out to this place for keepin my sister's in business and for the music on point. I had a black bartender who was super nice and on point, and then we had a bartender, white girl who had an attitude, and was slammin those drinks down to you on the other side of the entrance. It was cold, but I bet when the weather gets better all areas of the bar will be open. They had no cover charge, music was on point, they also had finger food at the front door, maybe because of holiday, but with no cover, it was lit! The only draw back for me was the drive because I live in A2. I found most of the staff, including Security to be friendly. I have only been here once and this was it!

It was very hot inside the venue and on the patio and my husband actually paid $41 for two long islands (in 10 Oz plastic cups... no glasses!) That was absolutely ridiculous and if he had told me, I would've sent it back. The bathrooms were outdated and were not clean! As hit as it was, the door man or promoter had the nerve to say, "aint no in and out" like my grandma used to, as if we were teenagers... which is who this venue if for on Wednesday nights! I will not be returning.

Lexee Brown: We sat at the bar and we were given a dirty paper menu that was very limited with options. After ordering we were then told we need to pay our bill before receiving our food and before finished being serviced. This should be shared prior to sitting at the bar. The pizza was dry and did not have much sauce. I noticed others sitting at the bar and tables were given full laminated menus. The staff stood in front of us and looked out onto the dining area and stated they didn’t want to serve certain tables and stated they wished certain customers would leave. I wouldn’t recommend or return to this establishment.

I was confused because the sign says customers can use the restroom but random people cannot. I was a customer? And to make it even more odd, the woman in the front let a white man who was not a customer use the restroom.I’m not sure what the woman in the front’s name was. She was an ugly black woman who was kind of short and had a nappy wig on. She was going hard for that $10 an hour.

Josh Culver: I recently visited Niki’s Pizza in Detroit and although the pizza itself was really good, I have to give it a two-star review due to several disappointing experiences during my visit.Firstly, upon arriving at the restaurant, my companions and I waited for a good five minutes in front of the front of house staff before they even acknowledged our presence. It was quite frustrating and made us feel unwelcome from the start. The lack of attention to customers at the entrance left a negative first impression.Additionally, we were informed that the restaurant had a limited menu that night. However, as we glanced around the dining area, we noticed numerous other tables happily ordering items from the regular menu. This inconsistency left us feeling confused and somewhat misled. It seemed unfair that some customers were able to enjoy the full menu while we were restricted to a limited selection.Another disappointing aspect of our visit was the payment process. We were asked to settle our bill before the food even arrived, which felt quite unusual. To add to our surprise, when we received our bills, an 18% tip had been automatically added without our consent or knowledge. This practice felt presumptuous and undermined our ability to determine an appropriate tip based on the quality of service we received.Moreover, the service was quite slow. It took a staggering 30 minutes before we even received our beverages. This lengthy wait time was frustrating, especially considering that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. Furthermore, while sipping on our drinks, we noticed black specks of something floating in one of the beers. This was extremely off-putting and raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the establishment.In conclusion, despite the delicious pizza that we enjoyed, the overall experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. The lack of attention from the staff upon arrival, the inconsistency in menu availability, the peculiar payment process, and the slow service combined with the presence of foreign objects in our drinks diminished our enjoyment of the meal. Piotr: Was visiting Detroit for the weekend and was told to try the deep dish pizza. I chose Niki's randomly. The pizza was really good BUT the service was awful. The girl's name was Ashley and she was treating us poorly. Ashley - drop the attitude, if you don't like your job, go somewhere else, you are not a tree. Customer service job doesn't seem like your forte. If I wanted that kind of experience I would have gone to Karen's instead.

Chami Cornish: Rude bouncers letting in their friends over people waiting in line. You basically pay $20 cover to get served with attitude. Many other places you can go in Detroit where they actually care for customer service. Avoid this place!

Sleepy H: It looks cool for the camera but if you keep a clean home this place is a nightmare. I got there at 9 (they basically just opened) and the floor was uncomfortable to walk on due to how sticky it was, you can't even dance on it without your sandals coming off your feet. I was also mad eyeing the drink rings. I was like the only person with a drink so far so I knew they didn't clean well from the last night. I did not want to touch anything it was just so sticky and gross.

Alex Young: Very cool vibe. Love all the artwork and the custom arcade machines with insane games on them. I played some game where I was flying a plane and dropping bundles of drugs to boats in the Detroit river. Cocktails are pretty expensive but it's a really fun place that deserves to be experienced at least once.

My Reviews: Love Deluxx Fluxx, the aesthetic and arcade vibe are outstanding. My complaint is that the music lately has become less and less diverse. I feel like a better variety of music will keep more people coming. Also during peak hours its nearly impossible to get a drink.

Jaylo Lamb: This is a really great bar/club! Great music! The bartenders are really friendly! I’ve notice they do Charge differently I paid $15 and some change for two shots and then I got the same two shots and paid $35 I’ve tried calling but never get an answer.The biggest downfall of this place is one of the security guards. He’s just very rude and not friendly at all it seems he lets his job title really go to his head he’s usually the one checking the IDs and always has a smart a** comment. The other guards are so respectful but I dread interacting with him when I go here he makes people uncomfortable.

Khayyam “Yam” Wilson: Hands down a great go to with friends. Definitely recommend to arrive early as this place fills up very quickly. Cover charge is usually 10 bucks and optional coat check is $3, they do accept cash and cards. They have pretty decent drinks despite the more pricey cost, they offer arcade games as well as live DJs, and the thing that really sets them apart from the rest of the bars downtown is their neon section. Overall very cool, very different, and very much a vibe.

Chandler Micallef: Came here for my birthday. Drinks were strong. The DJ playing that night was pretty good, but I was pretty disappointed with the arcade area. Both pinball machines were out of order and the buttons on the working games were so sticky u couldn’t play. Air hockey felt like it was covered in syrup. There was a coat check sign that they taped on the wall, then told my friend it was only for the winter. Not sure if I would return.
