He knew what was wrong with my refrigerator almost immediately and made every effort to locate the part for the repair. The part is no longer available, so my fridge cannot be repaired. Of course, I'm sad, however I appreciated that he provided suggestions on what I can consider when purchasing a new refrigerator. I appreciate great customer service. ** Follow up - I was able to get another repair person to repair my fridge (he had the parts in his truck) because after ordering a fridge from HD, I received a call from HD a day before delivery saying it would be November before I received a new fridge, so my husband was able to reach another repair man (also Black-owned, which is wonderful) to come out and he was able to get the fridge fixed. Saved us several thousands dollars because we don't need another fridge. 17 years old and still going.. Tamisha Pride: I purchased a washing machine years ago from this business it was a front load ...after 7 months the lock went bad and i had to replace...he came out abd tried to charge me 250 to fix...went on you tube and fixed myselfA few laters he moved to another location and i wasnt aware that this was the same business. I spent 530 on washer and dryer..once again the washer didnt last a year. Some one was supposed to come out and never came ...a representative called me and said they were incarcerated and could not come. This washer didnt last a year ...id never spend another dime in there...they are unprofessional.... They were smoking cigarettes inside the store. Dont purchase an appliance from this guy he is a crook.

I needed a repair on a refrigerator and was told “I cleared out the drain line and defrosted system on the refrigerator”. I called him the next day and said it’s still leaking. He told me to wait a couple of day. I said ok. I still continued to have issues. He stopped answering his phone and refused to go back to check on him repair or to refund me my money $130. Very unprofessional especially since I was a regular customer.

Gigii: Whn I began doing cakes I used a JCPenney "hand" mixer whn thgs were of quality, thz wz in the late 70's! Id heard about KITCHENAID Mixers bt could not yet afford 1. I burned thru 6 Penney mixers, bt they worked well for the 1st 5-6yrs! Whn I finally got my 1st KITCHENAIDE with the arms I wz so proud of it! I purchased frm Kitchen Glamour! No one told me that aftr using u may need to hv it adjusted IF the paddle seems to scrape the sides or bottom & the Vinyl on the beaters pill off. Now in the manual they tell u! I took it to McNichols Electric it wasnt far frm me. Of course theres never any need to repair these mixers they last for decades & iv purchased 6, 2 extras over time, yrs later, the othrs gifted to my son & grandkids! Bt they do need maintenance every 3 yrs especially if u use it as much as I did cranking out cakes making Buttercrm Icing! Making Icing puts more use on a mixer than juz Baking! It began makingthz 'straining' noise aftr 5 yrs. McNichols Electric educated me it wz the "Powdered Sugar" or Flour that by air builds up over time & gets into the lil vents so u must hv it cleaned! In 1983-84 it wz about $30-$35. I took othr sm. Appliances there & found great quality ReConditioned Toaster, Fryers etc. I'll miss thm....Where are we to get Service now?! There's NO PLACE Im aware of, if so please add it to the reviews! Im still cranking thm out bt in a slightly different way producing "lil Future Bakers & Decorators" & an occasional Sculptured CAKE! Uv got to pass it on & in my case 1 of my granddaughters is picking up the torch & making it her own!! I thk I'll get 2 more out my bunch, if only as a hobby! Its a shame McNichols had no 1 to pass the Skill on.
