He was very caring and easy to receive with a great personality. He and my dad hit it off great and my dad liked him right away. After he cared for my dad I thanked him and he thanked me for allowing him to care for our loved one. I’ve scheduled another day with them and requested Quintin again. I think Visiting Angels are a perfect fit for my family’s needs and recommend them highly if you’re looking for someone who will care for your loved ones as you would.

Peggy Stewart: When I contacted Visiting Angels, my mother had been diagnosed with beginning dementia. I realized she had a problem but had no idea what it was until I was toldby her physician. The director at Visiting Angels, Joyce Stallings, paired me with a woman who became me and Mom's angel. She assisted me in helping with all of my mother's daily needs. Sometimes people with dementia will not bathe and that was one of the problems we encountered. The caregiver brought my mother food with her own money, took her out on daily excursions and in general became my right hand incaring for Mom. Eventually, we had to move Mom into my home, and the caregiverwas there with us until my mother recently departed this life. Without the assistance of this caregiver, I would not have been able to give mom the last peaceful, days she deserved.

I work in population health management and did not get adequate assistance when trying to advocate for my patients and doctors. I have been lied to by office staff, no calls back from RN and social worker about the needs of my patients and how to improve the living situation of the patient while she was still receiving services through this HHC. This company will never get a referral from me for any patient!

Natacha René (Tacha): Yesterday, I spoke extensively with Ronda regarding an immediate need for care for my mom. I painstakingly described our situation, all contingencies and caveats concerning potential replacement and/or supplementary care for my mom's primary caregiver (who was unexpectedly hospitalized). Ronda was seemingly understanding and receptive to my situation and scheduled a home assessment for today at 2 PM. We began today by corresponding via an email exchange during which I informed her that my mom's primary caregiver would, in fact, be back in commission sooner than anticipated. Therefore, we would require supplementary assistance vice full time care.Ronda never bothered to respond my email, but instead another woman at the agency, Barb, called to inform that they would not be taking my mom on as a client. The first excuse provided was that their potential caregiver was "upset" because she would not have a solid week of work scheduled (never promised, mind you, but mentioned on the condition of the availability or limitations of my mom's primary caregiver). When pressed further, Barb then switched to the excuse of "we're really short staffed right now" (really?). Finally, Barb just settled on the vague "scheduling" as the reason to dishonor their prior commitment and quickly extricated herself from the conversation.This entire episode has been extremely disappointing, as everything I relayed to Ronda in my email was exactly what we previously discussed ad nauseam, over the phone, concerning my mom’s care, her primary caregiver’s situation and scheduling going forward. I understand the professional challenges in this difficult field. However, I was completely transparent from the start. Still, they dumped my mom like a sack of rubbish. No attempt to try an work something out, accommodate my mom's needs or refer me to another agency better equipped to handle alternating weekend coverage. My experience with Comfort Care Home Care has been a complete waste of time and total letdown.

Mary Jo Allen: Barb always went over and above with patience and grace in making sure my mother in law was taken care of and shifts were covered. With just one exception, all the caregivers were kind and attentive.

Beth Alltop: As a customer engaging care for my dad, I experienced good care from the caregivers, who were wonderful. But the company kept changing the schedule almost daily but never told me. Some days one person would be there, and then another not, or someone else would show up. As a person with a very elderly parent, who doesn’t tolerate change well, I would have liked to know who was going to be with my dad on a given day. Way too much drama and very poor communication. Don’t engage this company for anyone you love.

I am a retired RN and had seen my own parents through their final days and felt able to cope....but these caregivers were a godsend. As I gradually expanded the hours of care per week then per day they were flexible, dependable but most importantly caring and very professional. Every one of them. I have nothing but praise for everyone I encountered at this agency. They brought peace of mind to the patient, her son and all of us caretakers.

I’m convinced they don’t do real background checks they don’t get to know their employees they just throw them out in the field, NO training jus give you and address and you’re on your own. Them when have a day off it’s not really hour day off because they want you to basically clear your schedule just Incase they need you and will have a big issue with you if u don’t pick up your phone on YOUR day off🤔,,!They don’t check to see if your certified in ANYTHING just want people to stand in where they don’t want to, no cpr, no HHA, no license they jus let Anybody work. It’s pretty sad because people are really trusting them with their loved ones.Most unorganized place I’ve ever came in contact with , if I could give Negative stars I wouldAnd Seeing the response that the OWNER lef in response to a dissatisfied potential client shows just how unprofessional they are,,,,ATTENDANT CARE is a much better facility in my opinion.
