When I come to have my Honda CRV serviced I look for Cliff Howard, he is great!! He is always friendly and clearly explains whats going on with my car and what needs to be done next to keep it running in tip top condition.They are always accomodating to my schedule and my needs. The staff is great!! I highly recomend this deslership.

Fahad Noor: I sold my 2014 Honda Accord EX-L, and I was in the market for a new vehicle. My sales consultant was Adam. And let me tell you, words cannot justify how amazing Adam has been from his character to his great customer service. I am a very specific detailed person when it comes down to vehicles. I wanted a River Canyon blue EX-L with BSI. Mind you due to supply chain issues, most of the newer Accords come without the BSI feature. Adam looked pretty much all over Michigan and any available dealerships for the specific Accord I was requesting. Honda was not even taking build orders at the time either. Finally after some time, Adam was able to find a Accord EX-L in Texas where it was still getting built, I was able to reserve it and waited almost 2 months for the vehicle, (3 months total without a car) Adam did mention the waiting time and kept me informed about it on a regular basis. It was not easy finding that EX-L with that specific color way with the BSI feature. Adam handled all the paperwork and anything else that was required from me. They were able to apply all the incentives provided from Honda to my deal. Today I picked up the vehicle, the business manager I believe his name was Andy, was very upfront with things and one thing I'll tell you which is rare in dealerships, they were both very, very HONEST! Everyone knows the purpose of a dealership is to make money but what dealerships sometimes forget is they can be honest with people and still make money. Well this dealership went above and beyond for me and Adam was a great person to work with. Andy was very upfront and did not hide anything from hidden fees (which there were none) to the warranties. Also another thing is when it comes down to paperwork, it's very easy to be confused and get lost. Other dealership will easily add charges and say "nothing to worry about", not this dealership. They carry their business with integrity at least this is what I experienced both from Adam and Andy. I can very confidently say I would recommend this Honda dealership to anyone that wants to purchase a new vehicle without the hassle, without the manipulation, without the confusion, with ease and with integrity, then this dealership is for you ! Adam did really go above and beyond for me. He didn't have to but he did and that speaks volume. As I said I'm very detailed when it comes down to vehicles, and I'm very picky. Dealing with me is a bit challenging because I don't just say "yes" and walk away. If Adam can help me, he absolutely definitely can help you. When you go in ask for Adam. He will take care of you. In the early morning hours I inquired online about purchasing a vehicle. From the inquiry to the approval was a seemingless process that took place within a few hours. Lexi was wonderful. It's been a month and still dangling and hitting most slope. I called in to ask about it, they told me to just come in at 8 am no need for appointment. I went in to get it fixed and they said to make appointment. I will be going in again on Tuesday to get it checked.Received a call from pure Honda regarding the issue, and was told the undercarriage issue will taken care of along with seat stains without issues as they should have been already taken care of, again certified vehicle.Brought it back, they are now charging me to get it checked.I will post pictures of mileage, date of purchase and the dangling undercarriage.

I refuse to purchase a new vehicle when the dealership adds $500 to the MSRP and another $1,689 for polysteel paint protection and window etching. They would not sell the vehicle without the additional charges. Went to another dealer and guess what? No upcharge to MSRP or mandatory add ons! Ended up getting the optional paint & interior protection, but it was only $499, not $849. Shop around people!

Adam Ross: On my 5th year of paying for my 2019 Honda Cr-V, that I purchased brand new with zero miles. I recently went to have it serviced and techs lied about checking my air filter and cabin filter. The service center was supposed to change if needed. Took it to my mechanic immediately after service at dealership and my mechanic pulled both filters out and both filters was as black as oil. Disgusted by the broken integrity of the company and I originally planned to be a life long customer. Not anymore. People be careful when dealing with the service center. Make sure they are doing the job in which you pay for and expect of them. Very disappointed.

John Morgan: On the first day of a week long road trip on Interstate 90 in NY the air conditioner in my 2019 Insight failed. Temperature was already in the 90’s. Based on our expected next stop near Detroit I started calling dealers. I was lucky to reach Sal Qaqish at Southgate Honda. Sal immediately set up an appointment for the next afternoon. Plus he identified an extended warrantee that existed for my A/C condenser. I took the car in at 12:30 and it was ready at 3:30, new condenser and all! Cost to me - $0. Thank you Sal and Southgate mechanics. John Morgan, North Andover, MA.

Decided to go to dearborn they apologized for my experience at a location that wasnt even their fault and really took care of me with respect. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean you can talk to me however and then hang up on me then as I try calling back ignore my calls so unprofessional. No worries took my business elsewhere and now planing on purchasing a new vehicle at the dearborn location.

T M: Calling by phone to the service department is a 50/50 chance they'll answer, let alone call you back to schedule anything. Don't even attempt to schedule online, it's a waste of time. I drove 20+ miles to my former dealership so i wouldn't have to wait another 2+ weeks to hear back from this place, which is less than a mile down the road from where i live.

David Rand: In a time when most are gouging, this was the only Honda dealer in the area that would sell at MSRP. When a hard to find Civic Si became available, I was offered the car and they stuck to their commitment. My salesperson, Michael Smith, was outstanding and made what is usually a contentious process painless. Best dealer experience I've ever had.Recently had my first service experience, which was also great. They arranged for a ride home, and even offered to pick me up when the service was completed. First rate treatment.

A few years ago when I tried adding a Honda care extended warranty at a different dealer, they said I couldn’t do it and tried adding an aftermarket warranty instead. I came to Troy Honda and they did it within 10 minutes for me.Recently tried shopping for a 23 CR-V, 3 other greedy Honda dealers would only let you order if you added a wheel and window protection package for $2000 to $3000 which is an absolute joke.Troy Honda let me place my order for MSRP without any extra required packages.

You could probably wait twice as long as they told you without getting anything!I ordered a Civic from them because their silver sale consultant told me the estimated waiting time would be around three months. After three months, I called them, and the seller told me the delivery was delayed for a month. After waiting for a month, I called them again, and the seller said it was delayed again for several weeks. In the following two months, I kept calling them, and every time they guaranteed me that the car would be delivered in the next few days, but on the "delivery date" they mentioned, I called them, and they told me the delivery was delayed again. It happened several times. In the sixth month from the date I ordered the car, the seller called me and said the car had an incident during delivery and they could not deliver it. I asked him whether they have any solution for this because he told me the waiting time was three months, and I waited six months without getting anything. He said the car had an incident during delivery, and it's not their business to take care of it, and they won't do anything because they are only responsible for selling the car.

Went to finilize a deal for a used car from this dealership added to my insurance I get there to give it a test drive to make sure they fixed what was wrong with it the car pulled so bad it was hard to keep it on the road. This was after the sales manager assured everything was good and ready to go. This was the second time I made the 2 and a half hour drive from battle creek. The fact they would give me a car in that condition after assuring me everything was ok is mind blowing and to me unacceptable. Needless to say another trip wasted to this dealership. Brian Imerman: I took my 73 year old mother's 2011 honda accord in for service where she has been taking it since she bought it in 2014. Needed brakes 2 months ago when she took it in, but they sent her away telling her "it's fine". The same guy I spoke to on the phone, who checked me in, said to me 3 separate times when checking on my vehicle, " are you picking up?"!! Like he didn't even register that I'd been there for 3 hours already!! When I got the car back, the service advisor was too busy, the car smelled of oil, and after driving it home I smelled burnt transmission fluid, indicating then mechanic did not properly clean it off.. oh btw., it needed brakes all around! And they sent her away 2 months ago!

We even drove all the way from the upper peninsula to purchase a car from this dealer. Recently,my wife was driving from the upper peninsula to downstate. The car started breaking automatically. She called The dealership to find out what to do. This occurred in the middle of the snowstorm. The first person that she spoke to told her to turn off the climate control and that would solve the problem. Yes, the climate control. The second person who was the service manager for Honda told her to drive to the nearest dealership. The nearest dealership is over 250 miles away. Then this person told my wife that she did not have time to deal with this problem. And she put my wife on hold for 21 minutes. Now during this time, my wife is on the side of the road in a blowing snowstorm.This is not the kind of service I would expect from any dealership.I guess I shouldn’t expect service after they get my money.

Jim Riehl Honda Service has been my "go to" service center for better than 10 years caring for both of my Honda vehicles, they have not disappointed once. I am comfortable with the service they provided me and I would recommend to friends and family.

During a recent visit to Michigan, our brand new (less than 5,000 miles) Ridgeline experienced an issue with a failure to a component in the rear differential. The repair was completed by 10:30 am with a brand new rear diff shipped from California and we arrived home safely without issue.
