The Detroit Bus Company: what do users think?
anthony cat: The owner is a great ambitious man who one day dreams of starting his own car company. His videos are fantastic and his knowledge and drive is encouraging
Shawntai Brown: We were looking for a bus to take our students on an outing during the busy spring field trip season. It's hard to get a bus and especially hard to get a bus for a reasonable price that doesn't eat up the entire budget for the trip. Detroit Bus Company not only secured us a bus, but they beat out many of the competitors on the cost. We were able to dedicate more dollars to students experiences on the trip that otherwise would have gone to transportation. DBC had excellent communication the days leading up to and on the day of the field trip so I could be at ease with transportation. Their driver, John, was so friendly and accommodating. Finally, the kids "ooed & awed" when they saw the beautiful street art on the exterior of the bus. We will for sure book them in the future!
Jason K: Local Business!
Jordan Piwowar: I found out about Detroit Bus Company when I was googling transportation in Detroit. I loved the idea of having unique and colorful buses rather than a boring limo/party bus. We ended up getting two buses, a large bus for wedding guests and a medium sized bus for the wedding party. The drivers were so sweet and helped in anyway they could to make our day run smoothly. My guests and wedding party talked about how cool our buses were compared to other weddings in Detroit that day. They also do rentals for all sort of events and have city tours and have a their ride for a ride program where you can pay for someone else's ride that may not be able to afford safe and reliable transportation. Overall, they are a great company, that is unique, and gives back to their community. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!(Photos done by Breanne Rochelle Photography)
Melissa Grimes: This was our second tour with The Detroit Bus Company. I would highly recommend them! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating for any group. We have done the Drunks of Antiquity tour twice and both times were great. Great to see the history but also fun on the bus with good music and the opportunity to bring coolers, etc. Great times!!
Quinton Thornton: Great team, knowledgeable about the area, just darn fun!
Rita Spiller: I and some friends went on the the Merry & Bright Detroit Holiday Lights Tour on Sat. evening and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour guide Kelly and the bus operator were friendly and engaging making it a fun filled tour. We made 5 stops, got off and marveled at the lights and decorations or partook in a hot drink and music!!! Well worth the time and money. Highly recommend it
Dana KM: I've done 2 different tours with Detroit Bus Company and both were great. My most recent experience was the Holiday Lights tour and I'm so glad I did it. I brought along my mother and aunt-- both are fairly spry 70-something gals-- as an early Christmas gift and it was great. We got to see parts of the city that we wouldn't have otherwise, we felt well taken care of by our tour guide and our driver, and we all felt that little glow of knowing that our fun night meant some local kiddos would have safe transportation to their after-school activities. It's just a no-brainer: you get to do something cool and you get to do some good, all at the same time. Win-win.
Rae Smith: Incredibly friendly and professional staff and management
Keeli Winquist: DBC provided a shuttle for my wedding guests & I heard great feedback from them. The driver was very easy to work with & flexible towards the end of the night when needed... which was much appreciated! The bus was clean and in good condition & had a rad paint job that made it easy for guests to identify when leaving the hotel. I would highly recommend using them!
Louisa Howard: We absolutely loved our experience with DBC! We used them for all events for our wedding. Mike was amazing to work with to organize everything and so professional. Our drivers were timely and incredibly flexible. We cannot thank them enough!
Kathryn Frenchi: Working with the Detroit Bus Company to provide shuttle service for our wedding was a great experience from start to finish. From excellent and prompt customer service, working with me to determine the best schedule, great communication, on time service on the day of and a memorable experience for our guests, I would recommend them for any event you need transportation for!
grace johnson: DBC provided transportation for my bridal party and us to our first look/photos and shuttled all of our out-of-town guests and bridal party from MotorCity Hotel to Masonic Temple (ceremony) and back (reception). The price was amazing compared to other limo/transport companies, they advised us when we were making our day-of timeline, and the bus made for really awesome photos!! Made it very easy to book and communicated well. Remained perfect to the schedule with no hiccups. The bus was very clean. Lisa (driver) was friendly, fun, and a great person!
Amy Daly-Donovan: We used DBC to shuttle a group of meeting attendees back and forth from our hotel to an evening event in downtown Detroit. Scheduling (which was kinda last minute) was easy and seamless and Mike was friendly and helpful along the way! Our driver John was prompt and courteous and our folks loved the painted bus and appreciated the good work the company does for Detroit kids. Next time I'm in Detroit I'm booking a tour! Highly recommend.
Holly Licata: What an amazing experience we had with The Detroit Bus Company!!! They were our shuttle service this past weekend for our wedding at The Roostertail. Mike our driver, as well as Mike our contact at the company were top notch!! They were able to switch up stops on the fly, as well as navigate the city during a crazy busy Saturday night in Detroit! Mike keep me updated throughout on times and tie ups with traffic! Everyone was shuttled in time for the wedding and everyone made it back to their hotels with no problem! Super sweet, super accommodating and really enhanced the whole experience! Thank you!!
Ellen Kelley: Great information about Detroit and great knowledgeable guides. I will be taking another tour soon.
Lindsay Butterfield: We used Detroit Bus Company for our wedding day transportation for both our guests and for the bridal party. We had such an amazing experience with them! They are very easy to work with and both of our drivers were great day of. Definitely would recommend!
Steven Holden: We rented a bus for our wedding day and with their help in planning the stops they made sure we were on time every part of the way. I had a great line of communication with the driver Mike, who was also flexible when necessary. If you want to have a blast with a side of nostalgia from riding a school bus like you used to, this is the way to go. Also check out the ‘drunks of antiquity’ tour through this same company. I’ve done that in the past with my friends and it’s also a 5-star detroit experience
Debbie Sanders: Ohmygosh how I love these people! What a great team of service-oriented and mission-minded people! I have not had the pleasure of one of their fun bus trips yet, but I did recently book four of their buses for last-minute transportation needs, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend this organization and this team to anyone without hesitation! And every time you use them, you are helping students in critical Detroit areas get much-needed transportation help! You can feel good about that :)
Jessica Boyd: We used The Detroit Bus Company as our shuttle for our wedding in September. Mike was super helpful throughout the whole booking process and made it very easy and completely stress-free! Tom, our driver, was great! He was on-time and everyone got a kick out out of the painted bus! It was such a fun and unique thing to have as a part of our wedding, we absolutely loved it!
Colleen Crawley: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe used DBC to shuttle the bridal party and our out of town guests for my daughter’s wedding. Fantastic service, very friendly driver and we loved supporting this local organization! Bus was clean and comfortable. Kudos to Mike who helped us with booking and to Mike our driver.

Step On Bus Tours: what do users think?
Karen Kelley: The owner of Flaming Grill Restaurant, on Mound Road in Sterling Heights, is very good at making you feel really comfortable while you are dining at one of his tables. The Liver and Onions was delicious! I asked for grilled onions, and they were actually grilled, not steamed. We will be back.
Charelle Stamp: Not able to travel yet but looking forward to it again
Bill Williams: Taken 4 trips and bus drivers were knowledgeable when locating the stops and pick up . Rose is the best . Funny and knows out of the way places . Any Garden Walks this summer?

The entire trip was wonderful and the organizer really knew what she was talking about. Plus, we had plenty of snacks on the bus. I highly recommend this company especially to families because the learning was lots of fun and effortless.

Detroit Experience Factory: what do users think?
Becky Davis: This was an excellent experience that i can tell you will be standard one day soon.
Vilda Olsen: The plan to use their services
Veronika Gawrys: I had an amazing time organizing the Wayne State Honors Student Association Fall Fundraiser with the Detroit Experience Factory—Art and Architecture Tour. The team was responsive in the process of setting up the event, and remained timely and engaging during the tour. Our student participants gained new understanding of the Detroit we call home.
Sasha: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueParticipated in two virtual events and can't wait for an in person tour! So informative and important to understand the roots of the city you live in. Thank you Detroit Experience Factory ❤
Laura Quillen: What an amazing event! I used the Detroit Experience Factory for a virtual city tour for a client event and the process from booking and hosting the event was super easy. Our tour guide, Chris, engaged the auidence throughout the tour and the use of Google Maps and imagery made it seem as if we were walking the streets of Detroit. Lots of history to share and the virtual format due to Covid restricitons was presentd very well - even to a large group of 40 viewers. Will definitely be joining this summer for an inperson walking tour!!Services:Group tours,Private tours
Scott Bills: Have no idea what this is.
Nicolás Scicolone: Exciting to see a tour & experience company helping to promote the rich history and exciting future of Detroit. Had the pleasure of taking the bus tour this week, was able to see various major Detroit neighborhoods. Would recommend to those truly interested in this unique city, bring food and water.
Sadatu Eye: GUYS! IF YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING BUT WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT DETROIT, CHECK US OUT! ONLY $15 FOR A TOUR. 🤷🏽‍♀️ NOTHING TO LOSE!
Sara Dorost: We hired tour guides from Detroit Experience Factory to give tours between our wedding ceremony and the start of cocktail hour, as we had a lot of out of town and local guests who don't know much about Detroit. Our guests absolutely loved experience and raved about the guide's humor and knowledge of the various landmarks and areas of Detroit. I would highly recommend working with Detroit Experience Factory!
Tamsin K: We took the parks tour on Saturday. Booking the tour was uncomplicated and we found our meeting point fairly easily. We really enjoyed learning about the different parks and buildings downtown. Our guide Devin was interesting and funny and he obviously really cared about Detroit. We would definitely do another tour with this company!
Brittany Bogus: Wide variety of entertaining and informative tours, not just of Downtown Detroit but also of many neighborhoods.
Ursula Adams: Few know Detroit like these people do!
Darris Alvin: Very informative
Sue Jarvis: They offer amazing tours!! I highly recommend them-the staff is awesome and so knowledgeble
Rob Houbeck: Nice location right off of Monroe. Took a 2 hour walking tour around downtown and had a good time. Highly suggest going even if you are from the area.
CTL: Limousine Rental 810743LIMO
jeremy campeau: Great tours. Knowledgeable staff.
Alan Neo: Rating the bus tour from dxf. Extremely knowledgeable tour guides, I felt like they must have a background in urban planning because they knew so much detail about every little community. Did a downtown sweep hitting some historic Detroit buildings and a stop at the shinola for the hipsters in us. Felt at times like I was getting the hard sell for Detroit, but worth it for all the interesting tidbits of Detroit lore.
Kelsey Waugh: If you want to get to know the downtown area of Detroit, and even the areas surrounding downtown, THIS is the place to go. I highly recommend going on one of their tours or even just stopping in to their welcome center to learn more!
Warphammer: If you want to know more about Detroit, want to go on a photo tour, or if you're new and need to understand what's actually so interesting about the city, DXF can take care of that for you! A great selection of free and not-free tours and expeditions to let you know what the city's all about. They helped convince me to move here!

Turner Tours: what do users think?
Toni Gordon: Turner Tours was awesome. Hutchinson@Howe will used their services again. Thanks Ms. Jackie and Frank (the driver) for getting our students to and from field trip safely...Staff@Hutchinson/Howe
RAYMOND LEYRER II: Would rather walk than ride with them after watching them drive on the roadway. Unable to keep bus in his own lane . Watched him ran about 5 people off road between lansing and grand rapids. Hourse back would be safer than riding with them
jacqueline turner: This McDonald's always get the order right & the food is always hot.
Veronica Fogle: First off this is a black owned business they're very business oriented. Mrs. Turner makes sure you are taken care of you. Her drivers are professional they make sure you're comfortable with them so that you are secure and feel good with them driving you to your destination and back. The overall experience was very welcoming and I will be using them for everything and my people will too. I love them.

Feet on the Street Tours: what do users think?
Judy M: I spent a fabulous day & 1/2 touring Detroit with Becky. We started with the murals near the Eastern Market and concluded with a fantastic Lebanese brunch in Dearborn. Others in my small group went on to tour downtown Detroit and the Canal District.Becky’s passion for Detroit is evident. She thoughtfully combined our interests with contacts that she has to really round out our experiences by sharing stories about Detroit's music and food culture. Without Becky’s insights I would not have been able to see as much of what makes Detroit such a vibrant city. I could not have asked for a better guide and I am looking forward to a return visit!
Jodie Kennedy: I did this tour with a couple of friends on a cold Saturday in November. Linda, our guide did a great job explaining about the history, neighborhood and businesses. She was cognizant of the cold and we were in and out of buildings often to stay warm. There was plenty of food and great food too! It was a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning!
Franciska Richardson: Fun tour, great food, fabulous guide ;)
Matt Bartzi: My wife and I got the VIP drink tickets for an extra $20 a ticket. We got a pit of beer at a pizza place and a dessert cocktail at the last place. Great toor just not worth the drink ticket price.
Cohen Kaufman: Went with my high school reunion attendees on a Detroit tour. It was fun and interesting. Linda is knowledgeable, very funny, and gives a balanced and thoughtful perspective to the Detroit of yesterday and today.
Brogan Partners: What an awesome experience! We took a large client group on the "Come Hungry, Leave Full" walking tour - and it did not disappoint. Linda was great in all aspects. Easy to get a hold of, had great suggestions and ideas, and was very helpful in planning. The day of the tour, she and her team were awesome. They showed up on time, had everything detailed and ready. And man - we definitely left full. Highly recommend this company and this tour.

Elite Tours: what do users think?
Emily Decker: What should have been an 8 hour drive to Washington D.C. took us 12.5 hours. Our itinerary had us arriving a couple hours earlier, therefore we were late to our event and he never seemed to care. Our driver avoided toll roads, taking us completely out of the way on very rural roads, driving 35-40 almost the whole way there. This bus is old and VERY dirty. The bathroom doesn't look like it has been cleaned in years. The seats don't have footrests, as is standard on charter buses. We also were told this bus had outlets to charge things, however he told us they didn't work after we were driving. We also did not stop at proper rest stops. He stopped at a gas station with ONE bathroom. That was supposed to be our breakfast stop and our options were gas station food.Very unsatisfied and will never ride with this company again. I do not recommend elite tours.
