Detroit Ice Rink: what do users think?
Bella Anekwe: Says it's open but it's not and opens in April for a fake beach... change your status wasted my time
Rachel Solby Park: Lovely place to do skate :)
Lisa Zook: A small outdoor ice rink in downtown Detroit. It was a great way to spend an evening! There’s a small bar (21+) off the side with large tables and Adirondack chairs, if you’d prefer to just relax and watch friends skate.
Michaiah Reynolds: Everyone was having so much fun! Such a nice night out!
Saeed Musleh: I never seen place like this
Success_Is_Key: Every time I travel to Detroit for Christmas we go downtown and go ice skating!
Joshua Phillips: I don’t like it you have to wit in such a long line and the ice skates suck
Reuben Frank: I learned the other day that this Ice rink is actually bigger than the one in NYC.

Grosse Pointe Community Ice: what do users think?
Cliff at Monergy Solutions: Great place, well maintained. Been going there for years to play hockey. Great time.
Renee Walburn: Run down rink, no nets to protect you from fly pucks, concession stand girl horrible attitude!!!Clean bathroomsGood pretzels
Lime Creek Outdoors: Worst place ever.
Steve Mouton: Great place for hockey and community
Michael Stan: Great to have this arena in our area! Learn to skate with the young Bulldogs, figure skate or play adult hockey. The arena is clean, and they are still following covid guidelines so don't expect to stand around at the end of the arena or fill your water bottle in the filtered drinking fountain. This location is very easy to get too not far away from i94, tucked in behind McDonalds.
Ethan Gradowski: Good ice. Decent heat. Cute zam girl.
Joe Mitchell: Nice little rink. Great place to practice your dangles and snipes.
Jeremy Gould: Friendly staff and well kept rink. Cleaner than many other small local rinks. They do have a snack bar and small pro shop on-site.
Doktor Detroit: Good ice, decent locker rooms.
Geoffery Smith: Great place to skate and watch my daughter play. It’s great because of the heated watch area on the side, but that gets packed quickly on practices and games. Also the snack bar is only open sometimes on games and the vending machines have expired stuff. However, in my experience that’s pretty typical.
Paige Templeton: It’s pretty good now. Nothing to write home about. There is ample space around the outside to sit and watch where it is warm.
Brian Hamlin: Much improved old barn. Beware of home cooking from the refs if you are the visiting team. : )
Julian Trevino: Ice was good. Older rink and snack bar closed (UPDATE: the snack bar is open on a semi regular basis now!)
M B: Nice
Paul: Older rink. Snack bar with drinks, chips, cookies. No protective netting around glass boards. Slippery stairs in bleachers.
Frank Sherry: Nice rink. It has gotten a lot better since the foundation bought it. The concession stand is never open.
Pa Cor: Decent rink.. not many amenities
Joe V: Staff is very accommodating
Charles Willis: Out dated
Geoff Donaldson: This rink is now the East Side Hockey (ESH) Ice Arena. The foundation has done a great job and the improvements keep coming!
Akeem Qualls: Its a cool place

Dearborn Ice Skating Center: what do users think?
Mj Langerman: Good ice and locker rooms
OMG Its Zeal: Loved this place
Brian Eickholt: Nice facility. Easy parking!
Jennifer Harris: Nice rinks
Matt Duncan: Best place in the area to get figure skates sharpened.
steven: Nice arena, 2 rinks ,1 a stadium, super clean, I observed more than one staff member with a broom and dustpan cleaning up
Michael Parr: Nice rink. Well organized
Tim Kerr: Super clean, well run ice arena with two great sheets of ice. Very safe facility and parking.
dorsey vital: Fun time 😁
Daryl Mitchell: Best ice arena around. Clean. Great ice. Great staff. A true Dearborn gem
Erick Schuck: Nice rink clean large locker rooms concession plenty of parking what more could you ask for.
Brian Wade: One of the better rinks around. Ice is always good, locker rooms well maintained and clean and the staff is awesome. Played here a lot, every Friday night for the past 6 years. Only complaint I have is a complete lack of stick and puck or drop-in Ice times available.
Jannat Alwaeli: It’s a very nice place for family ice skating
Joseph Koss: The best thing about the DISC is the comfortable feeling you get when walking in. It is always clean, well-kept, and the staff is always quite helpful. But as a hockey player, coach, and parent, knowing that ice times, operations, and ice conditions are always top notch make it an easy place to call our home rink.
Vega sleison: I ENJOYED THE TIME TOGETHER WITH MY FAMILY WATCHING THE HOCKEY 🏒 GAMES!!
Bryan Trent: Nice clean place! Hot chocolate was delicious
Jose Rangel: Great place for skating and hockey 🥅, the coaches are some of the best around and they value enthusiasm and ensuring personal accomplishments are never missed.
Andrew Baron: Nice local ice rink in Dearborn. Has friendly staff and guests. Lots of historical items.
joe murray: Ice ice baby. Too cold too cold.
kirsten peck: Was able to view the facility online, looks nice,,But I don't think this facility is hooked up with LIVEBARN,or one of those services,,it needs to be.
Bethany Schuckman: The ice was great!!

Shaye Roman: Great family fun
Charese “Amazing Kinkz” Howard: Nice pool
Barney Meyer: Amazing ice rink! Great ice some of the best in Detroit! Plus the home of The LC AAA hockey team!

Tony Couch: Great rink been skating here for years!
d r miller: Haven't been there in years.
Shelia Bernard: When to water aerobics excellent yay
Robert Cesario: Oak Park Ice Arena has been around for several decades and has always been a great facility to play hockey.
Ryan Busch: Currently there is no open skate to the public. The Oak Park city website lists this incorrectly. They do have league and drop in hockey. See the website attached to this listing for that schedule.
matt Twomey: The place is looking great. The LED lights are a huge improvement.
mark omell: Nice venue with comfortable seating in lobby and snack bar
Sharon Brittain: Nice rink....home to Brother Rice School.... Convenience snack bar... Clean restrooms.
miraclefuntime: The kids and I had fun
Derryl Givens: I go to Oak Park to ride my bike on Tuesdays. Not the Ice Arena I like riding my bike. Great crowd people are very friendly and it's a great ride see you there Tuesdays between 6 p.m. they leave out at 7 p.m.
Norm La Salle: Family fun place
terrance white: Set up well. Could be warmer

Viking Ice Arena: what do users think?
Brian Eickholt: Big place. I’ve was good. Easy parking
Leonard Domzalski: Nice rink , good parking
Clare Olson: Only 1 rink with decent seating. If you are in the Pro rink it's awful.
James Hamele: They would get 5 stars if they could get the showers somewhere between scalding hot and freezing cold. It's an older Arena, so with that taken into account, it's not bad.
Sean Hancook: The ice has become nearly unplayable. Worse than a poorly maintained pond. There are waves and bumps throughout the ice from the zamboni which clearly has something wrong with it. The 6inch of yellow dasher boards can barely be seen in the corners meaning there is 4-5 inches of ice piled in. Showers do not drain, some nights they are scalding hot and other nights ice cold.Overall Terrible.
CS V: No Livebarn and a not very inviting rink. Kind of run down. Kids said ice was awful
Richard Rehner: Amazed at how poorly this arena has been maintained. Unbelievably cold in the Pro Rink, boards were missing huge pieces the corners, the goal lines were non-existent from lack of painting, and on and on. It's a shame to have a tournament in a place like this. Gives Detroit area a bad name with teams from out of state.
Love Family: Can the ice conditions at Viking Arena get any worse? @cityofhazelpark refuses help to resolve it. Can’t see any lines (ice is too thick), chattered surface (poor Zam maint.), uneven ice (poor Zam operation), rough ice (cold water). Mgmt sits in office doing nothing. Shameful. The rink is home to at least 2 AAA teams and a High School program. I can’t believe this is deemed acceptable.
Christopher N.: Unplayable ice surface. Maintenance has gone down hill. Dirty restrooms, lobby, benches, stands... Needs some hard work and TLC. Poorly managed. City doesn’t respond for help.
Jason Pedersen: Disappointed no Livebarn...
Amanda Taylor: Great rink! Love the free open skate!
Adrianna pittman: Tried calling no one pick people were rude
Jessica Mansilla: So fun! Nice arena and enjoyed skating.
thomas murphy: No help
antione hackney: The people here were very friendly. It was my daughters first time ever ice skating and everyone was extremely patient with her. I would highly recommend these facilities for anyone who wants a pleasant place to take their family and enjoy the ice.
Carol Gunther: Not the best for spectators. It was freezing inside the rink!! And all spectators sit in low bleachers at one end of the ice so you can't see the action at the far end of the ice.
Michael Detmer: The Pro rink only has 2-3 rows of seating on 1 end of rink, no heat, we all froze during the game. The Olympic rink was down for repairs. All in all, a dumpster fire of a facility.
Jeffrey Asquith: Great
Daryl Gotham: Looks like the Men's Restroom hasn't been cleaned in a month.
Tom Deacon: Great place to play, starting to show her age. Ice is always on great shape.

Kalvin Hang: Not bad. Not bad. Best of all FREE. No Id required!Great water.Park and play. Good job Warren!Even have close bathroom and lifeguard!Wow.Highly recommended!
Michelle Michon: This place isn't much of a splash pad. It could use some repairs and more fountains for sure. It's a convenient place to cool the kids off if it's near you. But basically it's a big puddle to splash in.
Brandie Makie: The fountains are on now.

Farmington Hills Ice Arena: what do users think?
Nathan Nosudo: Nice arena. Lots of classes offered.
Brian Martin: The facility was clean and seemed to be well run. During the 3 days that I was there, the pro shop was never open.
Hockey Mom 7: Nice rink! 2 sheets of ice. Good sized lobby with lots of seating. Concessions was only taking cash during our visit.
Megan Harwood McConnell: My daughter's have taken skating lessons here for the past year. It is well organized and the teacher's are friendly and caring.
Kevin Sedlmeyer: Went on a first date here, ice was great and it wasn’t crowded at all! Also it was a very clean facility!
CB: First time playing here and while it is an older rink they seem to take good care of it. We didn't interact with any of the staff since it was a tournament, but overall a solid no frills ice arena. They need to open the concession stand with so many people at the rink easy money IMO.The ice was well maintained for the most part, but got chewed up quickly. For what it's worth was good.
Todd Salpen: Is a cool place
Chris O: Farmington hills ice arena is always well maintained and the kids love it! The ice rink is city funded and there is a cash only snack area located inside. Super clean and everyone that works there is always friendly 👍🙌
Greg Tracy: My favorite local arena. No bar, so no fights. Good consistent covid restrictions, mostly implemented. Nice sheets as well.
Wallskiweicz 31: Pretty good hockey program and ice
Jeremy Gould: The rink is nothing too exciting but it is a city run facility so it is pretty well kept. There is a CASH ONLY snack bar that is open most of the time and a small pro shop in the rink that is usually open during peak hours. There is always plenty of parking no matter when you come. The rink is the location of the huge Perani's hockey equipment sale every summer.
Michele Birnbaum: The referees suck....and the games get out of control!
Elian: 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
All Black Hockey Sticks: Great little shop in Farmington!
Brock Watters: Nice arena that is well maintained. My only complaint is the locker rooms are a little small.
Dave S: Very nice ice arena. One of my favorites.
Kylie Arsenault: favorite ice rink to figure skate at in Michigan
William Jones: Rude, the employees at customer service and on the phone seemed like they had better things to do then help us out.
Jose jcarb: Great ice rink

Eddie Edgar Ice Arena: what do users think?
Rebecca Bockstanz: Love to skate here!!!!! ⛸
Marc Harris: 2 rinks and a store in it super nice
Jennifer Harris: Whooped their team 13 to 4 AA by the way
Courtney Woods: They need an ice monitor on Friday public skate. Its not fun to almost get bodied by a 200lb man flying around the rink at mock Jesus speeds. Go to canton for a Friday evening skate instead.
Andrea Deane: Nice staff, bathrooms are clean. Only downsides- I wish both rinks were open for open skate, I wish there was more seating for families getting ready for open skate, and I would like it a bit warmer while watching hockey games. I understand it's an ice rink but damn it's cold in there.
Chelsea Davidson: I signed our four year old up for the Snow Plow Sam program and I cannot say enough good things about the people who work here!! The women teaching the kids are so patient and helpful. Tonight is only our second class so my son was getting discouraged because he kept falling; the sweetest woman came over to help! She fixed his skates (I had never tied skates before), showed him how to scrape the ice to make a snowball, played Rock Paper Scissors with him, etc. and it turned his whole mood around. I was shocked when she said she was the Director! It really shows how much she cares about her programs that she was out on the ice helping all of the kids! And Ed, the Zamboni driver, made my kids night when he came by to honk the horn for them! Everyone has just been so friendly and they seem to genuinely like kids. So thankful we found this program!!
Dante Abdulla: Always great !! Been coming here for 30+ years and always a great experience.
Iffat S Chaudhry: Wonderful Facility
Rick Bowling: Nice set up. They need to set up vendor station to allow tips with credit card payments to be fair to the kids who work there.
Kim: Great time. The skates hurt as they were rental, hockey skates. We may be back...with our own skates😁
Tiffany Mussin: Hockey time is always a good time! The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly.
Brian Soucie: Nice clean arena!
Steve steve: Watch my grandson play hockey nice rink clean inside and out bathrooms are clean
James Clapham: A nice place to play hockey
D W: Roomy. Sadly, nobody has ever cleaned the urinals in the men's restroom. Caked-on urine stinks to high heaven.
S N: Well run family ice arena that offers many great community skate programs for all ages
Thomas Schoenfeldt: This was a great place to have the breakfast at the Spree. It was well organized and efficient. Lots of good food and wonderful volunteers.
jay s: Good place
daniel lefevre: Nice place, clean and well maintained with plenty of parking.
Carrie LaCross: Their facility is clean and well taken care of. Their programs are great. Decent snack bar.
