Bel Air Luxury Cinema: what do users think?
Maurita Grimes: Love my local theater
laveta davenport: I give Bel Air 5 Stars! I hosted a private screening of the Little Mermaid, and i'm so glad that I did! The service, popcorn, drinks, movie, nachos, hot cheese, jalapenos! My guests enjoyed it all!
Noel Robertson: The place was clean and quiet. The concession stand was clean the food and drinks was tasty 😋. I will be back
Valerie King: Great place for a movie
Amey Thomas: Love this place. Friendly staff. Beautiful inside. Best popcorn around.
Helen Giles: It was nice and cold. There weren't but a few people about 8 there. The seats ate comfortable but do not recline. There wasn't a lot to choose from to watch that day.
Melvin Burns: Great Great Great Theatre
Larry: Had theater all to my self came at right time
darcelious simmons: Nice neighborhood quick stop.
trey: the movie sceen was alll black u couldn't even seen the ads if i could rate this 0 stars i would personally i wouldn't even come back to this movie the movie came on and it was still black i went to see super mario and i waste 40 dollars to not see anything stayed like the photo the hole time
Larry Taylor: Great
Ellisa Nelson: It was a beautiful theater. I had an amazing movie going experience
Susan Christie: Popcorn was the best I've had in Metto Detroit area. 2 ppl $22. Tickets & 1 extra LG. Popcorn w/ lg. 2 drinks $22. Parking lot needs work & way better lights but movie, seating, legroom, &cleanliness was good.
Nichelle Haith: The first face I seen was at the ticket counter and he was an older gentleman possibly the manager. When I reached the counter he had his head down reading something, he raised his head looked me in my eyes and put his head back down about 30 seconds passed and he looks at me again and didn’t say a word. He displayed no customer service skills whatsoever. When I got to the theater door popcorn was everywhere I couldn’t even step over it. Inside the theater was worst. Nachos in seats soda spilled candy litter in every single row. I did not have a good experience on March 31. I did go to the ten o’clock showing but there we’re only 8 people in there so no excuse why to place wasn’t cleaned. Anyway no more late shows up there for me.
Leonard Curry: I LOVE this place 😍😍😍😍
David Howard: John Wick was great
Joyce Ann Alfred, BA: I'm grateful they're still open and I can enjoy a place within the city of Detroit with my child as my parents did with me! Thank you!
Black Pill: Was really fun but I don't like how people don't clean up after there staff
Libra Xoxo: I love coming here so much. It's literally so comfortable and peaceful here. I also love the food. I just hate that every time I come the cheesesticks be out which is my fav...
Dedan Douglas: Last time I was here , was the nutty professor and New Jersey Drive was playing!! Lol..
Kanisha Houston: Too many come after 5pm. They weren't quiet during the movie

Redford Theatre: what do users think?
Carlton English: Next to the artists village where you findYour creativity. Find yours.
John Voymas: Wonderful restored theatre! Many classic movies often with live organ thirty minutes before and during intermission. Silent films with organ accompaniment, too. Snack bar including buttered popcorn. All volunteer.
Kel Green: I LOVE the Redford. Been coming here since I was a child with ny mom. Nice selection, great organ music, cheap snacks & always clean. Secured parking but some street parking if you're early.
Danielle Graham: Vintage theater that shows great classic movies.
Ken Horn: The theater is historic, beautiful and the organ is the real deal.
Nanette Glencer: Beautifully restored theater! I really enjoyed the organ music provided by the excellent organist Nancy. The buttered popcorn was delicious. The staff are volunteers, and they did an excellent job.
Yolanda Harden: Came to see My all time Favorite Movie, "Imitation of Life" it was awesome. The theater is still beautiful. I've not been here in years but will definitely be back soon.
Rene Vazquez: Great theater a lot of history, had a great time
Eileen Thompson: Such a wonderful location that is thriving doing something fantastic for the local community. I'm so happy to see the old theater put to excellent use. We saw a candlelight performance and the players were amazing. Very happy with the venue as well. The concessions offerings were top tier, as were the staff.
michelle Grant-Stemen: Love this theater so much! Beautiful! Love everything about it!
Jessica Wiegand (Jessie): What a cool place! Feels just how going to a small town movie theater felt in the 1980s and earlier. Cheap concessions, wide rows, velvet seats, and a speacial treat: an organist plays jazzy tunes before the show and at intermission. Parking is kinda weird (random lots full of potholes with questionable rows and rules), but other than that a neat experience.
the gamers: Great atmosphere and watching a movie on the big screen is awesome. The organ is something everyone should see and listen to
Jay Frear: Very enjoyable
Shirley Hawkins: Wonderful memories
Lindsay Harman: Lovely place to see a movie! It’s such a beautiful theater with secure parking and good concessions. Very friendly volunteers run the Redford.
Mahmoud Assaad: Very nice place, nice ambiance. Parking lot is good but would run out of space quickly and cannot accommodate all attendees if theater is full.
Misty جونز: Such a charming little theater, just like stepping into a 1960's venue. I love going there!
RICKY RENAUD I: Memory of my time singing on stage and seeing the 3 stooges
Sandra Smith: Love the Redford Theater!!!Movies are shown Friday evening, Saturday matinee at 2, and Saturday evening.Just went for the 3 Stoges Festival last weekend. I've seen many, many Stooges classics over the years, but these were never seen before shorts- by either myself or my guest. What a nice surprise that was!Went for the Saturday Matinee, and there were a great amount of patrons.Everybody clearly, was having a really enjoyable time!!Great movies, great historic theater- celebrating their 95th year this year!- great prices for tickets and at the concession stand!!All Volunteer staff does a remarkable job.So VERY glad this gem is still around, and hopefully it will be for a long time!
Julian M: I love going to the Redford.
Mann E.L.: What a cool place! Great ambience, something fun just to get out and do. Popcorn is yummy! Feels like an old fashioned romantic theater.

Senate Theater: what do users think?
Mark Lewis: Great silent movie. The organist (Scott Smith) was awesome!
Belinda Massey: Went to see a play was cool...Lighting was good easy parking entrance and exit...didn't like barrooms being upstairs not good for handicap people
Ema: Went to see their animation fest, it was fun! The pipe organ was beautiful.
Twonni Mathis: Visited this theatre for the first for the 8th Annual Detroit International Festival of Animation and it was super cool. There was hot dogs, pop corn with a variety of sodas and candy to choose from. It was nice to learn a bit about its history and the Organ Overture was amazing!
Mali: Went for the Animation Festival. First time going and first time being in the theater. Been there since 1929. They are raising money for renovations. Everyone was friendly.
Edgard Alicea: Love the vibe and the volunteers are so kind I like the fact that I don.t feel discriminated against when I go with someone to the event I will try my best to go to alot of the shows would to see old kung-fu movies in there one day like 5 deadly vemons
Jerry Perzanowski: Great theater with a rich history (and a Mighty Wurlitzer!)
April S: This place is part of historic Southwest Detroit. I really enjoyed the "stand still in time artifacts" in the lobby and bathroom. One of the owners was a little uptight about running a credit card for popcorn but we got through it.
Kristina Spear: Had the opportunity to walk through the organ chambers. Beautiful place, so glad it is being restored and preserved.
Shaun Hayes: Great classic theater vibes. They usually show a pretty good selection of movies and do a great job with the overall customer experience. Cool selection of posters and t-shirts as well. The restrooms could use some improvements.
Paul Keenan: Eclectic old theater going experience, complete with an organ performance, cheap concessions, and classic films. Makes for a charming evening.
Ernestine Howse: It was Awesome All the Storytellers was great.Mrs Alberta did an excellent job.
crocusvernus: The theater itself is not nice. The women's restrooms had no lock on the doors and they are upstairs, so very hard for people with disabilities to access. The show we watched was so worth it though, Ballet folklorico de Detroit, amazing talent!
Linuxfox00: Closest place in Michigan to me to come listen to theater organ. I was never really a fan of organ music before coming here but I am now. Everyone should check out this place and give it a listen.
LuckeySev: Fun very Nostalgic. Old-school movies felt like time traveling.
Bionic Wonder: Loved it! Very nostalgic! Artsy feel! Great staff! Great concession stand prices. The organist and live organ playing was such a nicely added treat. The Christmas songs were great to hear for the season. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back again.
Rae: Went there for the first time to see Halloween. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere with drinks and snacks too! Can’t forget the beautiful and powerful Wurlitzer organ! A one of a kind experience! If you’re looking for a nice date night this is a place to add to your list. We can’t wait to go back!
Sarah Maier: Such a unique experience! We had a blast at the "Halloween" movie showing! Will definitely return.
Robert Klacza: The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ originally was installed in the Fisher Theater in the Fisher Building in the New Center area. It was removed from there, and installed in the Iris Theater, and later moved to the Senate Theater. The organ has four keyboards and 34 ranks of pipes, numbering around 2,000. The Detroit Theater Organ Society keeps this vintage instrument very well maintained !
Richard Scott: Amazing organist accompanied silent movie. Must experience this.
Ronda Hart: Great Haunted Place

Detroit Film Theatre: what do users think?
Cleo Parker: Great movies, lovely restored Theater attached to DIA
Paul Swensen: Easy parking, fast in and out, didn't see Ada bathrooms but they could be hidden. Comfortable seating.
Mark Tremel: Boisseau! Fabulous, incredible and serene. Wow. An absolutely great and architecturally impressive theater in the DIA that shows some of the most interesting films you can see. Meticulously curated selection of artsy and thoughtful cinematic delights. They also have some nice pre-event space with refreshments and impressive interior decor details. I think my favorite thing was feeling like I was transported to the 1930s and was meeting my date at the cinema.
Janice Weiner: Movies that immerse viewers in a fresh view of life far from mundane existence. Elevating!
Terry H.: Concert of Colors featured Ukraine's Dhakabrahka at DFT, an outstanding performance in a beautiful venue!
Robert Schippert: Amazing
Joya Mills: The theater is exquisite. The architecture and design is reminiscent of the theaters of old with the baroque and ornate style, marble floors, cloth comfortable seats. The sound and acoustics were pitch perfect. It's a really nice theater!
T. Martin: Beautiful theatre with excellent programming.
John Voymas: Watching Oscar Nominated Shorts - Animated and Live Action. Some very good animated ones that reach you at an emotional level, especially "Sister" and the alzheimer one.The 2022 spring season has so many wonderful films from around the world that we bought two five-packs of tickets.
James Mc: Go, see, expand your perspective.
Dawn Sketch: March 2022. Oscar Nominated Animated Short Films. First time back in two years.Wonderful experience. Every other row is blocked off to space people out while we are still in the pandemic. Sold out show at 35% capacity. Everybody was masked. No concessions. Everything was clean. This is an amazing building and fantastic volunteers.
Breanne: I really love this theatre. The people are friendly, it's clean, and there are no bad seats. The seats are comfortable. Tickets are reasonable and they show a lot of unique films / events.
Stop It: Beautiful venue. Take covid card and mask. Reasonable interesting movies.
Emma Swartz: Absolutely gorgeous theater, and the DFT always has an amazing calendar of films and concerts.
Itzamara Lesniak: Well if you want to escape from Hollywood this is your place. They show great quality films and the prices are affordable. The staff is great with Covid 19 protocols.
Mary Newton: Nostalgic like the film's offer re d
Antonio Ross: We had a really nice at the end of African American history month Monica Blair she was awesome Too. 👍
R. Coo: Enjoyed
Brittany Bogus: The Detroit Film Theater plays such a wide variety of films, from silent films accompanied by live music to cat videos. Because it's housed in the Detroit Institute of Arts, you know anything you watch will be fantastic. The theater itself is a work of art.
Doretta Wilkins: Went to see the Detroit Youth Choir and they were " Spectacular"!!! I see why they were so close to winning on AGT!!! Keep up the great work, young ladies and gentlemen!!!👍😁
Vernetta Anderson: Beautiful theater. A smaller version of the Fox Theater.

The Film Lab: what do users think?
J. Robert O'Leary III: The film lab no longer exists nor did they pay their bills for 15 months prior to being evicted.
LORAN D: Cool spot with amazing cocktails
Cham Zhao: Love it here! They always show really good movies and the cocktails are super tasty. They also have a cool private room you can rent so you can watch whatever movie you want w friends. And they have karaoke on Fridays!
Keara Scannell: Had an incredible intimate birthday viewing in their beautiful private room. The whole space has a great aesthetic and the drinks are top notch! Will be back soon.
Marissa Jezak: love this spot!!!!! we rented the private screening room to celebrate a friends birthday, and had a blast! very cute vintage vibes, and the staff was great- they delivered our drinks & snacks to us so quickly. amazing cocktails 🍸 will definitely be back
Kelly Guyman: Had a lovely time, Film Lab is one of my favorite places to be. Great drinks and people. As well as a sweet selection of movies. Also! There is a private side room available for rent with a projector. Rented it with a few friends recently and it was just what we needed.
Dennis Zaluski: Awesome setting.Hope they keep the intimate retro style.
Lomo Go: Super cool esthetic without being pretentious and friendly staff! Will definitely be back!
Dan Lawrence: Drinks were top notch. The setting is comfortable. A great way to spend an evening.
Jacob Scott: Unique place for movie lovers. You sit outside so make sure you’re there on a warm night
Anna Eveslage: I wanted to love this place, and the inside is amazing. 5 stars for that. It’s aimed for cinephiles and clearly the owner loves movies and has her heart in the right place.I have to say, however, I found the outdoor viewing experience super disappointing. I went to see a movie I hadn’t seen before, and was excited about. The Sound quality of the headphones wasn’t great, and they didn’t block out street noise. There were constant, distracting shadows cast on the screen from the overhangs. I had to walk out of the screening. If I were seeing an old favorite just for the fun of seeing a movie with some friends, it would be fine… but for a film I really want to immerse myself in, it‘s just not an optimal viewing experience. If we could have screened the film indoors, I would have been much more satisfied.TL;DR a great spot for a fun movie night out but a terrible way to experience a film if you care about sound and picture quality.
Emma Hodge: Amazing atmosphere for cinephiles and cocktail lovers. We sat outside with our dog, by a fire, on a chilly evening and watched Beetlejuice with a headset. Great drinks and movie theater snacks! The only thing that would make it better would be more comfortable seating 😊
Lauren Uchalik: A really cool experience- I can't wait to be back! We came here with some friends to see a film and I was unsure of what to expect. I grew up in Hamtramck and couldn't imagine how we were going to watch a movie in this space but I was so pleasantly surprised! The drinks were fantastic and the idea of the drive-in/walk-in space next to the building is a great way to enjoy Hamtramck as well as bring a crowd to the city that may not find it otherwise.
Benjamin Justus: Awesome place. Delicious cocktails and great movies showing every week with a wonderful atmosphere
Luke Castle: Amazing venue, great place to hang out and see a film.
Claire Gardulski: Great place to see a film. Love the outside screen.
N Gumina: This is of the coolest places I've ever been. Great drinks and an awesome atmosphere for watching movies. Very stoked to come again
Ali Rastegarpour: Absolutely love the Film Lab. Great venue for foreign and independent movies and events (such as Oscar parties) with drinks and good pop-op food.
Brad Reckinger: Cool little bar...love the vibe
Ryan Potter: A fantastic venue for quality films, delicious pop-up food, and equally delicious beverages. The owners have revived the old Post 1 P.L.A.V building on Holbrook in the wonderful community of Hamtramck and created a unique gem of a micro-cinema experience. The sound is great, there has been an intermission both times we've attended, and a good tip is to get there early for two reasons. First, seating is limited (see note below). Second, you need to see and appreciate the space before the lights dim and the film begins.NOTE: The ground floor is an intimate setting with about a 50-person capacity, but we were given a sneak-peek of what's happening upstairs and that space, when completed, will be a much larger theater experience.
Penguinlad: Came here to see a friend's band. The acoustics in the building are pretty good, especially considering how many people were in the building at the time. The alcohol selection was fairly small, but I can forgive that considering how small the place is. Overall, things were fairly decent, but not quite at five stars since I wasn't impressed with the liquor selection they had (though that is likely more a matter of personal taste, but it still factors into my opinion).

AMC Fairlane 21: what do users think?
Patricia Stewart: I went and watched the new black panther movie the 4pm showing and the front staff service ppl was amazing the reason I am giving a 3 is because there was ppl smoking or vaping weed in the theater and talking loudly after many times of asking to for them to become quite by many ppl and they just progressively worse I have bad hearing and even with how loud the movie was I could barely here the movie out of the ear I do have good hearing with. This was my boyfriends late birthday gift to me and the whole evening was ruined because otlf the 2 bishes that wouldn't stop talking
Kenyatta Laurence: I went to an early movie, it only cost $6.49 before 5:00. Had a wonderful time.
Renetta Meadows: They need to upgrade this theater I will not be going there ever again someone's child COUGHED over my head though most of the movie..... it was a NIGHTMARE!!!
Kaitlyn: Cerfew for movies?? Frustrated to arrive and be told to leave because I didn’t have an ID to watch a pg13 movie!
DeMont M. Knighton: Was a dope experience like old times for me
Hiba Alzubiady: The theatre was disgusting. Not clean, smells bad and not comfortable
Tony Benson: My cherry icee was the bomb dot com
JW: Anytime I come here they never have my pretzel bites available. To have so few customers coming in how are you out of products all the time?I should have went to a different AMC location that I know for sure has it. Not to mention this theatre is very dry and dull. The restrooms are in need of major renovations. This theatre has lost its luster & appeal a long time ago. Nothing looks new or pristine. Can't even get enthusiastic customer service anymore.
Ashanti Lloyd: It's the Minor's trying to get the adults to get them in
Skye Rainbow: Trust me when I say go to mjr in westland or emagine in canton or anywhere is better than here. Expensive concessions counter and seats are old school don't recline and are not comfortable at all, especially for a 2.5 hour movie. Also I've never had a problem at other theaters with other customers but the ones that go here are horrible and ruin the movie experience. Don't go here. Only not a 1 star because I could deal with it.
Lawanda Hamilton: Not a good place. Very dark and most of the concession food was not available. Not very clean. I will not be back.
Christopher Howard: This is by far my favorite place to watch new movies.
Cher Fost: I was uncomfortable, the seats were tight and unkept. They can really use an upgrade like other theaters. At the food stand, it took way to long to get our food and they were out of items already in the middle of the day. In the lobby are it was darts and gloomy. The restrooms was far from okay as well. For the price of movie tickets these days, I would expect a lot better.
Raliegh Green: It was not children friendly
Craig Eddingbourgh: Enjoyed our self's wasn't crowded and it was clean
Kenny Carlson: Old and dirty seating. Concession area never clean.
Nicky Anderson: The row I was sitting in wasn't clean......it could be that they don't have enough employees 🤔.. but only open the theaters you can cover.
Haider Abdallah: Nice theatre, safe, big show rooms but no recliner. Not crowded or full with teenagers.
Mostafa Al-angurli: I went to Detroit with my family friend and we decided to go watch a movie. The employees was like someone has to be the age of 21 to watch any kind of movie even PG movies like what. They were talking about having a curfew and they close at 8:30. I’ve never seen any theater like that. Then we came the next day and turns out the theater closed for further notice. That experience was a total L
Keith E Jefferson: Closest theater to me. Needs an upgrade to the seats & facilities overall
Rebecca Sakry: It was an interesting building
