Victoria Nikol': I haven’t been here in years… I honestly this year made it the 10th years before visiting the other day.My time there was nice. I went for a birthday party which took place during their starting hours which was 11am. And we were able to get a tent/ shelter area for 2 hours. During the 2hrs the staff was polite, approachable, and very attentive to our needs/ wants. The event team do very well.The park itself have not change in the last 10 years, everything was still the same as it was years ago.If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to enjoy yourself and take the kiddos for a few hours or the day this is a good place to good in the city of Detroit. They have pools for all ages. Kiddy pool for the little one. Water slide for the ones of height (48in). And large wave pool for everyone.One thing that should be fixed is the steps for the water slide…. I feel as they can be cleaned/ cleaner than what they were. Also, maintenance upkeep on the bathrooms/ showers… less water on the floors and proper drainage.

D Williams: My family had a great time here. This was my first time attending and ive been a resident since the it opened. I was surprised by how clean it was. Guess I did expectuch from Wayne County but they have handled this place well. The lifeguards were on it. There was no getting away with much of anything that shouldn't be happening at a public pool.

Morris Garraway: A great part of Rouge Park. There's plenty to do, 18 hole golf course, with a driving range, I'm watching the new tennis courts being constructed, and many are playing basketball, barbecue, walking around the track and having a great time. Unfortunately the swimming pool isn't open, but I enjoy the park!

Plum Health DPC: We had a phenomenal time at the Brennan Recreation Area. We visited for the Diner en Blanc 2019 event adjacent to the Brennan Pool. Hundreds of diners dressed in all white attended and brought their white table cloths, centerpieces, tables, chairs, food, friends and good vibes. There’s a medium sized parking lot nearby and plenty of street parking. No street parking after 10 pm in this area. We were there in the evening in late August and there are plenty of shade trees around and no bugs. Other times I’ve been to this area, there are great running trails nearby and if you go around dusk, you can see deer in the area.

Pierre F.: I was told my kids can only be in the center from 4pm to 8pm .... Even if I am with them... I thought this was a center for youth also, but if they can only be there up to 4hrs a day ,even with me (a parent) then this is an adult center. I literally got kicked out.... My kids are in the boxing team and everything.... Doesn't matter.... No kids.. until 4pm to 8pm....

Fatoumata Cissoko-Willis: Great community center for Detroit residents. I was serviced by a very pleasant woman today when I signed up for membership. She was patient, pleasant, and very helpful. I'm excited about all the programs and classes offered throughout the week. I highly recommend for any Detroit resident. When you get the "Universal Membership", you can visit any recreation center in the city. I'm loving the open swim classes and look forward to more.

Anthony hill: Butzle is a wonderful community center that offers a wide range of activities for everyone, it is clean and the staff is kind. I have never had a complaint!

Ericka Jackson: They have knowledge/ resources and there activities for special needs and kids of all ages. They promote health and safety. A great environment to be around. The track and the trail is amazing especially when walking in the morning has been around since I was a kid and it still standing strong so go stop by and join in the community.

Jeff Daniels: Not a basketball friendly gym. The membership expense's are cheap but come with too many rules. Makes it impossible to get a solid workout or utilize all the facilities in your possession. If you are looking for a place to casually work out for fun you might have a better chance. Mainly for some of the older folks 60+ but anyone under 25 will not enjoy the experience.

Lia Threatt: My daughter is attending a 6 week Volleyball camp here. The coaches are so professional, knowledgeable and well organized! The price is so reasonable! The facility is nice too! They offer other activities as well! Zumba, swimming, boxing, and other classes!

Only Covid testing.You would think that for the $5000 a year property tax, they would offer physical exercise facilities. About 90% have been closed for Covid. Detroiters getting nothing for $$$ again.

I did, was directed in, test was administered and I was out. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you for making the experience so pleasant. 😊
