Chris Camper: Be careful of Bob, or "Bait and Switch Bobby" as I've come to know him. I spoke with him over the phone, he said a particular vehicle was there for sale. I got there, and of course, the truck had already been sold at auction. And, of course, he tried to sell me other sub-par trucks.
Shreesh Raj Sammi: I contacted Ray lathem for the 2022 Jeep Compass trailhawk, that showed 12 miles as mileage on the website. Nick responded and texted me the price. Next day I tried to contact Nick. He never responded. When I called, I spoke with CJ Williams. I sent him the screenshot of the message Nick sent to me. Based on that he gave me a price. I liked the price and reserved the vehicle by making a payment of $500. I was told to obtain insurance with for the vehicle. I did that and provided the proof of insurance. Insurance rep wanted to know the mileage. I asked the same question to the reps at Ray Lathem for next couple of days. I was never informed about the exact mileage. Now comes the day 3. Nick calls me back and renegotiates the price, putting blame on CJ. Whereas Nick was the person who sent me the message with the price. I felt cheated but still decided to move with the deal. I again asked Nick about the mileage and got no answer. I completed the credit check and the formalities required. Next day, when I was about to leave for Detroit, I asked Nick about the mileage again. Here comes the surprise. He tells me that it has 708 miles on it. I felt cheated again. This was a simple information which I had been asking for days. Nick is the kind of who lacks ownership and lacks professionalism. I called Joseph and left a message on his voicemail. While I was enroute, I received call from Joseph Allen. Nick had already breifed him. He was nice and listened to me politely. Finally I reached the dealership and met CJ. While I was completing the paperwork. We told everything to Thomas. Thomas brought CJ to discuss. CJ was super rude and put blame on us and said, "Look I feel that too many chefs got involved". First of all, we did not invited the chefs, and when you are being asked an information. The onus is upon you to provide it and not us. At this poin,t I felt that both Nick and CJ arthe e same and lack professionalism, ownership and manners. All he had to do, was just listen to our grievance, say sorry and move forward with the deal. He was not even able to do that, and as the conversation got heated, we decided that we do not want to talk with this person. We requested Thomas, to ask him to leave so that we can continue with the deal. We went forward and made the purchase.I must highlight here that when a person goes to buy a car, he is kind of excited and happy about it. But instead, people like Nick and CJ spoil the entire experience. Also, it is not always about money and bargaining discount.
tlennon: Update: They finally scheduled a date with me to bring in the Jeep for warranty work. Then it sat for 8 days before they worked on it. Work done appears to be pretty good but that's the only positive thing I have to say. The entire experience was terrible.-----------------------------Absolutely terrible after sales service. They've lied and given us the cold shoulder. I've been trying to get someone at this dealership to simply call me back for a MONTH regarding an appointment to get warranty work done and they simply refuse to call me. The front desk person has relayed my messages to everyone in management and they refuse to return a phone call.To anyone thinking of buying a car from Ray Laethem, you better hope it's perfect because if you need any warranty work done (Jeep is rusting already), they couldn't care less.

John Mazur: Scheduled oil change, tire rotation, filter change and brake service two weeks ago and received multiple confirmation text messages. Arrived on time 7:12am and almost seemed like a surprise that I arrived. Went through quite an extensive explanation of what was wrong with the brakes and stressed that it is intermittent. Left dealership at 7:25am. Called dealership at 4:00 pm and inquired on status of vehicle. Told brake technician not available today. Inquired if oil change, tire rotation, filter change occurred and was told nothing was completed. Inquired why would an appointment be made two weeks in advance if nothing would be performed on the vehicle. Was told to place the vehicle in line for when a technician would show up. I went to the dealership to assess and found multiple vehicles being worked on. Was told could leave vehicle overnight in an unsecured lot that the dealership is not responsible for if damage occurs to my vehicle and I stated as this is the second time this has occurred that I will take my business elsewhere. I have plans on purchasing another Jeep but not from this dealership after this nonsense twice. I am a busy professional with little time to spend on taking a vehicle in for simple service. I have been coming to this dealership for 6 years and never again

Marjorie Harvey: Challenges during my service. 5 months of working on my car and no loaner or anything was available during this time.! My service advisor Olivia tried to get the higher ups to rent me car from the local car rental and it was denied! When I finally picked up the car the driver window controls weren't working so I had to go back to have it fixed.My service person Olivia was amazing with communicating with me during the entire process. Even when I called her 2-4 times a week 🤣…she still gave me excellent customer service. Upper management and Chrysler you need to do better and help this dealership maintain more vehicles for Loaners or have an alternative option when customers vehicles are there for a time period like this. If I would of gotten a loaner I would of given 5 stars ✨ 🤣

I’ll be back cause I was overall satisfied with the work and customer service, but the pricing for that service is crazy.
Debi Raab: I am sad to have to update this review 2023. I purchase a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for $40,000 - market price. I knew the jeepHad been in an accident and airbag deployed. I was assured it was no big deal and was fixed. This is FALSE the jeep is worth far less because of this. I owed $34,000 and was offered $24,000 by several dealers a wholesaler and carvana offered me $20,000. This is a huge loss and I was totally unaware. I didn't pay under market value. As a normal consumer I had no idea that this was the case. I was assured that it happens all the time and isn't a big deal. Well a $10,000 loss is a big deal. Very deceiving. Big Lou is awesome. Went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Even made a follow up call to see how I liked my new vehicle! NEVER had that happen before. Highly recommend him!

Larnell Simpson: I leased a 2022 Dodge Ram from Northland Chrysler December 6, 2022. The vehicle radio was working intermittently. I brought it back the next day to get repaired. I was told to record it when it was having the problem, so I did. My last lease vehicle 2020 dodge Ram Bighorn was still on the lot. When I came back I was told that I have to leave it for a few days. I asked for a loaner vehicle they told me they didn’t have any. They could have loaned me my old lease until they fixed my new lease vehicle. After coming back for the same issue a few number of times, I was still told that I will have to leave it for days just to get diagnosed. I finally got an appointment for May 30, 2023 after the supervisor for the service department Luke step in and made my appointment. It took them an hour to diagnose and a new radio to be ordered. Now I have to wait for the radio to arrive so that the old one can be replaced and the new one installed. Its horrible that my issue is just being addressed after almost 6 months for an issue that could have only taken them an hour if they took the time and they could have loaned my previous leased vehicle until my new one was repaired.

Kristin Costigan: I got all four times done on my Jeep Patriot on 11/22/22 at the Village Jeep service department. I also bought the vehicle from Village Jeep and have had every oil change done there. Three months later I am driving and the front tire falls off. All five studs had broken and the tire falling off damaged the rotor. I had the vehicle towed to another Jeep dealership since I was up north when it happened and had the repairs done. I brought everything into the Village Jeep Service Department. The first person I spoke to Jason, wouldn't even look at me. He then got the manager Kyle who spoke respectfully but of course they would not admit fault despite saying yes that broken wheel studs are usually technician error. They tried to say maybe someone had tried to steal my tire. Despite all of my loyalty there as a customer and being a multi billion dollar business they offered to SPLIT the cost of the studs only (not the tow or rotors) and gave me an insulting check for $120.00. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could have been much worse and they clearly don't take it seriously so I would not trust having any service done there.
Ryan LeBeau: My wife and I were looking for a very specific type, color, style, etc. of Wagoneer, and Village Jeep was the only dealership within 400 miles of us that had exactly what we were looking for. They allowed our local dealership in Illinois to purchase the car for us despite Village Jeep not receiving profit or any type of benefit for themselves on the sale due to state over state transfer rules. Village Jeep's owner and sales team are genuinely interested in doing what is best for their customers even if what is best for their customers doesn't benefit them. Great experience. Highly recommend buying your next car from Village Jeep and their genuinely honest and trustworthy team!
