S A: The best hole in the wall kabob in the WORLD. I know it sounds shocking, but I’ve had kabob in Iran, Turkey, Dubai, Los Angeles, DC… around the world and nothing has topped this place. It has burned my memory and I often make trips to Michigan simply for this place.

Michelle Foy: Arbeel Kabob is an Iraqi restaurant that also serves Mediterranean food and is an excellent place for any meal and any occasion! The meal we had last night was fit for a Sultan! They give very generous portions here. The service from the very nice lady server was so friendly that we felt like we were at a friends house.We ordered appetizers and also ordered the family platter for 2. If you order this, you get to try a variety of what they offer and it’s enough for 4 people! It’s the best!We started off with a very creamy lentil soup that was very comforting. We then had the best hummus I ever ate in my life! It was soft, smooth and was really addictive. We couldn’t stop eating it. We then had the falafels which were shaped a little differently than most places but they were served hot and tasted very good.We moved on to the salad which was refreshing with the dressing of olive oil, spices and fresh squeezed lemon. The huge warm breads are made in house to accompany your meal.The meat platter was show stopper stunning and every meat item we ate was flavorful and melted in our mouths! We also received a bowl of vegetable stew to eat with the rice.I think anything you order here is going to be delicious. To top it off the hot tea and sweets at the end really finished out a very nice evening here.My favorites from this meal was everything, but if I had to pick then it would be the hummus, boneless carved chicken and the lamb and chicken kabobs.Beautiful place, people and of course the wonderful food!

The sandwiches/wraps are good, the hummus is mixed perfectly, but one of my favorites are the steak bites and veggies. They're usually cooked and sauced perfectly. My back up option is the cream chop sandwich with fried chicken, pickles and ranch...Arab-American food at it's finest!
farah Hermiz: This place really P***ed me off. I ordered a Greek Goddess salad with grilled chicken, extra feta, and extra dressing. I paid for the extras as well. There was barely any feta on my salad, let alone “extra”. Pretty sure their feta went bad, because it smelled and tasted off. I heard the cook ask the man who took my order if he should put extra feta. It was all too sus… however, if there was an issue, all they had to do was tell me. I would have ordered something else. Instead of lie and charge for something I didn’t get. I’m 8 months pregnant and when I want something I want something.

The food was excellent. Our food was so fresh that we could not eat it, because it was so hot. We had chicken shawarma with fries and rice. It fed two full grown adults. Our 9 yr old son ordered chicken tenders and rice, which lasted him two meals, plus he snacked on the leftover pita bread for two meals. We saw a man come in asking to use the microwave for his burger and the bathroom. The staff were seemingly very friendly and did accommodate him.Wheelchair accessibility: Not many parking options, but you should be able to bring in a wheel chair.

Jazzmin Finney: They literally gave me all the same sandwiches and charge me different prices for each, didn’t want to replace my sandwiches unless I sent them photos from my phone. That wasn’t the issue, the real issue is I had to keep the sandwiches on hand until I came back that way to get my order replaced because I was not coming back the same day. Who wants to ride around in the car with garlic sandwiches? Then, she also stated there are signs all around the lobby that says Check your order before you leave because they’re not responsible. How the hell am I supposed to check 5 sandwiches from the inside? How am I going to explain to my family and friends I was digging in there sandwiches because Kabob House are robbers. They do this solely for money, they don’t care about their customers.

Crystal Jankiewicz: The food here was always good… when it’s right. Sadly, I wont be patronizing this restaurant any longer. The last three times I was here what I recieved was not what i’d ordered. Once they replaced my sandwich with a different one because they were out of something without checking with or informing me at all. I live in Detroit and coming back right away isn’t always an option. They are rude over the phone (I’ve been hung up on when I’d call to try to fix a mistake) and not at all helpful with refunds or fixing their own errors. My advice, if you order carry out, please make sure you check that everything is correct and there before you leave.

Sara Awad: Honestly I was one of their biggest fans foe years. I have since moved to Chicago but would still get it whenever I returned to Michigan. This past weekend would be the last time I purchase from them. I was hospitalized due to food poisoning which turned out to be due to Ecolie( I got an extra sandwich I had tested). This truly wasn't what I expected from what was once my favorite restaurants.
Houssam Salem: I just ordered 2 small sandwich’s special and my bill came out $45 insane I can’t believe why ,am looking at the receipt a small shawarma sandwich $5 regularly on soecial at that place for $12 plus they have 3% crwdit car and surcharges its like your buying a car with hidden fees insane .

Zee A: Nice ppl/ service but for a $7 chicken shawarma, I’m expecting great things and my sandwich was a bit dry. They do offer a snack size $1 hummus which is good (could’ve been more flavorful tho).
Sally Cooper: I previously gave this place 5 stars a year ago. The Hawaiian smoothies used to taste great. But today I ordered 2 of them and they were nothing like before. It tasted like straight up strawberry banana. I thought I ordered a Hawaiian medley but only thing I tasted was strawberry & banana. I hate it. On top of that it was $7 per smoothie when they’re really small cups & wasn’t even good. Chicken strips & fries was $14 too way too much money for barely any fries. When I called about the smoothies I was told that’s how the smoothies always have been made & she told me they did nothing wrong even after she told me they did change the mango juice. But yet says they did nothing different.. what a joke. She told me to come in for a refund. Sassy nasty attitude

realbc7: Kabob Inn is the source for terrific carry out when I’m in the area. Their clean, tidy to go orders have never failed me. I love their shawarmas, I feel they pack in the meat order, don’t skimp on the roll and are very nice. Depending on the time of day it can get slammed but usually in and out. This family owned joint is worth a stop in if you’re traveling down and around Telegraph and Joy.
