JINJI Korean Cuisine & Soju Bar: what do users think?
Chun Sil Dupont: Authentic and delicious. Great atmosphere.
Ketra Turner: It's PERMANENTLY CLOSED!! I'm came all the way from Tennessee to eat here and it's shut down.
Chaeyeon Kim: They are not open. We just went and they were close.
m ok: We only got the dumpling and seafood pancake. They were both delicious, but the seafood pancake was our favorite! Next time we visit detroit, will definitely be back to dine in. They were also very friendly.
Hawah Freeman: Awesome!!!! I constantly send our guests to this restaurant or recommend them for delivery. They all rave about Jinji 😊The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is wonderful!! Definitely 5 stars 🌟
Ellen: Ordered delivery and everything was on point! Coming from NYC where we have plenty of great Korean food, it's nice to find authentic good stuff here in Michigan. The galbi tang was flavorful and just the right amount of salt, such great comfort food on a rainy day. Soy garlic chicken wings are as expected of Korean fried chicken. Lots of great quality banchan. Bibimbap + japchae were great too! Can't wait to come back again.
Han Mee Kim: I am ashamed that this is a Korean restaurant!!! The food was not even good and it is definitely a rip off. Take your hard earned money and eat better food!! What a waste of time and money.
Sarah Berlin: Their korean bbq is so good! Its a little expensive but definitely worth the price!
Lana Min: The food is amazing no doubt! I tried the soon doo boo and the octopus dol sot and the ddukbokee so far and they were super delicious. Also they give you a lot for the price. The only thing is the servers are kinda slow and unresponsive but everything else is perfect!
Nicole Jackson: I ordered Tteokbokki with Ramen a while back and I can say the food was very good. The restaurant is nicely designed and clean. The staff was also kind.
Cierra Swinton: So sad it is closed now. Will you all ever reopen?
戴Teresa: 小菜很不錯,食物也很好吃,海鮮煎餅可以多給一顆星星。
ayanna kaley: A taste of Korea when you become homesick for your adopted home.Everthing is delicious!
Mark Buckman (bAdmArk): Excellent food with matching service and pricey but not prohibitive.
Jeffrey Oliver (lil O): This place was amazing. The waitress was awesome and the food was excellent. I am new to Korean food but our waitress steered us in the right direction and everything was great. 10/10 will be going back.
Philip H: Soju was very good, but pricey.
Flying Flyer: Definitely a 5-stars Korean restaurant! Food are delicious and authentic! The side dishes that come with entrees are also very tasteful!
Tatiana Rodriguez: Overpriced, sub par food, bad experience! As someone who used to live and work in Korea this place was extremely disappointing. All of the flavor profiles were off, and ingredients were not correct either. For instance I ordered the fried kimchi rice, and it had a bunch of cheese on top of it. All of the flavors were wrong (too sweet, not spicy, bland, etc.), and it just definitely felt whitewashed. Not authentic at all. Plus when I ordered one of the soju's from the menu, it had an option to choose which brand. But they brought me the wrong brand, which I was fine with and just asked if they could change out the soju for the correct brand. I then got an earful from the manager who was telling us that we needed to educate ourselves because this new brand was a sub company of the company that made the other brand, so it's the exact same basically. If she had spoken to us respectfully and just let us know it would have been a different matter. But she was really rude.Definitely don't suggest going there don't suggest going there
Michael weathington: Very enjoyable. Everything was outstanding!
jennifer Smith: I always love eating korean food. I make it all the time. Husband said he was satisfied.Bill was $76 but we had 2 appetizers, 2 meals, & some soju. Good deal for us.
Havilah Zamora: One of my favorite restaurants. Food is always good, huge portions and great chill atmosphere. Some of my favorite dishes are the tteokbokki, japchae, kimchi mandu and honey garlic wings.

Cary Almas: COVID is over. Open up your restaurant, Clowns.Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Chuck Curtis: GREAT PLACEWould highly recommend
Janette Flores: Their spicy mayo has to be one of the spicies one I've had so far! The food is delicious considering the area it's located. There is no dine-in and their ordering area is extremely small for the amount of business they get. If you are walking to this area there is no waiting area inside so Def recommend taking a seat next to the DIA building while you wait for your food to be ready! But even so the wait time is never long.
Kaia Karamoko: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5More
Jade: Fantastic! Some of the best sushi I've ever had. It looks like take-out only, but there is a small dining area in the building. The flavors were amazing 👏Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Steak Bibimbap, Chicken Katsu, California Roll …More
pearl winstead: onl giving it 2 stars bc it tasted good when i ate it, bro the japchae literally was delicious but it made me uncontrollably throw up in the middle of the night like what the heck is in that...tteokbokki is good tho
Nykia Hudson: Susi rice was mushy and overcooked haven’t been back since maru is a much better quality of sushi if your in the downtown area
Crystal Anderson: Spicy beef udon noodles were awesome as well as the eel and avocado rollFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ahmet Sert: Don't waste your time and money going to this place. It's not cheap and service literally doesn't exist. They make you walk through 3 rooms just to sit you down on a street bench and serve you with foam boxes. The sushi is mediocre, pork chops are cold and they serve you vegetable tempura when you actually order shrimp tempura. Never coming back.
Felicia Calvo: Odd dining setup but great food!
stephanie graves: It's so delicious! Shrimp tempura upon is my fav
Bipasha Jagjeet: Vegetarian options: I like vegan sushi and Wasabi this ones goodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ariana Mann: Good food and pleasant host. I ordered the yum yum roll
lester finney: I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog on its death bed. My sushi rolls had over 6 BONES in it. My family got sick for 48 hours after eating this sushi! Worst experience EVER!! Wouldn’t even give them one star but the system makes me.
E Tapia: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Ladybug Jackson: Deliciously spicy California rolls.
Jerrita Hall: Restuarant is not open but food smells good.
Reading IsFundamental: Good food, Large selection!
Zarinah El-Amin: I have NEVER just thrown my food away while still hungry, but that's exactly what I did here. I should have turned around when I saw the way they presented the restaurant and the fact that there was no one else there, and no proper seating, but I decided to give it a try. I was treating my friend for her birthday. I ordered beef bibimbop, one of my fav dishes. She ordered the spicy seafood bibimbop. My lil bit of meat was bland and cold. The rest of the meal unseasoned and room temp. Her dish was spicy but she said it tasted like the shrimp were not clean and that while spicy, it was underseasoned. I literally threw my food away in the "dumpster" they reserve for people who dit down. She didn't want to throw hers away in front of me, but she too stopped eating. $45 down the drain. I didn't think to complain while there or ask for my money back, but later when telling another friend about this horrendous experience, I found out I should have done that. This place is a big fat NO.
에바이안: Pretty interesting lunch today!Take out only!Rolls were fresh and pretty good
Hector M: Good food but they keep raising the prices and not by 1 dollar but by 5 to 6 dollars. Crazy. Wish that wasn't the case would have order from them everyday.

Ipsiom: My wife and I have been here many times and we’ve never been let down. The Korean fried chicken is incredible, and their bbq and other options are always great! If you want amazing Korean food, this place is a must! Arguably the best Korean food in Windsor.
R S: I ordered the Korean fried chicken.First of all, it’s breaded chicken nuggets (80% bread and 20% chicken). It is NOT fried chicken pieces. And it costs 35 dollars ? There is NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THIS FOOD ITEM!They just put the word “Korean” in front of it to scam people into thinking it’s “different.”You’re misleading people. What a scam.Do not order this dish, it is nothing delicious or different from store bought nuggets from a box. Take it from me and save your 35 dollars unless you would like to buy a Korean scam for 35 dollars .
Al From Windsor: Came here with some friends, really good food
Thomas Daniel “Thomathy” Ford: Excellent bi bim bap.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shweta Kandari: A must for all the K-drama fans , it’s a cozy place with good food and music . I tried ginseng tea & peach tea, both were good. And we ordered kimchi stew & Tteok-bokki , kimchi stew was very delicious but I didn’t like the Tteok-bokki as much. The portion is too small i feel but overall it is good place to try atleast once.
Bosco Wong: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Trevor Laframboise: What a great gem in West Windsor! We had the all you can eat BBQ dinner, with yummy sides and sauces. The food was awesome, enjoyed the kimchee and all the varied items for the BBQ. My only comment, as it's not a complaint, would be that the bacon they provide could be cured or prepared better as it had very little flavour. The staff was super friendly, attentive and courteous. They served us with a smile and engaged us animatedly. We tried the sweet Korean wine for the first time as well, very tasty.Overall, we definitely plan to eat here again, and tell as many people as we can about this great little family run restaurant. Highly recommended.
Zack Berjawi: This is my absolute favorite restaurant in windsor. I have been coming here since I was a student at the university. The food is delicious and you can tell how much love and care goes into preparing it. The owners are some of the nicest human beings you can encounter, and always welcome you with a warm smile. My recommendations would be the Kimchi Fried Rice, Duck Bulgogi, Beef Bulgogi, or the Sizzling Bimbimbap!
Vanitha T: Delicious food and wide variety of menu. Friendly service, will visit again
Pradip Rimal: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Blake Blanchard: Abit pricey but very tasty foodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brenda Allison: Very tasteless. Tiny lil bit of kimchee in a paper ketchup cup and no flavor to the beef.
Acadia Costigan: Delicious food, lovely staff and great music
Bern: Windsor Seoul is unfortunately very disappointing. As others have said, the food is overpriced and is served in small portions. Paying hard-earned money for a thin dinner here is not worth it. There are many better restaurants available.

Ken Jenkins: Excellent sushi spot. First time checking this place out. Sushi was fresh, service was great, food presentation was beautiful and portion sizes were healthy. Definitely will be back soon
C L: Update: it's Mother's day 2023 (4/14/2023) They have plenty of open tables and servers, if you're thinking of taking your mother out today this quaint place is the perfect place to go without the stress of crowds. We had a great first experience here, the ambiance of the restaurant was amplified by the authentic music playing overhead, loud enough to hear but not so loud that it prevented conversation. The sushi rolls are fresh, I'm a bit picky when it comes to sushi and this was 9.5/10 based on my experience. I love how they served the sushi in a boat, we had 6 rolls and it cost a little above $50 which isn't bad considering I usually pay around $80-$100, it only took about 15 minutes to get our order. It was a Monday afternoon so it wasn't very busy there was one table with three people finishing up when we arrived and another two people who came in while we were dining. My favorite roll was the MSU roll my son liked the sunny California roll which had an abundance of orange caviar on top.All in all this will be my new go to sushi restaurant it's in the heart of East Dearborn 🍥♥️
Iman Zeidan: Everything tasted amazing! I'm in loveee with the tteokbokki (rice cakes). The Bibimbab and the Chicken Yaki Udon were so good too😋😋. It’s cozy in here, you may have a privilege of l privacy during the meal. The food is tasty. Service is polite. Nice music and quiet aura. This is exactly what you need in case you are looking for home atmosphere or escaping from people. Also they have a great homemade wine, tea and lots of other beverages. CattCros: one of my favorite restaurants in the area! have been countless times and have had consistent quality food and service. Best ttekboki and bibimbap around 😍Update: the restaurant has gotten new management and has gone downhill, I have not had a good experience food or service wise, the last three time I have tried to eat here. very disappointing. sushi is still pretty good tho.
Louie Ryu: This is the only and the best sushi restaurant in Windsor.
Alpaqua: I went here and ordered the teriyaki chicken, the large mixed tempura, and the fried cheesecake. Tempura chicken was good, I was hoping for more of a stir fry. It was good just not what I was hoping for. The mixed tempura was real good a mix of sweet potato, onion, shrimp, peppers. The fried cheesecake with mango ice cream, was awesome. I would definitely go back for more of the same.
Shaafi; For Behavioural Changes!: Great Japanese restaurant in Windsor, Ontario
Ashleigh Gunter: My evening started by not receiving a menu and I had to share with the person I was sitting next to. Then the drink I wanted to order was unavailable and the server suggested a similar drink and did not tell me it was $23 per drink (more than double the drink I originally wanted) I should’ve been told! That is super shady on their part. Then my entree did not come out until everyone else was almost done eating. I spent over $100 on an app, entree, and two drinks! Then on top of everything, a 20% gratuity was added to my bill. They force you to tip because the service is awful. Ridiculous I will not be back.

The stone bowls were great, it gave the rice some crisp, and it kept the meal warm until the last bite. The apps were great as well. Try the fried mandoo and also duk bokki. Overall, we had a great experience. Then had bubble Tea next door :)
Belle Leung: Been living in North York years surrounded by so many authentic Korean restaurants but none of them is having the same tasty pork bone soup as this restaurant. It’s DEFINITELY the most recommended restaurant in Windsor that you should go check it out. Exceptional flavours, big portion and very reasonable price. You won’t regret!!
richard hau: Ordered a spicy pork regular bim bap bowl, beef dupbap, Duk boking, beef mandoo (fried) and a pork bone soup. Everything tasted good, definitely like homemade. Prices are fair. Alex Cendecki: Delicious! My mom saw some Korean food on TV and so when I came to Windsor to visit, we decided to try this place out since they had clear vegetarian options. Smelled glorious as soon as we walked in, food came out in good time and was very tasty. Better than some bibimbap places in Toronto. Highly recommend the mushroom hot stone bowl.Vegetarian options: Clearly marked veg options and a good amount of them too! Always nice to see that on a menu.

Sam Street Food: what do users think?
Charmian Mak Pui Kiu: Me and my friend went to windsor for a swimming competition, and we were finding some nice place for lunch, and then we found the “Sam Street Food” on google, it looks really good on the photos, so we went there and tried their food. The foods are really good, and delicious. We talked to Sam and he is really nice and friendly! We ate the Japanese pancake and the waffles, the Japanese pancake taste exactly the same as the one that i tried in Japan before, and the waffles is really delicious and I love the ice cream on top! I hope we get to do a competition in Windsor again so we get to meet Sam and taste his delicious food again! We highly recommend people to come and try Sam’s delicious street food! ( This is the best food in the world and I can feel Sam used his heart for the foods! )
Alyssa Munoz: Me and my friend came to Windsor for a competition and went to go out and eat some food and we stumbled apon Sams Street Food, This was truly one of the best food we’ve ever had, and will think about it forever. The customer service was lovely and we enjoyed every moment while talking with Sam! The food was amazing with great taste and filled us up, I would DEFINITELY recommend trying this while in Windsor. (Hopefully we will have another competition in Windsor so we can eat here again!!)
Sabine Ducharme: I ordered the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki, and Sam was able to make it vegetarian for me. It was really delicious, and reminded me of Egg Foo Young, but with different flavours. Thanks Sam for your willingness to customize the dish, truly "as you like it" :)
XL J: Best street food in Windsor!!!有小时候的鸡蛋汉堡😭煎饼果子里还有薄脆,还有温莎日料店也不太卖的御好烧,强推😭I found this place on Google Maps, and they went the extra mile to come and try it out. It took us half an hour to get there, but it was totally worth it. The Chinese burger here is incredibly delicious and reminds me of the ones I used to have near the school gates back in my childhood days in China. They even use the same griddle for cooking the burgers, just like in China. I never thought I would find that nostalgic taste here in Canada, and it truly touched my heart. The Korean sandwich is also fantastic, with a generous portion size. I highly recommend trying their authentic Osaka-style Okonomiyaki; it tasted exactly like the ones I had in Japan. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this place. The owner of the store is very kind and friendly. They shared many stories with us, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I sincerely hope they continue to enjoy a happy life and prosperous business. What I want to say is that every dish they serve aligns perfectly with my taste buds. I will be recommending this place to all my friends, as you deserve more customers. As long as I'm living in Windsor, I will definitely come back here lots of times.
Ashleigh: A little bit of a wait for the food because everything is made to order, but the wait is so worth it. My friend and I got the okonomiyakis and the dumplings. The food was fresh, and felt like a home cooked meal. The owner was so nice! Definitely a hidden gem. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu!
Margret Hefner: Sam brings something really special to the Windsor food scene. His food is creative, full of heart and a reflection of his experience as an engineer. His menu is inspired by his Syrian culture and his wife's Chinese culture. I had the Chinese egg Crepe wrap and it was unlike anything i have ever had before. Lots of crispy veg inside an egg-covered crepe with a couple of seasoned chicken patties. So yummy! I watched the Okonomiyaki being prepared... A lot of steps! Don't distract Sam too much, like i did, because everything he makes is prepared fresh and takes a little time. Be patient... It's worth it. Can't wait til the next time i return to Windsor - that Okonomiyaki is calling me, next! I should mention it's inside the City Market which i didn't even know existed. A great discovery.
Grimsday *: The experience was great I ordered the Hiroshima okonomiyaki. The flavour was wonderful and it does take a little while to make but it's definitely worth the wait also my wife is Japanese and she enjoyed it very much. The only thing I would change is a smaller noodle than the udon.
Tamra Hull Fromm: Really delicious Chinese crepe made with fresh ingredients and artistic flair! And a pleasure to watch Sam make it too! He deftly crafted half with soy sauce and the other half with a spicy sauce so our friend and I could split. Will definitely look forward to another stop when we're in Windsor.
Rueben: Sam just doing his thing. Yummy pancake.

Richard Veroszlinden: I had heard of Okonomiyaki from an anime, and thought it sounded pretty good. Years later, I see this place come up, and that they sell it! So this morning, for my birthday lunch, I set out to order some Hiroshima Okonomiyaki.I cannot understate how delightful this is to eat.I must, but do not want to, wait for another day to try more items, because if they're even half as good they'd still be well worth it.The guy running it is super nice, and it's clear he knows what he's doing since this is now easily one of my faves. Very memorable, will be back.
Adam C: Amazing food, and such a kind and engaging owner. Definitely left feeling like I’d made a friend and a new favourite take out spot.
Julie Cho: The owner is so kind and I can tell he takes great pride in the food that he makes. I recommend the Hiroshima okonomiyaki. It is so good and you can't find this kind of food anywhere else in the Windsor area. If you want to try asian street food, I recommend Sam Street Food.
Jessi Evbuomwan: I had the Hiroshima Oknomiyaki. I was searching for where to eat Okonomiyaki in Windsor and found this place! I 've had the Osaka okonomiyaki when I was living in Japan and that's the only thing I can compare it to but it was delicious!! I loved it, the flavours complimented eachother and I enjoyed it a lot! I am definitely coming back for them and the other items on the menu! i also tried the new jelly fruit cup the tropical kind and that was also delicious! It had a hint of sweetness that wasnot overbearing and the size is pretty big for the price! I'll definitely go back fro them too! Customer service is amazing as well!Vegetarian options: The fruit cup as an example does not use gelitan as the jelly component.
Mike Lee: Delicious and so exciting to watch. A lovely human prepares the food for you with so much love and care. It is definitely worth a trip, and we’re looking forward to visiting again!Recommended dishes Jian Bing Guozi Chinese Crepe …More
Justina He: Amazing addition to The City Market! A great blend of many different cuisines, including chinese food specials, crepes, waffles and ice cream! I recently tried their oreo waffle it's definitely on my top recommended list! I also tried their protein crepe, which I liked for it's customization in meat, greens and sauce, although there was slightly too much sauce on mine. Service was decently quick and the owner was helpful with his suggestions on what to eat. It feels like a great multicultural restaurant for a quick bite! Will definitely come back again.
En Tn: We stumbled upon to this market and saw Chinese crepe (Jian bing) on menu. Love the flavor, delicious and friendly vendor.Recommended dishes Vegetarian Chinese Crepe …More
Jesse Toupin: Samir is the real deal!Incredible service and even better food. You can tell a lot of passion goes into what he does.I would highly recommend giving him a try if you enjoy authentic asian street food
Aeryn Ng: I ordered the Hiroshima okonomiyaki and the jianbing for the first time trying it, shared it with my dad when I got home and it was honestly delicious. I really enjoyed the okonomiyaki, reminded me of my trip to Tokyo, and the jianbing was great too! Loved the owner's passion for the culture and super happy to have a local spot for some Asian street food!
gina jeon: I'm South Korean his food remind me about Korea alot he's very kind as well great experience🙏Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David Liang: Excellent Hiroshima Okonomiyaki and Wontons.Okonomiyaki used the right type of bacon, and the cabbage + batter was a great texture. While normally I’m unused to udon in Okonomiyaki, the flavour worked flawlessly. In addition, the wontons were honemade (by the owner’s wife) and were tender and delicious.10/10 and a super friendly owner to boot

jaylynn Gladney: PLEASE GO HERE!!! Not only was the facility beautiful but so were the people here. I had a hard time finding a meal and the waitress had no problem offering her opinion when asked. There was another woman there, just as beautiful, was a big help whenever I needed something like wifi. Lastly, the prices were fare and the food was immaculate ✨👌🏼. Side note, there was a sweet older gentleman that would check on me time to time while checking out the dining area. Friendly environment with flavorful food. I AM going back in the near future ❤️

Special spot in my heart for the flank steak and lamb chops 🤤.For dessert, we had the banana fosters pie and the Brazilian cheesecake. Both were good but if I had to pick again, I'd go with the banana one.Drinks were amazing and made with care. I loved the house drink and the one with the espresso.
