Leila: what do users think?
Mei El: Terrible experience with John the waiter and when I complained to the manager it was basically dismissed.Very disappointed.
Alexis Berry: Had a terrible experience with John the waiter. Food was great. Ordered up a storm. Got the bill and immediately after signing check John walks back and says to me “You didn’t leave a tip!” I point to the over 20% cash tip laying on the table and he resumes to tell me “I wasn’t wrong for asking since you didn’t leave it on the card!” the most rude waitstaff I’ve ever experienced. I was totally profiled and not even apologized too. The Manager just thanked me for telling her. This place is far from welcoming and John should be in a different field. I’ve been here many times but they don’t deserve my business after this. Wow
Aaron De'Carlo Sapp: What up doe I can honestly say familiar with management berto you got a gem my mans, Scott managed my table for my mother's birthday and he did a wonderful job, thanks my boi my mother enjoyed herself so much she has already setting up for me to bring her back downtown another great time. Scott good looking...
Ajay Mehta: Great food and ambiance. Would recommend!
Suleiman Qandah: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Renée Torres: A group of colleagues and I went here for dinner during a recent conference trip. Beautiful spot, great service, and the food was amazing. We ordered all shareable plates so I felt like I really got a taste of their wide range. I got the 'Beirut' cocktail and loved it even though I'm more of a wine/beer person. I would 100% recommend visiting.Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes are vegetarian so it's easy for a mixed group to all find something
Matt Davis: Food: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Gaurav Jain: Amazing restaurant with delicious food. We tried falafel, batata harra with hummus. Great place but little expensive.Recommended dishes Batata Harra …More
Jim THORBURN: A must for dinning in DetroitFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ghenwa Z: Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is extremely friendly! Tomato kibbe and Sujuk are a must try.
Kelly Brown: I can't think of a single bad thing! The service was EXCEPTIONAL. I wish I could remember our waiter's name but he was so charismatic and really made dining here an experience. The mezze was delicious and I could have ate the hot pita and hummus all day. Great drinks, wonderful dessert, and even better ambiance. I will be back!
Z: If you're not just going for drinks don't bother. The service is great and the place has neat decor, but the food is so over priced for how mediocre it was. Save your money and go somewhere elseFood: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jonathan’s Guitar: Best Lebanese I’ve ever had. The chicken is to die for. The bread is a controlled substance. Waitress was a gem 💎
Jayanna Hartman: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Kanafeh, Tabbouleh, Fattoush, Chicken Tawook Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid parking lotMore
Garcia Bragg: The service was great and the staff was fantastic. The food was delectable 😋.
Raquel Palady: Food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly
maha kadado: Had very high expectations for this restaurant! A real disappointment, the food was below average, starting lebanese lemonad it had a splash of lemon, batata harra it was soggy and oily had to return it, muhamara was barely a tablespoon, beetroot feta nothing special about it just feta and beetroot that's it, sujuk lacked flavor, roasted chicken wasn’t fully cooked with no flavor, arayes were good! Too bad the place and atmosphere is nice but overall over rated!
Brandon Barr: We had another amazing evening at Leila. Honestly, it's one of the best restaurants in Detroit. I have eaten here many times and every single time is an experience.
Amrit Ahluwalia: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mixed Grill Platter, Garlic Confit, Batata Harra, KebabMore
Rhonda Wared: First off, ordered, the falafel went to celebrate Dad’s birthday and Eid. Only received three falafel‘s between the six of us. And in my half of the last fall, there was a piece of glass/machinery from mixer at least 2 cm in diameter, which, thank God, I did not swallow, nor did my family. Hi, I quickly alerted our waitress and gave her the fragment of the mixer. She showed it to the chef , where he confirmed it was a piece of machinery. She also said don’t worry we wanted to give you peace of mind so you wouldn’t have thought that it would have been something unsanitary at which point I was dying inside. Food was below Average overall. Was super alarmed when the bill came in over $400 felt that we hadn’t eaten much really. My waitress had forgotten to put in parts of our order. Also had continue to feel ill the next day, along with sharp, abdominal pains. If I could give this place less than one star, I would.Me

Loulou Al-lami: The food is typically really good. I wasn’t fond on our waitress Mary- she is very pushy. She doesn’t give you time to order or look at the menu. She orders for you. The food we got, is not what we went in wanting, it all ended up going in garbage. I took my daughter there again yesterday to eat- noticed she was the waitress and walked out. Ended up getting a carry out. We were forced to eat fast- we were there for less than 30 minutes. It was suppose to be a mother- daughter lunch date that we hated. Very disappointing.
Ali Mohamed: Excellent food and a clean restaurant. Though little expensive
Hana Bahoora: Food was good and reasonably priced.

Sven Tietz: Nice Lebanese restaurant option. Food was good and also good value - portions were generous. Service was good too, somehow simultaneously having an element of culturally appropriate Lebanese offhand service, while at the same time friendly and welcoming. Definitely enjoyed having a meal here and will be back 👍

Bree Alexander: Food was fantastic very delicious. Great staff so nice and spoiling us. Our waitress Angela gave us excellent service best service I’ve had in a while portions were huge food was delicious price was beyond fair. My friends and I said we will make it a tradition to eat here every year we come to movement festival and parties.
Ajay Kothari: We went for a falafel wrap take out on a recommendation of some one.The service was great. The falafel were ok. I would not say that they were exceptional.
Jose Diaz: The food is good but the service could be better
Sohail Khan: Best tasting grill meat and rice ever
Janice Johnson: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Ahmed Saeed: Ordered half boneless chicken with two sides for $29 dollars. The meal comes with two sides and I chose rice and Hummus. For almost $30 you’d except a decent amount of food, but that definitely was not the case. The hummus was given in the smallest container which I tried to over look. What really bothered me was when I opened the container with the rice and chicken I was mind blown. There was only TWO SMALL pieces of chicken, to paint a picture each piece was as small as my iPhone 13 and no it’s not a max. To make things worse the rice was below the chicken spread thinly on the bottom. All together might have been just a small handful. Do yourself a favour and go to country chicken down the street. ONLY reason I didn’t go is because they close a little earlier. But from now on I’ll make sure to get my food earlier. I don’t ever take the time to complain about my food but that was straight robbery. A complete waste of $29. Horrible. Never again.
Brett Reed: Awesome place great food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Martha Voss: I was so happy that the restaurant had opened up under new owners I drove from Toledo,Ohio for dinner. The staff was amazing. The manager/ owner was great. I enjoyed my lamb chops they were wonderful. I would highly recommend taking a trip to this restaurant 5+
Ahmad Abu-shtayyah: The La Shish plater was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C L: not as authentic as other places but good amount of food
Amin Bhatti: Excellent service lots of room fresh and tasty food good prices 👍🏼
Kulvinder Vohra: Delicious food. Quick service and great prices. The fresh pita bread and the garlic spread were to die for. Hummus was excellent as usual. Highly recommended for Mid East food lovers.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pita Bread, Freshly Baked Bread Basket with Garlic Dip and Mediterranean Salsa Dip, Shish Tawook, Crushed Lentil Soup, La Shish Combo, Tabbouli and Hummus …More
Soup Is Yum: My family loves this place and my mom always goes when she goes to detroitFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jerone Anderson: Food is pretty average to below average for Lebanese food in the area. Hummus lacks garlic or other spice and is thus rather bland. Same for the baba ghanoush. They don't seem to have a falafel sandwich which is my preferred dish and typical reference at Lebanese restaurants. The fattoush salad was disappointing and lacked pickled onions typical of this dish. The taboulee was fresh and tasty but portion was rather small for a leafy salad. The curtains on the windows are dirty and covered in dried food leftovers. If the place were cleaned up and food was improved it is a good location with decent service, though the bill arrived before we had a chance to order coffee and nobody paid any attention to our table after that so we left and had coffee elsewhere.
Ifraz Ahmed: This place was really good. Food was amazing and service was amazing too. One of the few restaurants where you don't have to ask to get a refill the wait staff does it for you.Really recommend this place. Food was amazing as well. They had the best bread I have ever had from any restaurant. Better than cheesecake factory bread. You could tell it was baked fresh and so fluffy on the inside.

alkhalil mashrah: Best shawarma I ever tasted in my life
Ali Al Khafaji: مطعم جدا جدا جدا طعامه لذيذ وراقي وبين مده واخرى اجي اكل يمهم الطعم نفسه ولا يتغير يعني جوده جدا عاليه في الطبخ
Arash Yunesi: Authentic Syrian cuisine. A sweet syrian couple are running the place and they have many delicious dishes. Cherry kabob was amazing. They also have some exotic dishes (for average Americans) like stuffed lamb stomach and braised lamb head. It is absolutely amazing but not for the faint of heart LOL.
Ali Bacharouch: Amazing food!
Taryn Dickson: Al Chabab has been my go-to for years when friends are visiting Detroit and I want to take them somewhere for a proper middle eastern feast.

Leah Rueda: Omg the food is so good! We got a little spooked at first because it’s a little bare bones inside but everything we got was fantastic. And the people who worked there were super nice, food came out quickly. The kibbeh was amazing by far the best I’ve had apart from home made.Recommended dishes Hummus, Fattoush Salad, Syrian Meat Pie …More
anhar al: First time ordering from this place, after reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and order. I picked up the food and went home and opened it I was literally surprised on how dry the chicken was, the meat chops were dry and did not taste good. And I order fries and rice on the side. The rice was over cooked smushed and didn’t look good at all. So I asked for fries and they gave me sliced potatoes on-top of the chicken on the same tray. I don’t know how that’s considered fries. I ordered that food specifically for my ill father who was craving it and when I opened the food I was so embarrassed of the quality and taste of the food. With that kind of food I was over charged not worth the price. I’m disappointed
A B: Nothing special, over priced.
Mark Issa: It was fantastic food and there are so many more dishes I can’t wait to try next time!
S Ahmed: 5 stars with an emphasis on the fattoush 😍😍
Al M: باچة

Ashley Peach: The Best Hands Down!!!!!! From the best shawarma to the best Kibbeh nayyeh/grape leaves the list goes on!!!!!! And I'm African American and I've had almost every spot on west warren and dearborn and the owner is a very honorable man.❤️
Esam E: Very delicious and clean food. Every time I eat from Chabab Restaurant, I find the taste at the same level of excellency. Their food reminds me of backhome food in old days.
john flynn: Amazing
Ryanm Gossett: Had the Arabic Shwarma and side salad. My girlfriend had meat shwarma and rice. The food was absolutely delicious! The owner was very courteous and even gave recommendations for our next visit. We will definitely be back. This is a top notch spot in the area and you're definitely missing out if you don't go

J. K.: The food is amazing!
Shilpa Persis: Really good lunch menu!
Raj AP: Some of the best hummus I've had. Weekday lunch combos are a great deal. The fattoush is a little too heavy on the vinegar for my taste but I'd highly recommend the rest of it.

Richard Mehedan: Excellent food. The pillau rice was cooked to perfection and the Halloumi Cheese and figs were delicious. The waitress was very attentive and got everything right including our gin and tonic.
Sofronis Mistakidis: Save your money and your peace, unless you want to pay a high price for mediocre food served by amateur/untrained staff.
Elena Russo: There seem to be not a lot of dining options in downtown Windsor, so we tried Mazaar. The decor is a bit kitsch, but that's not the end of the world. We got some appetizers and they were OK, then I got the beef schwarma and while it was good, the diah was way too heavy and greasy. Overall a decent dining experience but I'm not too sure that the schwarma place next door wouldn't have been the same, at half the price.

Amy Millan: My absolute favorite place to get chicken shawarma. I like getting the platter because it is big enough to share. I've been going here for years with my family especially whenever I would have to pick my husband up from the airport I would use that as an excuse to go since we are so much closer from the airport than we are from home. Nice people, food has always been good. Bathroom could use a little love but still my favorite Arabic food restaurant in Dearborn.Updated on June 17, 2022The food was So good and they remodeled since I was last here. Looks nice and everything was clean.Update May 13, 2023We ordered the Chicken shawarma platter so good with rice and a size of hummus. My son has Celiac so he got grilled BBQ chicken with fries. Also very good.
Adam Ajam: So we visited Hamido again today as we do as many Saturdays as we can. We drive 45 minutes to get food from Hamido. The staff is amazing, super friendly, so attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. The restaurant is so clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is out of this world. It's so well made, and delicious, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thank you Hamido folks, we appreciate you.

Ashraf Alfakih: The two senior ladies were very unwelcoming. They're too stressed out about business! If you have a small order and want to eat inn, their gesture isn't pleasant! When I payed for the shawarma wrap the woman highlighted the receipt to show me where to tip.Unbelievable! And I paid!I came the next day again just as they opened and sat down ordered the same shawarma, and they put the plate and the bill wallet together at the sametime, as if they're saying"hurry up eat and go"The wallet included a note saying "tip at least 18% we do not add service charge"It would be much easier if they added $2 service charge on the wraps and if the customer tips after that, then its a bonus. On my 3rd day befor flying back home to Calgary I decided to have breakfast in McDonald'sThe transaction was smooth on the kiosk the tables were clean and empty and the pancakes were much better for me than the greasy onion shawarma with the funny staff.
