Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital: what do users think?
M Johnson: Workers today in psych mod a, Wendella, stole my rx Oakley sunglasses. Refuse to answer my calls. Hung up on repeatedly. These workers are thieves and liars.During my stay, I received subpar care. This hospital is a fake. No staff, doctor, or social worker does anything helpful. Terrible place with society's lowest as staff.
Eddie “Grohmeezy” DeMent: My stay here wasn't quite as nice as other in-patient stays I have had in my life, however the staff was willing to listen and understood the needs of every patient. I must add, a small fire caused by a fellow patient broke out, and the hospital and staff handled the situation as best they could without anyone getting injured. Would recommend to anyone seeking or in need of help.
Matt Hayes: I went here two times when I was a teenager great food, staff, and other stuff the only problem I had was they put me on meds that eventually made me suicidal which wasn't there fault because meds are a pain thing to deal with and I didn't have the side effects til I got out I returned after a month of being out and they were able to get me on the right meds I really loved it there
Niki Favors: My mom admitted herself here at Kingswood. She said she loved it, staff was kind and respectful, she said everytime she looked up it was lunch time lol and she was resp for only herself and she really needed that. I'm actually considering admitting myself as I am currently experiencing depression and grief. Thank you Kingswood for your care for my mom🙏
Charday Bonner: Better than the other 3 mental hospitals I stayed at in Michigan. Staff is friendly, show they care about patients, food is good . They make sure you're not bored and you get plenty of groups through the day. Dbt is very helpful and they teach that thoroughly. I was admitted to Kingswood at age 16. Never been in a hospital before. They made me feel safe. Since then I've been back a few times . Never a bad experience.
Jonathon Johnson: Worse place ever, will return to leave a recipient compliant. Would leave a 0 if possible
Danielle Brunson: Yeah, about this particular place I have a good friend currently up there and she has given permission for her social worker and or other staff to speak to me about her care well I left a message for her social worker yesterday at about 9:20 AM and my friend even told her to give me a call here we are 4:12 pm the next day and she hasn't even called me back to address the concerns that I have about what my friend has been being told. Plus and I'm not sureon other MoDs up there but on the one she is on. There is only one phone for patients to use and or their family's to call them on. And according to the staff member I spoke with there is a bunch of parents on that mod yeah so far I wouldn't put my worst enemy in that facility.
Debbie Kopich: My fiancé was petitioned to kingwood and had the worst experience of his life. He was deathly ill for his 10 day stay and received nothing but 4 blood tests and no medicine to help. This same illness put me in the emergency room and on steroids. On top of that, he had a virtual court date that no one allowed him to attend, and in court falsely claimed he elected not to participate. Would never recommend to send your loved ones to this hospital.
Jason Cholette: I had a good experience at this facility the staff was real nice and respectful
Mz T: They make the patients re-use plastic Ware. If you throw in garbage they get them out & wash off & give to you to use again. Horrible hygiene & covid catching. Filing a complaint against st them. Horrible & Nasty
Kala Smith: Very rude to the general public.
Kierra: Great staff!!! I was here in 2019 & they were great! Especially the lady who admitted me I can’t remember her name but she was like the officer and she was in the basement area I believe…. We shared similar stories & she understood everything. She told me if I ever needed to come back to do so. All the nurses & social workers was EXCELLENT!
Breyana Morrison: I was sent here when I had just turned the age required to put in with the rest of adolescents. I believe 13-17. I had gone for self harm and suicidal ideation, I was 13 wanting to take my own life, I couldn’t be left alone. I was told I was fine and didn’t need any help. The staff didn’t seem to enjoy being there as well, find a different job if you can’t treat these patients kindly and with respect!
Zoë Harris: Currently on hold because an EXTREMELY rude woman named Sharon who refused to give her last name, badge number or any form of identifier who worked on August 12th around 9:30pm was being so disrespectful to both myself and my mother when I called as a former patient, who was suicidal, needing assistance getting my meds. She was EXTREMELY dismissive, inconsiderate, blunt, and rude for literally no reason. Now God forbid I took my life she would have to live with that. My concerned mother had to join the call to RESPECTFULLY get assistance and Sharon blatantly did not care and made it seem like we were bothering her. I understand that prescriptions are out of her very low level of expertise, but a GOOD WORKER and a concerned employee would at least provide info or point me in the direction of someone who could help. After we informed her that my mother is a health care compliance officer and demanded to speak with someone on a higher level who could be of better assistance, she put us on hold for about 5 minutes then hung up. We called back and she has refused to answer, keeping us on hold for an additional 20 minutes. Half way through the conversation once we became appalled by her poor customer service I began recording this conversation on my phone and would be happy to share it with your management or HR department. As someone who suffers from severe depression and anxiety I am disgusted that you guys would have such an inconsiderate person working in this type of facility.
Penguin Queen: I am a Registered Nurse. About 8 years ago I spent one month working at Kingswood. Mod C. My colleagues enjoyed belittling me. They yelled at the patients. They were so uncaring. It was a horrible experience. I was shocked by their behavior. Hostile. Rude. Warped. One nurse (My "preceptor.") yelled at me in the hallway because I spilled a few drops of water on the floor. She told me to wipe it up. On my hands and knees. As if I was her personal servant. It was one of the most humiliating experiences in my life. I worked in a Medical ICU for most of my career. We were a team. Professional. Caring. I have been an RN since 1988. Never did I experience anything like I did at Kingswood. These Mod C nurses were bizarre. Each one had oddities. How else to put it? Gaslighting. They never helped the patients. That was the worst month of my life. Do not work there. Absolutely do not allow a family member to be admitted to Kingswood. I never would have thought that nurses could behave this way.
Nora Yvelle: There are no order of operations within this facilityLooks like mental health help May be needed for staff and they need money to train them better on people skillsAlsoAs a social workerAnd having a family member in a facility there’s no way to get an update on himLady on phone said that she can give him my number and he can call but how can he call me if he’s incapable of talking mentally
Brittanie Miller: Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m not talking about the situation I’m talking about the experience at this facility. The faculty was horrible very unprofessional and lack of empathy for the patient. The building was run down I had no hot water for 6 days in the middle of winter despite telling the staff. The temperature in the building was so cold I needed 5 blankets on my bed to stay warm. There were toilet paper balls all over the ceiling 56 in my room to be exact! ( I counted) I didn’t get my medication for 48 hours. So I was in withdrawals on top of a mental health crisis. The nurses acted as if the patients were wasting their time, they were very rude and acted annoyed . It felt very unsafe and not therapeutic at all. No counseling, groups consist of coloring books. It felt more like the county jail than a mental health facility. The food was inedible cold, hard, old just awful in every way possible. This place is the very worst ! Stay away from this place.
Cindy Grymko: This is not a hospital it’s a jail cell for alcoholic and drug rehabilitation not therapy sessions or one on one sessions no hot water for showers and to keep the temperature at 50 degrees when its 29 degrees outside were hospital workers who tell patients to stop crying like a baby when they anxiety is so bad their medicine is not working I would never had sent my daughter there i had known they weren’t there to help just because she has medicad insurance
Jana Wheeler: Great doctors very helpful.
qrem11: Terrible experience. The rules are inconsistent every day. The staff obviously does not get paid enough or they would care about their work and the patients more. Complete lack of communication between staff and parents.Do better for your city of Detroit, Kingswood.
Nate Braden: I guess this is a weird review I have been to this place when I was a kid in it was okay but I'm trying to figure out well I'm trying to get ahold of my girlfriend who it looks like was put there and her phone was tooken at South Shore Hospital in Trenton so she doesn't have any numbers so I'm trying to figure out what unit is the woman's adult unit so that I can call up there to try to speak to her and get ahold of her because I know she's scared and I know that I need to talk to her

iAMERICA Medical, Substance Abuse, Behavioral & Mental Health - Warrendale: what do users think?
Alissa D: Numerous cancellations and reschedules on iAmerica in Garden City part. Appointments run behind and no one is held accountable. The psychiatrist here has been unreachable 2 times for appointments HES allowed to cancel... don't mind the patient who needs the medications and made to wait 3 weeks without.
Mona Copeland: very good medical doctors I loved the fact they call to make my appt
Shy Brown: By far the worse company ever if you can go somewhere the owner is trifling and very racist if your not her kinda ppl you wont get much help besides a pill but if you need some back dated documents whipped up real quick this is the place to go I am going through the exact same thing as the Brandy review they will mess up and falsify your paperwork then cancel your appts with no reasoning the staff is tremendously disgusting will hung up if your not their culture talk to you any kind of way hold your own personal information from you dont even waste your time they back date and make up so many documents you dont know whats true or not and all along your still not getting help you will be setback in every way but no I would not recommend Dr Rabia and her staff to anyone her attitude and ethics are the worse you will probably see find someone and somewhere else I will personally be taking legal action these ppl are disgusting
David Alp: Horrible service waste of time very unprofessional
Sharonda Billingsley: I missed a few appointments due to my daughter having therapy and the employees are rude.when they call your phone ask why you missed the appointment and when you give them a reason they get real disrespectful. Please do not attend this place. I experienced this first hand. this place is a no for me
Lala W: Please do not use this facility for your mental health needs… the negative reviews are very true, I experienced it first hand. This is the most unprofessional facility I have ever done business with. It’s scary how many mistakes we’re made during my treatment.1. Initial appointment with Dr. Husain was ok, facility was filthy and worn down.2. October 4 my appointment was canceled because of no insurance even though I have insurance.3. Made an appoint after sending proof of insurance AGAIN… another appointment was canceled because the doctor was out sick, was told my medicine would be sent to the pharmacy by my therapist and the office. I went to rite aid on 3 occasions mall of which they told mr me they had no prescription for me.4. I called The facility on 11-9 to get an update on my medicine and make an appointment, they told me that my appointment would be at 4pm I arrived at 405pm and was turned away because the doctor can’t work past 7 hours, I have never heard that in my life.5. I called yet again this morning to get an update on my prescription, since I was lied to many times and the owner said I wasn’t compliant with the program even though I made several appointments that were canceled, over the past few weeks they have made over 5 medical mistakes and don’t seem to care about the well being over patients that seek help and medical Therapy. Dr. Husain is running a practice that operates in such disarray and craziness.6. Please don’t leave your medical needs in the hands of these people all the care about is money. They leave patients without Medicine for weeks and lie saying they sent it to the pharmacy. I will be pursuing legal action towards this practice and would like all of my information released from this facility. I will call my insurance to make sure they aren’t sending invoices for appointments that never took place, as mentioned before all they care about is money, money , money! Dr. Husain should be ashamed of herself! I pray no one ever had to go through the issues I did while being a patient here…these people have no idea what they are doing. My legal council will make sure this place never sees the light of day!
Cherie Montana: very much in love - only few words to describe iAMERICA - professional, compassionate, ethical and sincere - I want to start a #iAMERICA - I have been going there for years and have nothing bad to say
alex cruz: Liers all lies i went in and asked if I can get help for treatment she said we don't have doctors
Kevin Rushing: Horrible! DO NOT TRUST YOUR MENTAL HEALTH TO THIS PLACE! Missing records, missed appointments, bad attitudes. They especially resent military veterans and will sabotage your case.
Miata Murphy: *This post has been edited for her reply. Interesting to say I'm "posing" as a licensed professional, when they were still willing to hire me and seemed upset that I was interviewing at other places. I was finally quoted "around $20 to $30 per client". I do hold a counseling degree and am just unable to apply for a license until a placement is secured, which they agreed to provide so not posing as anything 😊. Just goes to show the lies they will tell to hide their unprofessional ways!I am not sure how good their actual counseling services are but if you're considering working here I would steer clear. I have never previously encountered such ridiculous and unprofessional practices. I spoke with a woman named Rabia for a phone interview who called half an hour late and told me to "not to ask any questions" about her tardiness. She also refused to give me any information about the salary and told me "we are not having that conversation". I was also called unprofessional for pressing this issue, which is interesting given her extremely late phone call. Hopefully other candidates will be given much more courtesy and respect than I was after being extremely patient for the disrespect I recieved. Beware!
Deena Okeke: Terrible service. They left my minor daughter without medication for more than a week and still have not refilled her prescription. They have patients on medication without medical supervision. Very inconsistent with communication. Tell you they will call and don't. Leave messages for doctors and therapists that are never replied or responded to. They consistently mess up appointments and cant handle simple re-schedules while avoiding the patient running out of medications. They have no medical professional available to order a simple refill at the pharmacy. Both parent and pharmacy have repeatedly called and asked for a refill for medication of a minor child with no response. No concern for the health and safety of thier patients including minors. This facility should and will be reported to regulatory authorities.
Debra Flowers: Very nice and understanding Doctors!
Michelle Buckley: Great agency. They serve people who can not afford healthcare. I highly recommend. Dedicated clinicians striving to do their best to meet the needs of people.
Tracey Pratt: I am super disappointed I thought I would have a great “field experience” interviewed and everything with an individual name Rabia at the Detroit location, unfortunately there must have been a change of plans, because I never received a personal phone call or e-Mail stating any changes, after I was told I could do my field at IAMERICA…..It put me in a challenging situation having to wait 7 months. I just wish this information would have been thoroughly communicated. I’m sure the services are good, but this was not a good example of professionalism. Good thing I was able to receive guidance and help with placement for this upcoming Feb 2022. Hopefully this will all change in the future my mindset towards IAMERICA, but at the moment it is where it is.I left 2 stars to be nice 🤦🏾‍♀️
Jawad Bandar: I don’t recommend this place at all. I had an appointment scheduled Tuesday at 4:05. Never got any info on the appointment. When I called the office the women there were very rude. Laughed and told me that I needed to wait and that the therapist would eventually call me. After waiting 20 minutes I called the office and cancelled my appointment. What’s the point of making an appointment if it isn’t going to be respected. Additionally, got a call the next day asking me for insurance information after I’d specially told them I had no interest in continuing services with them. Very unprofessional do not recommend at all not if you’re serious about your mental health.
Juan Carlos Ybarra: my psychiatrist Jan is such a great Dr. listens and understands.
Omar Hinojosa: I've been going here for three weeks now. Im pretty happy with how things are going. I went here close to their closing time and the therapist took me in. She was informative and polite , I didn't feel uncomfortable. Go here if you need help
Terri Elizabeth: Just started going here and i love it already! I've been suffering from ptsd, biopolor depression and social anxiety for years and have been to therapist and psychiatrist all over the city and not once felt like they empathized yet alone sympathized with me until i went here! They really listen and they really try to help you! Mental illness is more than a Dr getting a check... Its suppose to be some compassion in the work and they have it here!
Tracye Ridley: This business is good company, thats why I like the place
Crystal Policelli: I really love my therapist but the new lady physicist is extermly rude.
Ms. McGee: The staff are professional and very compassionate.

StoneCrest Center: what do users think?
TooTuffTom: Since 2017, at least four patients have died within two days of being released from StoneCrest Hospital, a private inpatient psychiatric facility in Detroit. Despite being notified of each of the deaths, state officials never investigated. If you want the truth about this place go read the reviews here with the most thumbs up. Theyre all about how bad this place is. Youll notice also that the 5 stat reviews have 1 thumbs up if theyre lucky. So it speaks for itself which reviews are honest and which are posing. Absolute miserable excuse for a mental care facility. Outdated methods and staff that doesn't care. Good luck getting help with anything here. You will be placed around other people who may get violent or lash out at you for no reason, and guess what they're going to keep you around those people too. No private space and constant overstimulation. This place is a front for a tax write off or so Detroit can say they have a "mental hospital". Disgusting. This place should be shut down it is inhumane. Never witnessed such an awful environment for "recovery". You will leave this place more messed up than when you went in. Any 5 star reviews are likely spam accounts or staff trying to save its rating from tanking into the ground worse than it already is. There are good mental hospitals around Michigan but this is an insult to any mental care practice.
Caprece Rose: Kerry Ann the social worker on 4 north is rude. My wife is there and every time I’ve talked to her she’s rude and acting like she can’t be bothered to talk to me about her care. Leave voicemails she don’t respond. When she does answer she tells me to call back to then not answer when I call back. I would give 1 star but Shontia on 4 north is great.
Beth Boik: I went to StoneCrest center about 6 years ago- (approximately). While under their care, I found comfort and support from nurses, and staff.I attended art therapy and music therapy and to this day I still have all of my art projects! Art therapy was very important to me and my mental health. It helped me understand myself better and gave me the tools I needed to use at home after leaving the hospital. The art therapist was AMAZING! I will always remember her.Music therapy also gave me hope and cheered me up when I was severely depressed. I looked forward to the activities. I’ve been to other hospitals and not had the best experiences. But I felt like the staff cared about my story and listened to me.Thank you StoneCrest Center! ❤️
Madison droste: Very nice staff especially Yolanda m. Processing can be a little slow but they provide a very safe environment and go through all the proper procedures and make you feel comfortable. Much better than other places I have seen and treat patients with respect.
Brian Hubacek: Worst place ever!!! Dr Haddad is a real piece of work. Meds are refused. Release dates are disregarded. He doesn't even visit them. No one returns your phone calls. They overmedicate the patients til they're drooling and sound like they are drunk and can't walj straight. Restrain you for no valid reason. There is no compassion in this place. Forget any communication I tried for a week and got the runaround. Had to go down there to speak to anyone. Try and get your loved ones out of this place. It should be closed! Great place if you want your rights to be violated. Theres a reason they have to have their employees give reviews on here. Otherwise their rating would be worse.
joyce Smith: Never got a call about my husband who is a patient there by the case manager or physician. Even 1 star is way too many
Clare Azar: Stone crest had a very few women that you could tell had love. The tech Alicia was my favorite miss hello kitty was a good lady. And the cleaning lady was so very nice. Thanks for a good hospital visit
barbara davis: The admissions process needs a lot of work. It is completely unacceptable to have ambulances waiting for several hours to admit a patient. Several counties are struggling to have enough ambulances to respond to emergencies and this place ties multiple ambulances up per day for hours at a time. Most psych facilities don’t make EMS wait through the entire admissions process and honestly it’s not their job. Once the patient has entered a facility it is the staffs responsibility to keep that patient safe. Not EMS. Change needs to happen.
Alex Schweizer: Great staff here doing important work!
Susan Banks: I just spent a week there and it was honestly just what I needed. Unit 3SA had friendly staff, the food was actually amazing and they offered different group therapies such as art & music. Amelia was amazing at art therapy! The only complaint was not getting outside or getting fresh air. They keep it clean and they have good snacks!
KING S H A D Y: Medicine was overdosed I got put in the quiet room for no reason and rude workers!
jblock 2511: Horrible I was punched in face and no one did anything felt threatened for my life I have two black eyes PLUS THEY HAVE SCABIES
Laura Serratos: I've been there and hated this place. They won't let you hug your family membersWhen they visited me.i felt like if i was in prison.I wasn't able to sign out and leave.I received calls from my mom she told me that she was taking me to court to become my daughter guardian. After she assumed that i was never getting well. With my families in law. One of the female staff was rude to me.& Bcz I expressed how I felt loosing freedom. She wanted to send me to my room.My mom accused me of not taking my medsJust to have the doctors at Henry Ford hospital. To put me at this crazy hospital she accused me of having schizophrenia. When she called the ambulance on me telling them that .I tried to tell the nurse when she called me 10 days later.Letting me know i had to go to court to take my daughter away from me.She applied for guardian ship to have my daughter. All the nurse at the desk did was gave me more medication to calm me down.&she would not listen to me.she interrupted me alot.I was upset at my mom bcz of the way she had the ambulance to bring me at this jailhouse hospital. She also told the ambulance that i was mentally retarded. When I tried to tell her I made a mistake drinking monster drink & 5hour energy. It made me jigidi. With my medication.I tried telling the doctor there who was working with Dr Kyle Smith. About my mistake drinking monster drink & 5hour energy shots with my medication for anti depression and anxiety. He didn't really listen to me he claimed that my meds was not working. He tried changing my medication to Serroquel.
Ebony Whitford: I started working at StoneCrest Center in 2021. I love being part of such a great organization, that provides Quality care services to the patients.
Michael Prichard: Friendly staff and clean facilities
Ann Stewart: Working here is the best decision I have ever made
Danielle Todd (DaniGirl): I had a friend at StoneCrest Center who had a very positive stay and outcome once discharged.
Britany Spangler: The staff was so kind.
K H: StoneCrest Center (SCC) has been my work family for almost 9 years. The day I walked into that place I felt like I was supposed to work there. I remember walking out of my interview with this feeling of I belonged before I even was offered the job. You just never know where your path might lead you or what our purpose in life here on earth is. I feel confident to say that SCC has given me a purpose. Mental Illness alone is so stigmatized and dehumanized. Naturally, I believe that anyone not knowledgeable about how an inpatient behavioral hospital operates they are most likely not going to have a good picture of what it’s like. The only portrayal of inpatient psych I knew of before I started working there was from the movies. So no wonder why people have negative thoughts about this setting. Since working here, I have seen what amazing work we do at SCC. I witnessed patient breakthroughs while working with the different therapeutic services we offer during a patients stay. I have seen how our staff gets our patients to engage in different type activities such as talent shows, spirit week, and holiday celebration like trick or treating through the units on Halloween. It brings such joy to me to see our patients getting the help that they need and to feel like they are important.
Amelia M: Just came here to say that the social workers, therapists, nurses, and other staff members work really hard every day for their patients. I truly love my job as a therapist here and I see people get better every single day.
Amanda Norman: Activity therapy groups are engaging and fun, you can tell they enjoy doing what they do and care about the patients.

Beaumont Psychiatric Hospital: what do users think?
Patrick: Top notch facilities and staff. Excellent service and food. Definitely should be your first choice for inpatient or outpatient mental health services
Seph Davis: Hello and Good Morning America no need to fear shadow wolf is here. Does the word investigation mean anything to anyone who's had bad experiences at Beaumont? I'm in contact with current and previous patients this place. This facility needs a good reality check point and simple.
Myles Kirovski: Same routine, horrible staff, don't seem to care about their patients. One of the nurses were just yelling at the patients for not directly listening to them.
Jamie Eberwein: Took my daughter for emergency mental care. We were at the ER for 17 hours and never even saw a psychiatrist. The only doctor we saw was an ER doctor at intake for 5 minutes. The er staff misrepresented the reason we were being seen as suicidal ideation (my daughter was NOT suicidal) therefore when I tried to have my daughter discharged after 7 hours because she was not receiving care from a doctor, I was threatened by the night charge nurse that she would call security if I took her out. Additionally I was threatened with cps if I removed her from the hospital before they were ready to release her. This was absolutely the most traumatic hospital experience I’ve ever had. My rights as a parent were violated and ignored by the night staff. This is not a place for your teen!! I left after 17 hours never having received any care or resources. This experience at Beaumont completely rocked to my core. I am reeling still at how quickly my rights as a parent to decide what’s best for my child were taken away the minute I took her there for help. I actually had to request that the discharge paper be changed to reflect the actual reason we we’re being seen before leaving the hospital so her medical records were accurately reflected. So sad this is the state of our mental health system for teenagers who are in dire need of proper mental health care. How do you call yourself a emergency mental health facility when you do not have a psychiatric doctor on staff 24 hours? The only saving grace to this experience was the 2 social workers that we saw, if not for them I don’t think I would have been able to keep my composure. Thank you Steven & thank you & thank you Layla Ghani. You were our saving grace to this horrible experience & I appreciate you listening & hearing me as a parent.
Aaron Matney: My wife's mental health has been WORSE since being released. My wife checked herself in last week after having The Bad Thoughts ™ and had nothing but horror stories to tell me. At one point she was yelled at by a nurse for seemingly no reason. The doctor ignored her request for information on how to get tested for ADHD and Autism, instead opting to a diagnosis of DID based on sleep deprivation. Because apparently "I can't sleep and have thoughts of self harm" is immediately a telltale sign of DID.To to it all off, a number if patients were released at our around the same time as my wife with little heads up to me or others that they were "cleared" to be released. Reach out those patients, my eye included, had only been there but about a week and reach out then, my wife included bright home COVID. My wife is Immunocompromised and she got COVID from this place and rather than watch out for the well-being and health of their parents, they sent everyone home to keep spreading it.What the actual 🦆
Trevor Hamilton: Very very very terrible experience with this place. Was told there was one on one therapy and group therapy everyday along with family visitations and none of this was true. Zero one on one therapy and limited group therapy and was not allowed to see family at all. Social worker was non existent along with no communication to family about progress or a plan in place to be discharged. Called and left multiple voice messages with no return phone calls. Front desk people never passed along information to individuals so had to go up the chain of command to pass the information to the right person. Please do not send your loved ones here, they made it seem like it was the best place around when in reality it is one of the worst. Kept patients longer than expected due to social worker not being around and doing her job. Discharged with no doctors note or plan in place. Very poorly ran with zero communication or guidance. Please stay away.
Omar Hinojosa: Nurse Bose was so rude and condescending. She tried to diagnose me with gender identity issues. Thankfully I don’t have issues with my gender but even if I did she’s not psychiatrist or psychologist to give such a diagnosis. Also during the night shift she would close the door to the common room and shut off the tv despite there being a sign clearly stating its 24hrs. Some of us literally CANT sleep because of the meds. She was visibly annoyed when any of us got up from sleeping.Being a patient here the mentality honestly is to get out of there quick as possible. The care isn’t adequate. They don’t have 1 on 1 therapy which honestly is what I really needed. Some of the techs are amazing though, Jonathan and Josh, the group therapist and social worker was nice. They really tried they best and despite it all I do appreciate the effort they put in.Also change the water, the fountain water on the second floor taste gross. Im not exaggerating. Please taste it for yourself. Also stop recommending us to go to your website to address concerns when there is no place for feedback. Its an obvious ploy to look like you’re doing something without actually doing something.
Jade Magnuson: Staff care very little about patients well being, extremely unorganized which they blame on being understaffed. The only person that made an impact on me while I was here was one mental health nurse who told me “do whatever you’ve gotta do to get out of here, you don’t wanna be here.” I was terrified the entire time because they let patients who seem to be a danger to others co-mingle with those who aren’t struggling as hard. They really need to do better, the group therapy is not at all helpful for most people who will attend this place. Do better Beaumont.
Courtney Jackson: This was the worst hospital I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. It was constant abuse and neglect all day. I should have reported them to every outlet possible including the media but they messed up my medication so bad I was too sick and busy trying to find real help after discharge to do so. Avoid avoid avoid. Nurses and techs both openly admit they're so understaffed its not safe.
Flan Glan: literally how can a place that jacked up still be in business? you discharge people whenever you see fit, and half the time the patients arent even fully recovered to even be released yet but you still kick them out.
Kelly Spath: if you have mental health issues- run the other way. the psychiatrist gaslit me and blamed alcohol on my SA. they planned on sending me to court for trying to terminate my care despite me having two outside sources including a PROFESSIONAL vouch for my release. my social worker literally stood by and said “well, i wish there was something i could do🤷🏼‍♀️” while i had a panic attack, never mentioning my anti anxiety meds had been ordered. the homicidal and suicidal units are mixed, but they don’t tell you that- they just place you with the unstable patients and expect nothing to happen. the nurses are incredibly unprofessional, the techs are constantly complaining of being short staffed. had it not been for some select techs and the patients right advocate, i probably would still be in the facility, screaming for help on deaf ears. better help can be found ANYWHERE else.
Avalon Moreau: Pediatric staff were in every sense of the word, incredibly disappointing and wildly unprofessional. Staff would refuse to clean up hazardous messes (blood in communal bathroom sink, blood on floor/shower etc.) Until pediatric patients either cleaned it up ourselves or demanded to do it ourselves. Some staff would cuss at children, telling us to "Mind our damn business" when advocating for a fellow patient, snap and yell at patients who we're clearly sensitive to loud noises and tense environments. I had to file a complaint to the state of Michigan due to the outright denial of feminine hygiene products to myself for several hours. While some staff were incredible, the consensus among all of us on the pediatric wing was that it is an environment of fear, tension, and active humiliation. Unfortunately, the small group of excellent staff and somewhat pleasant therapy sessions fail to outweigh the horrific experience had by many patients here.
Chris Lane: Wanna say first hand that the staff there do all that they can and above especially Jacob Tyrell Josh and the rec therapist and rest of the staff all shorthand but still there giving it all to make sure that the patient/resident is getting proper treatment and care up to date. Only concern would be more assistance in temporary housing for those who need a foundation to start off on the right direction. But myself it was well needed. Thank you
Halima: If I could give it zero stars I would. My brother stayed here for 10 days and showed no improvement. He was probably worse to be honest. They lost all his things.
Rebecca Lala: If zero stars was only an option...This place treated my loved one like they were less than. The doctor victim blamed me. They repeated told patients they are so short staffed. No one cared that there are real life people with very high level issues they are there to help! Don't even get me started on how hard it was to get anyone on the phone. The case worker we were assigned to never returned a call. The receptionist didn't know case workers phone numbers or supervisors for the unit. I had to hunt the doctor and case worker down and demand action in order for a release processes to happen. Now its over 2 months later and they have "no contract" in place to bill insurance that will get me an explanation of benefits to get reimbursed for the out of pocket expenses I was told had to be made for treatment to start.DONT USE THIS FACILITY! In an already sensitive time they did nothing to help the situation and people that were in their care. The doctor is a joke!
Beth Scheda: I wish I could give more stars! The staff took wonderful care of my adolescent daughter while she was there for observation. Her doctor called me the day after she was admitted, her social worker set up an in person meeting 2 days after, they kept open communication the whole time, really helped to know she was somewhere that people cared about her. My daughter went outside to play, came home with projects she made during therapy and said she felt safe and supported. We’re so grateful for the information and help Beaumont provided.
Patty Gould: Terribly understaffed. Doctors are trash. Social Workers are basically all terrible (Lindsay is wonderful). The OTs are kind and good. KJ, Jacob, Tasha are the only good techs. The rest are lazy and will refuse you basic needs like water, hygiene products, and blankets. (One tech in particular brought me to the linen closet when I asked for a towel to shower, pointed to folded ones in the cabinet and said "see, none" while smiling) They do not respect dietary restrictions. They allow outwardly dangerous patients to stay on the floor, even when they have been violent towards staff and other patients. This is an unsafe and cruel environment.
Carey Damitio: Staff is phenomenal! Educates and listens to your concerns.
