Will Dill: So it took a minute to find this place. My date and I walked around the block 3 times before we realized it was under a restaurant named "Cornerstone Barrel House". Anyway once we got in I really felt the vibe here. I've never been out dancing before but the music really got me up and moving. It's a small and intimate place perfect for somebody that's not used to hanging out around large crowds like myself. And the dress code is whatever you want to wear. I saw women really dressed up and some people in jeans. They play house music and it's perfect to dance to. Drinks were good. I will be back!

Kelsey Hill: Two friends and I walked in, ordered drinks, and opened a tab. It was pretty dead at the bar with two other groups and three bartenders. After about 15 minutes of being ignored we yelled out at a bartender that we wanted shots. She gave us a dirty look and said ok. She then went and tended to every other group and never took our order. At this point we’ve been sitting for 30 minutes with no service. I ask another bartender for drinks and she says “ok give me a minute” and did not take our drink orders. We sat with no drinks as all three bartenders laughed and chatted with the other groups, serving them. We left. Literally refused to serve us and were completely rude for no reason at all. I never leave reviews but I felt completely disrespected and poorly treated here.
Christopher Park: This happened last Saturday. I left my phone on the bar and realized 15 min later, went back to asked the bartender if he had seen it, said he hadent. Thankfuly I had my friend with me and he decided to peek behind the bar anyways. MY PHONE WAS SITTING RIGHT BEHIND THE BAR OUT OF MY LINE OF SIGHT!!!!! He walked around and grabbed it. Bartender yelled at him and had security kick us out. Watch your stuff when you go to this place, most of the staff is out to STEAL it!!! Look at the other reviews on this page, lots of people get ripped off here. BEWHERE!!!!

Angel: Don’t come here on Saturdays!! Rude & disgusting, grimey trolls working at the counter where you pay. Trash workers & club.I was supposed to go to Annex for my birthday but instead we decided to stop by Bleu since we thought it was a Latin club (Fridays) cover was $60, my fiancé put $100 on the counter & the black girl working there yelled “don’t throw shi* at me, hand it to me” in a disgusting tone, I handed the $$ to her to deescalate the situation since I wanted to have a good night, the other girl was snickering in the corner. But I really should’ve taken the $$ & headed to Annex or a strip club instead. Walked in club was dead, drinks were gross. The vibes were horrible & dead. Walked out not even 10 min later. Waste of $$ & time.*I hope those fat, grimey trolls see this, I hope someone puts them in their place. Y’all work at a ghetto, trash club which matches your personalities perfectly. Miserable grimey a** jealous bvtches.

Static Streetz: The downfall of this club will definitely be the security at the front door. One security guy consistently creates problems with people and is known to be short tempered, which could create an unsafe environment for the club and people in it or waiting outside.

Bailey Buck: Guess I turned up a lil too hard on Halloween when working this event as a promo girl… The blonde manager had some type of bad intentions set towards me from the moment I introduced myself to her hmmm odd because I was making the business money and 4 hours into the night she decided to randomly kick me out when I was simply with my team out on the floor having a toast. Still to this day can’t understand who this woman thought she was to put her hands on me, extremely unprofessional of her. That’s ok will not ever be returning, just should have worked at Annex as a promo girl instead of this s*** show of a place.
My Reviews: Club Bleu is a nice large club to go party and is located right on Woodward Ave. My main issue is that you cannot tell what event is going inside. I've been to Bleu a few times in the past year and every time I called, I was told its was just a regular bar night, even got the same info from the bouncers. When I arrived and paid a cover, I would walk in and notice it was a private event. The venue should be more up front before making people wait in line and pay $30+ dollar cover only to walk into a private event.

Brooklynn Racquel: The way this club is operated is just way too aggressive. The staff, and especially the security team are extremely combative towards all of their guests. If you stand in the "improper" area of the club they will immediately threaten to kick you out or carry you outside.. It was really hard for me and my friends to let loose and have a great night here. I would not recommend this club at all. Plus it is really small in there.

If I was sober it would’ve been different.

Parker Landis: Ordered a drink never got it. Was forced to pay $26 for it even thought the bar tender never gave it to me and yelled at me to tip him, genuinely one of the worst bars I’ve ever been too. All they try to do is steal ur money and make u feel dumb about it.
María Camila Carvajal Arenas: The most traumatic situation I have ever experienced, I was physically attacked by a security guard, who lifted me by the neck simply for arguing when he touched my body. Nobody did anything, the situation was really sad. The owner being a woman said that she took me out in a kind way, this is even sadder, this never happened.
Eric Martin: I've been there several times and I only had one problem with one of the bar tenders not returning my credit card saying they couldn't find it. Last time I was in there after this they don't take credit cards anymore but only cash and I think that's why. Besides that I love going to this place and get my dance on.

Deana “Dee”: First time over Memorial Day weekend. Ended the night here twice, had a really great time on Saturday night. But man, I’m tempted to almost give 2 stars. The older black guy who ran the door on Tuesday morning (5am) had the EGO the size of Jupiter. So rude and arrogant 0 reason. Should be spreading kindness. I watched him be hyper rude to an older man, just giving him grief for pettiness, all while that man maintained calm and positivity.Then a group of 5 individuals cut directly in front of my small group. Tried to mention it and he told me “ don’t tell me how to do my job, you must not want to come in” … idk what was in his cup, maybe a cup of attitude juice. I know everyone has been up and awake and working, but geez did not have to be so hostile. Several people in the line were turned off by his behavior, but obviously said nothing else because we just wanted to continue with our party.

O' Dags: Edit: I found a review on Yelp where this same exact situation happened to another person. They said I'd you forget who your bartender is they will keep your card. My bartender forgot he was my bartender! What a joke. The Yelp review also stated that security attacked these people physically that were just trying to get their card back . Sad. The music is good but I won't tolerate this type of low class disrespect from anyone.I gave the bartender my card to open a tab. Later, I tried to close the tab and he told me he lost my card. I told him multiple times it was in the other register and he didn't listen. He told me the other bar tender had it. She did not. He lied and said he already closed me out. I told him, no he did not, that i never signed anything! After making me go through this song and dance, wondering where my card was for at least 30 minutes HE FINALLY LOOKED IN THE DRAWER I TOLD HIM 3 TIMES TO LOOK INTO and found my card. they refused to offer me any discount for the bs i had to deal with. I will never come back here.. I would appreciate someone in management reaching out about this matter

Realtalk 4eva: I went to this bar the Thursday before New Years of 2022 and gotta say, music was good and the DJ's - I think were all women! Shout out to this place for keepin my sister's in business and for the music on point. I had a black bartender who was super nice and on point, and then we had a bartender, white girl who had an attitude, and was slammin those drinks down to you on the other side of the entrance. It was cold, but I bet when the weather gets better all areas of the bar will be open. They had no cover charge, music was on point, they also had finger food at the front door, maybe because of holiday, but with no cover, it was lit! The only draw back for me was the drive because I live in A2. I found most of the staff, including Security to be friendly. I have only been here once and this was it!

Lauren Jones: If zero stars was an option that’s what I would leave for this establishment. We paid $20 each for a cover to get to the rooftop, no problem. Let me tell you that it’s not a rooftop. It’s a little room with an open ceiling. With zero seating. The seats were roped off and all had reserved signs on them. In order to get to the actual rooftop, you have to pay another $10 per person. They did not tell us that downstairs. So essentially after your $20 cover you pay extra to sit. There’s no wonder why this bar had no line and delmar had a line down the block. Wish we would have gone there. I definitely won’t return and I’ll advise others not to as well. I’ve worked in the industry for 12 years. Try being honest it will get you more business.

We were literally the only people in there the staff would not serve or seat us. They stated “everything was reserved nothing was available”. Keep in mind it was a Sunday at 4PM with not a soul in sight. We felt so uncomfortable we left. They might as well just put a whites only sign in the window because I felt like we took a step back into the 60’s. Detroit it filled with African Americans if y’all don’t want to serve blacks get the hell out of a predominantly black city. I’ve never felt more disgusted or disrespected in my life. I hope they close down.

Damon White: Owner walks around and caters to the white people and ignores the black people. It’s clear that he doesn’t want black people in his bar. He has separate section for the blacks in the parking lot. The bar is in a black city and not one bartender or server is non-white. All the blacks work in the kitchen. Service is slow with respect to food and drinks.

Andler: Barley anyone there, the floor was almost empty and got kicked out practically immediately for getting sick when i have an immunodeficiency disorder. The rudeness was palpable, trying to barge down the stall while i was getting sick. Who does that? I wasn’t sick anywhere else nor was it anyones business. Yes i may have had a shot, but that wasn’t the reason i was sick. I can handle my liquor ladies. I cant handle anxiety and you guys made it worse.

Nicole: This place is such a great time. There is a ton of room to dance and they have a lot of seating available so you can easily find a spot to chill as well. There is even an outdoor area with seating.You can also periodically feel air conditioning while you’re on the dance floor. My friends and I were so excited! We never got too hot and that’s pretty much unavoidable anywhere else.The bathrooms are also really nice as well!

Mandy Thomas: Male bartender with tattoos and nose ring makes awful tasting cocktails, he re-made it twice and both times awful, walked around the bar and asked another bartender to make it and it was perfect. I think he’s unfortunately in the wrong industry or needs bartending school
Lexi: Friday night at 10pm, and there were only three moms dancing all over each other. DJ looked miserable. Limited drink selections. Will not return.

They could tell you that my ID was real by the way… I’m not going to say what even ended up happening to me that night.

Chanel C: False advertising, terrible management and very unprofessional. I’ve been to this location numerous amount of times where the flyer promotions does not match what the staff says. I went to get in free before 11 as the flyer stated, the bouncer tells me it’s $20 at 10:40, i pull up the promoter’s Instagram to show them and surprisingly he deleted the post. But my friend had the screenshot, the staff still refused to honor the post and gave us terrible attitude and refused. All this was because of a special guest (Latto), that never actually came to this event. Would not be returning here again, wouldn’t recommend given this place your money. Drinks are overpriced as well.

I've promoted parties there, had a hs reunion there, etc etc. . .never not once have I ever been so disrespected so blatantly on a day that didn't even matter. Spent majority of the afternoon there celebrating a bday with friends only to find out they no longer offer food. After a couple friends left and came back from getting food I and 2 young ladies go down and walk to the next restaurant over to grab pizza right quick. Once in line for pizza the bouncer at the door says that we have to pay 20 to get back in. Why didn't you say that while I was walking out. I wouldn't have left. He then proceeds to tell me the owner saw me leave saw what I had on, he wants to attract a whiter crowd and that he told him to charge me 20. It was 90 degrees, I had on shorts and designer tee. I confronted the owner and his only excuse was he can change the the door whenever he wants. (It was 719 pm, I had been there since 3) my group had spent well over a few hundred dollars and I the owner eventually let me in once I started to call him out on his bull. Never again will I goto that establishment and I encourage anybody else to stay away. Oh here's the bouncer that fed into the BS after the fact (not the real one who told me the truth the one who tried to enforce the bs the owner set forth)
