Mark Silva: Gave a good review until they opened my packages... I understand there might have been a confusion in communication the first time. But twice? Even after specifically noting to the attendent and having a note on my account "DO NOT OPEN MY PACKAGES"... It was still shipped with them opening my packages and putting it in a larger box to accomdate all the packages Ive had sent to WHICH I BOUGHT AND SHIPPED TO THEM. I get no response from whoever is running the place after calling them out on it. Maybe leaving this review I can get some answers as to why they opened my packages which damaged all the contents that was in it. I don't like leaving bad reviews but come on. Have some accountability. Everyone was struggling with the pandemic last year. I paid the dues in full and paid for the boxes and tape. It is very unprofessional for you to ignore my messages and take accountability in your actions.

Carrece Faulknor: I understand COVID affects everyone, but this is beyond terrible at this point. I have an anniversary gift that has been there since 2020 that I couldn't pick up because I'm a healthcare worker working 12 hour shifts and I’m only able to cross for work purposes. On the off days I could cross for a few hour training or meeting, they were closed! So if they aren’t open on regular weekdays or aren’t open when working adults clock out, what is the point? Then, when I emailed them on Oct 12 to ask when they are open, I was told they would be “closed Oct. 13”. I emailed on October 14 to ask what hours they were open, only to see they actually WERE open on Oct 13 (when they said they would be closed) and now would be closed on Oct 14. So as a Canadian, you really can’t make plans around picking up a package because you don’t really know when you will be able to pick up. They either need to do a one day a week where they are open for a full 12-14 hours so people can pick up all their stuff, or only open after hours when folks are available after work! Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense to stay open. Business model is in DIRE need of reform. I write this with regret because they were recommended to me by a friend and I’ve had better service in the past. Seems older reviews also confirm they once had better service. I think COVID has done them in, so I feel obligated to alert others before they are also disappointed.

I am thinking I have been had and contemplating taking action assuming the business is still operating . The competition certainly is and the response from them was next day. Once and if I get my stuff, I am outta here Covid or no Covid.

Working just 3 days could be accepted as reasonable because of drastically slashed number of (Canadian) visitors/customers but practice of not answering phone calls, not responding to messages and sudden changes of business hours makes very bad picture.

Jamal Ali: I called the UPS store in morning to inquire about their notary services, and they confirmed their availability. Upon arriving at the store, I was told that the notary is right next door and would be available shortly. Despite waiting for over 20 minutes, nobody showed up. It was frustrating to have my time wasted, and it would have been preferable if I had been informed beforehand that there was nobody available to provide notary services. It was a disappointing experience.
B Langston: This store just makes up their own prices. Went there to get 10 papers printed that I emailed to them and was charged $11.00 but only .35 cent to make a copy. Never have I been charged that much but trust it will be the last time, rather go to a corporate store!

Like really I don't wanna hear that I have to be to work. I walked out because that's so unprofessional. She was a lite skin chic with lite brown hair and glasses. Even during her conversation she says she's the only one in the store and she doesn't get off until 7pm but continue her conversation like lady seriously.

Raymond Jackson: Place is run like a ghetto chicken shack. Paid to have a package packaged and shipped out of there, and it arrived damaged and ruined. As I left, the clerk went out of her way to tell me it would be backed "with love". That was nonsense - see pics. She wrapped it in a layer of bubble wrap and put it in a box, way oversize, where it bumped and banged it's way all the way to it's destination. The receiver emailed me that in shipping, it had been severely damaged and could not be worked on.I had to file a claim, but getting them to accept my claim was like pulling teeth. They don't even answer their phone sometimes. They show no professionalism and it seems that UPS does not hold them accountable for dragging their brand through the mud. If you care about your business, read the reviews and avoid this place, and maybe UPS altogether.

I came into this location at 12:00 pm Monday evening to have a paper faxed over and UPS store Employee Erin jones approached me with her cell phone device up to her ear she seemed to be arguing with a friend or someone because her attitude was very hostile when I asked if you guys were to fax my paper she goes on to unprofessionally use vulgar language cursing using profanity and she then proceeded to tell my daughter that they don’t fax and I know that’s not true because I’ve faxed with that location before I would really like for someone to file this claim to have her possibly terminated because not only was she acting professional on this date 6/20/22 there has also been times my friends have came and told me negative things about this worker as well again her name is Erin jones working at the 18701 Grand River Ave Detroit mi 48223 location she was very unprofessional and rude towards me and other customers-Patricia Womack

Dominique Guin: Poor customer service. They must not get paid enough because the energy in there is unwelcoming and not based on helping the customer. I came to ship a package with stamps. Any other post office I go to they calculate the stamps needed and stamp it with a seal of approval. Instead Rose asked me to put the stamps on myself and calculate how many stamps I need…not a big deal but that’s a part of your job to help with shipping and get it sent off versus coming with the negative energy.

Ane Plumas: September 17, 2022, my relative and I went to the acceptance facility at the main post office locatedon 1401 W. Fort Street for a passport. The picture was taken, the necessary information anddocuments were given, and the payments were made. I asked the woman who took the picture andprocessed the information, if two photos were printed out. Her response was that two photos were notprinted out anymore.Inquiring from others, we were informed that two photos were printed, not just one. One photo goeswith the passport application to the State Department and the 2nd exact photo (same duplicate photo)goes to the customer, whose picture was taken.After numerous calls and no response to the number provided for the facility, the 1800 275-USPS wascalled. The agents/representatives spoken to were knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Eachcase was opened with a number. We wanted the exact 2nd duplicate photo, that should have beenreceived on September 17, 2022, and for the reason why it was not received. A supervisor from thefacility was assigned to the case, and I believe she did her best. On September 27, 2022, thesupervisor for the case informed me that the photo came out blurry and was disposed of.I hope this is true, that the exact duplicate photo was properly disposed. The very nature of theinformation and documents provided and collected are extremely important. In the wrong hands itwould cause devasting effects that would be insurmountable, life altering and damaging to the personand loved ones.It would not have been hard for the woman who processed the information and printed the photos tohave been honest and forthcoming. We would not have had a problem with that!

There were 2 ladies at the desk, one of them was a African American and the other was Caucasian fat tall lady. It was my misfortune, I was taken care by “Caucasian fat tall lady”, she was so slow with the shipping process and I noticed she did not know her job well. When I asked her to expedite she was rude to me. There were other customers behind me and they were also shocked by her attitude. After struggling lot she finished my shipment. But when I asked her for printing job she was angry with me and took almost 55 minutes for simple job. At the end when billing process came, she was hostile with that too. She couldn’t print both of them together. It was clear that she could not fulfill what her job entailed. When I politely asked her to be quicker with my print job because I was getting late, she was incredibly inconsiderate of my situation. As I reminded her of my deadline she was intolerant of my critiques and carried on to do her job disgracefully.During the entire process I observed the other African American lady had served 6-8 customers gracefully and she was enjoying her work.

Zero stars…Well went to return 2 items back to amazon and was told by the associate and the manager that I needed to print out a label, they no longer allow scanning of a phone. They informed me I was doing things the "old" way with saving paper and using technology. 🙄Are you serious right now? How can you not allow scanning of a phone bar code unless you're tying to gouge he customer by making them use your computer and printer to charge more money. Which of course I paid for a computer charge and a print charge.I filed a complaint with ups corporate as well because frankly I could have used fed ex or usps.

Collecting Asia: Not recommended. This store does not adequately pack items. They cut costs on their packaging materials with my shipment. They shipped a $3,000 heavy bronze statue for me without the use of bubblewrap or packing peanuts. They used paper and inflated air bags like a cheap amazon delivery. I also paid for double-boxing - they did not double-box it. They also used a box size without the industry standard of a least 4 inches of crush room all the way around a fragile and expensive item. I also paid for insurance which they have not honored. They charged me $148 for shipping - I ran the cost through UPS's online calculator for the package dimensions and add-ons - the cost was $56. So they got $90+ to pack in a single box and stuff with paper.Bottom line - this location handles packages from local auctions and is in the business of doing high volume and not giving special attention to handling fragile items or making sure they are packaged carefully.

Beau: If you’re OTR, using a 53ft trailer…Turn onto clay street(do NOT come off Euclid onto Hartwick, you’ll have to back down the road to Riopelle as Hartwick is blocked off from there.) when on clay you can park along side the road before checking in. Enter in the door on the side next to the docks.Then you will have to pull up and back onto Hartwick. I was honestly terrified of coming here due to the dock, been driving for only two years and I’ve had problems backing the last week or two…but it could be WAY worse. I’m 73ft total.Staff is helpful in spotting when backing. Keep your tandems forward (if you put them back you’re going to have a bad time) and get close to the left side of the street before you back. It’ll make it so much easier. You have about 3 feet on both sides. So keep yourself as close on the left as possible. You’ll have to creep and pull up a few times to get yourself back underneath. Back in all the way in then pull up to adjust to the dock. The staff is more than happy to help spot you. I had to back into door 3.Took under an hour to unload.

Tim Jordan: Staff on the dock is pleasant and helpful. Drivers, it's old construction designed for 40 and single screw daycab. If you are bringing a 53' and sleeper, also bring your alley backing A-game. The dock staff will help spot if you ask. Listen to their advice and you can get in without breaking anything. Open doors AFTER you get into the docks.
Christina Cook: They play favoritism, if you don't fit in they will push you to want to quit, or find a way to get rid of you, especially in manual assembly...management is very manipulative and messy, and very low key with it, and Good at pulling the wool over the eyes of the head people in charge. The pay isn't worth the drama... altho I loved the work... just couldn't deal with the asst manager and his side kick's devious lil tricks towards workers that they felt were on to their games
