Danny Holland: Shawn was supposed to complete a project for me last week, we had agreed on Tuesday or Wednesday, Sunday morning and still nothing. We had agreed on numbers and everything, but I haven’t heard anything from him and he’s not responding to my messages. The job was supposed to be done 5 days ago and still no communication, very disappointing, especially because He was quick to respond when I was shopping around, had told me he could get the urgent job taken care of very quickly, etc. Hopefully He makes it right.

search 4 truth: I've used them once on a big limestone replacement job. They came out to get the profile, took the money, and then sent me the wrong profile which was semi detailed. And it was wrong. It was about a 500 pound piece. So homeowner didnt pay and they wouldnt replace it. So I lost. Recently had them do a radius for two wing walls they didnt send the diagram, numbered them backward, meaning the bottom piece was labeled number four and the top was number one. Tried to get an answer from them for several hours waiting around losing money when I finally got the diagram. That's when I realized they labeled them 4-1 and 3-1. Supposed to be 10 inches wide and they varied. One piece was a 10 1/4, one piece was 10 3/16. They had me cut the top pieces and didnt even miter them for the angle. Then I had one piece completely missing. When i sent them a text telling them, they complained about my disappointment in their unprofessionalism. And I didnt curse or anything. I have been in this business since 1984. Labored and served my apprenticeship in the union and worked commercial for 13 years. Before that I learned from italian, polish, and german families and companies bricking and stoning new homes. Now I do custom work on homes. And I would never rely on them to get anything correct.

Connie Kubinski: A very honest and fair priced company. You can tell they care about every client that calls. They straightened up my chimney cap for a low and fair price. Usually, other companies push small jobs like this to the back burner, but chimney cricket had my cap straightened the same day! I had issues with two other contractors that were going to charge me $750 to tuck point some small holes and straighten a crooked chimney cap. Chimney cricket was honest and told me I could use some caulk to fill the small holes I had concerns about, they saved me, cumulatively, about $500. Great company, highly recommend!

The cmpany came out they said they would inspect the chimney not sure what that looks like so I've never had a chimney inspection but he only looked up the chimney with his phone and told me that it was not in good shape, I believe he said the though the openings were rested when you pull on the chain.Either way I was interested in the pricing to get the fireplace repaired or to put in a wood-burning insert.The gentleman who came out I don't remember his name and he didn't leave a business card however he told me that he would get me the numbers the same day which was this Thursday the 1st or he would get me the estimate the next day either way it's two days later today is Saturday and I haven't heard anything.I left a message at the office hopefully I'll get a call on Monday

Jared Dykstra: I would not recommend this company if you want someone who will actually show up. In October I made an appt for early Nov. They called me before the appt and pushed it back to a Thursday a couple weeks later. That Thursday came and went so I called and asked what happened and they said they had me down for Friday, the following day. Friday came and went with no word so I called and left a message again and never received a return call.
Shelby Walsh: I was supposed to have someone come out to clean and inspect my gas fireplace today but was unfortunately no call no showed. I never got a confirmation of the appointment either. This was a reschedule from the last date because they had no gas technician and it was cancelled last minute. If they weren't going to be open today this date should have never been offered to me. Honestly the communication with this company has been horrible and I will not recommend them to anyone. My parents used them for their fireplace services and was happy with them but that has not been my experience.

Jimmy, Arleon, and Tony did a great job with our initial install. When we discovered that the unit did not fit the opening of our original fireplace (1928 home), they worked with us to raise it up and get a unique surround created.Now our pup gets to enjoy it just in time for the Holidays!

Step Hen: I wish I had known before booking this company that it’s actually a conceptual theatre troupe posing as a chimney contractor. What they do is very cool (as long as you don’t actually need work done on your chimney): they tell you they’re sending a very experienced chimney inspector to your house; they actually send someone young and inexperienced; he proceeds to do a painstakingly thorough chimney inspection that goes on for several hours; he promises to complete the inspection notes during his lunch break; when you don’t receive them for a day, you call several times, but they avoid your number, so then you call from another number and they pick up immediately, promising the inspection report will be delivered ASAP; you might call and call again, but once they know your number, they never pick up; it’s been some time now and I still haven’t received the inspection report, which is pretty avant garde considering they knew I was on a tight deadline for my inspection period. 1 star for the chimney service but 5 stars for the performance art piece.

In the end, I have the fireplace I always wanted when others told me it was not possible. The work exceeded all my expectations. Each one of the crew members were friendly, professional and kept my home clean during the process. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

At the end of the day, the team cleaned up. The end result is a custom, beautifully crafted fireplace and hearth.

Nick Mancuso: Competitive, honest, and timely quote. The crew worked to make sure every piece of the chimney replacement was done correctly and even fixed a few spots at no extra charge. It was also helpful to have someone come over and review everything before and after the job was done. Great job, highly recommend.
Ann Hurley: Madison Maintenance worked on my house to repair serious bird damage. Woodpeckers drilled large holes in the stucco on my Tudor-style house. They also discovered serious dry rot of the decorative timbers and offered several solutions regarding repair / replacement. They fit me into their tight schedule so that repairs could be completed before winter sets in.I cannot say enough positive things about their work. The replacement of stucco board and timbers and painting was absolutely perfect. The project manager was communicative and extremely helpful, and the crew lead has an eagle eye for detail.The crew worked as a well-coordinated, tireless team. No one took a break at all during the workday.They were very careful of my garden beds when they erected scaffolding and made sure that the jobsite was tidy at the end of each day. They even swept the driveway to make sure there were no nails on the surface.Each worker was courteous and respectful.I will never work with another mason. Madison Maintenance was the best and exceeded my expectations.

I had lots of family members that are in masonry, but are not in international and most of them say they only can travel state wide. As a young boy I aways wanted to put on a nice formal dress suit like the elder guys in my family, and March in paradise, in buildings, and give back to the community too. The whole neighborhood use to say them brothers are sharp and they mean business. That’s what I wanted to hear them say about me too. But my father always told me knowledge is the key, learn our history, and give back to our community to make it last forever.
